This paper deals with the global exponential stability analysis problem for a general class of uncertain stochastic neural networks with mixed time delays and Markovian switching. The mixed time delays under consideration comprise both the discrete time-varying delays and the distributed time-delays. The main purpose of this paper is to establish easily verifiable conditions under which the delayed stochastic neural network is robustly exponentially stable in the mean square in the presence of parameters uncertainties, mixed time delays, and Markovian switching. By employing new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals and conducting stochastic analysis, a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach is developed to derive the criteria for the robust exponential stability, which can be readily checked by using some standard numerical packages such as the Matlab LMI Toolbox. The criteria derived are dependent on both the discrete time delay and distributed time delay, and, are therefore, less conservative. A simple example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed testing criteria. This paper is concerned with pth moment exponential stability of stochastic Cohen–Grossberg neural networks (SCGNN) with time-varying connection matrix and delays. With the help of Lyapunov function, stochastic analysis technique and the generalized Halanay inequality, a set of novel sufficient conditions on pth moment exponential stability for SCGNN is given. These results are helpful to design exponentially stable non-autonomous Cohen–Grossberg neural networks when stochastic effects are taken into consideration in practice. In this paper, the dynamics of a generalized two-neuron model with self-connections and distributed delays are investigated, together with the stability of the equilibrium. In particular, the conditions under which the Hopf bifurcation occurs at the equilibrium are obtained for the weak kernel. This means that a family of periodic solutions bifurcates from the equilibrium when the bifurcation parameter exceeds a critical value. Explicit algorithms for determining the stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions and the direction of the Hopf bifurcation are derived by using the theory of normal form and center manifold [20]. Some numerical simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the results found. In this paper, the asymptotic stability of neural networks with time varying delay is studied by using the nonsmooth analysis, Lyapunov functional method and linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique. It is noted that the proposed results do not require smoothness of the behaved function and activation function as well as boundedness of the activation function. Several sufficient conditions are presented to show the uniqueness and the global asymptotical stability of the equilibrium point. Also, a high-dimensional matrix condition to ensure the uniqueness and the global asymptotical stability of equilibrium point can be reduced to a low-dimensional condition. The obtained results are easy to apply and improve some earlier works. Finally, we give two simulations to justify the theoretical analysis in this paper. The coexisting periodic impacting motions and their multiplicity of a kind of dual component systems under harmonic excitation are analytically derived. The stability condition of a periodic impacting motion is given by analyzing the propagation of small, arbitrary perturbation from that motion. In numerical simulations, the periodic impacting motions are classified according to the system states before and after an impact. The numerical results show that there exist many types of vibro-impacts and the bifurcation of periodic vibro-impacts is not smooth. The behavior of a Mode-Ⅰinterface crack in piezoelectric materials was investigated under the assumptions that the effect of the crack surface overlapping very near the crack tips was negligible. By use of the Fourier transform, the problem can be solved with the help of two pairs of dual integral equations. To solve the dual integral equations, the jumps of the displacements across the crack surfaces were expanded in a series of Jacobi polynomials. It is found that the stress and the electric displacement singularities of the present interface crack solution are the same as ones of the ordinary crack in homogenous materials. The solution of the present paper can be returned to the exact solution when the upper half plane material is the same as the lower half plane material.  相似文献

In this work, sandwich beams are studied to reveal the underlying size effects of the periodic core cells for the first time within the framework of free vibration analysis of such an advanced lightweight structure. The energy equivalence method is formulated as a theoretical approach that takes into account the cell size effect. It is compared with the asymptotic homogenization method and direct finite element method systematically to show their consistence and applicability. The accuracy of free vibration responses predicted by the detailed finite element model is used as the standard of comparison. It is shown that the cell size is an important parameter characterizing the cellular core rigidities that influence vibration responses. The homogenization model agrees exactly with the asymptotic solution of the analytical expression of the beam model only whenever the cell size tends to be infinitely small.  相似文献

A cellular automaton (CA) model is proposed in this paper to analyze a bridge traffic bottleneck. The simulation results with this model show that there are several phase transitions in the traffic average density, velocity and flow for each lane under a periodic boundary condition. An unstable phase in the traffic average density and velocity for the upstream and downstream lanes of the bridge is shown in a range of initial traffic densities. By the application of the theory of complex functions, asymmetrical dynamic propagation problems on modeⅢinterface crack are studied. The universal representations of analytical solutions are obtained by the approaches of self-similar function. The problems researched can be facilely transformed into Riemann-Hilbert problems and analytical solution to an asymmetrical propagation crack under the condition of point loads and unit-step loads, respectively, is acquired. After those solutions were used by superposition theorem, the solutions of arbitrarily complex problems could be attained.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a stage-structured single species model with pulse input in a polluted environment. Using the discrete dynamical system determined by the stroboscopic map, we obtain the globally attractive condition for the species-extinction periodic solution of the investigated system. By the use of the theory of impulsive delayed differential equation, we also obtain sufficient condition of the permanence of the investigated system. Our results reveal that long mature period of the population in polluted environment can cause it to go extinct. A new system of the set-valued mixed quasi-variational-like inclusions (SSMQVLI) involving H-η-monotone operators is studied in general Banach spaces without uniform smoothness. By using the resolvent operator technique of H-η-monotone operators, a new iterative algorithm for finding approximate solutions to SSMQVLI is proposed. It is shown that the iterative sequences generated by the algorithm converge strongly to the exact solution of SSMQVLI under appropriate assumptions. A robust SEIR epidemic disease model with a profitless delay and verti- cal transmission is formulated,and the dynamics behaviors of the model under pulse vaccination are analyzed.By use of the discrete dynamical system determined by the stroboscopic map,an‘infection-free’periodic solution is obtained,further,it is shown that the‘infection-free’periodic solution is globally attractive when some parameters of the model are under appropriate conditions.Using the theory on delay functional and impulsive differential equatibn,the sufficient condition with time delay for the perma- nence of the system is obtained,and it is proved that time delays,pulse vaccination and vertical transmission can bring obvious effects on the dynamics behaviors of the model. The bifurcation dynamics of shallow arch which possesses initial deflection under periodic excitation for the case of 1∶2 internal resonance is studied in this paper. The whole parametric plane is divided into several different regions according to the types of motions; then the distribution of steady state motions of shallow arch on the plane of physical parameters is obtained. Combining with numerical method, the dynamics of the system in different regions, especially in the Hopf bifurcation region, is studied in detail. The rule of the mode interaction and the route to chaos of the system is also analysed at the end. The orthotropic mechanical sensor of piezoelectric composite material made from piezoelectric ceramic and resin materials and their sensing mechanism are presented. The sensing equations of the adhered-and embedded-type sensing units are deduced, which are used to detect the stresses in orthotropic material structures. The surface strain of the orthogonal plate is measured under the action of the planar stress field, and the error is analyzed.
