This paper addresses the problem of projective synchronization of chaotic systems and switched chaotic systems by adaptive control methods. First, a necessary and sufficient condition is proposed to show how many state variables can realize projective synchronization under a linear feedback controller for the chaotic systems. Then, accordingly, a new algorithm is given to select all state variables that can realize projective synchronization. Furthermore, according to the results of the projective synchronization of chaotic systems, the problem of projective synchronization of the switched chaotic systems comprised by the unified chaotic systems is investigated, and an adaptive global linear feedback controller with only one input channel is designed, which can realize the projective synchronization under the arbitrary switching law. It is worth mentioning that the proposed method can also realize complete synchronization of the switched chaotic systems. Finally, the numerical simulation results verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, a practical projective synchronization problem of master–slave chaotic systems is investigated. More specifically, a fuzzy adaptive slave chaotic system subject to dead-zone nonlinearity in the input channel is proposed using only the measurable output of the master system thanks to a suitable observer. A practical projective synchronization between the master and slave systems is achieved by an adequate fuzzy adaptive control system. The underlying parameter adaptation design as well as stability analysis are carried out using a Lyapunov based approach. Unlike the previous works, in the design of the proposed synchronization scheme, we do not require to know the uncertainties function and that the dynamics of the original synchronization error are strictly positive real (SPR). In fact, herein, the uncertainties function is estimated by a fuzzy adaptive system and the dynamics of the original synchronization error are augmented by a low pass filter designed to satisfy the SPR condition. Simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed practical projective synchronization scheme.  相似文献

In this work, the feedback control method is proposed to control the behaviour of Liu chaotic dynamical system. The controlled system is stable under some conditions on the parameters of the system determined by Routh-Hurwitz criterion. This paper also presents the adaptive modified function projective synchronization (AMFPS) between two identical Liu chaotic dynamical systems. Based on the Lyapunov stability theorem, adaptive control laws are designed to achieving the AMFPS. Finally, some numerical simulations are obtained to validate the proposed methods.  相似文献

This article aims to introduce a projective synchronization approach based on adaptive fuzzy control for a class of perturbed uncertain multivariable nonaffine chaotic systems. The fuzzy‐logic systems are employed to approximate online the uncertain functions. A Lyapunov approach is used to design the parameter adaptation laws and to demonstrate the boundedness of all signals of the closed‐loop system as well as the convergence of the synchronization errors to bounded residual sets. Finally, numerical simulation results are presented to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed synchronization system based on fuzzy adaptive controller. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This article investigates the function projective synchronization (FPS) for a class of time‐delay chaotic system via nonlinear adaptive‐impulsive control. To achieve the FPS, suitable nonlinear continuous and impulsive controllers are designed based on adaptive control theory and impulsive control theory. Using the generalized Babarlat's lemma, a general condition is given to ensure the FPS. Here, the time‐delay chaotic system is assumed to satisfy the Lipschitz condition while the Lipschitz constants are estimated by augmented adaptation equations. In this paper, an adaptive controller is designed to ensure robust synchronization of two different chaotic systems with input nonlinearities. For this purpose, a stable sliding surface is defined and an adaptive sliding mode controller is designed to achieve robust synchronization of the systems when the control input is influenced through nonlinearities produced by actuator or external uncertainty recourses. The adaptation law guarantees the synchronization assuming of unknown model uncertainty. Furthermore by adding an integrator and incorporating a saturation function in the control law, the chattering phenomenon caused by the sign function is avoided. The simulation results for synchronization of Chua’s circuit and Genesio systems show the efficiency of the proposed technique.  相似文献

This paper investigates the modified function projective synchronization (MFPS) between two different dimensional chaotic systems with fully unknown or partially unknown parameters via increased order. Based on the Lyapunov stability theorem and adaptive control method, a unified adaptive controller and parameters update law can be designed for achieving the MFPS of the two different chaotic systems with different orders. Chaos synchronization is a procedure where one chaotic oscillator is forced to adjust the properties of another chaotic oscillator for all future states. This research paper studies and investigates the global chaos synchronization problem of two identical chaotic systems and two non‐identical chaotic systems using the linear active control technique. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory and using the linear active control technique, the stabilizing controllers are designed for asymptotically global stability of the closed‐loop system for both identical and non‐identical synchronization. This article investigates the chaos control problem for the fractional‐order chaotic systems containing unknown structure and input nonlinearities. Two types of nonlinearity in the control input are considered. In the first case, a general continuous nonlinearity input is supposed in the controller, and in the second case, the unknown dead‐zone input is included. In each case, a proper switching adaptive controller is introduced to stabilize the fractional‐order chaotic system in the presence of unknown parameters and uncertainties. The control methods are designed based on the boundedness property of the chaotic system's states, where, in the proposed methods the nonlinear/linear dynamic terms of the fractional‐order chaotic systems are assumed to be fully unknown. The analytical results of the mentioned techniques are proved by the stability analysis theorem of fractional‐order systems and the adaptive control method. In addition, as an application of the proposed methods, single input adaptive controllers are adopted for control of a class of three‐dimensional nonlinear fractional‐order chaotic systems. In this paper, a novel projective synchronization scheme called adaptive generalized function projective lag synchronization (AGFPLS) is proposed. In the AGFPLS method, the states of two different chaotic systems with fully uncertain parameters are asymptotically lag synchronized up to a desired scaling function matrix. By means of the Lyapunov stability theory, an adaptive controller with corresponding parameter update rule is designed for achieving AGFPLS between two diverse chaotic systems and estimating the unknown parameters. This technique is employed to realize AGFPLS between uncertain Lü chaotic system and uncertain Liu chaotic system, and between Chen hyperchaotic system and Lorenz hyperchaotic system with fully uncertain parameters, respectively. Furthermore, AGFPLS between two different uncertain chaotic systems can still be achieved effectively with the existence of noise perturbation. The corresponding numerical simulations are performed to demonstrate the validity and robustness of the presented synchronization method.  相似文献

This article addresses the adaptive control of chaotic systems with unknown parameters, model uncertainties, and external disturbance. We first investigate the control of a class of chaotic systems and then discuss the control of general chaotic systems. Based on the backstepping‐like procedure, some novel criteria are proposed via adaptive control scheme. As an example to illustrate the application of the proposed method, the control and synchronization of the modified Chua's chaotic system is also investigated via a single input. In this paper, a novel fractional‐integer integral type sliding mode technique for control and generalized function projective synchronization of different fractional‐order chaotic systems with different dimensions in the presence of disturbances is presented. When the upper bounds of the disturbances are known, a sliding mode control rule is proposed to insure the existence of the sliding motion in finite time. Furthermore, an adaptive sliding mode control is designed when the upper bounds of the disturbances are unknown. The stability analysis of sliding mode surface is given using the Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, the results performed for synchronization of three‐dimensional fractional‐order chaotic Hindmarsh‐Rose (HR) neuron model and two‐dimensional fractional‐order chaotic FitzHugh‐Nagumo (FHN) neuron model.  相似文献

This paper mainly investigates adaptive generalized function projective synchronization of two different uncertain chaotic systems, which is a further extension of many existing projection synchronization schemes, such as modified projection synchronization, function projective synchronization and so on. On the basis of Lyapunov stability theory, an adaptive controller for the synchronization of two different chaotic systems is designed, and some parameter update laws for estimating the unknown parameters of the systems are also gained. This technique is applied to achieve synchronization between Lorenz and Rössler chaotic systems. The numerical simulations demonstrate the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.  相似文献

This work is involved with switched modified function projective synchronization of two identical Qi hyperchaotic systems using adaptive control method. Switched synchronization of chaotic systems in which a state variable of the drive system synchronize with a different state variable of the response system is a promising type of synchronization as it provides greater security in secure communication. Modified function projective synchronization with the unpredictability of scaling functions can enhance security. Recently formulated hyperchaotic Qi system in the hyperchaotic mode has an extremely broad frequency bandwidth of high magnitudes, verifying its unusual random nature and indicating its great potential for some relevant engineering applications such as secure communications. By Lyapunove stability theory, the adaptive control law and the parameter update law are derived to make the state of two chaotic systems modified function projective synchronized. Synchronization under the effect of noise is also considered. Numerical simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive controllers.  相似文献

The present article aims to study the projective synchronization between two identical and non?identical time?delayed chaotic systems with fully unknown parameters. Here the asymptotical and global synchronization are achieved by means of adaptive control approach based on Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional theory. The proposed technique is successfully applied to investigate the projective synchronization for the pairs of time?delayed chaotic systems amongst advanced Lorenz system as drive system with multiple delay Rössler system and time?delayed Chua's oscillator as response system. An adaptive controller and parameter update laws for unknown parameters are designed so that the drive system is controlled to be the response system. Numerical simulation results, depicted graphically, are carried out using Runge–Kutta Method for delay?differential equations, showing that the design of controller and the adaptive parameter laws are very effective and reliable and can be applied for synchronization of time?delayed chaotic systems. The single input linear feedback control for synchronizing two identical new 3D chaotic flows reported by Li et al. [X.F. Li, K.E. Chlouverakis, D.L. Xu, Nonlinear dynamics and circuit realization of a new chaotic flow: a variant of Lorenz, Chen and Lü, Nonlinear Analysis RWA 10 (4) (2009) 2357-2368] is proposed in this paper. Sufficient conditions of synchronization are obtained for both linear feedback and adaptive control approaches. The problem of adaptive synchronization between two nearly identical chaotic systems with unknown parameters is also studied. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, two kinds of single input adaptive synchronization controllers are designed and the adaptive parameter update laws are developed.  相似文献

This paper proposes two novel adaptive variable structure tracking controllers for a large class of chaotic systems with unknown dynamics in presence of both external disturbances and input nonlinearities. The pros and cons of each proposed methodology is also represented. In order to eliminate the chattering effect in the former controlled system, two corresponding fuzzy adaptive controllers are presented. Besides, synchronization of two non-identical uncertain chaotic systems is investigated using our proposed methods in both full and reduced-order forms. It can be seen that not only our proposed control schemes can be applied to a wide class of uncertain chaotic systems but also it is simple to implement in practical application. Finally, the proposed methods are applied to some famous chaotic systems to verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods.  相似文献
