A series of novel ionic liquids consisting of 1-butyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium chloride (Pyr14Cl) and TaCl5 were obtained in a wide range of molar compositions for electrochemical application. Raman spectroscopy was used to investigate the complex formation of tantalum(V) in the mixtures of (x)Pyr14Cl-(1 - x)TaCl5 (x = 0.80-0.30) over the temperature range 20-160 degrees C. Depending on the molar composition, different species of tantalum (V) were identified. In the basic and neutral mixtures of (x)Pyr14Cl-(1 - x)TaCl5 (x = 0.80-0.50), tantalum(V) exists in the form of octahedral [TaCl6](-) in both solid and molten states. In acidic ionic liquids (x = 0.45-0.30), [Ta2Cl10] units are the main species of tantalum(V) identified in the solid state. As the temperature rose, the gradual degradation of [Ta2Cl10] units was observed in the solid state, accompanied by the formation of [TaCl6](-) and [Ta2Cl11](-) anions. In the molten state, in the range between 130 and 160 degrees C, the latter two species exist in equilibrium and are the dominant species of tantalum(V). The formation of oxochloride species of tantalum(V) was investigated in mixtures of Pyr14Cl-TaCl5-Na2O (x = 0.65) at various O/Ta mole ratios, and the formation of the oligomeric species with Ta-O-Ta bridging bonds was determined.  相似文献

Mo(V) aqua-chloro complexes in hydrochloric acid solutions have been studied by means of Mo K- and L2,3-edge X-ray absorption and Raman spectroscopic methods. The solid compounds (HPPh3)2[MoOCl5] (1), 6[MoOCl4(H2O)]-.10(pyH)+.4Cl- (2), and (pyH)2[Mo2O4Cl4(trans-OH2)2] (3) were used for structural comparisons. The compound 2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pmma (no. 51) with a=21.398(3), b=8.057(4), c=13.330(4) A, and Z=4. In 0.2 M solutions of MoCl5 in 7.4-9.4 M HCl the mononuclear [MoOCl4(OH2)]- complex dominates with the bond distances Mo=O 1.66(2) A, Mo-Cl 2.38(2) A, and Mo-OH2 2.30(2) A. Its Raman band at 994 cm-1 for the Mo=O symmetric stretching vibration is closer to that of 2 (988 cm-1) than of 1 (969 cm-1). The Mo K-edge EXAFS spectrum for 0.2 M MoCl5 in 1.7 M HCl solution reveals a dinuclear [Mo2O4Cl6-n(OH2)n]n-4 (n=2, 3) complex with a double oxygen bridge and the average distances Mo=O 1.67(2) A, Mo-(mu-O) 1.93(2) A, Mo-Cl 2.47(3) A, Mo-Mo 2.56(2) A, and a short Mo-OH2 distance of 2.15(2) A, which implies that at least one of the aqua ligands is in equatorial position relative to the two axial Mo=O bonds. This position differs from the Mo-OH2 configuration exclusively trans to the M=O groups of the isomeric (with n=2) dinuclear complex in 3. The difference in the ligand field is also reflected in their L2,3-edge XANES spectra. For 0.2 M MoCl5 solutions in intermediate HCl concentrations (3.7-6.3 M) the Raman bands at 802 cm-1 (Mo-O-Mo) and 738 cm-1 (Mo-(mu-O)2-Mo) verify three coexisting classes of Mo(V) complexes: mononuclear complexes together with dinuclear mono-oxo (e.g., [Mo2O3Cl6(H2O)2]2-) and dioxo bridged species, even though principal component analysis (PCA) of the corresponding series of EXAFS spectra only could distinguish two major components. By fitting linear combinations of the appropriate EXAFS oscillation components, dioxo-bridged dinuclear complexes were found to dominate at HCl concentrations相似文献

By treatment of Zn-reduced ethanolic solutions of NbCl5 with HCl in the presence of sulfide followed by cation-exchange chromatography, two oxo-sulfido niobium aqua ions, the red [Nb4(mu4-S)(mu2-O)5(H2O)10]4+ and the yellow-brown [Nb5(mu3-S)2(mu3-O)2(mu2-O)2(H2O)14]8+, were isolated. Both readily form their respective thiocyanate complexes, for which the structure for the former has been previously reported. Brown crystals of (Me2NH2)6[Nb5S2O4(NCS)14].3.5H2O (1) were isolated in the case of the latter, and the structure was determined by X-ray crystallography (space group: a = 15.4018(5) A, b = 21.1932(8) A, c = 22.0487(8) A, alpha=gamma = 90 degrees , beta = 103.4590(10) degrees , and R(1) = 0.0659). An unprecedented pentanuclear Nb5S2O48+ core is revealed in which short Nb-Nb distances (2.7995(8)-2.9111(8) A) are consistent with metal-metal bonding. A stopped-flow kinetic study of the 1:1 equilibration of NCS- with [Nb4(mu4-S)(mu2-O)5(H2O)10]4+ has been carried out. Equilibration rate constants are independent of [H(+)] in the range investigated (0.5-2.0 M) and at 25 degrees C; kf= 9.5 M(-1) s(-1), kaq = 2.6 x 10(-2) s(-1), and K = 365 M1). Conditions with first NCS- and then [Nb4(mu4-S)(mu2-O)5(H2O)10]4+ in excess revealed a statistical factor of 4, suggesting the presence of four kinetically equivalent Nb atoms. Attempts to study the 1:1 substitution of NCS- with [Nb5(mu3-S)2(mu3-O)2(mu2-O)2(H2O)14]8+ showed signs of saturation kinetics. Quantum chemical calculations using the density functional theory (DFT) approach were performed on both the Nb4O5S4+ and Nb5O4S28+ naked clusters. The highest occupied and lowest unoccupied molecular orbitals have dominant Nb(4d) character. The HOMO for Nb4O5S4+ is a nondegenerate fully filled MO, whereas for Nb5O4S28+, it is a nondegenerate partially filled MO with one unpaired electron. EPR spectroscopy on [Nb5(mu3-S)2(mu3-O)2(mu2-O)2(H2O)14]8+ shows that the molecule has total anisotropy (C2v), with all three tensors, gx= 2.399, gy= 1.975, and gz= 1.531, resolved. No hyperfine interaction expected from the nuclear moment of I = 9/2 for 93Nb was observed.  相似文献

4-(2-Pyridylazo) resorcinol (PAR) and citrate were used as pre-column complexing agents for the determination of Nb(V) and Ta(V) as ternary complexes in geological samples. Aliquots of 2 ml of the standard and sample solutions containing the Nb(V) and Ta(V) complexes were loaded onto a concentrator column (C18, 0.4 cm x 4.6 mm) with a carrier mobile phase comprising 20% (v/v) methanol and containing 5 mM acetic acid, 5 mM citric acid and 10 mM tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBABr), pH 6.5 at 2 ml/min for 2 min, with the effluent being directed to waste. An automatic switching valve was then switched to flush both complexes from the concentrator column onto a C18 analytical column using a mobile phase comprising 32% (v/v) methanol and containing 5 mM acetic acid, 5 mM citric acid and 3 mM TBABr, pH 6.5 for 2.5 min. The switching valve was then switched back to the original position, and cleaned with methanol for 7 min to eliminate unwanted species still adsorbed to the concentrator column. This procedure prevented later eluting compounds from reaching the analytical column, which reduced the overall run time. The detection limits of Nb(V) and Ta(V) (determined at a signal-to-noise ratio of 3, detection wavelength of 540 nm and a 2-ml sample volume) were 0.012 and 0.039 ppb for Nb(V) and Ta(V), respectively. Recoveries of Nb(V) and Ta(V) were 99.4 and 96.2%, respectively. The HPLC results obtained from the reference granite and basalt samples agreed well with inductively coupled plasma MS and certified values, but the HPLC method yielded slightly low values of the Nb/Ta ratio.  相似文献

Six new phases in the alkali metal-Nb(V)/Ta(V)-Se(IV)/Te(IV)-O systems have been prepared by solid-state reactions at high-temperatures. Their structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. AM(3)O(6)(QO(3))(2) (A = K, Rb, M = Nb, Ta, Q = Te; A = K, M = Nb, Q = Se) are isomorphous and their structures feature a 3D network with 1D 4- and 6-MRs tunnels along the a-axis which is composed of 2D layers of corner-sharing MO(6) octahedra bridged by QO(3) groups. The alkali metal ions are located at the above 1D tunnels of 6-MRs. The structure of Cs(3)Nb(9)O(18)(TeO(3))(2)(TeO(4))(2) features a thick Nb-Te-O layer built of corner-sharing NbO(6) octahedra, TeO(3) and TeO(4) groups. The 2D layer of the NbO(6) octahedra with 1D tunnels of 6-MRs along the c-axis are formed by 1D chains of NbO(6) chains along the c-axis and linear Nb(4)O(21) tetramers by corner-sharing. The TeO(3) and TeO(4) groups are grafted on both sides of the niobium-oxide layer via Nb-O-Te or/and Te-O-Te bridges. The caesium(i) ions are located at the above 1D tunnels of 6-MRs. TGA, UV-vis and infrared spectral measurements as well as electronic structure calculations have also been performed.  相似文献

Crystal structures of newly synthesized tetramethylammonium hexafluoridoniobate(V) and hexafluoridotantalate(V) (CH3)4N[МF6] (M=Nb, Ta) have been determined; they crystallize in the tetragonal crystal system, sp. gr. P4/nmm. Crystal structures of isostructural compounds (CH3)4N[МF6] (M=Nb, Ta) are formed by virtually regular tetrahedral tetramethylammonium cations (CH3)4N+ (NMe4, TMA) and octahedral complex anions [МF6] (M=Nb, Ta), fluorine atoms of the equatorial plane are statistically disordered over two positions. Ionic interactions and weak hydrogen bonds C–H???F join the cations and the complex anions in a 3D assembly.  相似文献

Summary Niobium(V) and tantalum(V) pentaethoxides react with monofunctional benzoyl hydrazones (BHy) in refluxing benzene to give products of the type, M(OEt)5–n(BHy)n (where M=Nb or Ta and n=1, 2 or 3). The complexes have been characterised on the basis of elemental analysis, spectral (i.r. and n.m.r.) and molecular weight data.  相似文献

New water-soluble bimetallic peroxo-tartrato complexes of niobium(V) and/or tantalum(V) have been prepared, characterized from the structural and spectroscopic point of view, and used as molecular precursors for Nb-Ta mixed oxides. Two new homometallic complexes, (gu)5[Nb2(O2)4(tart)(Htart)] x 4H2O (1a) and (gu)6[Ta2(O2)4(tart)2] x 4H2O (2a), and the corresponding heterometallic complex, (gu)5[NbTa(O2)4(tart)(Htart)] x 4H2O (3), have been obtained. The crystal structures of the homometallic compounds, (gu)5[Nb2(O2)4(tart)(Htart)] x 6H2O x 1H2O2 (1b) and (gu)6[Ta2(O2)4(tart)2] x 6H2O (2b), have been determined, showing, for both cases, two 8-fold-coordinated metal atoms, each surrounded by oxygen atoms belonging to two bidentate peroxides, two monodentate carboxylato, and two alkoxo groups from both bridging tartrato ligands. The coordination polyhedron around each metal atom is a dodecahedron. The thermal treatment of complexes 1a, 2a, and 3 in air at 700 or 800 degrees C, depending of the Ta content, provided Nb2O5, Ta2O5, and the solid solution TaNbO5, respectively. The thermal treatment of a 1:1 Nb/Ta molar ratio mixture of 1a and 2a has also been studied. BET and SEM measurements have been carried out and reveal these oxides possess relatively high specific surface areas and display a porous character. Comparison between the use of homo- and heterometallic precursors is discussed.  相似文献

Treatment of p-tert-butylcalix[6]areneH(6) (H(6)tBu-L) or p-tert-butylcalix[8]areneH(8) (H(8)tBu-L(1)) with [MCl(5)] (M=Nb, Ta) in refluxing toluene or dichloromethane affords, after work-up, the complexes [{M(NCMe)Cl(2)}(2)(tBu-L)] (M=Nb (1), Ta (2)) and [(MCl(2))(2)(tBu-L(1)H(2))] (M=Nb (4), Ta (5)), respectively. Complex 1, as well as [{Nb(2)(mu-O)(2)(mu-Cl)(tBu-LH)}(2)] (3), is also available from [NbOCl(3)] and H(6)tBu-L. Reaction of [MOCl(3)] (M=Nb, Ta) with Li(3)(tBu-L(2)) in diethyl ether, where H(3)tBu-L(2) is p-tert-butylhexahomotrioxacalix[3]areneH(3), affords, after work-up, the trimeric complexes [{M(tBu-L(2))(mu-O)}(3)] (M=Nb (6), Ta (7)). The behaviour of 1 to 7 (not 3), as well as the known complexes [{(MCl)p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene}(2)] (M=Nb (8), Ta (9)) and [(MCl(2))p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene(OMe)] (M=Nb (10), Ta (11)), as pro-catalysts for the polymerisation of ethylene has been investigated. In the presence of dimethyl (or diethyl)aluminium chloride, methylaluminoxane or trimethylaluminium, these niobium and tantalum procatalysts are all active (<35 g mmol(-1) h(-1) bar(-1)), for the polymerisation of ethylene affording high-molecular-weight linear polyethylene. The dimethyleneoxa-bridged systems (derived from 6 and 7) are more active (84 and 46 g mmol(-1) h(-1) bar(-1), respectively) than the methylene-bridged systems. The molecular structures of 1-6 and 10 (acetonitrile solvate) are reported.  相似文献

The reactions between triphenylbismuth, salicylic acid, and the metal alkoxides M(OCH(2)CH(3))(5) (M = Nb, Ta) or Ti[OCH(CH(3))(2)](4) have been investigated under different reaction conditions and in different stoichiometries. Six novel heterobimetallic bismuth alkoxy-carboxylate complexes have been synthesized in good yield as crystalline solids. These include Bi(2)M(2)(sal)(4)(Hsal)(4)(OR)(4) (M = Nb, Ta; R = CH(2)CH(3), CH(CH(3))(2)), Bi(2)Ti(3)(sal)(8)(Hsal)(2), and Bi(2)Ti(4)(O(i)Pr)(sal)(10)(Hsal) (sal = O(2)CC(6)H(4)-2-O; Hsal = O(2)CC(6)H(4)-2-OH). The complexes have been characterized spectroscopically and by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compounds of the group V transition metals contain metal ratios appropriate for precursors of ferroelectric materials. The molecules exhibit excellent solubility in common organic solvents and good stability against unwanted hydrolysis. The nature of the thermal decomposition of the complexes has been explored by thermogravimetric analysis and powder X-ray diffraction. We have shown that the complexes are converted to the corresponding oxide by heating in an oxygen atmosphere at 500 degrees C. The mass loss of the complexes, as indicated by thermogravimetric analysis, and the resulting unit cell parameters of the oxides are consistent with the formation of the desired heterobimetallic oxide. The complexes decomposed to form the bismuth-rich phases Bi(4)Ti(3)O(12) and Bi(5)Nb(3)O(15) as well as the expected oxides BiMO(4) (M = Nb, Ta) and Bi(2)Ti(4)O(11).  相似文献

Treatment of [Et(4)N][M(CO)(6)] (M = Nb, Ta) with I(2) in DME at -78 degrees C produces solutions of the bimetallic anions [M(2micro-I)(3)(CO)(8)](-). Addition of the tripodal phosphine (t)BuSi(CH(2)PMe(2))(3) (trimpsi) followed by refluxing affords (trimpsi)M(CO)(3)I [M = Nb (1), Ta (2)], which are isolable in good yields as air-stable, orange-red microcrystalline solids. Reduction of these complexes with 2 equiv of Na/Hg, followed by treatment with Diazald in THF, results in the formation of (trimpsi)M(CO)(2)(NO) [M = Nb (3), Ta (4)] in high isolated yields. The congeneric vanadium complex, (trimpsi)V(CO)(2)(NO) (5), can be prepared by reacting [Et(4)N][V(CO)(6)] with [NO][BF(4)] in CH(2)Cl(2) to form V(CO)(5)(NO). These solutions are treated with 1 equiv of trimpsi to obtain (eta(2)-trimpsi)V(CO)(3)(NO). Refluxing orange THF solutions of this material affords 5 in moderate yields. Reaction of (trimpsi)VCl(3)(THF) (6) with 4 equiv of sodium naphthalenide in THF in the presence of excess CO provides [Et(4)N][(trimpsi)V(CO)(3)] (7), (trimpsi)V(CO)(3)H, and [(trimpsi)V(micro-Cl)(3)V(trimpsi)][(eta(2)-trimpsi)V(CO)(4)].3THF ([8][9].3THF). All new complexes have been characterized by conventional spectroscopic methods, and the solid-state molecular structures of 2.(1)/(2)THF, 3-5, and [8][9].3THF have been established by X-ray diffraction analyses. The solution redox properties of 3-5 have also been investigated by cyclic voltammetry. Cyclic voltammograms of 3 and 4 both exhibit an irreversible oxidation feature in CH(2)Cl(2) (E(p,a) = -0.71 V at 0.5 V/s for 3, while E(p,a) = -0.55 V at 0.5 V/s for 4), while cyclic voltammograms of 5 in CH(2)Cl(2) show a reversible oxidation feature (E(1/2) = -0.74 V) followed by an irreversible feature (0.61 V at 0.5 V/s). The reversible feature corresponds to the formation of the 17e cation [(trimpsi)V(CO)(2)(NO)](+) ([5](+)()), and the irreversible feature likely involves the oxidation of [5](+)() to an unstable 16e dication. Treatment of 5 with [Cp(2)Fe][BF(4)] in CH(2)Cl(2) generates [5][BF(4)], which slowly decomposes once formed. Nevertheless, [5][BF(4)] has been characterized by IR and ESR spectroscopies.  相似文献

Treatment of (trimpsi)V(CO)(2)(NO) (trimpsi = (t)BuSi(CH(2)PMe(2))(3)) with 1 equiv of PhICl(2) or C(2)Cl(6) or 2 equiv of AgCl affords (trimpsi)V(NO)Cl(2) (1) in moderate yields. Likewise, (trimpsi)V(NO)Br(2) (2) and (trimpsi)V(NO)I(2) (3) are formed by the reactions of (trimpsi)V(CO)(2)(NO) with Br(2) and I(2), respectively. The complexes (trimpsi)M(NO)I(2)(PMe(3)) (M = Nb, 4; Ta, 5) can be isolated in moderate to low yields when the (trimpsi)M(CO)(2)(NO) compounds are sequentially treated with 1 equiv of I(2) and excess PMe(3). The reaction of (trimpsi)V(CO)(2)(NO) with 2 equiv of ClNO forms 1 in low yield, but the reactions of (trimpsi)M(CO)(2)(NO) (M = Nb, Ta) with 1 equiv of ClNO generate (trimpsi)M(NO)(2)Cl (M = Nb, 6; Ta, 7). Complexes 6 and 7 are thermally unstable and decompose quickly at room temperature; consequently, they have been characterized solely by IR and (31)P[(1)H] NMR spectroscopies. All other new complexes have been fully characterized by standard methods, and the solid-state molecular structures of 1.3CH(2)Cl(2), 4.(3/4)CH(2)Cl(2), and 5.THF have been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. A convenient method of generating Cl(15)NO has also been developed during the course of these investigations.  相似文献

A method for the simultaneous separation and determination of Nb(V) and Ta(V) as ternary complexes formed with 4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol (PAR) and citrate was developed using ion-interaction reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography on a C18 column. Method parameters, such as pre-column complex formation conditions and composition of the complexes were investigated using spectrophotometry and HPLC. Under the optimum conditions, the Nb(V) and Ta(V) complexes were eluted within 12 min with a mobile phase of methanol–water (32:68, v/v) containing 5 mM acetate, 5 mM TBABr and 5 mM citrate buffer at pH 6.5, with detection at 540 nm. A typical separation efficiency was 33 000 and 20 000 theoretical plates per metre for Nb(V) and Ta(V), respectively. The relative standard deviation of retention times for the Nb(V) and Ta(V) complexes were 0.16% and 0.17% and for peak areas were 0.28% and 1.36%, respectively. The detection limits (signal-to-noise ratio=3) for Nb(V) and Ta(V) were 0.4 ppb and 1.4 ppb, respectively. Results obtained for standard reference rock samples agreed well with certified values and results obtained by inductively coupled plasma MS.  相似文献

Monometallic derivatives of tetrakis(1,2,5-thiadiazole)porphyrazine, [TTDPzH2], with main group tervalent metal ions having the formulae [TTDPzMX] (TTDPz = tetrakis(1,2,5-thiadiazole)porphyrazinato dianion; M = Al(III), X = Cl-, Br-, OH-; M = Ga(III), X = Cl-, OH-; M = In(III), X = AcO-) were prepared and investigated by single-crystal X-ray analysis and IR and UV-vis spectroscopy as well as cyclic voltammetry and spectroelectrochemistry. The complexes [TTDPzMX] (M = Al(III), X = Cl-, Br-; M = Ga(III), X = Cl-) were obtained by direct autocyclotetramerization of the precursor 3,4-dicyano-1,2,5-thiadiazole in hot quinoline in the presence of MX3 salts (M = Al(III), Ga(III); X = Cl-, Br-) and were hydrolized to form the corresponding hydroxide derivatives, [TTDPzMOH]. The In(III) complex, [TTDPzIn(OAc)], was obtained from the free-base macrocycle [TTDPzH2] with In(OH)(OAc)2 in CH3COOH. A single-crystal X-ray study was made at 173 K on the two isostructural species [TTDPzMCl] (M = Al(III), Ga(III)), which have space group P, with a = 12.470(14), b = 12.464(13), and c = 13.947(12) angstroms, alpha = 70.72(3), beta = 79.76(3), and gamma = 90.06(3) degrees, V = 2009.3(3) angstroms3, and Z = 4 for [TTDPzAlCl] and a = 12.429(3), b = 12.430(3), and c = 13.851(3) angstroms, alpha = 70.663(6), beta = 79.788(8), and gamma = 89.991(9) degrees, V = 1983.3(7) angstroms3, and Z = 4 for [TTDPzGaCl]. Square pyramidal coordination exists about the M(III) centers, with Cl- occupying the apical position (Al-Cl = 2.171(5) and Ga-Cl = 2.193(1) angstroms). Al(III) and Ga(III) are located at distances of 0.416(6) and 0.444(2) angstroms from the center of the N4 system. The molecular packing consists of stacked double layers with internal and external average interlayer distances of 3.2 and 3.3 angstroms, respectively. IR spectra show nu(Al-Cl) at 345 cm(-1) for [TTDPzAlCl], nu(Al-Br) at 330 cm(-1) for [TTDPzAlBr], and nu(Ga-Cl) at 382 cm(-1) for [TTDPzGaCl]. The UV-vis spectra in weakly basic (pyridine, DMF, DMSO) and acidic solvents (CF3COOH, H2SO4) show the typical intense pi --> pi transition bands in the Soret (300-400 nm) and Q-band regions (640-660 nm), the bands evidencing some dependence on the nature of the solvent, particularly in acidic solutions. Cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry, and thin-layer spectroelectrochemical measurements in pyridine and dimethylformamide of the species [TTDPzMX] indicate reversible first and second one-electron reductions, whereas additional ill-defined reductions are observed at more negative potentials. The examined species are much easier to reduce than their phthalocyanine or porphyrin analogues as a result of the remarkable electron-attracting properties of the TTDPz macrocycle which contains annulated strongly electron-deficient thiadiazole rings.  相似文献

The complexes MX5(THF) (M = Nb, X = Cl, 2a; M = Ta, X = F, 2c, X = Cl, 2d) and [MX4(THF){O(CH2)4O(CH2)3CH2)}][MX6] (M = Nb, X = Cl, 3a; M = Ta, X = Cl, 3d, X = Br, 3e, X = I, 3f) result from reactions of MX5 with 0.5 and 1.5 equiv of THF, respectively. Compounds 3 contain the unprecedented 4-(tetrahydrofuran-1-ium)-butan-1-oxo ligand and are likely to play a role in the course of THF polymerization catalyzed by MX5. The addition of L (L = 2,5-dimethyltetrahydrofuran, tetrahydropyran, 1,4-dioxane) to MX5 results in the formation of the hexacoordinated complexes MX5(L). The molecular structures of 2d, 3d, and NbCl5(dioxane), 6a, have been ascertained by X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

The mixed-valence cluster compound V4IVV2VO7(OC2H5)12 was studied by X-band electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) in the temperature range of 4.2-293 K. According to X-ray diffraction study, the crystal structure of the compound was described by a R3m space group at 295 K (four d1 electrons are equally delocalized on all vanadium ions) and changed to a P21/n space group on cooling the crystals to 173 K (the electrons are preferably localized on the four equatorial vanadium ions). The EPR spectra originate from the S = 1 total spin states with the fine structure averaged to a single Lorentzian line and from the S = 2 total spin states with fine structure partly averaged in the temperature range of 295-200 K and well averaged below 45-50 K. The states of S = 1 and S = 2 of comparable energy (DeltaE approximately 2 cm(-1); ES=1 < ES=2) were shown to be the lowest ones. The VIV <--> VV unpaired electron transfers together with isotropic Heisenberg exchange were shown to determine the total spin states composition and the intracluster dynamics of the compound. Two types of electron transfers were assumed: the single-jump transfer leading to the averaged configurations of the V4IVV2V <--> V3IVVV VIVVV type and to the splitting of the total spin states by intervals comparable in magnitude with the isotropic exchange parameter J approximately 100 cm-1 and the double-jump transfer resulting in dynamics. Temperature dependence of the transition rates nutr was observed. In the range of 295-210 K, the value of nutr = (0.5-0.6) x 10(10) s(-1) is sufficient for averaging the fine structure of the S = 1 states, and below 45 K the value of nutr approximately 1.5 x 10(10) s(-1) also averages the fine structure of the S = 2 state. A change in the localization plane of the VIV ions in the temperature range of 40-50 K was discovered.  相似文献

X-ray and Vibrational Spectroscopical Investigation of the Mixed Crystal Series Cu3MxM′1-xX4 (M, M′ = V, Nb, Ta; X = S, Se) with Sulvanite Structure Solid solutions Cu3MxM′1-xX4 (M, M′ = V, Nb, Ta; X = S, Se) with Sulvanite structure have been prepared in the range 0 ≤ x ≤ 1 by solid state reaction between 600°C and 900°C. The lattice constants decrease linearly with x. The UR active antisymmetrical as well as the Raman active symmetrical M–X stretching vibrations may be attached to independently vibrating MX4 and M′X4 tetrahedrons.  相似文献

A method for the reversed-phase liquid chromatographic separation and determination of V(V), Nb(V) and Ta(V) as 2-(5-nitro-2-pyridylazo)-5 diethylaminophenol (5-NO2-PADAP) complexes is reported. The metal complexes were eluted in 9 min with a mobile phase of methanol-water (54 : 46, v/v) containing 10 mmol L–1 acetate buffer (pH 3.0) on an ODS column. The detection limits for V, Nb and Ta were 0.09, 0.13 and 1.41 ng mL–1, respectively, with S/N=3. The analysis of a reference sample of a mineral is discussed. The results corresponded to the certified values, and recoveries of 98.3–101.4% have been obtained.  相似文献

4-Amino-1,2,4-triazolium hexafluoridoniobate(V) and hexafluoridotantalate(V) (C2H5N4)MF6 (M = Nb, Ta) crystallizing in the monoclinic system (space group P21/n) are synthesized for the first time and their crystal structures and spectroscopic features are studied by single crystal X-ray diffraction and 1H and 19F NMR spectroscopy. The crystal structures of isostructural (C2H5N4)MF6 compounds are formed of octahedral complex [MF6] anions (M = Nb, Ta) and monoprotonated heterocyclic 4-amino-1,2,4-triazolium cations (C2H5N4)+ organized in a three-dimensional structure via N–H···F and N–H···N hydrogen bonds. The character and types of ion motions in the fluoride sublattice of (C2H5N4)MF6 are determined in a wide temperature range.  相似文献
