A simple and direct aerobic oxidative esterification reaction of arylacetonitriles with alcohols/phenols is achieved in the presence of a copper salt and molecular oxygen, which produces a broad range of aryl carboxylic acid esters in good to high yields. Copper salt plays multiple roles in the transformation, which allows the oxygenation of C? H bond, cleavage of inert C? C bond, and formation of C? O bond in one pot without the assistance of any of the acids, bases, ligands, and so on. The reaction provides a simple, direct, and efficient protocol towards functionalized esters, especially aryl benzoates, from readily available starting materials.  相似文献

Nucleophilic addition of trimethylsilyl esters of tricoordinate organophosphorus acids to various functionalized aldehydes with vinyl, aryl, and heterocyclic fragments is proposed as a convenient method for the synthesis of new 1‐trimethylsiloxysubstituted alkylphosphonites and their derivatives at mild conditions. Also the new functionalized derivatives of these phosphonites, including amino groups as well as certain properties of these compounds as important precursors of new functionalized 1‐hydroxyalkylorganophosphorus acids, are presented. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The alkylative carboxylation of ynamides and allenamides with CO2 and alkylzinc halides catalyzed by a copper catalyst was developed. A variety of alkylzinc halides bearing functional groups were used for this transformation to afford α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids, which contain the α,β-dehydroamino acid skeleton, introducing the corresponding alkyl group and CO2 across the carbon–carbon triple or double bond. This alkylative carboxylation formally consists of Cu-catalyzed carbozincation of ynamides or allenamides with alkylzinc halides and the subsequent nucleophilic carboxylation of the resulting alkenylzinc species with CO2. This protocol would be a useful method for the synthesis of α,β-dehydroamino acid derivatives possessing a functionalized alkyl group due to the high regio- and stereoselectivity, simple one-pot procedure as well as the use of CO2 as a starting material.  相似文献

The synthesis of complex alkyl boronic esters through conjunctive cross-coupling of vinyl boronic esters with carboxylic acids and aryl iodides is described. The reaction proceeds under mild metallaphotoredox conditions and involves an unprecedented decarboxylative radical addition/cross-coupling cascade of vinyl boronic esters. Excellent functional-group tolerance is displayed, and application of a range of carboxylic acids, including secondary α-amino acids, and aryl iodides provides efficient access to highly functionalized alkyl boronic esters. The decarboxylative conjunctive cross-coupling was also applied to the synthesis of sedum alkaloids.  相似文献

The development of versatile catalyst systems and new transformations for the utilization of carbon dioxide (CO2) is of great interest and significance. This Personal Account reviews our studies on the exploration of the reactions of CO2 with various substrates by the use of N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC)‐copper catalysts. The carboxylation of organoboron compounds gave access to a wide range of carboxylic acids with excellent functional group tolerance. The C?H bond carboxylation with CO2 emerged as a straightforward protocol for the preparation of a series of aromatic carboxylic esters and butenoates from simple substrates. The hydrosilylation of CO2 with hydrosilanes provided an efficient method for the synthesis of silyl formate on gram scale. The hydrogenative or alkylative carboxylation of alkynes, ynamides and allenamides yielded useful α,β‐unsaturated carboxylic acids and α,β‐dehydro amino acid esters. The boracarboxylation of alkynes or aldehydes afforded the novel lithium cyclic boralactone or boracarbonate products, respectively. The NHC‐copper catalysts generally featured excellent functional group compatibility, broad substrate scope, high efficiency, and high regio‐ and stereoselectivity. The unique electronic and steric properties of the NHC‐copper units also enabled the isolation and structural characterization of some key intermediates for better understanding of the catalytic reaction mechanisms.  相似文献

1,2,3-Triazol-5-ylidene copper(I) complexes (tzNHC-Cu) efficiently catalyzed the direct C-H carboxylation of benzoxazole and benzothiazole derivatives with CO(2) to give the corresponding esters in excellent yields after treatment with alkyl iodide. The tzNHC copper(I) complex, i.e., [(TPr)CuCl], worked somewhat more effectively than the corresponding imidazol-2-ylidene copper(I) complex [(IPr)CuCl] to give the carboxylation product in higher yields.  相似文献

Aryl azides undergo clean reduction by copper nanoparticles and ammonium formate in water. The surface hydrogen on copper nanoparticles is considered to be the active reducing species. A variety of functionalized aryl azides and aryl sulfonyl azides are reduced by this procedure to the corresponding amines with excellent chemoselectivity in high yields.  相似文献

Aryl carboxylic esters bearing disubstituted pyridine rings were synthesized starting with various pyridine mono- or dicarboxylic acids by means of reactions, principally, with phenolic compounds. Some of the pyridine monocarboxylates thus synthesized exhibited clear nematic phases at relatively low temperatures, whereas most of the 2,5-pyridine dicarboxylates bearing two benzene rings provided nematic phases, the ranges of which were some times wider and/or lower than those of the corresponding aryl esters bearing benzene rings alone.  相似文献

A new and simple one-pot procedure for the palladium-catalyzed intermolecular alpha-arylation of esters is described. A number of esters can be functionalized with a wide range of aryl bromides using Pd(OAc)(2) or Pd(2)(dba)(3) and bulky electron-rich o-biphenyl phosphines 1-3. Under the reaction conditions, using LiHMDS as base, alpha-arylation proceeds at room temperature or at 80 degrees C with very good yields and high selectivities for monoarylation. Important nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug derivatives such as (+/-)-naproxen tert-butyl ester and (+/-)-flurbiprofen tert-butyl ester can be prepared in 79% and 86% yield, respectively. The catalyst system based on the di-tert-butylphosphine (2) is also active for the alpha-arylation of esters using aryl chlorides. Furthermore, using (3) the alpha-arylation of trisubstituted ester enolates can be accomplished to provide compounds that have quaternary centers.  相似文献

The immobilization of copper in organic-inorganic hybrid materials catalyzing the Ullmann reaction has been described. Phenols reacted with aryl iodides, aryl bromides and aryl chlorides smoothly in the presence of a 3-(2-aminoethylamino)propyl functionalized silica gel immobilized copper catalyst. The protocol involved the use of DMSO as the solvent, and potassium fluoride as the base. The reactions generated the corresponding cross-coupling products in good to excellent yields. Furthermore, the silica-supported copper could be recovered and recycled by a simple filtration of the reaction solution and used for 10 consecutive trials without loss of its reactivity.  相似文献

Caught in the act: N-Heterocyclic carbene copper(I) complexes (1; IPr=1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene) serve as an excellent catalyst for the carboxylation of alkylboranes (2; R=alkyl) with CO(2) to afford a variety of functionalized carboxylic acids (3) in high yields. A novel copper methoxide/alkylborane adduct (A) and its subsequent CO(2) insertion product (B) have been isolated and shown to be true active catalyst species.  相似文献

A practical synthesis of α-haloaryl esters has been achieved via a chemoselective Negishi coupling of poly-halogenated aromatics and Reformatsky reagents in the presence of catalytic Pd(dba)2 and Xantphos. This chemistry tolerates a variety of aryl halides and was successfully applied to the synthesis of Ibuprofen. The α-haloaryl ester products, exemplified by ethyl 2-(4-bromo-2-chlorophenyl)acetate (3a), can be further functionalized via palladium or copper catalysis to afford an array of α-aryl esters.  相似文献

The reaction of 4-substituted phenols with 4-n-alkylcyclohexene-1-carbonyl chlorides, which differ in the position of their double bond in the ring, has yielded the corresponding esters. Investigation of their mesophoric properties including the electrooptic parameters of mixtures containing these compounds show that aryl esters of acids containing the double bond in the second position of the cyclohexene fragment are the most promising for use as components of liquid crystal mixtures.  相似文献

The palladium-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction has been investigated on meso-substituted trans-A2B-corrole using tailored Pd-catalyst systems.We present the first examples of Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions on meso-substituted trans-A2B-corrole derivatives with neutral, sterically hindered, inactivated and heteroaromatic boronic acids and esters, alkenylboronic acids, as well as quickly deboronating aryl boronic acids and benzo-condensated five membered heterocyclic boronic acids. In addition, we established a high-yield procedure for the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction of corroles with neutral boronic acids.Due to the lability of the free-base corrole macrocycles, functionalization of the corrole periphery was performed with the corresponding Cu-metallated species. meso-Substituted trans-A2B-corrole can hence be regarded as highly versatile platform towards more sophisticated corrole systems.X-ray structure analysis of a functionalized meso-substituted trans-A2B copper corrole exhibited the typical features of such a Cu-complex: short N-Cu distances and a saddled corrole configuration.Moreover, we observed a sensitivity of the formal oxidation state of the coordinated copper ions towards Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction conditions, where the central copper(III) ion approaches the characteristic features of a copper(II) species. This redox behaviour was examined by UV/vis absorption spectra, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments and time-dependent density functional theoretical calculations.  相似文献

The carbon-fluorine bond of a trifluoromethyl group attached to a π system can be activated by metallic magnesium in the system TMSCl-THF or DMF providing a variety of difluorinated compounds via a selective CF bond cleavage. Thus, trifluoromethyl ketones, α,β-unsaturated ketones, esters, imines, and aromatics can be transformed into the corresponding difluoroenol silyl ethers, enamines, and difluoro(trimethylsilyl)methyl aromatics in good to excellent yields, respectively. A highly reactive electrophilic bromodifluoromethylthiolating reagent, α‐cumyl bromodifluoro‐methanesulfenate 1 , was prepared to allow for direct bromodifluoromethylthiolation of aryl boron reagents. This coupling reaction takes place under copper catalysis, and affords a large range of bromodifluoromethylthiolated arenes. These compounds are amenable to various transformations including halogen exchange with [18F]KF/K222 , a process giving access to [18F]arylSCF3 in two steps from the corresponding aryl boronic pinacol esters.  相似文献

In order to gain a broad access to phosphinic acid derivatives, a palladium catalysed coupling reaction of aryl iodides with hypophosphorous acid derivatives has been developed on the solid phase. The resulting arylphosphorous acids (or esters) were derivatised using addition reactions with aldehydes, imines and isocyanates, to give phosphinic acids (or esters) with alpha-hydroxy, alpha-amino or aminoacyl groups attached to the aryl phosphorus moiety. This approach provided a broad chemical entry into a class of polar phosphinates compounds which were rather difficult to handle using normal solution phase synthesis. The synthetic potential of this solid phase based methodology was demonstrated by the synthesis of targeted libraries against the enzyme dihydrodipicolinate synthase (DHDPS).  相似文献
