Synthesis and mesomorphic properties of 4-(4-bromopropyloxy)-4’-(4-alkyloxybenzylidene)anilines

This article describes the preparation and liquid crystalline properties of a new homologous series of 4-（4-bromopropyloxy）-4’- （4-alkyloxybenzylidene）anilines in which the phenyl ring is armed by a bromopropyloxy chain.The thermal behavior and mesomorphic properties of the synthesized compounds were studied with particular attention given to the correlation between their phase transition temperatures and anisotropic change influenced by molecular structure.All the members displayed enantiotropic smectic phase except for the homologue with the longest alkyloxy chain(R = C₁₈H₃₇),exhibiting only monotropic characteristic. The presence of bromine atom from the propyloxy side chain is found to be capable of altering and influencing the mesomorphic properties.

从(4R)-羟基-(S)-脯氨酸合成4-取代脯氨酸

叙述了以(4R) 羟基 (S) 脯氨酸为原料进行的几种新型手性催化剂的简便合成方法. (4S) 苯氧基 (S) 脯氨酸 1a由N 乙氧羰基 (4R) 羟基 (S) 脯氨酸甲酯经Mitsunobu反应, C 4构型发生翻转, 水解后得到; (4R) 芳甲氧基 (S) 脯氨酸由N 叔丁氧羰基 (4R) 羟基 (S) 脯氨酸用ArCH2X醚化后脱去N 保护基得到, C 4构型不受影响.     

新型1-(4-氨基苯基)-4-(4-甲氧基苯基)哌嗪衍生物的合成

以二乙醇胺为原料,经溴化、环合、N-烷基化和还原4步反应制得关键中间体——4-[4-(4-甲氧基苯基)哌嗪-1-基]苯胺(4);4与酰氯经酰基化反应合成了11个新型的1-(4-氨基苯基)-4-(4-甲氧基苯基)哌嗪衍生物,其结构经1H NMR,FT-IR,ESI-MS和元素分析表征。     

Mesogenic 4-(ω-Hydroxyalkoxy)-4'-formylazobenzenes

Homologs from a series of 4-(-hydroxyalkoxy)-4'-formylbenzenes (C₂,C₃,C₄,C₆ ,C₈) were synthesized. All compounds obtained show properties of thermotropic nematic liquid crystals. The effect of the terminal hydroxy group of the end substituent on the mesomorphous properties of the compounds was analyzed.

2-(4-甲硫苯氧基)-3-(4-甲苯基)-4H-咪唑啉-4-酮衍生物的合成及杀菌活性(Ⅱ)

用烯基膦亚胺与4-甲苯基异氰酸酯、对甲硫苯酚的串联aza-Wittig反应合成了2-(4-甲硫基苯氧基)-3-(4-甲苯基)-4H-咪唑啉-4-酮衍生物.探讨了反应进行的条件和产物的波谱性质,提出了可能的环化反应机理.生成的环化产物均为新的化合物,其结构经元素分析、IR、1H NMR和MS确证.并探讨了所合成的新型杂环化合物的生物活性,结果表明部分化合物表现出良好的抑菌活性,其中3f的活性最好,在质量分数为5×10-5浓度时,对稻瘟菌和苹果轮纹菌的抑制率均达到100%.

Zusammenfassung Da bei Wiederholung der vonK. Eiter undMaria Nagy angegebenen Darstellung der Verbindung I diese in 59% iger Ausbeute erhalten werden konnte, wurde die Behauptung vonD. W. Ockenden undK. Schofield, wonach die Verbindung I nach unseren Angaben nicht herzustellen war, widerlegt.Weiters konnte bewiesen werden, daß eine vonSchofield undTheobald als 3-(Pyridyl-x)-lepidin bezeichnete Verbindung in Wirklichkeit die Verbindung I ist.

Low-temperature dynamics of (S)-4-(1-methylheptyloxy)-4ʹ-cyanobiphenyl (8*OCB) and (S)-4-(2-methylbutyl)-4ʹ-cyanobiphenyl (5*CB) in disordered crystalline and glassy phases

The inelastic neutron scattering (INS) spectra were measured for two materials of chiral molecules: (S)-4-(1-methylheptyloxy)-4?-cyanobiphenyl (8*OCB) and (S)-4-(2-methylbutyl)-4?-cyanobiphenyl (5*CB), revealing solid state polymorphism with two partially disordered crystalline phases I and II and glassy state of liquid and of crystalline phase in each substance. The experiments were performed in the energy range up to 30 µeV in the temperature range from 4 to 35 K. For 8*OCB the elastic scans were measured as well up to 300 K illustrating well the phase diagram. For all solid phases of both substances in the µeV range of INS spectra, the existence of the excess density of vibrational states over that typical for fully ordered crystalline phases was evidenced. Contribution of this so-called boson peak occurred to be much larger in glass of isotropic phase than in the phase II and glass of phase I of 8*OCB, while for 5*CB it was larger in the phase I and glass of phase II than in glass of cholesteric phase. The quasi-elastic broadening of elastic peak corresponding to stochastic reorientations in the ns time scale was detected for both substances. Comparison of the results obtained for glassy and crystalline phases of 8*OCB and 5*CB compounds have been given and confronted with those obtained previously in meV energy range.     

Supramolecular inclusion complexes of β-cyclodextrin with 4-(acyloxy)-4-(cyclopropylethynyl)-1-(2-ethoxyethyl)piperidines

4-Acyloxy-4-(cyclopropylethynyl)-1-(2-ethoxyethyl)piperidines have been synthesized by reaction of 1-(2-ethoxyethyl)piperidin-4-one with cyclopropylacetylene and subsequent acylation of intermediate 4-(cyclopropylethynyl)piperidin-4-ol. The resulting esters react with β-cyclodextrin to give supramolecular inclusion complexes. The complexation is accompanied by inclusion of the N-ethoxyethyl fragment of one substrate molecule in the inner cavity of one receptor molecule. The structure of 4-acyloxy-4-(cyclopropylethynyl-1-(2-ethoxyethyl)piperidines and their inclusion complexes with cyclodextrin has been studied by NMR spectroscopy.

Co(Ⅱ)-4-(2-吡啶偶氮)间苯二酚-聚乙二醇-(NH4)2SO4萃取体系的研究和应用

研究了Co(Ⅱ)-4-(2-吡啶偶氮)间苯二酚(PAR)-聚乙二醇(PEG)-(NH4)2SO4体系的萃取行为及最佳分相条件,建立了测定生物样品中微量钴的非有机溶剂萃取光度法。结果表明,在pH 8.6的六次甲基四胺缓冲溶液中,在(NH4)2SO4存在下,Co(Ⅱ)-PAR的络合物可被PEG相富集萃取。在PEG相中络合物的最大吸收波长为519 nm,表观摩尔吸光系数4.68×104L.mol-1.cm-1,钴量在0~1.8μg/mL范围内服从比尔定律。方法已用于粮食、茶叶等生物样品中痕量钴的测定,回收率97.2%~103%。     

Crystal Structure and Spectra Characters of 2-Benzoly-3-(4-(1,2,4-triazole)-5-anilino-thiophene and 2-(4-Methyl-benzoly)-3-(4- chlrolphenyl)-3-(1,2,4-triazole)-5-anilino-thiophene

Triazole derivatives are widely studied, because they represent the largest group of modern fungicides and are widely used both in human and veterinary therapy and in agriculture. We synthesized the title compound in which the thiophene ring was substituted by a 1,2,4-triazole group, a phenacyl group, a phenylaminol group and a benzene ring.     

Synthesis of 3-(2-(4-Chlorophenylimino)-3-(4-chlorophenyl)-2,3-dihydrothiazol-4-yl)-2 h-Chromen-2-one via Multicomponent Approach

A simple and highly efficient one-pot, three-component synthesis of 3-(2-(4-chlorophenylimino)-3-(4-chlorophenyl)-2,3-dihydrothiazol-4-yl)-2H-chromen-2-ones has been reported by the reaction of 3-(2-bromoacetyl)-2H-chromen-2-one, primary amines, and phenyl isothiocyanates in presence of dimethylformamide as a solvent. The structures of newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by their analytical and spectral data.
