A dinuclear nickel(II) complex, [Ni2(MOBPT)2(N3)4] · 2H2O (MOBPT = 4-(p-methoxyphenyl)-3,5-bis(pyridine-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole), has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, UV, IR, ESI-MS, and single crystal X-ray crystallography. The complex crystallizes in triclinic system, space group P 1 with a = 9.877(2) Å, b = 10.396(2) Å, c = 11.975(3) Å, α = 71.638(3)°, β = 74.968(3)°, γ = 64.747(3)°, V = 1044.2(4) Å3, Z = 1, R = 0.0371 for 5774 observed reflections. The crystal structure determination shows that the dinuclear Ni2N8 unit is almost planar with each Ni2+ coordinated by four nitrogens from two MOBPT ligands and two axial azides in a distorted octahedral geometry. Magnetic measurements reveal weak antiferromagnetic exchange in the complex.  相似文献

The reactions of 2-(2-pyridyl)benzothiazole (1) with MX2·nH2O salts (M = NiII, CoII, or CuII; X = Cl or ClO4; n = 0–2) in EtOH afforded the corresponding complexes. Depending on the nature of the counterion in the starting metal salt, the reactions give compounds of composition M(1)Cl2·nH2O or Cu(1)2(ClO4)2·H2O. The molecular and crystal structure of the CuII(1)2(ClO4)2·H2O complex was established by X-ray diffraction. The copper atom in this complex has a distorted tetragonal-pyramidal ligand environment and is coordinated by four nitrogen atoms of two ligand molecules and one water molecule. Electrochemical study of the ligand and the resulting complexes by cyclic voltammetry and at a rotating disk electrode demonstrated that ligand 1 stabilizes reduced forms of complexes containing Ni, Co, or Cu atoms in the oxidation state +1. Summary Reactions of glyoxal bis(morpholineN-thiohydrazone), H2gbmth, with NiCl2·6H2O, Ni(OAc)2·4H2O, Ni(acac)2· H2O, CuCl2·2H2O, Cu(OAc)2·H2O, Cu(acac)2, CoCl2· 6H2O, Co(OAc)2·4H2O and Co(acac)2·2H2O yield complexes of the type [M(gbmth)], [M=NiII, CuII or CoII]. Diacetyl reacts with morpholineN-thiohydrazide in the presence of nickel salts to yield [NiII(dbmth)], [NiII(dmth)(OAc)]H2O and [NiII(Hdmth)(NH3)Cl2] involving N2S2 and NSO donor ligands. Copper and cobalt complexes of N2S2 and NSO donor ligands with compositions [CuII(dbmth)], [CoII(dbmth)]·4H2O and [CoII(H2dbmth)]Cl2, have been isolated. The compounds have been characterised by elemental analyses, magnetic moments, molar conductance values and spectroscopic (electronic and infrared) data.  相似文献

The title complex comprises two Ni2+ ions, four fluorinated ligands and two water molecules in a centrosymmetric dinuclear complex. This compound was crystallized from benzene–CH2Cl2, and two types of crystals, viz. the title benzene tetrasolvate, [Ni2(C15HF10O2)4(H2O)2]·4C6H6, (I), and the previously reported benzene disolvate, [Ni2(C15HF10O2)4(H2O)2]·2C6H6, (II) [Hori et al. (2009). Bull. Chem. Soc. Jpn, 82 , 96–98], were obtained as pseudopolymorphs. In the crystal structure of (I), the four benzene solvent molecules interact closely with all the pentafluorophenyl groups of the complex through arene–perfluoroarene interactions. The molecular structures of the two compounds show essentially the same conformation, although the benzene molecules are accommodated in a columnar packing in (I), while they are isolated from each other in (II).  相似文献

Abstract  

Tridentate Schiff base ligands L1 and L2, derived from the condensation of 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde (L) with 2-aminoethanol or 2-aminobutan-1-ol, react with nickel chloride, azide, or thiocyanate to give rise to two dinuclear complexes of formulas [Ni2(L)(L1)2N3]·H2O (1), [Ni2(L2)31,1-N3)]·2H2O (2), and one tretranuclear complex [Ni2(L2)2(NCS)]2(C2H5OH)2 (3), where L1 = HOCH2CH(C2H5)NCHC6H3(O)(OCH3) and L2 = HO(CH2)2NCHC6H3(O)(OCH3). We have characterized these complexes by analytical, crystal structures, and variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements. The magnetic properties of the complexes are studied by magnetic susceptibility (χM) vs. temperature measurements. The χM T vs. T plots reveal that compounds 1, 2 and 3 are ferromagnetically coupled.  相似文献

A tetranuclear cubane-like cluster [Ni4(HL)4(DMSO)2]?·?2DMSO?·?H2O (1) and a dinuclear compound [Cu2Cl2(H2L)2]?·?1.5MeOH (2) (H3L?=?3-(2-hydroxy-benzylideneamino)propane-1,2-diol) have been prepared and characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction, IR, and elemental analysis. The X-ray diffraction analysis indicated that the four metals of 1 showed a Ni4O4 cubane arrangement, and two of the six faces of the Ni4O4 cubane were capped by DMSO. Complex 1 is the first reported DMSO capped Ni4O4 cubane cluster. Complex 2 contains a u 2-Cl bridged dinuclear core with each CuII ion exhibiting pseudo square pyramidal geometry.  相似文献

Polyol Metal Complexes. 491) μ‐Dulcitolato‐O2, 3;4, 5 Complexes with CuII(en) and NiII(tren) Metal Fragments The dinuclear ethylenediamine‐copper(II) complex of the tetra‐anion of the achiral alditol dulcitol (galactitol) is remarkable, since it was the first crystalline carbohydrate—metal complex ever reported (W. Traube, G. Glaubitt, V. Schenck, Ber. Dtsch. Chem. Ges. 1930 , 63, 2083—2093). Although its existence is recognized for many decades, its structure remained unknown due to a kind of crystal packing that promotes twinning. Crystal growth at low temperatures now yielded crystalline specimens of [(en)2Cu2(Dulc2, 3, 4, 5H—4)] · 7 H2O ( 1 ) that have allowed us to unravel both the crystal structure and the twinning law. Closely related molecular structures are adopted by [(tren)2Ni2(Dulc2, 3, 4, 5H—4)] · 20 H2O ( 2 ) and [(Me3tren)2Ni2(Dulc2, 3, 4, 5H—4)] · 16 H2O ( 3 ), the latter showing the shortest hydrogen bond towards a polyolate acceptor ever found (O···O distance: 2.422Å).  相似文献

The bimetallic complex of Ni2Co(TTHA)·12H2O (TTHA = triethylene tetraminehexaacetic acid) was synthesized and characterized structurally and magnetically. The title complex crystallizes in the triclinic space group P ī with a = 0.7316(2), b = 0.8624(2), c = 1.5041(4) nm; α = 73.38(2), β = 83.97(2), γ = 70.50(2)°. The crystal structure is built up of [Ni2(TTHA)(H2O)2]2−, Co(H2O)62+ and water molecules. A series of binuclear CoII, NiII, CuII and ZnII complexes having μ-1,2 diazine bridging have been prepared and characterized by various physico-chemical methods. The hexadentate ligands were synthesized by condensing 3,5-dichloroformyl-1H-pyrazole with 2-hydrazinobenzothiazole (L1H) or 4-aminoantipyrine (L2H) in 1:2 ratio. Gel electrophoresis data indicate cleavage of E. coli DNA to a minute extent by both [Co2L2(μ-Cl)Cl2(H2O)2]·H2O and [Ni2L2(μ-Cl)Cl2(H2O)2]. Conversely, the data for the remaining complexes indicated binding but not cleavage. These results were confirmed by viscosity measurements and absorption spectral studies. An intercalative binding mode is predicted when the title complexes interact with DNA.  相似文献

Novel oligonuclear complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) with 4-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,2,4-triazole (L) of the composition [M3L10(H2O)2](NO3)6 (M = Co(II), Ni(II)), [Ni3L6(H2O)6]Hal6 (Hal = Cl?, Br?), and [Cu5L16(H2O)2](NO3)10 · 2H2O were synthesized and studied by magnetic susceptibility, electronic and IR spectroscopy, and powder X-ray diffraction methods. All the above complexes are X-ray amorphous. Antifer-romagnetic exchange interactions between the M2+ ions were discovered in the [Co3L10(H2O)2](NO3)6 and [Ni3L10(H2O)2](NO3)6 complexes, whereas ferromagnetic exchange interactions were observed in the complexes [Ni3L6(H2O)6]Cl6, [Ni3L6(H2O)6]Br6, and [Cu5L16(H2O)2](NO3)10 · 2H2O.  相似文献

Three new phenolate oxygen bridged transition metal complexes [Zn3(HL1)33‐CH3O)]·(ClO4)2(H2O)3 ( 1 ), [Ni2(HL1)21,1‐N3)(o‐vanillin)]·H2O ( 2 ), [Ni3(HL2)2(PhCOO)2(PhCOOH)2(EtOH)2] ( 3 ) have been synthesized by metal ions and potentially multidentate Schiff base ligands (H2L1 = 2‐((1‐hydroxy‐2‐methylpropan‐2‐ylimino) methyl)‐6‐methoxyphenol; H3L2 = (E)‐1‐((2‐hydroxy‐3‐methoxy‐benzylidene)amino)ethane‐1,2‐diol). All the three complexes 1 , 2 , and 3 have been characterized by elemental analysis, FT‐IR spectroscopy, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies. Crystal structures reveal that complex 1 is a trinuclear incomplete cubane‐like zinc cluster whereas complex 2 is a dinuclear nickel complex bridged by azide, and compound 3 is a trinuclear nickel complex. The luminescent property for complex 1 and magnetic behaviors for complexes 2 and 3 have been investigated.  相似文献

Two coordination complexes, namely [Co(phen)(H2O)L]·H2O and [Ni2(phen)2(H2O)2L2]·4H2O (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, H2L = 1,3-adamantanedicarboxylic acid) have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. [Co(phen)(H2O)L]·H2O consists of 1D chains of the complex plus lattice H2O molecules. Interchain hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions assemble the 1D chains into 2D layers. [Ni2(phen)2(H2O)2L2]·4H2O is a binuclear complex which is assembled into a 3D supramolecular structure by strong hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions. Both complexes were characterized by physico-chemical and spectroscopic methods.  相似文献

The reaction of Schiff base 1,7-bis-(pyridin-2-yl)-2,6-diaza-1,6-heptadiene (L) with either NiCl2·6H2O or [PdIICl2(CH3CN)2]/Na[BF4] in 1?:?1 stoichiometry yielded mononuclear ionic complexes, trans-[NiII(L)(H2O)2]Cl2·3H2O (1·3H2O) and [PdII(L)][BF4]2 (2), respectively; the reaction of L with [PdIICl2(CH3CN)2] in 1?:?2 ratio yielded dinuclear cis-[PdII 2(μ-L)Cl4] (3). Complexes 1–3 were characterized by vibrational spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction; diamagnetic 2 and 3 were also characterized by NMR in solution. The molecular structures of 1 and 2 displayed tetradentate coordination of L with formation of two five-membered and one six-membered chelate rings for both complexes. In 3, L showed bidentate coordination mode for each pyridylimine toward PdII. Complex 1 has distorted octahedral geometry around NiII and an extended hydrogen-bond network; distorted square planar geometry around PdII in 2 and 3 was observed.  相似文献

Four new dinuclear complexes of the type [M2(cyclen)2(suc)]Cl2 · nH2O (M = Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, cyclen = 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane, suc = succinate) have been obtained by the reaction of cyclen and succinate with the corresponding metal dichlorides in aqueous solution. All the complexes were characterized by physico-chemical and spectroscopic methods. The crystal structure of [Ni2(cyclen)2(suc)]Cl2 · 2H2O was determined. The four complexes have similar compositions and structures and are all bridged by succinate. Furthermore, the hydrolysis of bis(2,4-dinitrophenyl)phosphate (BDNPP) promoted by the four complexes was studied. The experimental results indicate that these complexes can efficiently catalyze hydrolysis of BDNPP, and their catalytic activities are in the order Ni > Zn > Cu > Co.  相似文献

The triazenide, 1-[(2-carboxyethyl)benzene]-3-[2-pyridine]triazene (HL), has been synthesized. In the presence of Et3N, the reaction of HL with Cu(OAc)2·H2O or CuCl2·2H2O gives the tetranuclear copper(II) complexes {Cu4(L)22-OH)2(OAc)4} 1 and {Cu4L44-O)Cl2} 2, respectively. The X-ray crystal structures of both complexes have been obtained. Magnetic studies indicate significant antiferromagnetic coupling between the copper(II) centers for both complexes, with coupling constants (J) of −493.4 cm−1 for 1 and −165 cm−1 for 2.  相似文献

Summary The structure of the hexaazamacrobicycle, sarcophagine, (diAMMEsar)·2H2O, formed by extracting Co ion from the [Co(diAMMEsar H2)]Cl5·-H2O cage with 8-hydroxyquinoline, has been determined by elemental analysis, and i.r., u.v.-vis., 1H-n.m.r. and mass spectroscopies. Two octahedral complexes, [M(diAMM-EsarH2)]Cl4·2H2O (M = NiII or CuII), have been prepared and characterized. The e.s.r. spectrum of the CuII complex in the solid state indicates spin-exchange interaction between the CuII ions. However, in CD3OD-D2O (10%) at 77K, the spectrum is characteristic of a compound having axial symmetry (d x 2y 2).  相似文献

New dinuclear complexes of the types [Ni2(L)(H2O)2] and [Ni2(L)(H2O)6] [H4L = N,N′‐bis(carboxymethyl) dithiooxamide (H4GLYDTO), N,N′‐bis(1‐carboxyethyl) dithiooxamide (H4ALADTO), N,N′‐bis(1‐carboxy‐2‐methylpropyl) dithiooxamide (H4VALDTO) and N,N′‐bis(1‐carboxy‐3‐methylbutyl) dithiooxamide (H4LEUDTO)] have been prepared and characterized by IR and electronic absorption spectroscopy, and the structure of [Ni2(ALADTO)(H2O)6] crystals has been determined by single crystal X‐ray analysis. This compound is composed of discrete dinuclear units in which two NiII atoms with NO4S kernels are linked by a single [ALADTO]4– group that coordinates through its carboxylato oxygen, amino nitrogen and thiolato sulphur atoms. In each dimer unit the two nickel(II) ions in distorted octahedral coordination are separated by 5.863(2) Å The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of the new compounds was measured over the range 2 to 300 K. In the complexes of [GLYDTO]4– and [ALADTO]4– the two Ni atoms are antiferromagnetically coupled, with J = –23.51(4) and –20.95(8) cm–1, respectively. By constrast, [Ni2(VALDTO)(H2O)2], [Ni2(VALDTO)(H2O)6] and [Ni2(LEUDTO)(H2O)2] remain paramagnetic down to 2 K, with magnetic moment values between 2.8 and 3.3 M.B.  相似文献

A new heterometallic selenide-bridged 60-electron complex containing the cubane cluster fragment [M033-Se)4Pd] was prepared by heating a solution of [Mo3Se4(H2O)9]Cl4 and palladium black in 2M HCl. The cluster complex was isolated from aqueous solutions as a hydrolytically stable supramolecular adduct with macrocyclic cavitand cucurbituril. A method is developed to prepare a complex of copper(II) chloride with 3-(hydroxyiminomethyl)-5-(2,5-dimethylphenyl)isoxazole (L) of the composition [Cu2L2(μ-Cl)2Cl2]. Its molecular and crystal structure is determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Examination of the curve μef(T) within the 2-300 K temperature range reveals the presence of antiferromagnetic interactions between unpaired electrons of copper(II).  相似文献

Two pyrazole-based polydentate ligands, 1,3-bis(5-methyl-3-phenylpyrazol-1-yl)-propan-2-ol (Hmppzpo) and 1,3-bis(5-methyl-3-p-isopropylphenylpyrazol-1-yl)-propan-2-ol (Hmcpzpo), have been synthesized. A third ligand, 1,3-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-propan-2-ol (Hdmpzpo), has been synthetically modified. Seven new M(II) coordination compounds of general formula M2L2X2 (M?=?Zn, Ni; X?=?NO3 or ClO4; L?=?dmpzpo, mppzpo or mcpzpo) or MLX (M?=?Pd; L?=?dmpzpo; X?=?Cl) were synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis and FT-IR analysis. The crystal structures of [Zn2(μ-dmpzpo-O,N,N′)2(NO3)2]?·?2H2O (1?·?2H2O), [Ni2(μ-dmpzpo-O,N,N′)2(CH3CN)2](ClO4)2 (2) and Pd(μ-dmpzpo-N,N′)Cl2 (4) were determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The crystal structures show that complexes 1?·?2H2O and 2 are center-symmetric dinuclear compounds, with two metal ions bridged by two alkoxo groups and each metal ion with a distorted square-pyramidal environment. The palladium complex, 4, displayed square-planar coordination geometry around the Pd(II) ion with trans arrangement.  相似文献
