The emission of a low-pressure helium plasma (P≤2 Torr) initiated by a monochromatic electron beam is investigated. It is found that an increase in the current leads to a drastic increase in the rate of charge exchange of doubly charged helium ions. The assumption is made that inelastic collisions of He++ ions with metastable helium atoms provide the main channel of charge exchange of these ions due to the reaction He+++Hem→ He+*+He 0 + .  相似文献

The existence of a metastable cluster He 4 * with total spin S = 2 is predicted. The cluster consists of two covalently bound excited spin-polarized triplet He 2 * molecules and is rectangular in shape. The electron wavefunctions, the dependence of the energy He 4 * system on the distance between the He 2 * triplet molecules, the atomic spacing, the frequency spectrum of natural oscillations of the cluster, and other characteristics are calculated from first principles. It is shown that the metastable state is formed if one of the excited He 2 * molecules is in the 3Σ u + state, while the other is in the 3Πg state. The radiation lifetime τ of the metastable cluster He 4 * is calculated; it is found to range from 100 to 200 s, which is much longer than the lifetime τ ≈ 20 s of the triplet molecule He 2 * (3Σ u + ). The height U ≈ 0.5 eV of the potential barrier preventing the departure from the local energy minimum is determined. The energy Eacc ≈ 9 eV/atom accumulated in the He 4 * cluster is calculated; this energy considerably exceeds the energy of known chemical energy carriers. It is shown that the accumulated energy is released virtually completely during decomposition of the He 4 * cluster into individual helium atoms. This means that helium clusters are a promising material with a high accumulated energy density (HEDM).  相似文献

Samples of opal + NaCl nanocomposites with 100 and 80% filling of first-order opal voids by sodium chloride have been prepared. Their effective thermal conductivities, κeff, were measured in the temperature interval 5–300 K. The lattice thermal conductivity of NaCl loaded in the opal voids, κ ph op , was calculated from the measured κeff(T). The value of ph was found to be considerably smaller than the lattice thermal conductivity of bulk NaCl throughout the temperature interval studied. For T>20 K, this behavior of κ ph op (T) is accounted for by the presence of specific defects that form in NaCl loaded in opal voids. For T<20 K, κ ph op (T) is governed by boundary phonon scattering from bottlenecks in horn-shaped channels interconnecting the octahedral and tetrahedral first-order opal voids filled by sodium chloride. It was found that the value of κ ph op (T) in this temperature region depends substantially on the dimensions of the bottlenecks, whose thicknesses are related to the amount of the cristobalite forming in a near-surface layer of the amorphous SiO2 opal spheres in the course of preparation of the opal + NaCl nanocomposite.  相似文献

The effects caused by vapor inhomogeneity over liquid helium are considered. Both pure isotopes have surface levels, whose population increases with temperature T. We separated their contribution to the temperature dependence of surface tension σ3(T) and σ4(T) and compared our theoretical results with the results of Japanese experimental works [1–3]. For liquid He3, one has σ3(T)=σ3(0)?σ 3 T2 at 0.2 K<T<1 K and σ3(T)=σ3(0)?α 3 0 T2exp(?Δ3/T) at T<0.2 K, with Δ3≈0.25 K. For liquid He4, σ4(T)=σ4(0)?AT7/3? α 4 0 T2exp(?Δ4/T) at T<2 K, where A is the Atkins constant and Δ4≈4 K. The parameters α 3 0 , α 3 , and α 4 0 depend on the fluid properties.  相似文献

The astrophysical S-factor of the reaction T(4He, γ)7Li is measured for the first time at the center of mass energy E cm = 15.7 keV, lower than the energy range of the Standard Big Bang Nucleosynthesis (SBBN) model. The experiment is performed on a Hall pulsed accelerator (TPU, Tomsk). An acceleration pulse length of 10 μs allows one to suppress the background of cosmic radiation and the ambient medium by five orders of magnitude. A beam intensity of ~ 5 × 1014 4He+ ions per pulse allows one to measure an extremely low reaction yield. The yield of γ-quanta with the energies E γ 0 = 2483.7 keV and E γ 1 = 2006.1 keV is registered by NaI(Tl) detectors with the efficiency ε = 0.331 ± 0.026. A method for direct measurement of the background from the chain of reactions T(4He, 4He)T→T(T, 2n)X→(n, γ) and/or (n, n′γ) which ends by neutron activation of materials surrounding the target is proposed and implemented in this study. The value of the astrophysical S-factor of the reaction T(4He, γ)7Li S αt (E cm = 15.7 keV) = 0.091 ± 0.032 keV b provides the choice from the set of experimental data for the astrophysical S αt -factor in favor of experimental data [4] with S αt (E cm = 0) = 0.1067 ± 0.0064 keV b.  相似文献

Samples of the opal + HgSe nanocomposite with 100% filling of the first-order opal pores by mercury selenide were prepared. The effective thermal conductivity κeff and electrical resistivity ρeff were measured in the temperature range T=5–200 K, and the thermopower coefficient α was measured in the interval 80–300 K. The coefficient α of HgSe in opal was shown to remain the same as that in bulk mercury selenide samples with similar carrier concentrations. The mechanism of carrier scattering in the HgSe loaded in opal also did not change. The total thermal conductivity κ tot 0 and electrical resistivity ρ0 were isolated from κeff and ρeff, and the electronic (κ e 0 ) and lattice (κ ph 0 ) components of thermal conductivity of HgSe in opal were determined. The magnitude of κ ph 0 was found to be considerably smaller than κph of bulk HgSe with the same carrier concentration throughout the temperature interval studied (5–200 K). For T>20 K, this behavior of κ ph 0 (T) is accounted for by the presence of specific impurities and defects forming in HgSe, and for T<20 K, by the onset of boundary scattering of phonons in the bottlenecks of the horn-shaped channels connecting first-order octahedral and tetrahedral opal pores loaded by mercury selenide.  相似文献

The population of excited states of the hydrogen atom in an afterglow plasma produced by a pulsed discharge in helium (40 Torr) with a small admixture of hydrogen ([H2] ≈ 1012 cm?3) has been studied spectroscopically. The contribution from electron-ion recombination Γ 3 rec to the production rate of atoms H(n = 3) has been separated. On the basis of an experiment in which the response of the spectral line intensities to the perturbation of the electron temperature in the afterglow phase was observed, the dependence Γ 3 rec (T e T e ?(0.9–1.0) has been obtained in the region kT e = 0.026–0.064 eV.  相似文献

Fermionic and weak decays of the scalar leptoquarks S = S 1 (+) , S 1 (?) , and S m and the scalar gluons F = F 1 and F 2 predicted by the minimal model involving four-color symmetry and the Higgs mechanism of quark-and lepton-mass splitting are considered. The widths and the branching ratios are calculated for these decays, and the results are analyzed versus the couplings and masses of decaying particles. It is shown that, at relatively small mass splittings Δm within scalar doublets (Δm < m W), the fermionic decays S 1 (+) tl j + , S 1 (?) v i \(\tilde b\), S mt \(\tilde \nu \) j, F 1t \(\tilde b\), and F 2t \(\tilde t\), which are characterized by few-GeV widths for m S, m F < 1 TeV and decay branching ratios close to unity, are dominant, but that, for Δm > m W, the weak decays SS′W and FF’W compete with the above fermionic decays. In the case of m S < m t, the processes S 1 (+) cl j + , S 1 (?) v i \(\tilde b\), S mbl j + , and S mc \(\tilde \nu \) j, whose total branching ratios are Br(S 1 (+) cl +) ≈ Br(S 1 (?) v \(\tilde b\)) ≈ 1, Br(S mbl +) ≈ 0.9, and Br(S mc \(\tilde \nu \)) ≈ 0.1, appear to be dominant decays of scalar leptoquarks. Searches for these decays at LHC and the Tevatron are of interest.  相似文献

A recurrence procedure for a sequential construction of kernels \(G_{{l_1},{l_2}}^l\) (c, c1, c2) appearing upon the expansion of a nonlinear collision integral of the Boltzmann equation in spherical harmonics is developed. The starting kernel for this procedure is kernel G0,00 (c, c1, c2) of the collision integral for the distribution function isotropic with respect to the velocities. Using the recurrence procedure, a set of kernels \(G_{{l_1},{l_2}}^{ + l}\) (c, c1, c2) for a gas consisting of hard spheres and Maxwellian molecules is constructed. It is shown that the resultant kernels exhibit similarity and symmetry properties and satisfy the relations following from the conservation laws.  相似文献

The rate Λ S of nuclear muon capture by a proton from the hyperfine singlet ground state of the µp atom has been measured using a new experimental method based on a time-projection chamber operating in an ultrapure hydrogen gas at a pressure of 10 atm. The capture rate has been determined from the difference between the measured lifetime of the negative muon in hydrogen and the world average lifetime of the positive muon. The analysis of 10% of the collected statistics (2 × 1010) of µe decays yields the muon capture rate Λ S = 725.0 ± 17.4 s?1, from which the pseudoscalar form factor of the nucleon, g P (q c 2 = ?0.88m µ 2 ) = 7.3 ± 1.1, is determined. The further analysis of the collected experimental data should improve the precision of this measurement by a factor of 3.  相似文献

Our present investigation is inspired by the recent interesting extensions (by Srivastava et al. [35]) of a pair of the Mellin–Barnes type contour integral representations of their incomplete generalized hypergeometric functions p γ q and p Γ q by means of the incomplete gamma functions γ(s, x) and Γ(s, x). Here, in this sequel, we introduce a family of the relatively more general incomplete H-functions γ p,q m,n (z) and Γ p,q m,n (z) as well as their such special cases as the incomplete Fox-Wright generalized hypergeometric functions p Ψ q (γ) [z] and p Ψ q (Γ) [z]. The main object of this paper is to study and investigate several interesting properties of these incomplete H-functions, including (for example) decomposition and reduction formulas, derivative formulas, various integral transforms, computational representations, and so on. We apply some substantially general Riemann–Liouville and Weyl type fractional integral operators to each of these incomplete H-functions. We indicate the easilyderivable extensions of the results presented here that hold for the corresponding incomplete \(\overline H \)-functions as well. Potential applications of many of these incomplete special functions involving (for example) probability theory are also indicated.  相似文献

The Λ 7 He hypernucleus is considered within the Λ 5 He + n + n cluster model. The hyperon—nucleon interaction is described by a one-boson-exchange potential that is constructed on the basis of the NSC97f model. Phenomenological potentials are used to describe the αΛ and αN interactions. For the Λ 5 Hen interaction, use is made of the folding-model potential. The calculations of the hyperon binding energy in the ground state of the Λ 7 He hypernucleus on the basis of Faddeev equations in configuration space yield a result (5.35 MeV) that agrees well with preliminary experimental data (5.4 MeV). The problem of calculating the hyperon binding energy within the three-body approach is discussed. In calculating the energy spectrum of Λ 7 He, use is made of a version of the method of analytic continuation in the coupling constant. Low-lying excited states of this nucleus can be classified as an analog of the corresponding states of the 6He nucleus with allowance for the clustering of the Λ 5 He+n+n system in the 6He(J π)+Λ(s) form.  相似文献

Lattice vibrations of the wurtzite-type AIN have been studied by Raman spectroscopy under high-pressure up to the phase transition to the rock salt structure at 20 GPa. Five fundamental bands E 2 2 , A1(TO), E1(TO), A1(LO), and E1(LO) have a strong, positive pressure shift, whereas the shift of the low-frequency E 2 1 band is weakly positive. We have found that the bond-bending mode has a positive mode Grüneisen parameter γi = 0.04, which is qualitatively consistent with the recently reported value γi = 0.12 [21]. Thus, we confirm that AIN remains stable with respect to the bond-bending mode, while in most tetrahedral semiconductors, bond-bending modes soften on compression. Experimental results are compared with the first-principle calculations.  相似文献

Recently, a new dark energy model called ΛHDE was proposed. In this model, dark energy consists of two parts: cosmological constant Λ and holographic dark energy(HDE). Two key parameters of this model are the fractional density of cosmological constant ?_(Λ0), and the dimensionless HDE parameter c. Since these two parameters determine the dynamical properties of DE and the destiny of universe, it is important to study the impacts of different values of ?_(Λ0) and c on the ΛHDE model. In this paper,we apply various DE diagnostic tools to diagnose ΛHDE models with different values of ?_(Λ0) and c; these tools include statefinder hierarchy{S_3~(1), S_4~(1)}, fractional growth parameter ?, and composite null diagnostic(CND), which is a combination of{S_3~(1), S_4~(1)}and ?. We find that:(1) adopting different values of ?_(Λ0) only has quantitative impacts on the evolution of the ΛHDE model, while adopting different c has qualitative impacts;(2) compared with S_3~(1), S_4~(1) can give larger differences among the cosmic evolutions of the ΛHDE model associated with different ?_(Λ0) or different c;(3) compared with the case of using a single diagnostic, adopting a CND pair has much stronger ability to diagnose the ΛHDE model.  相似文献

The stability of m 1 + m 2 + m 3 ? m 4 ? Coulomb systems formed by particles of unit charge against dissociation is considered as a function of the particle mass. It is shown that, from the stability of the m 1 + m 2 + m 3 ? three-particle system, it follows that the m 1 + m 2 + m 3 ? m 4 ? four-particle system containing an additional particle of mass satisfying the condition m 4 ? ? m 3 ? is stable. The results of calculations of the stability domain for m 1 + m 2 + m 3 ? systems asymmetric in particle masses are reported. The stability of 39 asymmetric exotic four-particle molecules and mesic molecules against dissociation is established.  相似文献

Thin films of partially deuterated betaine phosphate have been grown by the evaporation on Al2O3(110) and NdGaO3(001) substrates with a preliminarily deposited structure of interdigitated electrodes. The grown films have a polycrystalline block structure with characteristic dimensions of blocks of the order of 0.1–1.5 mm. The degree of deuteration of the films D varies in the range of 20–50%. It has been found that, at the antiferroelectric phase transition temperature Tcafe = 100–114 K, the fabricated structures exhibit an anomaly of the electrical capacitance C, which is not accompanied by a change in the dielectric loss tangent tanδ. The strong-signal dielectric response is characterized by the appearance of a ferroelectric nonlinearity at temperatures T >Tcafe, which is transformed into an antiferroelectric nonlinearity at T <Tcafe. With a further decrease in the temperature, double dielectric hysteresis loops appear in the antiferroelectric phase. The dielectric properties of the films have been described within the framework of the Landau-type thermodynamic model taking into account the biquadratic coupling ξP2η2 between the polar order parameter P and the nonpolar order parameter η with a positive coefficient ξ. The emission spectra caused by the transitions from the ion-pair states and f0 g + and G1g of the I2 molecule are obtained by excitation of individual rovibronic levels of the molecule by the method of optical-optical double resonance. The emission spectra from the state F0 u + populated due to collisions I2(f) + I2(X) are also measured. By modeling the experimental emission spectra, the dipole moment functions for the electronic transitions f g + -B0 u + , A0 u + , and B″0 u + ; G1g-A0 u + and B″0 u + ; and F0 u + -X0 g + and a′0 g + of the iodine molecule are reconstructed.  相似文献

High-frequency broad-band (65–240 GHz) EPR is used to study impurity centers of bivalent chromium in a CdGa2S4 crystal. It is found that the EPR spectra correspond to tetragonal symmetry. The spin Hamiltonian H = βB · g · S + B 2 0 O 2 0 + B 4 0 O 4 0 + B 4 4 O 4 4 with the parameters B 2 0 =23659±2 MHz, B 4 0 =1.9±1 MHz, |B 4 4 |=54.2±2 MHz, g=1.93±0.02, and g=1.99±0.02 is used to describe the observed spectra. It is concluded that chromium ions occupy one of the tetrahedrally coordinated cation positions.  相似文献
