Using the spin wave approximation, we study the entanglement of a two-spin system in an antiferromagnetic environment. It is shown analytically that the concurrence of the two-spin system displays a Gaussian decay and depends on the quantum correlations and the structure of the environment. The relation between the concurrence and the environmental temperature is given explicitly.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the thermal entanglement of two-spin subsystems in an ensemble of coupled spin-half and spin-one triangular cells, (1/2, 1/2, 1/2), (1/2, 1, 1/2), (1, 1/2, 1) and (1, 1, 1) with the XXZ anisotropic Heisenberg model subjected to an external homogeneous magnetic field. We adopt the generalized concurrence as the measure of entanglement which is a good indicator of the thermal entanglement and the critical points in the mixed higher dimensional spin systems. We observe that in the near vicinity of the absolute zero, the concurrence measure is symmetric with respect to zero magnetic field and changes abruptly from a non-null to null value for a critical magnetic field that can be signature of a quantum phase transition at finite temperature. The analysis of concurrence versus temperature shows that there exists a critical temperature, that depends on the type of the interaction, i.e. ferromagnetic or antiferromagnetic, the anisotropy parameter and the strength of the magnetic field. Results show that the pairwise thermal entanglement depends on the third spin which affects the maximum value of the concurrence at absolute zero and at quantum critical points.  相似文献

We investigate the quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty relation (QMA-EUR) in a Heisenberg XYZ mixed-spin (1/2, 1) model. Coupling strength, Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction and inhomogeneous magnetic field, respectively, contributing to QMA-EUR by a thermal entanglement in the hybrid-spin model are studied in detail. Furthermore, we compare the uncertainty of the bipartite hybrid model with those of qubit-qubit and qutrit-qutrit systems. Meanwhile, the effects of local PT-symmetric operation and weak measurement on the steering of entropic uncertainty are analyzed. We find that the local PT-symmetric operation can reduce the entropic uncertainty, and the entropic uncertainty can also be decreased by weak measurement reversal.  相似文献

The entanglement properties of a three-spin X X Z Heisenberg chain with three-spin interaction are studied by means of concurrence of pairwise entanglement. We show that ground-state pairwise entanglement, pairwise thermal entanglement, or quantum phase transition is not present in antiferromagnetic spin chain. For the ferromagnetic case, quantum phase transition takes place at △ = 1 for anisotropic interaction and at some values of three-spin coupling strength, and pairwise thermal entanglement increases when the value of J/T increases and with anisotropic interaction and three-spin interaction decrease. In addition, we find that increasing the anisotropic interaction and the three-spin interaction will decrease critical temperature.  相似文献

The mixedness of the N-qubit quantum states with exchange symmetry has been studied, and the results show that the linear entropy of the single qubit reduced density matrix (RDM), which can describe the mixedness, is completely determined by the expectation values 〈Sz〉 and 〈S±〉 for both the pure and the mixed states. The mixedness of the pure states can be used to describe the bipartite entanglement, as an example we have calculated the mixedness of the Dicke state and the spin squeezed Kitagawa-Ueda state. For the mixed states, we determine the mixedness properties of both the ground states and the thermal states in mean-field clusters of spin-1/2 particles interacting via the anisotropy Heisenberg XXZ interaction, and found for the ferromagnetic case (J 〈 0), the mixedness will approximate to the pairwise entanglement when the anisotropic parameter △ 〉 △c.  相似文献

We consider a quantum many-body system made of N interacting S=1/2 spins on a lattice, and develop a formalism which allows to extract, out of conventional magnetic observables, the quantum probabilities for any selected spin pair to be in maximally entangled or factorized two-spin states. This result is used in order to capture the meaning of entanglement properties in terms of magnetic behavior. In particular, we consider the concurrence between two spins and show how its expression extracts information on the presence of bipartite entanglement out of the probability distributions relative to specific sets of two-spin quantum states. We apply the above findings to the antiferromagnetic Heisenberg model in a uniform magnetic field, both on a chain and on a two-leg ladder. Using Quantum Monte Carlo simulations, we obtain the above probability distributions and the associated entanglement, discussing their evolution under application of the field.  相似文献

We construct an entangled quantum heat engine (EQHE) based on two two-spin systems with Dzyaloshinski-Moriya (DM) anisotropic antisymmetric interaction. By applying the explanations of heat transferred and work performed at the quantum level in Kieu’s work [Phys. Rev. Lett. 93, 140403 (2004)], the basic thermodynamic quantities, i.e., heat transferred, net work done in a cycle and efficiency of EQHE are investigated in terms of DM interaction and concurrence. The validity of the second law of thermodynamics is confirmed in the entangled system. It is found that there is a same efficiency for both antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic cases, and the efficiency can be controlled in two manners: (1) only by spin-spin interaction J and DM interaction D; (2) only by the temperature T and concurrence C. In order to obtain a positive net work, we need not entangle all qubits in two two-spin systems and we only require the entanglement between qubits in a two-spin system not be zero. As the ratio of entanglement between qubits in two two-spin systems increases, the efficiency will approach infinitely the classical Carnot one. An interesting phenomenon is an abrupt transition of the efficiency when the entanglements between qubits in two two-spin systems are equal.  相似文献

We study quantum entanglement in a single-level quantum dot in the linear-response regime. The results show, that the maximal quantum value of the conductance 2e2/h not always match the maximal entanglement. The pairwise entanglement between the quantum dot and the nearest atom of the lead is also analyzed by utilizing the Wootters formula for charge and spin degrees of freedom separately. The coexistence of zero concurrence and the maximal conductance is observed for low values of the dot-lead hybridization. Moreover, the pairwise concurrence vanish simultaneously for charge and spin degrees of freedom, when the Kondo resonance is present in the system. The values of a Kondo temperature, corresponding to the zero-concurrence boundary, are also provided.  相似文献

We investigate the entanglement dynamics of two interacting qubits in a spin environment, which is described by an XY model with Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya (DM) interaction. The competing effects of environmental noise and interqubit coupling on entanglement generation for various system parameters are studied. We find that the entanglement generation is suppressed remarkably in weak-coupling region at quantum critical point (QCP). However, the suppression of the entanglement generation at QCP can be compensated both by increasing the DM interaction and by decreasing the anisotropy of the spin chain. Beyond the weak-coupling region, there exist resonance peaks of concurrence when the system-bath coupling equals to external magnetic field. We attribute the presence of resonance peaks to the flat band of the self-Hamiltonian. These peaks are highly sensitive to anisotropy parameter and DM interaction.  相似文献

Quantum entanglement is regarded as one of the core concepts, which is used to describe the nonclassical correlation between subsystems, and entropic uncertainty relation plays a vital role in quantum precision measurement. It is well known that entanglement of formation can be expressed by von Neumann entropy of subsystems for arbitrary pure states. An interesting question is naturally raised:is there any intrinsic correlation between the entropic uncertainty relation and quantum entanglement?Or if the relation can be applied to estimate the entanglement. In this work,we focus on exploring the complementary relation between quantum entanglement and the entropic uncertainty relation. The results show that there exists an inequality relation between both of them for an arbitrary two-qubit system, and specifically the larger uncertainty will induce the weaker entanglement of the probed system, and vice versa.Besides,we use randomly generated states as illustrations to verify our results. Therefore,we claim that our observations might offer and support the validity of using the entropy uncertainty relation to estimate quantum entanglement.  相似文献

The decoherence and the decay of quantum entanglement due to both population relaxation and thermal effects are investigated for the two qubits initially prepared in the extended Werner-like state by solving the Lindblad form of the master equation, where each qubit is interacting with an independent reservoir at finite temperature T. Entanglement sudden death (ESD) and entanglement sudden birth (ESB) are observed during the evolution process. We analyze in detail the effects of the mixedness, the degree of entanglement of the initial states and finite temperature on the time of entanglement sudden death and entanglement sudden birth. We also obtain an analytic formula for the steady state concurrence that shows its dependence on both the system parameters, the decoherence rate and finite temperature. These results arising from the combination of extended Werner-like initial state and independent thermal reservoirs suggest an approach to control the maximum possible concurrence even after the purity and finite temperature induce sudden birth, death and revival.  相似文献

Quantum speed limit and entanglement of a two-spin Heisenberg XYZ system in an inhomogeneous external magnetic field are investigated. The physical system studied is the excess electron spin in two adjacent quantum dots. The influences of magnetic field inhomogeneity as well as spin–orbit coupling are studied. Moreover, the spin interaction with surrounding magnetic environment is investigated as a non-Markovian process. The spin–orbit interaction provides two important features: the formation of entanglement when two qubits are initially in a separated state and the degradation and rebirth of the entanglement.  相似文献

This study explores the thermal quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty relation (QM-EUR) and entanglement in a general two-qubit XYZ-Heisenberg spin chain model in the presence of the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interaction. The characterization of y-component DM and spin–spin interactions are particularly focused. It is found that the DM and spin–spin interaction strengths highly regulate the flow behavior and the initial final levels of QM-EUR and entanglement. In comparison, the spin–spin interaction strength in the z-direction remains useful in both ferromagnetic and anti-ferromagnetic regimes for entropic uncertainty suppression and entanglement generation. Additionally, the negative and the positive y - $y\text{-}$ directed DM values can usefully turn classical states into resourceful quantum states. The dynamics of thermal QM-EUR and entanglement-of-formation have symmetric behaviors only with respect to y-component DM and z-component spin–spin interaction. Finally, different critical points of temperature, y - $y\text{-}$ component DM as well as spin–spin interaction are encountered, which should be opted to preserve quantum correlations and degrade uncertainty.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the entanglement of a two-spin system with Heisenberg exchange interaction in a quantized field. The pairwise entanglement between bipartite subsystems is obtained. It is shown that the entanglement exhibits a quantum phase transition due to the variation of exchang coupling. Phase diagrams are obtained explicitly. The analogy of the quantum phase transition compared to the case under a classical field are addressed.  相似文献

This paper investigates the entanglement dynamics of a Heisenberg XY model for a two-spin system in the presence of a nonuniform magnetic field. The master equations and the concurrence evolution equations for the initial α state are derived and analysed. It is shown that for the symmetric initial α state, only the nonuniform field can play a role in entanglement dynamics while the uniform field and the bath will not play such a role. For the asymmetric α state, the nonuniform field leads to the beat pattern oscillation of the concurrence evolution. The inhomogeneity of the field can enhance the entanglement by suppressing the decoherence effects of both the spin-orbit interaction and the spin bath.  相似文献

The ground state, magnetization scenario and the local bipartite quantum entanglement of a mixed spin-1/2 Ising–Heisenberg model in a magnetic field on planar lattices formed by identical corner-sharing bipyramidal plaquettes is examined by combining the exact analytical concept of generalized decoration-iteration mapping transformations with Monte Carlo simulations utilizing the Metropolis algorithm. The ground-state phase diagram of the model involves six different phases, namely, the standard ferrimagnetic phase, fully saturated phase, two unique quantum ferrimagnetic phases, and two macroscopically degenerate quantum ferrimagnetic phases with two chiral degrees of freedom of the Heisenberg triangular clusters. The diversity of ground-state spin arrangement is manifested themselves in seven different magnetization scenarios with one, two or three fractional plateaus whose values are determined by the number of corner-sharing plaquettes. The low-temperature values of the concurrence demonstrate that the bipartite quantum entanglement of the Heisenberg spins in quantum ferrimagnetic phases is field independent, but twice as strong if the Heisenberg spin arrangement is unique as it is two-fold degenerate.  相似文献

We consider the dynamics of quantum correlations of two coupled spin qubits with Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya (DM) interaction influenced by a local external magnetic field along the z-direction and coupled to bath spin- $\frac{1}{2}$ particles as independent non-Markovian environment. For this model, we calculate the entanglement measure of concurrence, quantum discord and quantum dissonance and find effects of DM interaction, bath-system coupling constant and temperature on the dynamics of quantum correlation. At last, we obtain the teleportation for this model by using fidelity and observe changes of DM interaction, bath-system coupling constant, temperature and magnetic field on fidelity.  相似文献

The dynamical characteristics of measurement's uncertainty are investigated under two modes of Dirac field in the Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger dilation space‐time. It shows that the Hawking effect induced by the thermal field would result in an expansion of the entropic uncertainty with increasing dilation‐parameter value, as the systemic quantum coherence reduces, reflecting that the Hawking effect could undermine the systemic coherence. Meanwhile, the intrinsic relationship between the uncertainty and quantum coherence is obtained, and it is revealed that the uncertainty's bound is anti‐correlated with the system's quantum coherence. Furthermore, it is illustrated that the systemic mixedness is correlated with the uncertainty to a large extent. Via the information flow theory, various correlations including quantum and classical aspects, which can be used to form a physical explanation on the relationship between the uncertainty and quantum coherence, are also analyzed. Additionally, this investigation is extended to the case of multi‐component measurement, and the applications of the entropic uncertainty relation are illustrated on entanglement criterion and quantum channel capacity. Lastly, it is declared that the measurement uncertainty can be quantitatively suppressed through optimal quantum weak measurement. These investigations might pave an avenue to understand the measurement's uncertainty in the curved space‐time.  相似文献
