This paper investigates the change of entanglement for transmitting an arbitrarily entangled two-qubit pure state via one of three typical kinds of noisy quantum channels: amplitude damping quantum channel, phase damping quantum channel and depolarizing quantum channel. It finds, in all these three cases, that the output distant entanglement (measured by concurrence) reduces proportionately with respect to its initial amount, and the decaying ratio is determined only by the noisy characteristics of quantum channels and independent of the form of initial input state.  相似文献

We design proposals to generate a remote Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger(GHZ) state and a W state of nitrogenvacancy(NV) centers coupled to microtoroidal resonators(MTRs) through noisy channels by utilizing time-bin encoding processes and fast-optical-switch-based polarization rotation operations.The polarization and phase noise induced by noisy channels generally affect the time of state generation but not its success probability and fidelity.Besides,the above proposals can be generalized to n-qubit between two or among n remote nodes with success probability unity under ideal conditions.Furthennore,the proposals are robust for regular noise-changeable channels for the n-node case.This method is also useful in other remote quantum information processing tasks through noisy channels.  相似文献

We study the quantum correlation dynamics of bipartite spin-\(\frac {1}{2}\) density matrices for two particles under Wigner rotations induced by Lorentz transformations which is transmitted through noisy channels. We compare quantum entanglement, geometric discord(GD), and quantum discord (QD) for bipartite relativistic spin-\(\frac {1}{2}\) states under noisy channels. We find out QD and GD tend to death asymptotically but a sudden change in the decay rate of the entanglement occurs under noisy channels. Also, bipartite relativistic spin density matrices are considered as a quantum channel for teleportation one-qubit state under the influence of depolarizing noise and compare fidelity for various velocities of observers.  相似文献

Quantum walks have significantly different properties compared to classical random walks, which have potential applications in quantum computation and quantum simulation. We study Hadamard quantum walks with coins undergoing different quantum noisy channels and deduce the analytical expressions of the first two moments of position in the longtime limit. Numerical simulations have been done, the results are compared with the analytical results, and they match extremely well. We show that the variance of the position distributions of the walks grows linearly with time when enough steps are taken and the linear coefficient is affected by the strength of the quantum noisy channels.  相似文献

量子信息技术主要基于量子纠缠,量子纠缠源作为重要的相干叠加态,其相干性很容易受到环境的影响而变得非常脆弱,甚至导致量子信息处理的失败.因此,全面揭示不同噪声环境和不同噪声信道下量子纠缠源演化规律,进而探寻抑制退相干的方法就显得至关重要.本文以量子信息最基本的单元-两比特纠缠对作为研究对象,实验上利用线性光学系统模拟了比特翻转和相移噪声(集体和非集体),研究了纠缠源在不同噪声环境及单、双和混合噪声信道下保真度的变化规律.实验结果表明:对同一种噪声类型,当纠缠比特经过双通道噪声环境时,其纠缠特性破坏得快;当纠缠比特经过非集体环境时,其纠缠特性消失得快.对不同噪声类型比较,结果表明比特翻转噪声相对于相移噪声更容易破坏纠缠特性.所得结论对纠缠退相干的理论和实验研究具有重要的借鉴意义,同时对基于非线性光学系统的量子信息处理技术具有重要的应用价值.  相似文献

We characterize the behavior of quantum correlations under the influence of local noisy channels. Intuition suggests that such noise should be detrimental for quantumness. When considering qubit systems, we show for which channels this is indeed the case: The amount of quantum correlations can only decrease under the action of unital channels. However, nonunital channels (e.g., such as dissipation) can create quantum correlations for some initially classical states. Furthermore, for higher-dimensional systems even unital channels may increase the amount of quantum correlations. Thus, counterintuitively, local decoherence can generate quantum correlations.  相似文献

Transfer of entanglement and information is studied for quantum teleportation of an unknown entangled state through noisy quantum channels. We find that the quantum entanglement of the unknown state can be lost during the teleportation even when the channel is quantum correlated. We introduce a fundamental parameter of correlation information which dissipates linearly during the teleportation through the noisy channel. Analyzing the transfer of correlation information, we show that the purity of the initial state is important in determining the entanglement of the replica state.  相似文献

The effects of amplitude damping in quantum noise channels on average fidelity of quantum teleportation are analyzed in Bloch sphere representation for every stage of teleportation. When the quantum channels are varied from maximally entangled states to non-maximally entangled states, it is found that the effects of noise channels on the fidelity are nearly equivalent to each other for strong quantum noise. The degree of damage on the fidelity of non-maximally entangled channels is smaller than that of maximally entangled channels. The average fidelity of values larger than 2/3 may be one representation indirectly showing how much the unavoidable quantum noise is.  相似文献

Entanglement is the crucial resource for different quantum information processing tasks. While conventional studies focus on the entanglement of bipartite or multipartite quantum states, recent works have extended the scenario to the entanglement of quantum channels, an operational quantification of the channel entanglement manipulation capability. Based on the recently proposed channel entanglement resource framework, here we study a further task of resource detection—witnessing entanglement of quantum channels. We first introduce the general framework and show how channel entanglement detection is related to the Choi state of the channel, enabling channel entanglement detection via conventional state entanglement detection methods. We also consider entanglement of multipartite quantum channels and use the stabilizer formalism to construct entanglement witnesses for circuits consisting of controlled-Z gates. We study the effectiveness of the proposed detection methods and compare their performance for several typical channels. Our work paves the way for systematic theoretical studies of channel entanglement and practical benchmarking of noisy intermediate scaled quantum devices.  相似文献

We exhibit quantum channels whose classical and quantum capacities, when assisted by classical feedback, exceed their unassisted classical Holevo capacity. These channels are designed to be noisy in a way that can be corrected with the help of the output and a reference system entangled with part of the input. A similar construction yields quantum channels whose classical capacity, when assisted by two-way classical communication independent of the source, exceeds their classical capacity assisted by feedback alone. Protection of entanglement from disturbance of the environment is an essential task in quantum information processing. We investigate the effect of the weak measurement and reversal (WMR) on the protection of the entanglement for an arbitrarily entangled two-qubit pure state from these three typical quantum noisy channels, i.e., amplitude damping channel, phase damping channel and depolarizing quantum channel. Given the parameters of the Bell-like initial qubits’ state |ψ〉 = a|00〉 + d|11〉, it is found that the WMR operation indeed helps for protecting distributed entanglement from the above three noisy quantum channels. But for the Bell-like initial qubits’ state |?〉 = b|01〉 + c|10〉, the WMR operation only protects entanglement in the amplitude damping channel, not for the phase damping and depolarizing quantum channels. In addition, we discuss how the concurrence and the success probability behave with adjusting the weak or the reversal weak measurement strength.  相似文献

This article indicates an improved protocol of quantum repeaters through the scheme of nest entanglement purification [Phys. Rev. Lett. 81, 5932 (1998)]. The hyperentangled photon pairs are utilized to overcome the limitations of long distance quantum communication via noisy channels. In addition, it is mentioned that if there are imperfect quantum operations and noises in realistic communication, the fidelities of hyperentangled quantum channels will be improved compared with the traditional entangled states.  相似文献

A tripartite single-photon state shared through noisy quantum channels is considered for three different system configurations. The quantum teleportation of a single-photon state between two parties is investigated in cases with and without the assistance of a third party. The uncertainty principle is a crucial aspect of quantum mechanics.It has been shown that quantum entanglement as well as more general notions of correlations,such as quantum discord,can relax or tighten the entropic uncertainty relation in the presence of an ancillary system.We explored the behaviour of entropic uncertainty relations for system of two qubits—one of which subjects to several forms of independent quantum noise,in both Markovian and non-Markovian regimes.The uncertainties and their lower bounds,identified by the entropic uncertainty relations,increase under independent local unital Markovian noisy channels,but they may decrease under non-unital channels.The behaviour of the uncertainties(and lower bounds)exhibit periodical oscillations due to correlation dynamics under independent non-Markovian reservoirs.In addition,we compare different entropic uncertainty relations in several special cases and find that discord-tightened entropic uncertainty relations offer in general a better estimate of the uncertainties in play.  相似文献

We introduce the probability distributions describing quantum observables in conventional quantum mechanics and clarify their relations to the tomographic probability distributions describing quantum states. We derive the evolution equation for quantum observables (Heisenberg equation) in the probability representation and give examples of the spin-1/2 (qubit) states and the spin observables. The modification of initially entangled light pulses passing through noisy quantum channels, modeled by dispersive and absorbing four-port devices, is studied with the help of recently obtained results on quantum state transformations. The fidelity and indices of quantum correlations based on the von Neumann entropy are calculated. Their dependence on both the pulse shape and the four-port device parameters is studied. It is shown that due to dispersion and absorption, the quantum correlations are reduced, and they decrease with increasing initial entanglement.  相似文献
