The generation of heterobimetallic complexes with two or three bridging sulfido ligands from mononuclear tris(sulfido) complex of tungsten [Et(4)N][(Me(2)Tp)WS(3)] (1; Me(2)Tp = hydridotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)borate) and organometallic precursors is reported. Treatment of 1 with stoichiometric amounts of metal complexes such as [M(PPh(3))(4)] (M = Pt, Pd), [(PtMe(3))(4)(micro(3)-I)(4)], [M(cod)(PPh(3))(2)][PF(6)] (M = Ir, Rh; cod = 1,5-cyclooctadiene), [Rh(cod)(dppe)][PF(6)] (dppe = Ph(2)PCH(2)CH(2)PPh(2)), [CpIr(MeCN)(3)][PF(6)](2) (Cp = eta(5)-C(5)Me(5)), [CpRu(MeCN)(3)][PF(6)], and [M(CO)(3)(MeCN)(3)] (M = Mo, W) in MeCN or MeCN-THF at room temperature afforded either the doubly bridged complexes [Et(4)N][(Me(2)Tp)W(=S)(micro-S)(2)M(PPh(3))] (M = Pt (3), Pd (4)), [(Me(2)Tp)W(=S)(micro-S)(2)M(cod)] (M = Ir, Rh (7)), [(Me(2)Tp)W(=S)(micro-S)(2)Rh(dppe)], [(Me(2)Tp)W(=S)(micro-S)(2)RuCp] (10), and [Et(4)N][(Me(2)Tp)W(=S)(micro-S)(2)W(CO)(3)] (12) or the triply bridged complexes including [(Me(2)Tp)W(micro-S)(3)PtMe(3)] (5), [(Me(2)Tp)W(micro-S)(3)IrCp][PF(6)] (9), and [Et(4)N][(Me(2)Tp)W(micro-S)(3)Mo(CO)(3)] (11), depending on the nature of the incorporated metal fragment. The X-ray analyses have been undertaken to clarify the detailed structures of 3-5, 7, and 9-12.  相似文献

Treatment of [Et4N][(Me2Tp)W(CO)3] (Me2Tp = HB(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)3) with S8 in DMF at room temperature afforded a tris(sulfido) complex [Et4N][(Me2Tp)WS3] (1a), while that of [Et4N][TpW(CO)3] (Tp = HB(pyrazol-1-yl)3) in MeCN resulted in the formation of [Et4N][TpWS3] (1b) along with [Et4N]2[[WO(S2)2]2(mu-S)] (6) as a byproduct. Under similar conditions, [Et4N][(Me2Tp)Mo(CO)3] gave a mixture of a sulfido-tetrasulfido complex [Et4N][(Me2Tp)MoS(S4)] (2a) and its monooxo analogue [Et4N][(Me2Tp)MoO(S4)], although a sulfido-tetrasulfido complex [Et4N][TpMoS(S4)] (2b) was exclusively obtained from [Et4N][TpMo(CO)3]. The reaction of 1a with [PtCl2(cod)] (cod = 1,5-cyclooctadiene) in MeCN at room temperature led to the formation of a sulfido-bridged mixed-metal complex [Et4N][(Me2Tp)WS(mu-S)2PtCl2] (10). The structures of new complexes have been determined in detail by the X-ray analyses for 1a.MeCN, 1b, 2a, 2b, 6, and 10.  相似文献

Reactions of TpMS(S(2)CNEt(2)) with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate in dichloromethane produce olive green/black TpM{S(2)C(2)(CO(2)Me)(2)}(SCNEt(2)-kappa(2)S,C) (M = Mo (1), W (2); Tp = hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)borate). The seven-coordinate complexes exhibit pseudo-octahedral (1) and distorted pentagonal bipyramidal (2) coordination spheres comprised of tridentate fac-Tp, bidentate dithiolene, and thiocarboxamido-kappa(2)S,C ligands. In the solid state, molecules of 1 exhibit pseudo-C(s)() symmetry, with the thiocarboxamide NEt(2) group in a cleft in the Tp ligand. Molecules of 2 have C(1) symmetry in the solid state; here, the thiocarboxamide unit is orientated along one of the W-S(dithiolene) bonds with its NEt(2) group projecting away from the Tp ligand. Both complexes possess effective C(s)() symmetry in solution. Reaction of TpMoI(CO)(3) with AgS(2)CNEt(2) affords olive green TpMo(S(2)CNEt(2))(CO)(2) (3), which reacts with propylene sulfide in a new synthesis for TpMoS(S(2)CNEt(2)), the starting material for 1. Complex 3 exhibits a distorted pentagonal bipyramidal structure, the axial sites being defined by a Tp nitrogen atom and a carbonyl ligand, the pentagonal plane by the remaining nitrogen and carbonyl donors and the two sulfur atoms of the bidentate dithiocarbamate ligand.  相似文献

Reaction of methyl iodide with square planar [kappa(2)-Tp*Rh(CO)(PMe(3))] 1a (Tp* = HB(3,5-Me(2)pz)(3)) at room temperature affords [kappa(3)-Tp*Rh(CO)(PMe(3))(Me)]I 2a, which was fully characterized by spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. The pseudooctahedral geometry of cationic 2a, which contains a kappa(3)-coordinated Tp* ligand, indicates a reaction mechanism in which nucleophilic attack by Rh on MeI is accompanied by coordination of the pendant pyrazolyl group. In solution 2a transforms slowly into a neutral (acetyl)(iodo) rhodium complex [kappa(3)-Tp*Rh(PMe(3))(COMe)I] 3a, for which an X-ray crystal structure is also reported. Kinetic studies on the reactions of [kappa(2)-Tp*Rh(CO)(L)] (L = PMe(3), PMe(2)Ph, PMePh(2), PPh(3), CO)] with MeI show second-order behavior with large negative activation entropies, consistent with an S(N)2 mechanism. The second-order rate constants correlate well with phosphine basicity. For L = CO, reaction with MeI gives an acetyl complex, [kappa(3)-Tp*Rh(CO)(COMe)I]. The bis(pyrazolyl)borate complexes [kappa(2)-Bp*Rh(CO)(L)] (L = PPh(3), CO) are much less reactive toward MeI than the Tp* analogues, indicating the importance of the third pyrazolyl group and the accessibility of a kappa(3) coordination mode. The results strengthen the evidence in favor of an S(N)2 mechanism for oxidative addition of MeI to square planar d(8) transition metal complexes.  相似文献

Synthetic models leading to oxosulfidotungsten(VI) groups and dithiolene chelate rings have been investigated. The heterogeneous reaction systems [WO4-nSn]2-/2Ph3SiCl/Me4phen (n = 0-2) in acetonitrile afford the complexes [WQ2(OSiPh3)2(Me4phen)] (1-3) in the indicated yields containing the groups W(VI)O2 (1; 86%), W(VI)O2 (2; 45%), and W(VI)S2 (3; 83%). In the crystalline state these complexes have imposed C2 symmetry, with cis-oxo/sulfido and trans-silyloxide ligands. 1H NMR spectra indicate that this stereochemistry is retained in solution. The colors of 2 (yellow, 367 nm) and 3 (orange, 451 nm) arise from LMCT absorptions at the indicated wavelengths. These results demonstrate that the silylation procedure previously introduced for the preparation of molecules with the Mo(VI)OS group (Thapper, et al. Inorg. Chem. 1999, 38, 4104) extends to tungsten. Methods for the formation of dithiolene chelate rings MS2C2R2 in reactions with sulfide-bound M = Mo or W precursors are summarized. In a known reaction type, 3 and activated acetylenes rapidly form [W(IV)(OSiPh3)2(Me4phen)(S2C2R2)] (R = CO2Me, 4, 83%, and Ph, 5, 98%). In a new reaction type not requiring the isolation of an intermediate, the systems [MO2S2]2-/2Ph3SiCl/Me4phen/PhC=CPh in acetonitrile afford 5 (68%) and [Mo(IV)(OSiPh3)2(Me4phen)(S2C2Ph2)] (6; 61%). Complexes 5 and 6 are isostructural, maintain the trans-silyloxide stereochemistry, and exhibit chelate ring dimensions indicative of ene- 1,2-dithiolate coordination. Reductions in the -1.4 to -1.7 V range are described as metal-centered. It remains to be seen whether the oxo/sulfidotungsten(VI) groups in 1-3 eventuate in the active sites of tungstoenzymes. (Me4phen = 3,4,7,8-tetramethyl-1,10-phenanthroline.)  相似文献

The synthesis and structures of two types of molecules are presented: [MVIO3 - nSn(OSiR2R')]1- (M = Mo, n = 0-3; M = W, n = 3) and [MVIO2(OSiR2R')(bdt)]1- (M = Mo, W; bdt = benzene-1,2-dithiolate). For both types, R2R' are Me3, Pri3, Ph3, Me2But and Ph2But. The complete series of oxo/sulfido/silyloxo molybdenum complexes has been prepared. Complexes with n = 0 are readily prepared by the silylation of Ag2MoO4 and sustain mono- or disulfidation with Ph3SiSH to form a species with n = 1 and n = 2, respectively. Complexes with n = 3 are accessible by the silylation of [MOS3]2-. Structures of the representative series members [MoO3(OSiPh2But)]1-, [MoO2S(OSiPh3)]1-, [MoOS2(OSiPri3)]1-, [MoS3(OSiPh2But)]1-, and also [WS3(OSiMe2But)]1-, all with tetrahedral stereochemistry, are presented. Benzene-1,2-dithiolate complexes are prepared by the reaction of [MoO3(OSiR2R')]1-with the dithiol or by the silylation of previously reported [MO3(bdt)]2-. The structures of [MoO2(OSiPh2But)(bdt)]1- and [WO2(OSiPri3)(bdt)]1- conform to square-pyramidal stereochemistry with an oxo ligand in the apical position. The role of these complexes in the preparation of site analogues of the xanthine oxidoreductase enzyme family is noted. The sulfidation reactions reported here point to the utility of Ph3SiSH and Pri3SiSH as reagents for MoVI-based oxo-for-sulfido conversions.  相似文献

The X-ray absorption spectra at the molybdenum and selenium K-edges and the tungsten L2,3-edges are acquired for a set of 14 Mo(IV) and W(IV,VI) bis(dithiolene) complexes related to the active sites of molybdo- and tungstoenzymes. The set includes square pyramidal [MoIVL(S2C2Me2)2]- (L = O2-, R3SiO-, RO-, RS-, RSe-) and [WIV(OR)(S2C2Me2)2]-, distorted trigonal prismatic [MoIV(CO)(SeR)(S2C2Me2)2]- and [WIV(CO)L(S2C2Me2)2]- (L = RS-, RSe-), and distorted octahedral [WVIO(OR)(S2C2Me2)2]-. The dithiolene simulates the pterin-dithiolene cofactor ligand, and L represents a protein ligand. Bond lengths are determined by EXAFS analysis using the GNXAS protocol. Normalized edge spectra, non-phase-shift-corrected Fourier transforms, and EXAFS data and fits are presented. Bond lengths determined by EXAFS and X-ray crystallography agree to < or = 0.02 A as do the M-Se distances determined by both metal and selenium EXAFS. The complexes [MoIV(QR)(S2C2Me2)2]- simulate protein ligation by the DMSO reductase family of enzymes, including DMSO reductase itself (Q = O), dissimilatory nitrate reductase (Q = S), and formate dehydrogenase (Q = Se). Edge shifts of these complexes correlate with the ligand electronegativities. Terminal ligand binding is clearly distinguished in the presence of four Mo-S(dithiolene) interactions. Similarly, five-coordinate [ML(S2C2Me2)2]- and six-coordinate [M(CO)L(S2C2Me2)2]- are distinguishable by edge and EXAFS spectra. This study expands a previous XAS investigation of bis(dithiolene)metal(IV,V,VI) complexes (Musgrave, K. B.; Donahue, J. P.; Lorber, C.; Holm, R. H.; Hedman, B.; Hodgson, K. O. J. Am. Chem. Soc. 1999, 121, 10297) by including a larger inventory of molecules with variant physiologically relevant terminal ligation. The previous and present XAS results should prove useful in characterizing and refining metric features and structures of enzyme sites.  相似文献

Novel [Rh(η-diene)Tp(x)] complexes of sterically encumbered Tp(x) ligands (Tp(x) = Tp(4Bo), diene = cod, 1; nbd, 2; Tp(x) = Tp(4Bo,5Me), diene = cod, 3; nbd, 4; Tp(x) = Tp(a,3Me), diene = cod, 5; nbd, 6; Tp(x) = Tp(a*,3Me), diene = cod, 7; nbd, 8) have been prepared by treatment of [Rh(η-diene)(μ-Cl)](2) with TlTp(x) (Tp(x) in general, in detail: Tp(4Bo) = hydrotris(indazol-1-yl)borate, Tp(4Bo,5Me) = hydrotris(5-methyl-indazol-1-yl)borate, Tp(a,3Me) = hydrotris(3-methyl-2H-benz[g]-4,5-dihydroindazol-2-y1)borate, Tp(a*,3Me) = hydrotris(3-methyl-2H-benz[g]indazol-2-yl)borate), and characterized by analytical and spectral data (IR, (1)H, (11)B, and (13)C NMR solution). The structures adopted by [Rh(nbd)Tp(4Bo)] 2, [Rh(cod)Tp(4Bo,5Me)] 3, [Rh(nbd)Tp(a,3Me)] 6, [Rh(nbd)Tp(a*,3Me)] 8, and [Rh(nbd)Tp(a*,3Me*)] 8* (incorporating a borotropomeric ligand), have been investigated. Low steric hindrance between the ligands in 2 and 3 permits κ(3) coordination of the pyrazolylborate while the high steric encumbrance present in 6, 8, and 8* results in κ(2) ligands. The coordination modes of the ligands to the metal have also been established by (15)N CPMAS studies of selected ligands and their corresponding Rh complexes. These spectroscopic data are in agreement with the (15)N chemical shifts obtained by using quantum-chemical methods to assist reliable assignments of the experimental values, affording new insights into the extraction of structural information concerning the hapticity (κ(2) or κ(3)) of the poly(pyrazolyl)borate ligands to the Rh metal.  相似文献

Reaction of [Ti(NBu(t))Cl(2)(py-Bu(t))(2)] (1; py-Bu(t) = 4-tert-butyl pyridine) with 1 equivalent of K[Tp(Me2)], K[Tp(Pri)] or K[Tp(Pri,Br)] affords the corresponding complexes [Tp(Me2)Ti(NBu(t))Cl(py-Bu(t))] (2), [Tp(Pri)Ti(NBu(t))Cl(py-Bu(t))] (3), and [Tp(Pri,Br)Ti(NBu(t))Cl(py-Bu(t))] (4), respectively, which are the first examples of imido Group 4 tris(pyrazolyl)hydroborates [Tp(Me2) = tris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)hydroborate; Tp(Pri) = tris(3-isopropylpyrazolyl)hydroborate; Tp(Pri,Br) = tris(3-isopropyl-4-bromopyrazolyl)hydroborate]. Complexes 2-4 are fluxional on the (1)H and (13)C NMR time scales, the spectra indicating restricted rotation about the Ti-py-Bu(t) bond. Activation parameters for this dynamic process have been determined both by (13)C NMR lineshape analysis and by coalescence measurements. The solution-state structure for 2 has been unambiguously assigned from a low temperature, phase-sensitive (1)H NOESY DQF spectrum and the solid-state X-ray crystal structure of the dichloromethane solvate of 3 has been determined (space group P2(1)/n; a = 12.539(3), b = 14.686(3), c = 21.747(4) ?; beta = 91.28(3) degrees; R(1) = 0.0694 and wR(2) = 0.154 for 1578 observed reflections). (13)C NMR Deltadelta values (Deltadelta = delta(C(alpha)) - delta(C(beta))) for the tert-butyl imido ligand in 2-4 suggest that the donor ability of the tris(pyrazolyl)hydroborate ligands increases in the order Tp(Pri,Br) < Tp(Pri) < Tp(Me2). None of these ligands, however, is as effective a donor to the metal center as either eta-C(5)H(5) or eta-C(5)Me(5).  相似文献

Reactions of a dirhenium tetra(sulfido) complex [PPh(4)](2)[ReS(L)(mu-S)(2)ReS(L)] (L = S(2)C(2)(SiMe(3))(2)) with a series of group 8-11 metal complexes in MeCN at room temperature afforded either the cubane-type clusters [M(2)(ReL)(2)(mu(3)-S)(4)] (M = CpRu (2), PtMe(3), Cu(PPh(3)) (4); Cp = eta(5)-C(5)Me(5)) or the incomplete cubane-type clusters [M(ReL)(2)(mu(3)-S)(mu(2)-S)(3)] (M = (eta(6)-C(6)HMe(5))Ru (5), CpRh (6), CpIr (7)), depending on the nature of the metal complexes added. It has also been disclosed that the latter incomplete cubane-type clusters can serve as the good precursors to the trimetallic cubane-type clusters still poorly precedented. Thus, treatment of 5-7 with a range of metal complexes in THF at room temperature resulted in the formation of novel trimetallic cubane-type clusters, including the neutral clusters [[(eta(6)-C(6)HMe(5))Ru][W(CO)(3)](ReL)(2)(mu(3)-S)(4)], [(CpM)[W(CO)(3)](ReL)(2)(mu(3)-S)(4)] (M = Rh, Ir), [(Cp*Ir)[Mo(CO)(3)](ReL)(2)(mu(3)-S)(4)], [[(eta(6)-C(6)HMe(5))Ru][Pd(PPh(3))](ReL)(2)(mu(3)-S)(4)], and [(Cp*Ir)[Pd(PPh(3))](ReL)(2)(mu(3)-S)(4)] (13) along with the cationic clusters [(Cp*Ir)(CpRu)(ReL)(2)(mu(3)-S)(4)][PF(6)] (14) and [(Cp*Ir)[Rh(cod)](ReL)(2)(mu(3)-S)(4)][PF(6)] (cod = 1,5-cyclooctadiene). The X-ray analyses have been carried out for 2, 4, 7, 13, and the SbF(6) analogue of 14 (14') to confirm their bimetallic cubane-type, bimetallic incomplete cubane-type, or trimetallic cubane-type structures. Fluxional behavior of the incomplete cubane-type and trimetallic cubane-type clusters in solutions has been demonstrated by the variable-temperature (1)H NMR studies, which is ascribable to both the metal-metal bond migration in the cluster cores and the pseudorotation of the dithiolene ligand bonded to the square pyramidal Re centers, where the temperatures at which these processes proceed have been found to depend upon the nature of the metal centers included in the cluster cores.  相似文献

The complexes [MBr(π-allyl)(CO)2(bipy)] (M = Mo, W, bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine) react with alkylxanthates (MIRxant), and N-alkyldithiocarbamates (MIRHdtc) (MI = Na or K), yielding complexes of general formula [M(S,S)- (π-allyl)(CO)2(bipy)] (M = Mo, (S,S) = Rxant (R = Me, Et, t-Bu, Bz), RHdtc (R = Me, Et); M = W, (S,S) = Extant). A monodentate coordentate coordination of the (S,S) ligand was deduced from spectral data. The reaction of [MoBr(π-allyl)(CO)2(bipy)] with MeHdtc and Mexant gives the same complexes whether pyridine is present or not. The complexes [Mo(S,S)(π-allyl)(CO)2(bipy)] ((S,S) = MeHdtc, Mexant) do not react with an excess of (S,S) ligand and pyridine. No reaction products were isolated from reaction of [MoBr(π-allyl)(CO)2(dppe)] with xanthates or N-alkyldithiocarbamates.  相似文献

Structurally characterized tungstoenzymes contain mononuclear active sites in which tungsten is coordinated by two pterin-dithiolene ligands and one or two additional ligands that have not been identified. In this and prior investigations (Sung, K.-M.; Holm, R. H. Inorg. Chem. 2000, 39, 1275; J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2001, 123, 1931), stable coordination units of bis(dithiolene)tungsten(IV,V,VI) complexes potentially related to enzyme sites have been sought by exploratory synthesis. In this work, additional members of the sets [WL(S2C2Me2)2](2-,-) and [WLL'(S2C2Me2)2](2-,-) have been prepared and structurally characterized. Tungsten(IV) complexes obtained by substitution are carbonyl displacement products of [W(CO)2(S2C2Me2)2] and include those with the groups W(IV)S (4), W(IV)(O2CPh) (5), and W(IV)(2-AdQ)(CO) (Q = S (6), Se (7); Ad = adamantyl). Those obtained by oxidation reactions contain the groups W(V)O (9), W(V)(QPh)2 (Q = S (10), Se (11)), W(VI)S(OPh) (12), and W(VI)O2 (14). The latter two complexes were obtained from W(IV) precursors using sulfur and oxygen atom transfer reactions, respectively. Complexes 4 and 9 are square pyramidal; 6, 7, 10, and 11 are distorted trigonal prismatic with cis ligands LL'; and 12 and 14 are distorted octahedral. Complexes 4, 10, and 11 support three-membered electron transfer series. Attempts to oxidize 4 to the W(V)S complex results in the formation of binuclear [W2(mu2-S)2(S2C2Me2)4](2-) having distorted octahedral coordination. The 21 known functional groups WL and WLL' in mononuclear bis(dithiolene) complexes prepared in this and prior investigations are tabulated. Of those with physiological-type ligands, it remains to be seen which (if any) of these ligation modes are displayed by enzyme sites.  相似文献

The active sites of tungstoenzymes have the formulations W(IV,V)L(S(2)pd)(2) and W(VI)LL'(S(2)pd)(2), in which two pyranopterindithiolene cofactor ligands (S(2)pd) are chelated to a tungsten atom. Ligands L and/or L' are not fully defined in any wild-type enzyme. The feasibility of various coordination fragments (functional groups) in potential bis(dithiolene)tungsten site analogues has been examined in previous work by exploratory synthesis. This investigation expands the range of accessible functional groups. The synthetic scheme originates with [W(CO)(2)(S(2)C(2)Me(2))(2)], whose carbonyl groups are labile to substitution. Complexes [W(IV,VI)LL'(S(2)C(2)Me(2))(2)](1-) are described in terms of their functional groups W(IV,VI)LL'. Reaction of the dicarbonyl with formate in acetonitrile/THF affords W(IV)(CO)(eta(1)-HCO(2)) (4) and in Me(2)SO W(VI)O(eta(1)-HCO(2)) (7) by an oxo transfer reaction. Carboxylates yield six-coordinate W(IV)(eta(2)-O(2)CR) (1-3, R = Ph, Me, Bu(t)) with C(2)(v) symmetry. Reaction of 3 (R = Bu(t)) with Me(3)SiSR (R = C(6)H(2)-2,4,6-Pr(i)(3)) gives W(IV)(SR) (5), which undergoes oxo and sulfido atom transfer to form W(VI)O(SR) (8) and W(VI)S(SR) (9), respectively. Attempts to prepare corresponding selenolate complexes, pertinent to the active site of formate dehydrogenase, were unsuccessful, including reactions of W(VI)OCl (10) with RSe(-). Structure proofs of 2-10 were obtained by X-ray structure determinations. Some 26 functional group types in bis(dithiolene)W(IV,V,VI) molecules have now been achieved by synthesis. It remains to be seen which are incorporated in an enzyme site. A number of them (e.g., 5) are directly analogous to molybdoenzyme sites, and may possess corresponding reactivity with biological substrates, as do W(IV)(OR)/W(VI)O(OR) (prepared earlier) in the reduction of N- and S-oxides by atom transfer.  相似文献

The reaction of the group 9 bis(hydrosulfido) complexes [Cp*M(SH)2(PMe3)] (M=Rh, Ir; Cp*=eta(5)-C 5Me5) with the group 6 nitrosyl complexes [Cp*M'Cl2(NO)] (M'=Mo, W) in the presence of NEt3 affords a series of bis(sulfido)-bridged early-late heterobimetallic (ELHB) complexes [Cp*M(PMe3)(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (2a, M=Rh, M'=Mo; 2b, M=Rh, M'=W; 3a, M=Ir, M'=Mo; 3b, M=Ir, M'=W). Similar reactions of the group 10 bis(hydrosulfido) complexes [M(SH)2(dppe)] (M=Pd, Pt; dppe=Ph 2P(CH2) 2PPh2), [Pt(SH)2(dppp)] (dppp=Ph2P(CH2) 3PPh2), and [M(SH)2(dpmb)] (dpmb=o-C6H4(CH2PPh2)2) give the group 10-group 6 ELHB complexes [(dppe)M(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (M=Pd, Pt; M'=Mo, W), [(dppp)Pt(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (6a, M'=Mo; 6b, M'=W), and [(dpmb)M(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*] (M=Pd, Pt; M'=Mo, W), respectively. Cyclic voltammetric measurements reveal that these ELHB complexes undergo reversible one-electron oxidation at the group 6 metal center, which is consistent with isolation of the single-electron oxidation products [Cp*M(PMe3)(mu-S)2M'(NO)Cp*][PF6] (M=Rh, Ir; M'=Mo, W). Upon treatment of 2b and 3b with ROTf (R=Me, Et; OTf=OSO 2CF 3), the O atom of the terminal nitrosyl ligand is readily alkylated to form the alkoxyimido complexes such as [Cp*Rh(PMe3)(mu-S)2W(NOMe)Cp*][OTf]. In contrast, methylation of the Rh-, Ir-, and Pt-Mo complexes 2a, 3a, and 6a results in S-methylation, giving the methanethiolato complexes [Cp*M(PMe3)(mu-SMe)(mu-S)Mo(NO)Cp*][BPh 4] (M=Rh, Ir) and [(dppp)Pt(mu-SMe)(mu-S)Mo(NO)Cp*][OTf], respectively. The Pt-W complex 6b undergoes either S- or O-methylation to form a mixture of [(dppp)Pt(mu-SMe)(mu-S)W(NO)Cp*][OTf] and [(dppp)Pt(mu-S) 2W(NOMe)Cp*][OTf]. These observations indicate that O-alkylation and one-electron oxidation of the dinuclear nitrosyl complexes are facilitated by a common effect, i.e., donation of electrons from the group 9 or 10 metal center, where the group 9 metals behave as the more effective electron donor.  相似文献

The reaction of the arylated Fischer carbene complexes [(CO)5M=C(OEt)Ar] (Ar=Ph; M = Cr, W; 2-MeC6H4; 2-MeOC6H; M = W) with the phosphaalkenes RP=C(NMe2), (R=tBu, SiMe3) afforded the novel phosphaalkene complexes [[RP=C(OEt)Ar]M(CO)5] in addition to the compounds [(RP=C(NMe2)2]M(CO)5]. Only in the case of the R = SiMe3 (E/Z) mixtures of the metathesis products were obtained. The bis(dimethylamino)methylene unit of the phosphaalkene precursor was incorporated in olefins of the type (Me2N)2C=C(OEt)(Ar). Treatment of [(CO)5W=C(OEt)(2-MeOC6H4)] with HP=C(NMe2)2 gave rise to the formation of an E/Z mixture of [[(Me2N)2CH-P=C(OEt)(2-MeOC6H4)]W(CO)5] the organophosphorus ligand of which formally results from a combination of the carbene ligand and the phosphanediyl [P-CH(NMe2)2]. The reactions reported here strongly depend on an inverse distribution of alpha-electron density in the phosphaalkene precursors (Pdelta Cdelta+), which renders these molecules powerfu] nucleophiles.  相似文献

Solutions of the zinc hydroxide complex [Tp(Bu(t),Me)]ZnOH in alcohols (ROH; R = Me, Et, Pr(i)) achieve hydride transfer to the NAD(+) model, 10-methylacridinium perchlorate. Deuterium labeling studies, however, demonstrate that the source of the hydride is not the alcohol but, rather, the B [bond] H group of the [Tp(Bu(t),Me)] ligand. A further example in which a [Tp(Bu(t),Me)] ligand acts as a hydride donor is provided by the reaction of the aqua complex [[Tp(Bu(t),Me)]Zn(OH(2))][HOB(C(6)F(5))(3)] with MeOH to generate the zinc hydride complex [Tp(Bu(t),Me)]ZnH. The present study therefore provides a caveat for the often assumed inertness of the B [bond] H group in tris(pyrazolyl)hydroborato ligands, especially in the presence of reactive cationic species.  相似文献

The syntheses, structures, and magnetic properties of a series of di- and trivalent hydridotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)borate (Tp*) cyanomanganates are described. Treatment of tris(acetylacetonate)manganese(III) [Mn(acac)(3)] with KTp* and tetra(ethyl)ammonium cyanide affords [NEt(4)][(Tp*)Mn(II)(κ(2)-acac)(CN)] (1), as the first monocyanomanganate(II) complex; attempted oxidation of 1 with iodine affords {(Tp*)Mn(II)(κ(2)-acac(3-CN))}(n) (2) as a one-dimensional chain and bimetallic {[NEt(4)][(Tp*)Mn(II)(κ(2)-acac(3-CN))](2)(μ-CN) (3) as the major and minor products, respectively. A fourth complex, [NEt(4)][(Tp*)Mn(II)(η(2)-acac(3-CN))(η(1)-NC-acac)] (4), is obtained via treatment of Mn(acac(3-CN))(3) with KTp* and [NEt(4)]CN, while [NEt(4)](2)[Mn(II)(CN)(4)] (5) was prepared from manganese(II) trifluoromethanesulfonate and excess [NEt(4)]CN. Tricyanomanganate(III) complexes, [cat][(Tp*)Mn(III)(CN)(3)] [cat = NEt(4)(+), 7; PPN(+), 8], are prepared via sequential treatment of Mn(acac(3-CN))(3) with KTp*, followed by [NEt(4)]CN, or [cat](3)[Mn(III)(CN)(6)] with (Tp*)SnBu(2)Cl. Magnetic measurements indicate that 1, 2, and 4 contain isotropic Mn(II) (S = (5)/(2); g = 2.00) centers, and no long-range magnetic ordering is found above 1.8 K. Compounds 7 and 8 contain S = 1 Mn(III) centers that adopt singly degenerate spin ground states without orbital contributions to their magnetic moments.  相似文献

A series of dinuclear complexes, [Tp(R)M--M'L(n)] [Tp(iPr(2) )M--Co(CO)(4) (1; M=Ni, Co, Fe, Mn); Tp(#)M--Co(CO)(4) (1'; M=Ni, Co); Tp(#)Ni--RuCp(CO)(2) (3')] (Tp(iPr(2) )=hydrotris(3,5-diisopropylpyrazolyl)borato; Tp(#) (Tp(Me(2),4-Br))=hydrotris(3,5-dimethyl-4-bromopyrazolyl)borato), has been prepared by treatment of the cationic complexes [Tp(iPr(2) )M(NCMe)(3)]PF(6) or the halo complexes [Tp(#)M--X] with the appropriate metalates. Spectroscopic and crystallographic characterization of 1-3' reveals that the tetrahedral, high-spin Tp(R)M fragment and the coordinatively saturated carbonyl-metal fragment (M'L(n)) are connected only by a metal-metal interaction and, thus, the dinuclear complexes belong to a unique class of xenophilic complexes. The metal-metal interaction in the xenophilic complexes is polarized, as revealed by their nu(CO) vibrations and structural features, which fall between those of reference complexes: covalently bonded species [R--M'L(n)] and ionic species [M'L(n)](-). Unrestricted DFT calculations for the model complexes [Tp(H(2) )Ni--Co(CO)(4)], [Tp(H(2) )Ni--Co(CO)(3)(PH(3))], and [Tp(H(2) )Ni--RuCp(CO)(2)] prove that the two metal centers are held together not by covalent interactions, but by electrostatic attractions. In other words, the obtained xenophilic complexes can be regarded as carbonylmetalates, in which the cationic counterpart interacts with the metal center rather than the oxygen atom of the carbonyl ligand. The xenophilic complexes show divergent reactivity dependent on the properties of donor molecules. Hard (N and O donors) and soft donors (P and C donors) attack the Tp(R)M part and the ML(n) moiety, respectively. The selectivity has been interpreted in terms of the hard-soft theory, and the reactions of the high-spin species 1-3' with singlet donor molecules should involve a spin-crossover process.  相似文献
