The structures of two ammonium salts of 3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonic acid (5‐sulfosalicylic acid, 5‐SSA) have been determined at 200 K. In the 1:1 hydrated salt, ammonium 3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate monohydrate, NH4+·C7H5O6S·H2O, (I), the 5‐SSA monoanions give two types of head‐to‐tail laterally linked cyclic hydrogen‐bonding associations, both with graph‐set R44(20). The first involves both carboxylic acid O—H...Owater and water O—H...Osulfonate hydrogen bonds at one end, and ammonium N—H...Osulfonate and N—H...Ocarboxy hydrogen bonds at the other. The second association is centrosymmetric, with end linkages through water O—H...Osulfonate hydrogen bonds. These conjoined units form stacks down c and are extended into a three‐dimensional framework structure through N—H...O and water O—H...O hydrogen bonds to sulfonate O‐atom acceptors. Anhydrous triammonium 3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate 3‐carboxylato‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate, 3NH4+·C7H4O6S2−·C7H5O6S, (II), is unusual, having both dianionic 5‐SSA2− and monoanionic 5‐SSA species. These are linked by a carboxylic acid O—H...O hydrogen bond and, together with the three ammonium cations (two on general sites and the third comprising two independent half‐cations lying on crystallographic twofold rotation axes), give a pseudo‐centrosymmetric asymmetric unit. Cation–anion hydrogen bonding within this layered unit involves a cyclic R33(8) association which, together with extensive peripheral N—H...O hydrogen bonding involving both sulfonate and carboxy/carboxylate acceptors, gives a three‐dimensional framework structure. This work further demonstrates the utility of the 5‐SSA monoanion for the generation of stable hydrogen‐bonded crystalline materials, and provides the structure of a dianionic 5‐SSA2− species of which there are only a few examples in the crystallographic literature.  相似文献

All three title compounds, C4H7N2+·C4H5O4, (I), C4H7N2+·C5H7O4, (II), and C4H7N2+·C6H9O4·H2O, (III), can be regarded as 1:1 organic salts. The dicarboxylic acids join through short acid bridges into infinite chains. Compound (I) crystallizes in the noncentrosymmetric Cmc21 space group and the asymmetric unit consists of a hydrogen succinate anion located on a mirror plane and a 2‐methylimidazolium cation disordered across the same mirror. The other two compounds crystallize in the triclinic P space group. The carboxylic acid H atom in (II) is disordered over both ends of the anion and sits on inversion centres between adjacent anions, forming symmetric short O...H...O bridges. Two independent anions in (III) sit across inversion centres, again with the carboxylic acid H atom disordered in short O...H...O bridges. The molecules in all three compounds are linked into two‐dimensional networks by combinations of imidazolium–carboxylate N+—H...O and carboxylate–carboxylate O—H...O hydrogen bonds. The two‐dimensional networks are further linked into three‐dimensional networks by C—H...O hydrogen bonds in (I) and by Owater—H...O hydrogen bonds in (III). According to the ΔpKa rule, such 1:1 types of organic salts can be expected unambiguously. However, a 2:1 type of organic salt may be more easily obtained in (II) and (III) than in (I).  相似文献

Cocrystallization of imidazole or 4‐methylimidazole with 2,2′‐dithiodibenzoic acid from methanol solution yields the title 2:1 and 1:1 organic salts, 2C3H5N2+·C14H10O4S22−, (I), and C4H7N2+·C14H10O4S2, (II), respectively. Compound (I) crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group with the mid‐point of the S—S bond lying on a twofold axis. The component ions in (I) are linked by intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds to form a two‐dimensional network, which is further linked by C—H...O hydrogen bonds into a three‐dimensional network. In contrast, by means of N—H...O, N—H...S and O—H...O hydrogen bonds, the component ions in (II) are linked into a tape and adjacent tapes are further linked by π–π, C—H...O and C—H...π interactions, resulting in a three‐dimensional network.  相似文献

The two title compounds of 2,2′‐biimidazole (Bim) with 5‐sulfosalicylic acid (5‐H2SSA) and 2,2′‐bibenzimidazole (Bbim) with 5‐H2SSA are 1:2 organic salts, viz. C6H8N42+·2C7H5O6S, (I), and C14H12N42+·2C7H5O6S·3H2O, (II). The cation of compound (I) lies on a centre of inversion, whereas that of (II) lies on a twofold axis. Whilst compound (I) is anhydrous, three water molecules are incorporated into the crystal structure of (II). The substitution of imidazole H atoms by other chemical groups may favour the incorporation of water molecules into the crystal structure. In both compounds, the component cations and anions adopt a homogeneous arrangement, forming alternating cation and anion layers which run parallel to the (001) plane in (I) and to the (100) plane in (II). By a combination of N—H...O, O—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonds, the ions in both compounds are linked into three‐dimensional networks. In addition, π–π interactions are observed between symmetry‐related benzene rings of Bbim2+ cations in (II).  相似文献

Both the 1:1 and 2:1 molecular adducts of 4‐methylimidazole (4‐MeIm) and terephthalic acid (H2TPA) are organic salts, viz. C4H7N2+·C8H5O4, (I), and 2C4H7N2+·C8H4O42−, (II), respectively. The component ions in (I) are linked by N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds into continuous two‐dimensional layers built from R64(32) hydrogen‐bond motifs running parallel to the (100) plane. These adjacent two‐dimensional layers are in turn linked by a combination of C—H...O, C—H...π and π–π interactions into a three‐dimensional network. In the crystal structure of (II), with the anion located on an inversion centre, only N—H...O hydrogen bonds result in two‐dimensional layers built from R88(42) hydrogen‐bond motifs running parallel to the (102) plane. Being similar to those in (I), these layers are also linked by means of C—H...O, C—H...π and π–π interactions, forming a three‐dimensional network. This study indicates that, on occasion, a change of the reactant concentration can exert a pivotal influence on the construction of supramolecular structures based on hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

5‐Sulfosalicylic acid (5‐SSA) and 3‐aminopyridine (3‐APy) crystallize in the same solvent system, resulting in two kinds of 1:1 proton‐transfer organic adduct, namely 3‐aminopyridinium 3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate monohydrate, C5H7N2+·C7H5O6S·H2O or 3‐APy·5‐SSA·H2O, (I), and the anhydrous adduct, C5H7N2+·C7H5O6S or 3‐APy·5‐SSA, (II). Both compounds have extensively hydrogen‐bonded three‐dimensional layered polymer structures, with interlayer homo‐ and heterogeneous π–π interactions in (I) and (II), respectively.  相似文献

The organic acid–base complex 1,1,3,3‐tetramethylguanidinium 4‐methylbenzenesulfonate, C5H14N3+·C7H7O3S, was obtained from the corresponding 1,1,3,3‐tetramethylguanidinium 4‐methylbenzenesulfinate complex, C5H14N3+·C7H7O2S, by solid‐state oxidation in air. Comparison of the two crystal structures reveals similar packing arrangements in the monoclinic space group P21/c, with centrosymmetric 2:2 tetramers being connected by four strong N—H...O=S hydrogen bonds between the imine N atoms of two 1,1,3,3‐tetramethylguanidinium bases and the O atoms of two acid molecules.  相似文献

In strychninium 4‐chlorobenzoate, C21H23N2O2+·C7H4ClO2, (I), and strychninium 4‐nitrobenzoate, C21H23N2O2+·C7H4NO4, (II), the strychninium cations form pillars stabilized by C—H⋯O and C—H⋯π hydrogen bonds. Channels between the pillars are occupied by anions linked to one another by C—H⋯π hydrogen bonds. The cations and anions are linked by ionic N—H+⋯O and C—H⋯X hydrogen bonds, where X = O, π and Cl in (I), and O and π in (II).  相似文献

The crystals of a new melaminium salt, 2,4,6‐triamino‐1,3,5‐triazine‐1,3‐diium bis(4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate) dihydrate, C3H8N62+·2C6H5O4S?·2H2O, are built up from doubly protonated melaminium(2+) residues, dissociated p‐phenolsulfonate anions and water molecules. The doubly protonated melaminium dication lies on a twofold axis. The hydroxyl group of the p‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate residue is roughly coplanar with the phenyl ring [dihedral angle 13 (2)°]. A combination of ionic and donor–acceptor hydrogen‐bond interactions link the melaminium and p‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate residues and the water molecules to form a three‐dimensional network.  相似文献

Two polymorphs of biphenyl‐4,4′‐diaminium bis(3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate) dihydrate, C12H14N22+·2C7H5O6S·2H2O, have been obtained and crystallographically characterized. Polymorph (I) crystallizes in the space group P21/c with Z′ = 2 and polymorph (II) in the space group P with Z′ = 0.5. The benzidinium cation in (II) is located on a crystallographic inversion centre. In both (I) and (II), the sulfonic acid H atoms are transferred to the benzidine N atoms, forming dihydrated 1:2 molecular adducts (base–acid). In the crystal packings of (I) and (II), the component ions are linked into three‐dimensional networks by combinations of X—H...O (X = O, N and C) hydrogen bonds. In addition, π–π interactions are observed in (I) between inversion‐related benzene rings [centroid–centroid distances = 3.632 (2) and 3.627 (2) Å]. In order to simplify the complex three‐dimensional networks in (I) and (II), we also give their rationalized topological analyses.  相似文献

The crystal structures of three proton‐transfer compounds of 5‐sulfosalicylic acid (3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonic acid) with 4‐X‐substituted anilines (X = F, Cl and Br), namely 4‐fluoroanilinium 5‐sulfosalicylate (3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate) monohydrate, C6H7FN+·C7H5O6S·H2O, (I), 4‐chloroanilinium 5‐sulfosalicylate hemihydrate, C6H7ClN+·C7H5O6S·0.5H2O, (II), and 4‐bromoanilinium 5‐sulfosalicylate monohydrate, C6H7BrN+·C7H5O6S·H2O, (III), have been determined. The asymmetric unit in (II) contains two formula units. All three compounds have three‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded polymeric structures in which both the water molecule and the carboxylic acid group are involved in structure extension. With both (II) and (III), which are structurally similar, the common cyclic (8) dimeric carboxylic acid association is present, whereas in (I), an unusual cyclic (8) association involving all three hetero‐species is found.  相似文献

The title compound, C6H9N2O2+·Cl·C6H8N2O2·H2O, contains one 2‐(3‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐3‐ium‐1‐yl)acetate inner salt molecule, one 1‐carboxymethyl‐3‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐3‐ium cation, one chloride ion and one water molecule. In the extended structure, chloride anions and water molecules are linked via O—H...Cl hydrogen bonds, forming an infinite one‐dimensional chain. The chloride anions are also linked by two weak C—H...Cl interactions to neighbouring methylene groups and imidazole rings. Two imidazolium moieties form a homoconjugated cation through a strong and asymmetric O—H...O hydrogen bond of 2.472 (2) Å. The IR spectrum shows a continuous D‐type absorption in the region below 1300 cm−1 and is different to that of 1‐carboxymethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium chloride [Xuan, Wang & Xue (2012). Spectrochim. The crystal structures of the proton‐transfer compounds of ferron (8‐hydroxy‐7‐iodoquinoline‐5‐sulfonic acid) with 4‐chloroaniline and 4‐bromoaniline, namely 4‐chloroanilinium 8‐hydroxy‐7‐iodoquinoline‐5‐sulfonate monohydrate, C6H7ClN+·C9H5INO4S·H2O, and 4‐bromoanilinium 8‐hydroxy‐7‐iodoquinoline‐5‐sulfonate monohydrate, C6H7BrN+·C9H5INO4S·H2O, have been determined. The compounds are isomorphous and comprise sheets of hydrogen‐bonded cations, anions and water molecules which are extended into a three‐dimensional framework structure through centrosymmetric R22(10) O—H...N hydrogen‐bonded ferron dimer interactions.  相似文献

Maleic acid and fumaric acid, the Z and E isomers of butenedioic acid, form 1:1 adducts with 2‐amino‐1,3‐thiazole, namely 2‐amino‐1,3‐thiazolium hydrogen maleate (2ATHM), C3H5N2S+·C4H3O4, and 2‐amino‐1,3‐thiazolium hydrogen fumarate (2ATHF), C3H5N2S+·C4H3O4, respectively. In both compounds, protonation of the ring N atom of the 2‐amino‐1,3‐thiazole and deprotonation of one of the carboxyl groups are observed. The asymmetric unit of 2ATHF contains three independent ion pairs. The hydrogen maleate ion of 2ATHM shows a short intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bond with an O...O distance of 2.4663 (19) Å. An extensive hydrogen‐bonded network is observed in both compounds, involving N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds. 2ATHM forms two‐dimensional sheets parallel to the ab plane, extending as independent parallel sheets along the c axis, whereas 2ATHF forms two‐dimensional zigzag layers parallel to the bc plane, extending as independent parallel layers along the a axis.  相似文献

The asymmetric unit of the optically resolved title salt, C8H12N+·C4H5O4S, contains a 1‐phenylethanaminium monocation and a thiomalate (3‐carboxy‐2‐sulfanylpropanoate) monoanion. The absolute configurations of the cation and the anion are determined to be S and R, respectively. In the crystal, cation–anion N—H...O hydrogen bonds, together with anion–anion O—H...O and S—H...O hydrogen bonds, construct a two‐dimensional supramolecular sheet parallel to the ab plane. The two‐dimensional sheet is linked with the upper and lower sheets through C—H...π interactions to stack along the c axis.  相似文献

The crystal structures of two salts, products of the reactions between [(5‐methyl‐2‐pyridyl)aminomethylene]bis(phosphonic acid) and 4‐aminopyridine or ammonia, namely bis(4‐aminopyridinium) hydrogen [(5‐methyl‐2‐pyridinio)aminomethylene]diphosphonate 2.4‐hydrate, 2C5H7N2+·C7H10N2O6P22−·2.4H2O, (I), and triammonium hydrogen [(5‐methyl‐2‐pyridyl)aminomethylene]diphosphonate monohydrate, 3NH4+·C7H9N2O6P23−·H2O, (II), have been determined. In (I), the Z configuration of the ring N—C and amino N—H bonds of the bisphosphonate dianion with respect to the Cring—Namino bond is consistent with that of the parent zwitterion. Removing the H atom from the pyridyl N atom results in the opposite E configuration of the bisphosphonate trianion in (II). Compound (I) exhibits a three‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded network, in which 4‐aminopyridinium cations and water molecules are joined to ribbons composed of anionic dimers linked by O—H...O and N—H...O hydrogen bonds. The supramolecular motif resulting from a combination of these three interactions is a common phenomenon in crystals of all of the Z‐isomeric zwitterions of 4‐ and 5‐substituted (2‐pyridylaminomethylene)bis(phosphonic acid)s studied to date. In (II), ammonium cations and water molecules are linked to chains of trianions, resulting in the formation of double layers.  相似文献

The title salts, 4‐chloroanilinium hydrogen phthalate (PCAHP), C6H7ClN+·C8H5O4, 2‐hydroxyanilinium hydrogen phthalate (2HAHP), C6H8NO+·C8H5O4, and 3‐hydroxyanilinium hydrogen phthalate (3HAHP), C6H8NO+·C8H5O4, all crystallize in the space group P21/c. The asymmetric unit of 2HAHP contains two independent ion pairs. The hydrogen phthalate ions of 2HAHP and 3HAHP show a short intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bond, with O...O distances ranging from 2.3832 (15) to 2.3860 (14) Å. N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds, together with short C—H...O contacts in PCAHP and 3HAHP, generate extended hydrogen‐bond networks. PCAHP forms a two‐dimensional supramolecular sheet extending in the (100) plane, whereas 2HAHP has a supramolecular chain running parallel to the [100] direction and 3HAHP has a two‐dimensional network extending parallel to the (001) plane.  相似文献

The title compound, C5H7N2+·C4H3O4, crystallizes in space group P21 with one ion pair in the asymmetric unit. The hydrogen maleate anion possesses nearly planar geometry and displays an extremely short intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bond, with an O...O distance of 2.4198 (19) Å. Classical N—H...O hydrogen bonds, together with short C—H...O contacts, generate an extensive hydrogen‐bonding network.  相似文献

In cytosinium succinate (systematic name: 4‐amino‐2‐oxo‐2,3‐dihydropyrimidin‐1‐ium 3‐carboxypropanoate), C4H6N3O+·C4H5O4, (I), the cytosinium cation forms one‐dimensional self‐assembling patterns by intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonding, while in cytosinium 4‐nitrobenzoate cytosine monohydrate [systematic name: 4‐amino‐2‐oxo‐2,3‐dihydropyrimidin‐1‐ium 4‐nitrobenzoate 4‐aminopyrimidin‐2(1H)‐one solvate monohydrate], C4H6N3O+·C7H4NO4·C4H5N3O·H2O, (II), the cytosinium–cytosine base pair, held together by triple hydrogen bonds, leads to one‐dimensional polymeric ribbons via double N—H...O hydrogen bonds. This study illustrates clearly the different alignment of cytosine molecules in the crystal packing and their ability to form supramolecular hydrogen‐bonded networks with the anions.  相似文献

Crystals of the title compound, 2C3H7N6+·C10H6O6S22−·C3H6N6·5H2O, are built up of neutral 2,4,6‐triamino‐1,3,5‐triazine (melamine), singly protonated melaminium cations, naphthalene‐1,5‐disulfonate dianions and water molecules. Two independent anions lie across centres of inversion in the space group P. The melamine molecules are connected by N—H...N hydrogen bonds into two different one‐dimensional polymers almost parallel to the (010) plane, forming a stacking structure along the b axis. The centrosymmetric naphthalene‐1,5‐disulfonate anions interact with water molecules via O—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming layers parallel to the (001) plane. The cations and anions are connected by N—H...O and O—H...N hydrogen bonds to form a three‐dimensional supramolecular framework.  相似文献
