A sol‐gel technique was used here to prepare a renewable carbon ceramic electrode modified with nickel powder. Cyclic voltammograms of the resulting modified electrode show stable and a well defined redox couple due to Ni(II)/Ni(III) system with surface confined characteristics. The modified electrode shows excellent catalytic activity toward L ‐cystine, L ‐cysteine and L ‐methionine oxidation at reduced overpotential in alkaline solutions. In addition the antifouling properties at the modified electrode toward the above analytes and their oxidation products increases the reproducibility of results. L ‐cystine, L ‐cysteine and L ‐methionine were determined chronoamperometricaly at the surface of this modified electrode at pH range 9–13. Under the optimized conditions the calibration curves are linear in the concentration range 1–450 μM, 2–90 μM and 0.2–75 μM for L ‐cystine, L ‐methionine and L ‐cysteine determination, respectively. The detection limit and sensitivity were 0.64 μM, 3.8 nA/ μM for L ‐cystine, 2 μM, 5.6 nA/ μM for L ‐methionine and 0.2 μM and 8.1 nA/μM for L ‐cysteine. The advantageous of this modified electrode is high response, good stability and reproducibility, excellent catalytic activity for oxidation inert molecules at reduced overpotential and possibility of regeneration of the electrode surface by potential cycling for 5 minutes. Furthermore, the modified electrode has been prepared without using specific reagents. This sensor can be used as an amperometric detector for disulfides detection in chromatographic or flow systems.  相似文献

Brilliant blue FCF‐modified glassy carbon electrodes have been prepared by cycling the Nafion (or poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDDAC)) coated electrodes repeatedly 15 cycles in brilliant blue FCF (BB FCF) dye solution. The BB FCF molecules are incorporated into Nafion coating by cycling the film‐covered electrode between +0.3 to 1.2 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) in pH 1.5 BB FCF solution while PDDAC‐coated electrode cycled between 0 to ?1.0 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) in pH 6.5 BB FCF solution to immobilize the dye. Electrostatic interaction between dye molecule and PDDAC was predominant in PDDAC coating whereas immobilization of dye in Nafion film attributed to the combined effect of electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions. The voltammetric features of BB FCF‐modified electrodes resemble that of surface‐confined redox couples. The peak potentials of BB FCF‐incorporated PDDAC‐coated electrode were shifted to more positive potential region with decreasing pH of contacting solution. BB FCF‐modified electrodes showed electrocatalytic activity towards reduction of oxygen and oxidation of L ‐cysteine with significant decease of overvoltage compared to unmodified electrode. The BB FCF‐modified Nafion‐coated electrode was tested for its analytical applications toward determination of L ‐cysteine. The linear range of calibration plot at BB FCF‐modified Nafion‐coated electrode is 10 to 100 μM, which coincides with L ‐cysteine levels in biological fluids. Sensitivity and detection limit of the electrode are 111 nA μM?1 and 0.5 μM, respectively.  相似文献

A glassy carbon (GC) electrode modified with silver pentacyanonitrosylferrate (AgPCNF) film as a redox mediator was fabricated. Cyclic voltammetry was used to study the redox property of AgPCNF modified electrode. The modified electrode showed a well‐defined redox couple due to [AgIFeIII/II(CN)5NO]1‐/2‐system. The effects of scan rates, supporting electrolytes and solution pHs were studied on the electrochemical behavior of the modified electrode. The feasibility of using the AgPCNF modified electrode to measure L ‐cysteine was investigated. It showed an excellent electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of L ‐cysteine and the anodic currents were proportional to the L ‐cysteine concentration in the range of 0.1 μM to 20 μM, the linear regression equation is Ipa(μA) = ‐68.58 ‐ 5.78CL ‐cysteine (μM), with a correlation coefficient 0.998 for N = 23. The detection limit was down to 3.5 × 10‐8 M (three times the ratio of signal to noise).  相似文献

An L ‐cysteine modified gold electrode for the determination of copper in the presence of various amounts of arsenic with anodic stripping voltammetry has been studied. The electrode was fabricated by immersing a gold electrode in an ethanol solution of 5mM L ‐cysteine for 60 min. Various parameters, such as the effect of different supporting electrolytes, the pH of the electrolyte and the deposition potential were investigated. Under optimum conditions, copper was accumulated at ?0.3 V (vs. SEC) for 60 s in 0.1 M phosphate buffer pH 5.0 in the presence of different amounts of arsenic. Essentially the same sensitivities (0.33±0.001 μA/μM) and limits of detection (0.13±0.002 μM) of copper were obtained with various amount of arsenic in the range 2 μM to 20 μM.  相似文献

The present work describes preparation of hemoglobin‐incorporated multiwalled carbon nanotubes‐poly‐L ‐lysine (MWCNT‐PLL)/Hb) composite modified electrode film modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) and its electrocatalytic behavior towards reduction of bromate ( ) in 0.1 M acetate buffer (pH 5.6). The modified electrode has been successfully fabricated by immobilizing hemoglobin on MWCNT dispersed in poly‐L ‐lysine. The surface morphologies of MWCNT, PLL and Hb were characterized using atomic force microscopy (AFM). The voltammetric features suggested that the charge transport through the film was fast and the electrochemical behavior resembles that of surface‐confined redox species. Cyclic voltammetry was used to investigate the electrocatalytic behavior of the modified electrode towards bromate and was compared with that of the CNT‐modified as well as bare electrode. The analytical determination of bromate has been carried out in stirred solution at an optimized potential with a sensitivity of 7.56 μA mM?1 and the calibration curve was linear between 1.5×0?5 to 6.0×0?3 M.  相似文献

An organic‐inorganic composite electrode was prepared by the sol‐gel method. For this purpose the carbon composite electrode (CCE) was modified with copper hexacyanoferrate (CuHCF). The CuHCF‐CCE was prepared by two methods. In one method CCE was prepared in one step and in another method the electrode was prepared in a two‐step process. The electrochemical behavior of the CuHCF modified electrode was studied by cyclic voltammetry; the modified electrode shows a pair of peaks with a surface‐confined characteristic in a 0.1 M phosphate buffer (pH 7) with K+ cation, as a supporting electrolyte. The CuHCF‐CCE showed electrocatalytic activity toward oxidation of Dopamine (DA). The kinetics of the catalytic reaction was investigated by using chronoamperometry. The average value of the rate constant for catalytic reaction and the diffusion coefficient were calculated. At a 0.85 V potential under hydrodynamic conditions (stirred solution), the oxidation current is proportional to the dopamine concentration, and the calibration plot was linear over the concentration range of 5‐85 μM.  相似文献

The graphene nanosheets/manganese oxide nanoparticles modified glassy carbon electrode (GC/GNSs/MnOx) was simply prepared by casting a thin film of GNSs on the GC electrode surface, followed by performing electrodeposition of MnOx at applied constant potential. The GC/GNSs/MnOx modified electrode shows high catalytic activity toward oxidation of L ‐cysteine. Hydrodynamic amperometry determination of L ‐cysteine gave linear responses over a concentration range up to 120 µM with a detection limit of 75 nM and sensitivity of 27 nA µM?1. The GC/GNSs/MnOx electrode appears to be a highly efficient platform for the development of sensitive, stable and reproducible L ‐cysteine electrochemical sensors.  相似文献

A modified electrode was fabricated by grafting of poly (2,6‐pyridinedicarboxylic acid) film (PDC) by electropolymerization of 2,6‐pyridinedicarboxylic acid on the glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Then, gold nanoparticles (NG) and 1,2‐naphthoquinone‐4‐sulfonic acid sodium (Nq) were immobilized on the PDC/GCE to prepare Nq/NG/PDC/GCE by immersing electrode into NG and Nq solution, respectively. The Nq species on NG/PDC/GCE could catalyze electrooxidation of N‐acetyl‐L ‐cysteine (NAC) with lowering the over potential by about 600 mV. This method used for detection of NAC in dynamic range from 4.0×10?6 M to 1.30×10?4 M with a detection of limit (2σ) 8.0×10?7 M.  相似文献

A novel modified carbon ceramic electrode (CCE ) containing [Ru(NH3)5 Cl](PF6)2 complex was fabricated by sol‐gel technique. The cyclic voltammograms of the modified electrodes show a well defined redox couple due to Ru(III)/Ru(II) system with surface confined characteristics. The stability of the modified CCE modified with ruthenium complex was checked over several days, obtaining reproducible results. Chlorate has been chosen as a model to elucidate the electrocatalytic ability of modified CCE. The modified electrode showed excellent electrocatalytic activity toward chlorate electroreduction in acidic medium. Chlorate was determined amperometrically at the surface of this modified electrode in pH 2 solution. Under the optimized conditions the calibration curve is linear in the concentration range 10 μM?5 mM chlorate. The detection limit and sensitivity are 1 μM and 0.43 nA/μM respectively. The advantages of the modified CCE is its good stability and reproducibility of surface renewal by simple polishing, excellent catalytic activity and simplicity of preparation. This sensor can be used as an amperometric detector in flow systems. or chromatographic instruments.  相似文献

A 1‐[2‐hydroxynaphthylazo]‐6‐nitro‐2‐naphthol‐4‐sulfonate/ CuO nanoparticles modified carbon paste electrode (HNNSCCPE) was constructed and the electro‐oxidation of isoprenaline at the surface of the modified electrode was studied using cyclic voltammetry (CV), chronoamperometry (CHA), and square wave voltammetry (SWV). Under the optimized conditions, the square wave voltammetric peak current of isoprenaline increased linearly with isoprenaline concentrations in the range of 1.0×10?7 to 7.0×10?4 M and detection limit of 5.0×10?8 M was obtained for isoprenaline. The prepared modified electrode exhibits a very good resolution between the voltammetric peaks of isoprenaline, acetaminophen and N‐acetyl‐L‐cysteine which makes it suitable for the detection of isoprenaline in the presence of acetaminophen and N‐acetyl‐L‐cysteine in real samples.  相似文献

Glassy carbon electrode modified with phosphotungstate‐doped‐glutaraldehyde‐cross‐linked poly‐L ‐lysine (PLL‐GA‐PW) film was employed for iodate determination. The PLL‐GA‐PW film electrode shows excellent electrocatalytic activity towards iodate reduction with significant reduction of overpotential. Under optimized experimental conditions, a linear range from 5×10?8 to 2.27×10?2 M with a sensitivity of 61.75 μA mM?1 was obtained. Possible interfering species, in iodate determination, were evaluated and the applicability of proposed sensor for iodate estimation in table salt was also demonstrated. The PLL‐GA‐PW film electrode shows fast response, wider linear range, and good selectivity and stability.  相似文献

The electrochemical behavior of L ‐cysteine studied at the surface of ferrocenedicarboxylic acid modified carbon paste electrode (FDCMCPE) in aqueous media using cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry and double potential step chronoamperometry. It has been found that under optimum condition (pH 8.00) in cyclic voltammetry, the oxidation of L ‐cysteine occurs at a potential about 200 mV less positive than that of an unmodified carbon paste electrode. The kinetic parameters such as electron transfer coefficient, α, and catalytic reaction rate constant, kh were also determined using electrochemical approaches. The electrocatalytic oxidation peak current of L ‐cysteine showed a linear dependent on the L ‐cysteine concentration and linear analytical curves were obtained in the ranges of 3.0×10?5 M–2.2×10?3 M and 1.5×10?5 M–3.2×10?3 M of L ‐cysteine concentration with cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) methods respectively. The detection limits (3σ) were determined as 2.6×10?5 M and 1.4×10?6 M by CV and DPV methods.  相似文献

This work describes the electrochemical properties of glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) modified with chromium(III) hexacyanoferrate(II) (Crhf) nanoparticles attached multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWNTs). The morphological characterization of Crhf/MWNTs nanocomposites was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV‐vis spectroscopy, and Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FT‐IR). The electrocatalytic activity of these nanocomposites was investigated and showed a good electrocatalytic effect for oxidation of L ‐cysteine (L ‐Cys) in 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution (pH 3.0). Under optimum conditions linear calibration graphs were obtained over the L ‐Cys concentration range 5.0×10?7 to 6.0×10?5 M with a correlation coefficient of 0.9998 and a detection limit (signal‐to‐noise ratio was 3) of 1.0×10?8 M. The proposed method is simple and it also showed excellent sensitivity and stability. The excellent electrocatalytic ability of the modified electrode towards L ‐Cys manifests that the Crhf/MWNTs can provide a new platform for biosensors and other biology.  相似文献

The electrochemical behavior of L ‐cysteine studied at the surface of ferrocenecarboxylic acid modified carbon paste electrode (FCMCPE) in aqueous media using cyclic voltammetry and double step potential chronoamperometry. It has been found that under optimum condition (pH 7.00) in cyclic voltammetry, the oxidation of L ‐cysteine is occurs at a potential about 580 mV less positive than that an unmodified carbon paste electrode. The kinetic parameters such as electron transfer coefficient, α and catalytic reaction rate constant, Kh were also determined using electrochemical approaches. The electrocatalytic oxidation peak current of L ‐cysteine showed a linear dependent on the L ‐cysteine concentration and linear calibration curves were obtained in the ranges of 10?5 M–10?3 M and 4.1×10?8 M–3.7×10?5 M of L ‐cysteine concentration with cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) methods respectively. The detection limits (2δ) were determined as 2.4×10?6 M and 2.5×10?8 M by CV and DPV methods. This method was also examined for determination of L ‐cysteine in some samples, such as Soya protein powder, serum of human blood by using recovery and standard addition methods.  相似文献

In this study, a sensitive nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) biosensor based on Au‐Copper oxide nanocomposite modified carbon ceramic electrode (Au?CuO/CCE) was introduced. The developed NADH biosensor was prepared by controlled electrodeposition of copper and Au nanoparticles on the surface of a renewable CCE and was turned to Au?CuO/CCE by cycling the potential in alkaline media. The prepared electrode was carefully characterized with scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy and cyclic voltammetry techniques. According to scan rate study, surface coverage (Γ) of the fabricated Au?CuO/CCE was calculated to be 1.54×10?8 mol cm?2 which was 3 time more than CuO/CCE. The fabricated electrode is well stable which could be reliably utilized for the determination of NADH with amperometry technique over the concentration range of 1–29 μM with sensitivity and detection limit (S/N=3) of 0.1025 μA μM?1 and 0.09 μM respectively. The prepared biosensor was used for NADH determination in serum samples with fast response time and satisfactory analytical results.  相似文献

The present work describes oxidation of ascorbic acid (AA) at octacyanomolybdate‐doped‐glutaraldehyde‐cross‐linked poly‐L ‐lysine (PLL‐GA‐Mo(CN) film modified glassy carbon electrode in 0.1 M H2SO4. The modified electrode has been successfully prepared by means of electrostatically trapping Mo(CN) mediator in the cationic film of glutaraldehyde‐cross‐linked poly‐L ‐lysine. The dependence of peak current of modified electrode in pure supporting indicates that the charge transfer in the film was a mixed process at low scan rates (5 to 200 mV s?1), and kinetically restrained at higher scan rates (200 to 1000 mV s?1). Cyclic voltammetry and rotating disk electrode (RDE) techniques are used to investigate the electrocatalytic oxidation of ascorbic acid and compared with its oxidation at bare and undoped PLL‐GA film coated electrodes. The rate constant of catalytic reaction k obtained from RDE analysis was found to be 9.5×105 cm3 mol?1 s?1. The analytical determination of ascorbic acid has been carried out using RDE technique over the physiological interest of ascorbic acid concentrations with a sensitivity of 75 μA mM?1. Amperometric estimation of AA in stirred solution shows a sensitivity of 15 μA mM?1 over the linear concentration range between 50 and 1200 μM. Interestingly, PLL‐GA‐Mo(CN) modified electrode facilitated the oxidation of ascorbic acid but not responded to other electroactive biomolecules such as dopamine, uric acid, NADH, glucose. This unique feature of PLL‐GA‐Mo(CN) modified electrode allowed for the development of a highly selective method for the determination of ascorbic acid in the presence of interferents.  相似文献

The surface of a gold (Au) disk electrode was modified with a self‐assembled monomolecular layer of dithiobis(4‐butylamino‐m‐phenylboronic acid) (DTBA‐PBA) to prepare L ‐lactate‐sensitive electrodes. The DTBA‐PBA‐modified electrodes exhibited an attenuated cyclic voltammogram (CV) for the Fe(CN)63? ion in the presence of L ‐lactate, as a result of the formation of phenylboronate ester of L ‐lactate accompanied with the addition of OH? ion to the boron atom. In other words, the negatively charged DTBA‐PBA monolayer blocked the electrode surface from the access of the Fe(CN)63?/4? ions. Thus, the DTBA‐PBA monolayer‐modified Au electrode can be used for determining L ‐lactate on the basis of the change in redox current of Fe(CN)63?/4? ions. The calibration graph useful for determining 1–30 mM L ‐lactate was obtained.  相似文献

This paper reports the fabrication of Au nanoparticles (Au NPs)‐Ni‐Al layerd double hydroxide (LDH) composite film by one step electrochemical deposition on the surface of a glass carbon electrode from the mixture solution containing HAuCl4 and nitrate salts of Ni2+ and Al3+. Improved conductivity was obtained by Au NPs codeposited on LDH film. The synergic effect of LDHs and Au NPs dramatically improves the performance of L ‐cysteine electro‐oxidation, displaying low oxidation peak potential (0.16 V) and high current response. Thus the electrode was used to sense L ‐cysteine, showing good sensitivity and selectivity.  相似文献

The electrochemical properties of L ‐cysteic acid studied at the surface of p‐bromanil (tetrabromo‐p‐benzoquinone) modified carbon paste electrode (BMCPE) in aqueous media by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and double step potential chronoamperometry. It has been found that under optimum condition (pH 7.00) in cyclic voltammetry, the oxidation of L ‐cysteic acid at the surface of BMCPE occurs at a half‐wave potential of p‐bromanil redox system (e.g., 100 mV vs. Ag|AgCl|KClsat), whereas, L ‐cysteic acid was electroinactive in the testing potential ranges at the surface of bare carbon paste electrode. The apparent diffusion coefficient of spiked p‐bromanil in paraffin oil was also determined by using the Cottrell equation. The electrocatalytic oxidation peak current of L ‐cysteic acid exhibits a linear dependency to its concentration in the ranges of 8.00×10?6 M–6.00×10?3 M and 5.2×10?7 M–1.0×10?5 M using CV and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) methods, respectively. The detection limits (2σ) were determined as 5.00×10?6 M and 4.00×10?7 M by CV and DPV methods. This method was used as a new, selective, rapid, simple, precise and suitable voltammetric method for determination of L ‐cysteic acid in serum of patient's blood with migraine disease.  相似文献
