The densities, ρ, speeds of sound, u, and heat capacities, (C P)mix, for binary 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate (1) + cyclopentanone or cyclohexanone (2) mixtures within temperature range (293.15–308.15 K) and excess molar enthalpies, H E, at 298.15 K have been measured over the entire composition range. The excess molar volumes, V E, excess isentropic compressibilities, \( \kappa_{\text{S}}^{\text{E}}, \) and excess heat capacities, \( C_{\text{P}}^{\text{E}}, \) have been computed from the experimental results. The V E, \( \kappa_{\text{S}}^{\text{E}} \) , H E, and \( C_{\text{P}}^{\text{E}} \) values have been calculated and compared with calculated values from Graph theory. It has been observed that V E, \( \kappa_{\text{S}}^{\text{E}} \) , H E, and \( C_{\text{P}}^{\text{E}} \) values were predicted by Graph theory compare well with their experimental values. The V E, \( \kappa_{\text{S}}^{\text{E}}, \) and H E thermodynamic properties have also been analyzed in terms of Prigogine–Flory–Patterson theory.  相似文献

N-1-Naphthylethylenediamine dihydrochloride monomethanolate (N-NEDHME) was tested as a corrosion inhibitor for copper in 2 M HNO3 solution using the standard gravimetric technique at 303–343 K. N-NEDHME acts as an inhibitor for copper in an acidic medium. Inhibition efficiency increases with increase in concentration of N-NEDHME but decreases with a rise in temperature. Thermodynamic parameters such as adsorption heat ( $ \Updelta H_{\text{ads}}^\circ $ ), adsorption entropy ( $ \Updelta S_{\text{ads}}^\circ $ ) and adsorption free energy ( $ \Updelta G_{\text{ads}}^\circ $ ) were obtained from experimental data of the temperature studies of the inhibition process at five temperatures ranging from 303 to 343 K. Kinetic parameters activation such as $ E_{a} $ , $ \Updelta H_{\text{a}}^\circ $ , $ \Updelta S_{\text{a}}^\circ $ and pre-exponential factors have been calculated and are discussed. Adsorption of N-NEDHME on the copper surface in 2 M HNO3 follows the Langmuir isotherm model.  相似文献

Excess molar volumes V E, excess molar enthalpies H E, and speeds of sound u for 1-methyl pyrrolidin-2-one (1) + water or propan-1-ol or propan-2-ol (2) binary mixtures have been measured over the entire composition range (at 308.15 K) using a dilatometer, calorimeter and interferometer. Speeds of sound data, u, of (1 + 2) binary mixtures have been utilized to determine excess isentropic compressibilities, $ \kappa_{S}^{\text{E}} $ . The observed V E, H E and $ \kappa_{S}^{\text{E}} $ data have been analyzed in terms of (1) Graph theory (which involves the topology of the constituents of mixture), and (2) the Prigogine–Flory–Patterson theory. Analysis of V E data in terms of Graph theory suggests that 1-methyl pyrrolidin-2-one, water, propan-1-ol, and propan-2-ol exist as associated molecular entities. IR studies lend additional support to the proposed molecular entities in (1 + 2) mixtures. It has been observed that V E, H E and $ \kappa_{S}^{\text{E}} $ values predicted by Graph theory compare well with their corresponding experimental values.  相似文献

In the present work, the temperature dependence of heat capacity of dipotassium diiron(III) hexatitanium oxide has been measured for the first time in the range from 10 to 300 K by means of precision adiabatic vacuum calorimetry. The experimental data were used to calculate standard thermodynamic functions, namely the heat capacity $ C_{p}^{ \circ } (T) $ , enthalpy $ H^{ \circ } (T) - H^{ \circ } (0) $ , entropy $ S^{ \circ } (T) - S^{ \circ } (0), $ and Gibbs function $ G^{ \circ } (T) - H^{ \circ } (0) $ for the range from T → 0 to 300 K. The structure of K2Fe2Ti6O16 is refined by the Rietveld method: space group I4/m, Z = 1, a = 10.1344(2) Å, c = 2.97567(4) Å, V = 305.618(7) Å3. The high-temperature X-ray diffraction was used for the determination of coefficients of thermal expansion.  相似文献

Thermodynamic properties of γ-aminobutyric acid were studied in the temperature interval from 5.7 to 300 K using a vacuum adiabatic calorimeter. The curve C p (T) in the mentioned temperature interval is S-shaped without any anomalies. Based on the smoothed values of heat capacity, the calorimetric entropy $ S_{m}^{0} (T) - S_{m}^{0} (0) $ and the difference in the enthalpies $ H_{m}^{0} (T) - H_{m}^{0} (0) $ were calculated and tabulated. At the standard temperature 298.15 K, these values are equal to 158.1 ± 0.3 J K?1 mol?1 and 23020 ± 50 J mol?1, respectively. At temperatures from 5 to 10 K, the function C p (T) was found to obey the Debye law C = AT 3. Contrary to what has been supposed previously, the empirical Parks–Huffman rule for estimating entropy in the homologous series was shown to be not valid for the series glycine–β-alanine–γ-aminobutyric acid.  相似文献

Experimental densities (ρ) and ultrasonic sound velocities (u) for the binary mixtures of toluene, o-chlorotoluene, m-chlorotoluene, and p-chlorotoluene with 1-octanol were measured over the entire composition range at T = (298.15, 303.15, and 308.15) K and at a pressure of 0.1 MPa. Excess volumes (V E), isentropic compressibilities $ (\kappa_{\text{s}} ) $ , and excess isentropic compressibilities $ (\kappa_{\text{s}}^{\text{E}} ) $ were calculated using the measured experimental densities and ultrasonic sound velocities of the pure liquids and their mixtures. The experimental data were discussed in terms of intermolecular interactions between component molecules. The measured excess properties were correlated with the Redlich–Kister polynomial equation.  相似文献

Polycrystalline thorium(IV) phosphate-triphosphate, Th2(PO4)(P3O10) (1), was obtained by (NH4)2Th(PO4)2·H2O (2) heating from room temperature to 1,273 K. 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pn21 a (a = 11.6846(2) Å, b = 7.1746(1) Å, c = 12.9320(3) Å, Z = 4). Combining powder synchrotron X-ray diffraction data and DFT geometry optimization, a structural model is proposed for 1. The structure is built on ThO8 polyhedral chains along the b-axis. PO4 3? and P3O10 5? groups coexist in the structure and the latter group forms non-linear chains. Cohesion of the structure is made by the linkage of ThO8 chains by PO4 and P3O10 groups. Thermal transformation from 2 to 1 was monitored by thermogravimetric analysis (activation energy as a function of the extent of conversion was obtained from Kissinger–Akahira–Sunose (KAS) isoconversional method) and powder X-ray thermo-diffraction. For 2, the dehydration process takes place in two steps, with the apparition of a layered intermediate phase, (NH4)2Th(PO4)2·nH2O (0 < n < 1, d = 6.42 Å), previously to the formation of (NH4)2Th(PO4)2 (d = 6.31 Å). The condensation process produces an amorphous material that crystallizes to α-ThP2O7 (3) when the temperature increases. At 1,273 K, 3 slowly transforms to 1.  相似文献

The densities, ρ 12, and speeds of sound, u 12, of 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate (1) + N-methylformamide or N,N-dimethylformamide (2) binary mixtures at (293.15. 298.15. 303.15, 308.15 K), and excess molar enthalpies, $ H_{12}^{\text{E}} $ H 12 E , of the same mixtures at 298.15 K have been measured over the entire mole fraction range using a density and sound analyzer (Anton Paar DSA-5000) and a 2-drop microcalorimeter, respectively. Excess molar volume, $ V_{12}^{\text{E}} $ V 12 E , and excess isentropic compressibility, $ \left( {\kappa_{S}^{\text{E}} } \right)_{12} $ ( κ S E ) 12 , values have been calculated by utilizing the measured density and speed of sound data. The observed data have been analyzed in terms of: (i) Graph theory and (ii) the Prigogine–Flory–Patterson theory. Analysis of the $ V_{12}^{\text{E}} $ V 12 E data in terms of Graph theory suggest that: (i) in pure 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate, the tetrafluoroborate anion is positioned over the imidazoliun ring and there are interactions between the hydrogen atom of (C–H{edge}) and proton of the –CH3 group (imidazolium ring) with fluorine atoms of tetrafluoroborate anion, and (ii) (1 + 2) mixtures are characterized by ion–dipole interactions to form a 1:1 molecular complex. Further, the $ V_{12}^{\text{E}} $ V 12 E , $ H_{12}^{\text{E}} $ H 12 E and $ \left( {\kappa_{S}^{\text{E}} } \right)_{12} $ ( κ S E ) 12 values determined from Graph theory compare well with their measured experimental data.  相似文献

The phase diagram of the pyridine–iron(III) chloride system has been studied for the 223–423 K temperature and 0–56 mass-% concentration ranges using differential thermal analysis (DTA) and solubility techniques. A solid with the highest pyridine content formed in the system was found to be an already known clathrate compound, [FePy3Cl3]·Py. The clathrate melts incongruently at 346.9 ± 0.3 K with the destruction of the host complex: [FePy3Cl3]·Py(solid)=[FePy2Cl3](solid) + liquor. The thermal dissociation of the clathrate with the release of pyridine into the gaseous phase (TGA) occurs in a similar way: [FePy3Cl3]·Py(solid)=[FePy2Cl3](solid) + 2 Py(gas). Thermodynamic parameters of the clathrate dissociation have been determined from the dependence of the pyridine vapour pressure over the clathrate samples versus temperature (tensimetric method). The dependence experiences a change at 327 K indicating a polymorphous transformation occurring at this temperature. For the process ${1 \over 2}[\hbox{FePy}_{3}\hbox{Cl}_{3}]\cdot \hbox{Py}_{\rm (solid)} = {1 \over 2}[\hbox{FePy}_{2}\hbox{Cl}_{3}]_{\rm (solid)} + \hbox{Py}_{\rm (gas)}$ in the range 292–327 K, ΔH $^{0}_{298}$ =70.8 ± 0.8 kJ/mol, ΔS $^{0}_{298}$ =197 ± 3 J/(mol K), ΔG $^{0}_{298}$ =12.2 ± 0.1 kJ/mol; in the range 327–368 K, ΔH $^{0}_{298}$ =44.4 ± 1.3 kJ/mol, ΔS $^{0}_{298}$ =116 ± 4 J/(mol K), ΔG $^{0}_{298}$ =9.9 ± 0.3 kJ/mol.  相似文献

7-Hydroxycoumarin exhibits antioxidative, lipoxygenase inhibitive and anti-tumourigenic effects. Density and viscosity measurements have been carried out for the solutions of 7-hydroxycoumarin in mixture solvents of water and ethanol or 1-propanol at T = (293.15, 298.15, 303.15, 308.15 and 313.15) K. The measured data have been used to evaluate apparent molar volumes (V ? ), limiting apparent molar volumes ( $ V_{\phi }^{0} $ ), viscosity B-coefficients of the Jones–Dole equation and variation of B with temperature (dB/dT). The values of $ V_{\phi }^{0} $ and B-coefficients are positive and pass through their corresponding maxima at about 18 mol·kg?1 ethanol molality and 20 mol·kg?1 1-propanol molality, respectively. Besides, the values of $ V_{\phi }^{0} $ and B-coefficients decrease with increasing temperature. Molar refractive indices (R D) of the ternary solutions at the temperature of 298.15 K have also been determined from measured refractive indices (n D). There is an obvious increase of R D with increasing molality of the solvent. These parameters have been interpreted in terms of solute–solvent interactions and structure making/breaking ability of components in the aqueous solution. The temperature and concentration dependences of the weak interactions in the solution systems have also been discussed.  相似文献

The densities, ρ 123, and speeds of sound, u 123, of ternary o-toluidine (OT, 1) + tetrahydropyran (THP, 2) + pyridine (Py) or benzene or toluene (3) mixtures have been measured as a function of composition at 298.15, 303.15 and 308.15 K. Values of the excess molar volumes, $ V_{123}^{\text{E}} , $ and excess isentropic compressibilities, $ (\kappa_{\text{S}}^{\text{E}} )_{123} , $ of the studied mixtures have been determined by employing the measured experimental data. The observed thermodynamic properties were fitted with the Redlich–Kister equation to determine adjustable ternary parameters and standard deviations. The $ V_{123}^{\text{E}} $ and $ (\kappa_{\text{S}}^{\text{E}} )_{123} $ values were also analyzed in terms of Graph theory. It was observed that Graph theory correctly predicts the sign as well as magnitude of $ V_{123}^{\text{E}} $ and $ (\kappa_{\text{S}}^{\text{E}} )_{123} $ values of the investigated mixtures. Analysis of the data suggests strong interactions and a more close packed arrangement in OT (1) + THP (2) + Py (3) mixtures as compared to those of the OT (1) + THP (2) + benzene (3) or toluene (3) mixtures. This may be due to the presence of a nitrogen atom in Py which results in stronger interactions for the OT:THP molecular entity as compared to those with benzene or toluene.  相似文献

A mixed-valence Keggin-structural 12-molybdophosphoric acid hydrate, NH4(C4N2H12)(C2N2H10)2 [Mo 4 V Mo 8 VI PO40]·2H2O (1), has been synthesized hydrothermally and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, TG, XRD, IR, Raman, UV–Vis diffuse reflection spectrum and XPS spectrum. The compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system with cell parameters of a = 20.668(4) Å, b = 10.827(2) Å, c = 21.508(4) Å, β = 117.070(3)°, V = 4,285.6(14) Å3, and space group C 2/c, Z = 4 at 293 K. The final full-matrix least-squares refinement converged to R 1 = 0.029 for the observed reflections (4,721) with I > 2σ(I) and wR 2 = 0.065 for all data (4,837) and S = 1.048. Compared with another compound, (C4N2H12)(C2N2H10)2[Mo5P2O23] (2) (Chen et al., Chin J Struct Chem 30:1178, 2011), compound 1 was obtained via only changing molar ratio of reactants and the pH value of reaction system. Meanwhile, compound 1 contains the same two kinds of organonitrogen ligands, even their molar ratio, but entirely different space architecture and distinct heteropoly blue building block, [Mo 4 V Mo 8 VI PO40]7?. The crystal packing of 1 presents interesting 1D Zig-zag, 2D laminated and even 3D honeycomb-like configurations.  相似文献

The molecular structure and conformation of nitrobenzene has been reinvestigated by gas-phase electron diffraction (GED), combined analysis of GED and microwave (MW) spectroscopic data, and quantum chemical calculations. The equilibrium r e structure of nitrobenzene was determined by a joint analysis of the GED data and rotational constants taken from the literature. The necessary anharmonic vibrational corrections to the internuclear distances (r e ? r a) and to rotational constants (B e (i)  ? B 0 (i) ) were calculated from the B3LYP/cc-pVTZ quadratic and cubic force fields. A combined analysis of GED and MW data led to following structural parameters (r e) of planar nitrobenzene (the total estimated uncertainties are in parentheses): r(C–C)av = 1.391(3) Å, r(C–N) = 1.468(4) Å, r(N–O) = 1.223(2) Å, r(C–H)av = 1.071(3) Å, \({\angle}\)C2–C1–C6 = 123.5(6)°, \({\angle}\)C1–C2–C3 = 117.8(3)°, \({\angle}\)C2–C3–C4 = 120.3(3)°, \({\angle}\)C3–C4–C5 = 120.5(6)°, \({\angle}\)C–C–N = 118.2(3)°, \({\angle}\)C–N–O = 117.9(2)°, \({\angle}\)O–N–O = 124.2(4)°, \({\angle}\)(C–C–H)av = 120.6(20)°. These structural parameters reproduce the experimental B 0 (i) values within 0.05 MHz. The experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical calculations. The barrier height to internal rotation of nitro group, 4.1±1.0 kcal/mol, was estimated from the GED analysis using a dynamic model. The equilibrium structure was also calculated using the experimental rotational constants for nitrobenzene isotopomers and theoretical rotation–vibration interaction constants.  相似文献

An extracellular l-asparaginase produced by a protease-deficient isolate, Bacillus aryabhattai ITBHU02, was purified to homogeneity using ammonium sulfate fractionation and subsequent column chromatography on diethylaminoethyl-Sepharose fast flow and Seralose CL-6B. The enzyme was purified 68.9-fold with specific activity of 680.47 U mg?1. The molecular weight of the purified enzyme was approximately 38.8 kDa on SDS-PAGE and 155 kDa on native PAGE gel as well as gel filtration column revealing that the enzyme was a homotetramer. The optimum activity of purified l-asparaginase was achieved at pH 8.5 and temperature 40 °C. Kinetic studies depicted that the K m, V max, and k cat values of the enzyme were 0.257 mM, 1.537 U μg?1, and 993.93 s?1, respectively. Circular dichroism spectroscopy has showed that the enzyme belonged to α?+?β class of proteins with approximately 74 % α-helices and 12 % β-sheets. BLASTP analysis of N-terminal sequence K-T-I-I-E-A-V-P-E-L-K-K-I-A of purified l-asparaginase had shown maximum similarity with Bacillus megaterium DSM 319. In vitro cytotoxicity assays with HL60 and MOLT-4 cell lines indicated that the l-asparaginase has significant antineoplastic properties.  相似文献

Standard transfer Gibbs energies, $ \Updelta_{\text{tr}} G^{^\circ } $ , of a series of homologues α-amino acids have been evaluated by determining the solubility of glycine, alanine, amino butyric acid and norvaline gravimetrically at 298.15 K. Standard entropies of transfer, $ \Updelta_{\text{tr}} S^{^\circ } $ , of the amino acids have also been evaluated by extending the solubility measurement to five equidistant temperatures ranging from 288.15 to 308.15 K. The chemical contributions $ \Updelta_{\text{tr,ch}} G^{^\circ } (i) $ of α-amino acids, as obtained by subtracting theoretically computed contributions to $ \Updelta_{\text{tr}} G^{ \circ } $ due to cavity and dipole–dipole interaction effects from the corresponding experimental $ \Updelta_{\text{tr}} G^{ \circ } $ , are indicative of the superimposed effect of increased basicity and dispersion and decreased hydrophobic hydration (hbh) in DMF–water solvent mixtures as compared to those in water, while, in addition, $ T\Updelta_{\text{tr,ch}} S^{^\circ } (i) $ is guided by structural effects. The computed chemical transfer energies of the –CH2– group, $ \Updelta_{\text{tr,ch}} P^{^\circ } $ (–CH2–) [P = G or S] as obtained by subtracting the value of lower homologue from that of immediately higher homologue, are found to change with composition indicating involvement of several opposing factors in the calculation of the chemical interactions. The $ \Updelta_{\text{tr,ch}} G^{^\circ } $ (–CH2–) values are found to be guided by the decreased hydrophobic effect in DMF–water mixtures, and are indicative of the nature of the three dimensional structure of the aquo-organic solvent system around each solute.  相似文献

Density, ultrasonic velocity and isobaric heat capacity data have been used to study solvation parameters of aqueous solutions of NaCl, NaNO3, and KI. Using correct thermodynamic relations, quantitative solvation parameters have been determined at temperatures from 278.15 to 323.15 K: the hydration numbers h, the molar isentropic compressibilities of the solvation complexes $ \beta_{S,h} V_{h} , $ the volume V 1h , the coefficient of isentropic compressibility β 1h of water in the solvation shells of ions, and others. It has been shown that h is independent of the temperature in the range of the investigated conditions, $ \beta_{S,h} V_{h} $ is dependent both on the temperature and concentration, whereas the electrostriction compression in the vicinity of ions has a greater effect on its structure than that due to the mere change of pressure.  相似文献

Thermal analysis (TG/DTG/QMS), performed for [Sr(OS(CH3)2)6](ClO4)2 in a flow of argon and in temperature range of 295–585 K, indicated that the compound is completely stable up to ca. 363 K, and next starts to decompose slowly, and in the temperature at ca. 492 K looses four (CH3)2SO molecules per one formula unit. During further heating [Sr(DMSO)2](ClO4)2 melts and simultaneously decomposes with explosion. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurements performed in the temperature range of 93–370 K for [Sr(DMSO)6](ClO4)2 revealed existence of the following phase transitions: glass ? crystal phase Cr5 at T g  ≈ 164 K (235 K), phase Cr5 → phase Cr4 at $ T_{\text{c6}}^{\text{h}} $  ≈ 241 K, phase Cr4 → phase Cr3 at $ T_{\text{c5}}^{\text{h}} $  ≈ 255 K, phase Cr3 → phase Cr2 at $ T_{\text{c4}}^{\text{h}} $  ≈ 277 K, phase Cr2 ? phase Cr1 at $ T_{\text{c3}}^{\text{h}} $  ≈ 322 K and $ T_{\text{c3}}^{\text{c}} $  ≈ 314 K, phase Cr1 ? phase Rot2 at $ T_{\text{c2}}^{\text{h}} $  ≈ 327 K and $ T_{\text{c2}}^{\text{c}} $  ≈ 321 K and phase Rot2 ? phase Rot1 at $ T_{\text{c1}}^{\text{h}} $  ≈ 358 K and $ T_{\text{c1}}^{\text{c}} $  ≈ 347 K. Entropy changes values of the phase transitions at $ T_{\text{c1}}^{\text{h}} $ and $ T_{\text{c2}}^{\text{h}} $ (?S ≈ 79 and 24 J mol?1 K?1, respectively) indicated that phases Rot1 and Rot2 are substantially orientationally disordered. The solid phases (Cr1–Cr5) are more or less ordered phases (?S ≈ 7, 10, 4 and 3 J mol?1 K?1, respectively). Phase transitions in [Sr(DMSO)6](ClO4)2 were also examined by Fourier transform middle infrared spectroscopy (FT-MIR). The characteristic changes in the FT-MIR absorption spectra of the low- and high-temperature phases observed at the phase transition temperatures discovered by DSC allowed us to relate these phase transitions to the changes of the reorientational motions of DMSO ligands and/or to the crystal structure changes.  相似文献

The standard Gibbs energy of formation of tin tellurate, SnTe3O8(s) was determined from its vapour pressure measurements over the temperature range 973–1,158 K by employing thermogravimetry-based transpiration method. The temperature dependence of vapour pressure of TeO2 over the mixture SnTe3O8(s) + SnO2(s) generated by the incongruent vapourisation reaction, SnTe3O8(s) → SnO2(s) + 3 TeO2(g) could be represented as: log (p (TeO2, g)/Pa ± 0.03) = 13.943–14,181 (K/T) (973–1,158 K). The standard Gibbs energy of formation of SnTe3O8(s) was also determined by measuring the oxygen potential of SnO2(s)–Te(s)–SnTe3O8(s) phase mixture by the electromotive force method. Enthalpy increments of SnTe3O8(s) were determined by inverse drop calorimetric method in the temperature range 523–973 K. The thermodynamic functions, viz., heat capacity, entropy and free energy functions were derived from the measured values of enthalpy increments. A mean value of ?1,642 ± 2.0 kJ mol?1 was obtained for $ \Updelta_{\text{f}} H_{298}^{\circ } $ (SnTe3O8, s) by combining the value of Δf $ G^{\circ } $ (SnTe3O8, s) derived from vapour pressure data and the free energy functions derived from the drop calorimetric data.  相似文献

The density functional theory (DFT) calculations within the framework of generalized gradient approximation have been employed to systematically investigate the geometrical structures, stabilities, and electronic properties of Pd n Si q (n = 1–7 and q = 0, +1, ?1) clusters and compared them with the pure ${\text{Pd}}_{n + 1}^{q}$ (n = 1–7 and q = 0, +1, ?1) clusters for illustrating the effect of doping Si atom into palladium nanoclusters. The most stable configurations adopt a three-dimensional structure for both pure and Si-doped palladium clusters at n = 3–7. As a result of doping, the Pd n Si clusters adopt different geometries as compared to that of Pd n+1. A careful analysis of the binding energies per atom, fragmentation energies, second-order difference of energies, and HOMO–LUMO energy gaps as a function of cluster size shows that the clusters ${\text{Pd}}_{4}^{ + }$ , ${\text{Pd}}_{4}$ , ${\text{Pd}}_{8}^{ - }$ , ${\text{Pd}}_{5} {\text{Si}}^{0, + , - }$ , and ${\text{Pd}}_{7} {\text{Si}}^{0, + , - }$ possess relatively higher stability. There is enhancement in the stabilities of palladium frameworks due to doping with an impurity atom. In addition, the charge transfer has been analyzed to understand the effect of doped atom and compared further.  相似文献
