对含有次近邻节点自旋交换耦合的自旋-1/2伊辛-海森伯钻石链体系进行了研究,利用矩阵对角化和传递矩阵方法对基态磁相和宏观热力学量进行了严格求解,重点探讨了所有交换耦合均为反铁磁耦合时,体系节点伊辛自旋间次近邻相互作用的影响.研究结果表明次近邻节点伊辛自旋存在反铁磁耦合时会增强系统的阻挫效应,引入破坏平移对称性的经典亚铁磁相,使基态呈现出上上上下上上的自旋构型以及磁化曲线新颖的2/3磁化平台,丰富了体系的基态相图和宏观磁性行为.  相似文献

Abstract. The magnetic properties of the nearest-neighbor interaction mixed spin-1/2 and spin-1 Ising ferrimagnetic spin system with crystal field in a transverse field are investigated within the framework of the effective-field theory. Particular emphasis is given to the honeycomb lattice with coordination number Z = 3 for which magnetizations are obtained. If transverse field Ω varies in the certain ranges, we find that the compensation temperature is obtained for the value of the crystal field D in a restricted region. We discuss in detail the influence of the transverse field on the behaviors of the compensation point and magnetization curves in this paper.  相似文献

The ground state spin-wave excitations and thermodynamic properties of two types of ferrimagnetic chains are investigated: the alternating spin-1/2 spin-5/2 chain and a similar chain with a spin-1/2 pendant attached to the spin-5/2 site. Results for magnetic susceptibility, magnetization and specific heat are obtained through the finite-temperature Lanczos method with the aim of describing the available experimental data, as well as comparison with theoretical results from the semiclassical approximation and the low-temperature susceptibility expansion derived from Takahashi's modified spin-wave theory. In particular, we study in detail the temperature versus magnetic field phase diagram of the spin-1/2 spin-5/2 chain, in which several low-temperature quantum phases are identified: the Luttinger liquid phase, the ferrimagnetic plateau and the fully polarized phase, and the respective quantum critical points and crossover lines.  相似文献

The magnetic properties of an anti-ferromagnetic and ferrimagnetic mixed spin-1/2 and spin-5/2 Ising model with a crystal field in a longitudinal magnetic field on the honeycomb (z=3) and square lattice (z=4) are studied by using the effective-field theory with correlations. The ground state phase diagram of the model is obtained in the longitudinal magnetic field (h) and a single-ion potential or crystal-field interaction (Δ) plane. We also investigate the thermal variations of the sublattice and total magnetizations, and present the phase diagrams in the (Δ/|J|, ) plane. The phase diagrams have one, two or even three compensation temperatures depending on the values of the crystal-field interaction. Moreover, the susceptibility, internal energy and specific heat of the system are numerically examined, and some interesting phenomena in these quantities are found due to the applied longitudinal magnetic field.  相似文献

We have addressed the specific heat and magnetization of an anisotropic spin-1/2 triangular Heisenberg antiferromagnet Cs2CuCl4 in the presence of magnetic field at finite temperature. We have investigated the behavior of thermodynamic properties by means of excitation spectrum in terms of a hard core bosonic representation. The effect of in-plane anisotropy on thermodynamic properties has also been studied via the bosonic model by Green’s function approach. This anisotropy is considered for exchange constants that couple spin components perpendicular to magnetic field direction. We have found the temperature dependence of the specific heat and longitudinal magnetization in the gapped field induced spin-polarized phase for various magnetic fields and anisotropy parameters. Furthermore we have studied the magnetic field dependence of specific heat and magnetization for various anisotropy parameters. Our results show temperature dependence of specific heat includes a peak so that its temperature position goes to higher temperature with increase of magnetic field. We have found the magnetic field dependence of specific heat shows a monotonic decreasing behavior for various magnetic fields due to increase of energy gap in the excitation spectrum.  相似文献

An effective-field theory with correlations is developed for a mixed spin-1 and spin-3/2 Ising system with two alternative layers of a honeycomb lattice. Spin-1 atoms and spin-3/2 atoms are distributed in alternative layers of a honeycomb lattice. We consider that the nearest-neighbor spins of each layer are coupled ferromagnetically and the interaction between the vertically aligned spins and adjacent spins are coupled either ferromagnetically or antiferromagnetically depending on the sign of the bilinear exchange interactions. We investigate the temperature dependence of the total magnetization to find the compensation points and to determine the type of compensation behavior. We present the phase diagrams in different planes for h=0, and the phase diagrams contain the paramagnetic, nonmagnetic and ferrimagnetic phases. The system also presents a tricritical behavior besides multicritical point (A), isolated critical point (C) and double critical end point (B) depending on the interaction parameters.  相似文献

A physics picture of spin alignments in molecule-based ferrimagnets is presented from studying the temperature dependence of the effective sublattice magnetic moments and the total reduced magnetization by means of Green’s function theory combined with the Jordan-Wigner transformation. The ferrimagnetic chain includes an S=1 biradical and an S=1/2 monoradical with antiferromagnetic alternating interactions, and the S=1 site in the chain is composed of two S=1/2 spins coupled by a finite ferromagnetic interaction. From the calculations of the sublattice magnetic moments, the magnetic moment of the S=1 biradical is negative, while that of the S=1/2 monoradical is positive, leading to a ferrimagnetic ground state. With the different kinds of the elementary excitations and the competition between the magnetic interactions and thermal fluctuations, the temperature dependence of the magnetization displays rich thermodynamic properties. Meanwhile, the external magnetic field dependence of the magnetization has a clear plateau at one third of the saturation magnetization, which can be compared with the possible experimental findings.  相似文献

A molecular-based magnetic material AFeIIFeIII(C2O4)3 (A = organic cation) with a honeycomb structure is studied. The molecular-based magnet system consists of mixed spin-2 and spin- 5/2 honeycomb lattices with ferrimagnetic interlayer coupling. The magnetization, hysteresis loops and initial susceptibility have been calculated using a numerical method which includes both the longitudinal and transverse fields. We investigated the magnetic reversal of the system and found the existence of triple hysteresis loop patterns, affected by the anisotropy, longitudinal and transverse fields, and interlayer and intralayer exchange.  相似文献

Magnetic behavior of a spin-1 Heisenberg dimer is analysed in dependence on the both uniaxial single-ion anisotropy and XXZ exchange anisotropy in a zero- as well as non-zero longitudinal magnetic field. A complete set of eigenfunctions and eigenvalues of the total Hamiltonian is presented together with an exact analytical expression for the Gibbs free energy, longitudinal magnetization, longitudinal and transverse susceptibility. The obtained theoretical results are compared with the relevant experimental data of [Ni2(Medpt)2(μ-ox)(H2O)2](ClO4)2·2H2O (Medpt=methyl-bis(3-aminopropyl)amine).  相似文献

The magnetic behaviour of the intermetallic compounds Gd2Ni17?xAlx, (0?x?2) has been investigated both in the ferrimagnetic and paramagnetic regions. Based on the double-exchange model in the tight-binding approximation, self-consistent energy-band-structure calculations are carried out for the first time for the orbital and charge ordering in La0.5Ca0.5MnO3-type manganites with 16 Mn ions in the unit cell under the assumption of a linear dependence of the Jahn-Teller splitting of the e g level on the occupancy of each ion. The equilibrium magnetic and orbital configurations are determined by minimizing the total energy with respect to the direction of the local magnetic moments and the orbital states of the Mn ions. The dependence of the splitting on the occupancy favors the stabilization of phases with charge separation. This separation is an important factor determining the magnetic structure of the ground state. The ground state can be an insulating antiferromagnetic structure of the CE or G type or a new ferrimagnetic structure with a magnetization lower than that of a saturated ferromagnet by a factor of 2. The existence and the width of the bandgap in the electronic energy spectrum of the CE phase depend on the ratio between the values of the Hund exchange and the splitting. When the splitting is sufficiently large, the Jahn-Teller effect stabilizes the insulating state. The finite value of the Hund coupling also favors the stabilization of the CE phase for the realistic values of the interionic exchange and the hopping integral of itinerant electrons.  相似文献

Intensive Monte Carlo simulations based on standard Metropolis algorithm have been applied to investigate the phase diagrams of a ferrimagnetic cubic nanoparticle (nanocube) with a spin-3/2 core surrounded by a spin-1 shell layer with antiferromagnetic interface coupling. It has been shown that occupation of sites of particle core by spin-3/2 plays an important role on the shape of the phase diagrams. In addition, effects of the crystal field interaction as well as exchange interactions on the thermal and magnetic properties of the system have also been discussed in detail, and some interesting features have been observed for the temperature dependence of total magnetization curves of particle.  相似文献

The frustrated Ising model on kagome lattice with nearest-neighboring antiferromagnetic interaction is investigated by using Monte Carlo simulation of the Wang-Landau algorithm and Glauber dynamics. The geometrical frustration leads to a particularly high degeneracy of ground states in this system. A small magnetic field applied can lift the degeneracy partially, and produce the magnetization plateau of 1/3 saturate value (Ms), which is analogous to the magnetic behavior in triangular antiferromagnetic system. However, different from the long-range ferrimagnetic state responsible for 1/3 Ms plateau in triangular lattice, the ferrimagnetic ground state corresponding to 1/3 Ms plateau in kagome lattice is short-ranged and still highly degenerate. Furthermore, the spin configuration of these degenerate ferrimagnetic ground states show an inherent characteristic that the spins along the magnetic field must be aligned on the closed loops, which can be well understood in terms of geometrical frustration.  相似文献

A specific heat investigation of nickel perchlorate hexahydrate was performed between 2 and 17 K. Lattice vibration and magnetic contributions were separated. The lattice term obeys a Debye αT3 law, with α = 4.04 × 10?3JK4 mol. The magnetic contribution comes from the splitting of the ground state triplet of the Ni2+ ions, by axial and rhombic crystal field distortions, which can be explained by a Schottky specific heat with D = 1.72 KandE = 0.06 K.  相似文献

The spin-1/2 antiferromagnetic and spin-(1/2, 1) ferrimagnetic single-walled nanotubes are described by XXZ Heisenberg model. The sublattice magnetization and the critical temperature of the system are calculated by using the double-time spin Green's function method. At zero temperature, with the increase of the exchange interaction in the circumferential direction, a maximum value appears in the sublattice magnetization curves of antiferromagnetic and ferrimagnetic systems. As the diameter of the tube increases, the spin quantum fluctuations and thermal fluctuations are suppressed. In addition, the spin quantum fluctuation of the spin-1/2 antiferromagnetic system is greater than that of the spin-(1/2, 1) ferrimagnetic system. The critical temperature of the system increases firstly and then tends to a constant with the increase of the diameter of tube, and it decreases to zero as the exchange anisotropy of the system disappears.  相似文献

The relationships between spin-lattice coupling coefficients G11, G44 in cubic symmetry and the zero-field splittings in low symmetry have been put forward and hence the simple methods of calculating these coefficients from the formulae of zero-field splittings are given. According to these, the coefficient G44 can be obtained very easily from two cases, one from the derivative of zero-field splitting D in trigonal symmetry with respect to the bonding angle β and another from the derivative of splitting E in rhombic symmetry with respect to the angle θ. So, one can, in a certain degree, check whether the formulae of D in trigonal field and E in rhombic field based on different mechanisms and models are consistent and reliable by comparing the formulae of G44 obtained from the two cases.  相似文献

The magnetization of a ferrimagnetic mixed-spin nanoparticle for a series of different single-ion anisotropies D1 and D2 with increasing external magnetic field is studied by the use of the effective-field theory with correlations. At low temperature, the magnetization exhibits an obvious step effect for different anisotropies, exchange couplings, and external magnetic field. The results show that the positive single-ion anisotropy D1 (or D2) is a necessary element for the emergence of the accessional magnetization plateaus for the ferrimagnetic mixed-spin nanoparticle. However, for the stronger D2 the magnetization plateaus dissatisfy the 2S+1 criterion in such a ferrimagnetic nanoparticle system.  相似文献

We have studied the effect of the internal circumferential magnetic field HB created by the dc bias current IB on longitudinal and off-diagonal magnetoimpedance (MI) in amorphous microwire with helical anisotropy and experimentally demonstrated that by changing the dc current IB it is possible to considerably change the MI dependencies. The bias current applied to such microwire transforms the symmetric and hysteretic MI curve to asymmetrical and anhysteretic. The minimum of longitudinal MI curve shifts from the zero-field point. Reversing the bias current causes reversal of the bias field direction and results in a mirroring of the MI curves. It is proposed to apply a cross-checking of two MI curves with IB of different polarity for magnetic field sensing. In particular, this method allows to overcome the drawbacks usually associated with longitudinal MI—namely the impossibility to determine the direction of an external axial magnetic field HE and the low sensitivity near the zero-field point. Moreover, the operating range of the longitudinal MI sensor, in contrast to the off-diagonal one, can be much extended as it exhibits a quite high sensitivity in the field range up to one order of magnitude higher than the anisotropy field.  相似文献

The magnetic properties of a mixed spin ferrimagnetic system σ?=?1/2 and S?=?2 at the sites of a square lattice with a random crystal field are studied by the mean field approximation. The ground state of the system is determined and the total magnetization is plotted according to the model parameters. Different behaviors for the thermal dependence of the magnetization are highlighted. In particular, one sees the appearance of one or two compensating points and many types of phase diagrams with first and second order phase transition lines as well as isolated critical and tricritical points.  相似文献
