We consider optimal pricing problems for a product that experiences network effects. Given a price, the sales quantity of the product arises as an equilibrium, which may not be unique. In contrast to previous studies that take a best-case view when there are multiple equilibrium sales quantities, we maximize the seller’s revenue assuming that the worst-case equilibrium quantity will arise in response to a chosen price. We compare the best- and worst-case solutions, and provide asymptotic analysis of revenues.  相似文献

基于空间竞争模型,通过图表和数量两种途径,比较了差异化竞争下商业银行采取不同价格策略时的相关情况.结果表明:采取不同的价格策略,商业银行的产品价格、利润、产量和社会福利呈现出不同的特征.在相同的差异化程度下,较之采取稳健型的价格策略,商业银行采取积极型价格策略时的利润和价格要高,但产量和单位距离单位消费者的社会福利额则要低.  相似文献

We consider a situation in which a manufacturer has to select the product(s) to sell as well as the selling price and production quantity of each selected product. There are two substitutable products in the consideration set, where product 2 has a higher quality and reservation price than that of product 1. By considering the cannibalization effect that depends on the selling price of each product, the manufacturer needs to evaluate the profit function associated with three different product line options: sell both products or only one of the 2 products. In order to examine the impact of costs, capacity, and competition on the optimal product line selection, optimal price, and optimal production quantity analytically, we present a stylized model in this paper so that we can determine the conditions under which a particular option is optimal.  相似文献

产品实施价格二部制的企业大量采用二级价格歧视、三级价格歧视方法外,还存在混合价格歧视.研究表明:企业收益最大化目标下实施这些价格歧视方法时,固定价格和从量价格的需求弹性、用户数、单位时间里的收益以及用户区间、资费区间分别需要满足不同的条件.这些结论为企业实施二部价格歧视提供了理论依据和决策参考.  相似文献

次贷危机呼吁新的信用衍生品定价模型, 因此为存在产品市场和资本市场的经济结构建立一般均衡的单名CDS定价模型, 使用最优化求解一般均衡下的商品价格和CDS价格. 可以发现一般均衡的CDS定价具有资本市场和产品市场的因素, 这表示CDS的价格不再是由单纯的资本市场因素决定的, 而是由无风险利率、资本产出弹性、违约率、回收率同时决定的. 通过数量约束用模拟的方式研究多个均衡的动态变化, 发现违约风险的增加使得价格剧烈波动且市场交易萎缩. 在为以中国工商银行为参考资产的CDS定价过程中, 发现各种因素在不同的时期都可能成为定价的主要影响因素. 可以发现, 次贷危机的定价体系存在着信用调整问题和定价与实体经济脱节的问题. 可以认为, 一般均衡下基于产品市场和资本市场的单名CDS定价可以囊括多个市场的交叉影响, 为衍生品定价提供一个新的方向.  相似文献

在随机需求条件下建立了由一个制造商和一个零售商所组成的闭环供应链差别定价模型。在制造商成本信息对称和信息不对称情况下,分别讨论了闭环供应链的最优差别定价问题,得到了在不同信息条件下的最优定价组合以及最优的订购量.最后通过数值算例分析了成本信息不对称对两种产品的零售价以及订购量的影响.  相似文献

基于收益共享契约协调的二级供应链, 在考虑市场竞争环境中需求转移为非线性的情况下,探讨供应商增加直销渠道的条件,并研究双渠道供应链中供应商在直销渠道上的最优定价,总的最优生产量及零售商的最优订货量,研究表明,在一定直销渠道建设成本范围内,供应商加入直销渠道会增加供应商以及供应链的总期望收益,但会减小零售商的期望收益.文中通过解析和数值分析指出,供应商采用网络收益共享契约可以减小零售渠道与直销渠道的冲突,提高系统收益,实现双渠道供应链的协调.  相似文献

针对供应商和零售商组成的农产品供应链,研究市场需求受到努力水平影响的农产品供应链协调问题.由于双重边际效应,分散式供应链中的最优生产数量低于集中式供应链的情况,零售商努力水平也相对较低.引入期权契约时,在零售商主导期权契约的供应链中,研究得到零售商的最优初始订货量和最优期权价格,以及供应商的最优生产数量,实现供应链协调.数值分析证实了期权契约有助于提高零售商的努力水平以及整个供应链的利润.  相似文献

针对市场需求的不确定性和供应商产出产品合格率的不确定性,提出供应商产出量小于销售商订购量时需再生产满足销售商的订购,以及供应商生产过量和回购的产品通过折扣市场出售,建立以供应链期望利润为目标函数,以回购单价为决策变量的供应链回购契约决策模型.通过模型的分析,证明了模型存在最优的期望利润,给出了最优回购单价满足的方程;同时,也证明了最优订购量,最优生产量和销售商最优期望利润是回购单价的增函数.最后,通过算例验证了模型的有效性.  相似文献

This paper considers the joint pricing and the lot-size determination problem faced by a retailer when he purchases a product for which the supplier offers incremental quantity discounts. Two common demand functions are considered: (1) the constant price-elasticity function, and (2) the linear function. 本文的目的就是针对一个由生产商和一个零售商构成的鲜活农产品供应链,在考虑损耗和新鲜度的影响下,研究数量折扣契约如何协调供应链应对突发事件。 首先,给出了正常情况下供应链协调模型;然后,在突发事件引起市场需求、零售商订货成本和产品运输时间同时扰动情况下,讨论了突发事件对集权、分权供应链的影响。 研究表明,集权供应链具有一定的鲁棒性,当突发事件造成市场需求、零售商订货成本和产品运输时间在一定范围内同时发生扰动时,其生产计划不需要调整,只需通过调整产品价格即可使集权供应链达到协调;对于分权供应链,根据三因素同时扰动的不同程度,通过调整数量折扣契约参数,可以实现对供应链的协调。 最后给出数值算例验证了相关结论。  相似文献

This paper studies the analytical and managerial implications of product substitutability on the joint pricing and procurement decisions. We consider a single-period model with two products: an existing product and an improved new product that can substitute the demand for the existing product in case of a shortage. Demand for each product follows a general distribution with an expected value that is a linear function of the price of the new product. While the price of the existing product is determined by the market, it is necessary to determine the new product’s price and the procurement quantities of both products so as to maximize the profits. We analytically show that the expected profit function is unimodal and in the existence of substitution: the expected total profit is higher; the optimal price and the safety stock of the new product are higher; and the optimal safety stock of the existing product is less. Using these properties an efficient algorithm is developed. We also provide a numerical analysis to demonstrate that considering substitution in advance could increase the profitability by 58% and the new product price by 5% while decreasing the total procurement quantity by 15%.  相似文献

Numerous studies have developed and compared lot-sizing procedures for finite-horizon dynamic demand, material requirements planning (MRP), environments when either no purchase discounts exist or for the case of all-units quantity discounts. This paper examines lot-sizing rules when product price schedules follow incremental quantity discounts. The optimal (non-discount) procedure and some traditional heuristic procedures are modified to incorporate incremental quantity discounts. We further modify two heuristics with a ‘look-ahead enhancement’ that performs very well under experimentation. Numerical tests revealed the overall best-performing heuristic in this study to be a modified ‘least-unit cost’ method with a look-ahead enhancement. That procedure produced an average cost penalty vs optimal of 0.26%.  相似文献

In this paper we study a dynamic two-player channel where the manufacturer controls the wholesale price and the investment in quality and the retailer chooses the retail price. We consider that the retail price affects both the demand and the perceived quality of the brand and that its variations contribute to the building of an internal reference price. One of the model’s distinctive features is that it accounts for the two meanings of price, i.e., its classical objective measure of the cost of acquiring a particular quantity of the product, and its subjective roles as an assessment of the quality of the product and an evaluation of gains or losses (deal vs. sacrifice) resulting from buying a “cheap” or an “expensive” product. This study considers a decentralized supply chain where a retailer has an opportunity to order a product from a supplier prior to the sales season to satisfy uncertain demand. The retailer provides trade credit to end customers and makes credit period and order quantity decisions to maximize profits. The end demand is both random and credit period-dependent. On the basis of the newsvendor model, this paper focuses on channel coordination when a retailer provides trade credit to end customers. When the supplier also provides trade credit to the retailer, we show that the traditional trade credit contract cannot coordinate the channel. Four composite contracts based on trade credit (trade credit cost sharing with buy back or quantity flexibility; modified trade credit with buy back or quantity flexibility) are provided to induce the retailer to make decisions while optimizing the channel profit. This paper shows that the retailer provides a longer credit period to its customers and orders a larger quantity from the supplier under the composite contracts. With these contracts, the profit sharing between both parties depends on the wholesale price (Pareto improvement) for the fixed retail price and the purchasing cost.  相似文献

Trade credit changes the inventory risk between supplier and retailer. This leads to failure in the coordination of the supply chain. Considering that the supplier bears the retailer’s inventory risk under the credit condition, in this paper, the contract is constructed by combining the risk compensation and quantity discount contract to re-coordinate the supply chain and analyze the contract. The results show that the contract can achieve voluntary supply chain coordination; and when the seller’s funds is within a certain range, the coordinate contract can perform in the form of the wholesale price contract, and the wholesale price is influenced by its own funds and product value. In the end, a numerical example is given to verify this conclusion.  相似文献
