We give some integral representations of the form f(x) = P(f)+K(?f) on two-step Carnot groups, where P(f) is a polynomial and K is an integral operator with a specific singularity. We then obtain the weak Poincaré inequality and coercive estimates as well as the generalized Poincaré inequality on the general Carnot groups.  相似文献

Let X be a space of homogeneous type in the sense of Coifman and Weiss. In this paper, via a new Cotlar type inequality linking commutators and corresponding maximal operators, a weighted Lp(X) estimate with general weights and a weak type endpoint estimate with A1(X) weights are established for maximal operators corresponding to commutators of BMO(X) functions and singular integral operators with non-smooth kernels.  相似文献

In this paper, the norm of an integral operator (r>1) is obtained. Upper bounds are obtained for the heat content of an open set D with singular initial condition f on a complete Riemannian manifold, provided (i) the Dirichlet-Laplace-Beltrami operator satisfies a strong Hardy inequality, and (ii) f satisfies an integrability condition. Precise asymptotic results for the heat content are obtained for an open bounded and connected set D in Euclidean space with C2 boundary, and with initial condition f(x)=δ(x)α,0<α<2, where δ(x) is the distance from x to the boundary of D.  相似文献

We find sufficient conditions for log-convexity and log-concavity for the functions of the forms a?∑fkk(a)xk, a?∑fkΓ(a+k)xk and a?∑fkxk/k(a). The most useful examples of such functions are generalized hypergeometric functions. In particular, we generalize the Turán inequality for the confluent hypergeometric function recently proved by Barnard, Gordy and Richards and log-convexity results for the same function recently proved by Baricz. Besides, we establish a reverse inequality which complements naturally the inequality of Barnard, Gordy and Richards. Similar results are established for the Gauss and the generalized hypergeometric functions. A conjecture about monotonicity of a quotient of products of confluent hypergeometric functions is made.  相似文献

Detailed analysis shows that a function f admits the double Jordan-type inequality if and only if f is analytic and even. Associated with f is the function g with f(x)=g(x2). In this short note, based on this association, and using properties of absolutely and/or (completely) monotonic functions, we propose a concise method to derive the inequality from the coefficients in the Taylor’s series of f. We first prove a local weighted integral inequality for conjugate A-harmonic tensors. Then, as an application of our local result, we prove a global weighted integral inequality for conjugate A-harmonic tensors in Ls(μ)-averaging domains, which can be considered as a generalization of the classical result. Consider a nondegenerate Cn curve γ(t) in Rn, n?2, such as the curve γ0(t)=(t,t2,…,tn), tI, where I is an interval in R. We first prove a weighted Fourier restriction theorem for such curves, with a weight in a Wiener amalgam space, for the full range of exponents p, q, when I is a finite interval. Next, we obtain a generalization of this result to some related oscillatory integral operators. In particular, our results suggest that this is a quite general phenomenon which occurs, for instance, when the associated oscillatory integral operator acts on functions f with a fixed compact support. Finally, we prove an analogue, for the Fourier extension operator (i.e. the adjoint of the Fourier restriction operator), of the two-weight norm inequality of B. Muckenhoupt for the Fourier transform. Here I may be either finite or infinite. These results extend two results of J. Lakey on the plane to higher dimensions.  相似文献

For functions from the Lebesgue space L(?+), we introduce the modified strong dyadic integral J α and the fractional derivative D (α) of order α > 0. We establish criteria for their existence for a given function fL(?+). We find a countable set of eigenfunctions of the operators D (α) and J α, α > 0. We also prove the relations D (α)(J α(f)) = f and J α(D (α)(f)) = f under the condition that $\smallint _{\mathbb{R}_ + } f(x)dx = 0$ . We show the unboundedness of the linear operator $J_\alpha :L_{J_{_\alpha } } \to L(\mathbb{R}_ + )$ , where L J α is its natural domain of definition. A similar assertion is proved for the operator $D^{(\alpha )} :L_{D^{(\alpha )} } \to L(\mathbb{R}_ + )$ . Moreover, for a function fL(?+) and a given point x ∈ ?+, we introduce the modified dyadic derivative d (α)(f)(x) and the modified dyadic integral j α(f)(x). We prove the relations d (α)(J α(f))(x) = f(x) and j α(D (α)(f)) = f(x) at each dyadic Lebesgue point of the function f.  相似文献

Various properties of Jacobian elliptic functions can be put in a form that remains valid under permutation of the first three of the letters c, d, n, and s that are used in pairs to name the functions. In most cases 12 formulas are thereby replaced by three: one for the three names that end in s, one for the three that begin with s, and one for the six that do not involve s. The properties thus unified in the present paper are linear relations between squared functions (16 relations being replaced by five), differential equations, and indefinite integrals of odd powers of a single function. In the last case the unification entails the elementary function RC(x,y)=RF(x,y,y), where RF(x,y,z) is the symmetric elliptic integral of the first kind. Explicit expressions in terms of RC are given for integrals of first and third powers, and alternative expressions are given with RC replaced by inverse circular, inverse hyperbolic, or logarithmic functions. Three recurrence relations for integrals of odd powers hold also for integrals of even powers.  相似文献

We introduce a class of h-convex functions which generalize convex, s-convex, Godunova-Levin functions and P-functions. Namely, the h-convex function is defined as a non-negative function which satisfies f(αx+(1−α)y)?h(α)f(x)+h(1−α)f(y), where h is a non-negative function, α∈(0,1) and x,yJ.
