In this paper we consider the system of classical particles coupled with a Klein-Gordon field in two dimensions.We establish a-priori-bounds on the solutions of this system with initial data satisfying a size restriction derived from conservation of energy.This result,together with the smoothing of"velocity averaging",yields the existence of global weak solutions to the corresponding restricted initial value problem.The size restriction is necessary since energy of the system is indefinite.Finally,we show that the weak solutions preserve the total mass.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the global existence and long time behavior of strong solutions for compressible nematic liquid crystal flows in three-dimensional whole space. The global existence of strong solutions is obtained by the standard energy method under the condition that the initial datas are close to the constant equilibrium state in H2-framework. If the initial datas in L1-norm are finite additionally, the optimal time decay rates of strong solutions are established. With the help of Fourier splitting method, one also establishes optimal time decay rates for the higher order spatial derivatives of director.  相似文献

The Riemann problem for the chromatography equations in a conservative form is considered. The global solution is obtained under the assumptions that the initial data are taken to be three piecewise constant states. The wave interaction problems are discussed in detail during the process of constructing global solutions to the perturbed Riemann problem. In this article, we are concerned with the construction of global smooth smallamplitude solutions to the Cauchy problem of the one species Vlasov-Poisson-Boltzmann system near Maxwellians for long-range interactions. Compared with the former result obtained by Duan and Liu in [12] for the two species model, we do not ask the initial perturbation to satisfy the neutral condition and our result covers all physical collision kernels for the full range of intermolecular repulsive potentials.  相似文献

In this paper, by using the generalization of Darbo’s fixed point theorem, we establish the existence of global solutions of an initial value problem for a class of second-order impulsive integro-differential equations of mixed type in a real Banach space. Our results generalize and improve on the results of Guo et al. [F. Guo, L.S. Liu, Y.H. Wu, P. Siew, Global solutions of initial value problems for nonlinear second-order impulsive integro-differential equations of mixed type in Banach spaces, Nonlinear Anal. 61 (2005) 1363–1382] in the sense that the conditions for existence of global solution in our theorem is simpler and less strict. To demonstrate the application of the theorem, we give the global solutions of two mixed boundary value problems for two classes of fourth order impulsive integro-differential equations.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the global existence of weak solutions for a two‐component μ‐Camassa–Holm system in the periodic setting. Global existence for strong solutions to the system with smooth approximate initial value is derived. The global existence and structure of solutions to multi-dimensional pressure-gradient system has some open problems. In this paper, we construct global classical solutions to the interaction of four planar rarefaction waves with two axes of symmetry for the pressure-gradient system in two space dimensions. The bi-symmetric initial data is a basic type of four-wave two-dimensional Riemann problems. The solutions in this case are continuous, bounded and self-similar.  相似文献

In this paper we study the problem of the global existence(in time) of weak,entropic solutions to a system of three hyperbolic conservation laws, in one space dimension,for large initial data. The system models the dynamics of phase transitions in an isothermal fluid; in Lagrangian coordinates, the phase interfaces are represented as stationary contact discontinuities. We focus on the persistence of solutions consisting in three bulk phases separated by two interfaces. Under some stability conditions on the phase configuration and by a suitable front tracking algorithm we show that, if the BV-norm of the initial data is less than an explicit(large) threshold, then the Cauchy problem has global solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, we show that, for the three dimensional incompressible magnetohydro-dynamic equations, there exists only trivial backward self-similar solution in L^p(R^3) for p ≥ 3, under some smallness assumption on either the kinetic energy of the self-similar solution related to the velocity field, or the magnetic field. Second, we construct a class of global unique forward self-similar solutions to the three-dimensional MHD equations with small initial data in some sense, being homogeneous of degree -1 and belonging to some Besov space, or the Lorentz space or pseudo-measure space, as motivated by the work in [5].  相似文献
