In this paper, we introduce and study a class of differential vector variational inequalities in finite dimensional Euclidean spaces. We establish a relationship between differential vector variational inequalities and differential scalar variational inequalities. Under various conditions, we obtain the existence and linear growth of solutions to the scalar variational inequalities. In particular we prove existence theorems for Carathéodory weak solutions of the differential vector variational inequalities. Furthermore, we give a convergence result on Euler time-dependent procedure for solving the initial-value differential vector variational inequalities.  相似文献

We consider some variational inequality formulations related to density-dependent incompressible fluids. Firstly, we state the density-dependent micropolar model, which let us to introduce a generic (vectorial) differential inequality formulation. Then, two relaxations of this differential inequality will be considered, driving to concepts of weak and generalized solutions (observing that the weak solutions are generalized solutions but the contrary is not clear). Afterwards, under similar conditions imposed to prove the existence of generalized solutions for density-dependent Navier–Stokes equations (see Salvi, Riv Mat Parma 4:453–466, 1982), we prove the existence of weak solutions for this generic problem, which involves several variational inequality problems for viscous density-dependent incompressible fluids.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a (weak) vector equilibrium principle with capacity constraints of arcs. In this paper we consider a new variational model for multiplicative noise removal. We prove the existence and uniqueness of the minimizer for the variational problem. Furthermore, we derive the existence and uniqueness of weak solutions for the associated evolution equation. In this work we combine perturbation arguments and variational methods to study the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for a class of singular p-Laplacian problems. In the first two theorems we prove the existence of solutions in the sense of distributions. We apply a three critical points theorem of B. Ricceri to establish the existence of at least three weak solutions for a class of non-homogeneous Neumann problems. Furthermore, by using another theorem of him, we prove that an appropriate oscillating behaviour of the nonlinear term ensures the existence of infinitely many weak solutions. In this paper, we are interested in the existence of infinitely many weak solutions for a non-homogeneous eigenvalue Dirichlet problem. By using variational methods, in an appropriate Orlicz–Sobolev setting, we determine intervals of parameters such that our problem admits either a sequence of non-negative weak solutions strongly converging to zero provided that the non-linearity has a suitable behaviour at zero or an unbounded sequence of non-negative weak solutions if a similar behaviour occurs at infinity.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the F-implicit generalized (weak) case for vector variational inequalities in real topological vector spaces. Both weak and strong solutions are considered. These two sets of solutions coincide whenever the mapping T is single-valued, but not set-valued. In this paper, we introduce and study a class of differential mixed variational inequalities in finite dimensional Euclidean spaces. Under various conditions, we obtain linear growth and bounded linear growth of the solution set for the mixed variational inequalities. Moreover, we present some conclusions which enrich the literature on the mixed variational inequalities and generalize the corresponding results of [4]. In particular we prove existence theorems for weak solutions of a differential mixed variational inequality in the weak sense of Carathéodory by using a result on differential inclusions involving an upper semicontinuous set-valued map with closed convex values. Also by employing the results from differential inclusions we establish a convergence result on Euler time-dependent procedure for solving initial-value differential mixed variational inequalities.  相似文献

The vector optimization problem may have a nonsmooth objective function. Therefore, we introduce the Minty vector variational inequality (Minty VVI) and the Stampacchia vector variational inequality (Stampacchia VVI) defined by means of upper Dini derivative. By using the Minty VVI, we provide a necessary and sufficient condition for a vector minimal point (v.m.p.) of a vector optimization problem for pseudoconvex functions involving Dini derivatives. We establish the relationship between the Minty VVI and the Stampacchia VVI under upper sign continuity. Some relationships among v.m.p., weak v.m.p., solutions of the Stampacchia VVI and solutions of the Minty VVI are discussed. We present also an existence result for the solutions of the weak Minty VVI and the weak Stampacchia VVI.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the existence of solutions to impulsive problems with a p(t)-Laplacian and Dirichlet boundary value conditions. We introduce two types of solutions, namely a weak and a classical one which coincide because of the fundamental lemma of the calculus of variations. Firstly we investigate the existence of solution to the linear problem, i.e. a problem with a fixed rigth hand side. Then we use a direct variational method and next a mountain pass approach in order to get the existence of at least one weak solution to the nonlinear problem.  相似文献

This paper attempts to generalize and unify several new results that have been obtained in the ongoing research area of existence of solutions for equilibrium problems. First, we propose sufficient conditions, which include generalized monotonicity and weak coercivity conditions, for existence of equilibrium points. As consequences, we generalize various recent theorems on the existence of such solutions. For applications, we treat some generalized variational inequalities and complementarity problems. In addition, considering penalty functions, we study the position of a selected solution by relying on the viscosity principle.  相似文献
