Dibenz[b,f]azepine (DBA) is a privileged 6‐7‐6 tricyclic ring system of importance in both organic and medicinal chemistry. Benzo[b]pyrimido[5,4‐f]azepines (BPAs), which also contain a privileged 6‐7‐6 ring system, are less well investigated, probably because of a lack of straightforward and versatile methods for their synthesis. A simple and versatile synthetic approach to BPAs based on intramolecular Friedel–Crafts alkylation has been developed. A group of closely‐related benzo[b]pyrimido[5,4‐f]azepine derivatives, namely (6RS)‐4‐chloro‐6,11‐dimethyl‐6,11‐dihydro‐5H‐benzo[b]pyrimido[5,4‐f]azepine, C14H14ClN3, (I), (6RS)‐4‐chloro‐8‐hydroxy‐6,11‐dimethyl‐6,11‐dihydro‐5H‐benzo[b]pyrimido[5,4‐f]azepine, C14H14ClN3O, (II), (6RS)‐4‐<!?tlsb=‐0.14pt>chloro‐8‐methoxy‐6,11‐dimethyl‐6,11‐dihydro‐5H‐benzo[b]pyrimido[5,4‐f]azepine, C15H16ClN3O, (III), and (6RS)‐4‐chloro‐8‐methoxy‐6,11‐dimethyl‐2‐phenyl‐6,11‐dihydro‐5H‐benzo[b]pyrimido[5,4‐f]azepine, C21H20ClN3O, (IV), has been prepared and their structures compared with the recently published structure [Acosta‐Quintero et al. (2015). Eur. J. Org. Chem. pp. 5360–5369] of (6RS)‐4‐chloro‐2,6,8,11‐tetramethyl‐6,11‐dihydro‐5H‐benzo[b]pyrimido[5,4‐f]azepine, (V). All five compounds crystallize as racemic mixtures and they have very similar molecular conformations, with the azepine ring adopting a boat‐type conformation in each case, although the orientation of the methoxy substituent in each of (III) and (IV) is different. The supramolecular assemblies in (II) and (IV) depend upon hydrogen bonds of the O—H...N and C—H...π(arene) types, respectively, those in (I) and (V) depend upon π–π stacking interactions involving pairs of pyrimidine rings, and that in (III) depends upon a π–π stacking interaction involving pairs of phenyl rings. Short C—Cl...π(pyrimidine) contacts are present in (I), (II) and (IV) but not in (III) or (V).  相似文献

A versatile synthetic method has been developed for the formation of variously substituted polycyclic pyrimidoazepine derivatives, formed by nucleophilic substitution reactions on the corresponding chloro‐substituted compounds; the reactions can be promoted either by conventional heating in basic solutions or by microwave heating in solvent‐free systems. Thus, (6RS)‐6,11‐dimethyl‐3,5,6,11‐tetrahydro‐4H‐benzo[b]pyrimido[5,4‐f]azepin‐4‐one, C14H15N3O, (I), was isolated from a solution containing (6RS)‐4‐chloro‐8‐hydroxy‐6,11‐dimethyl‐6,11‐dihydro‐5H‐benzo[b]pyrimido[5,4‐f]azepine and benzene‐1,2‐diamine; (6RS)‐4‐butoxy‐6,11‐dimethyl‐6,11‐dihydro‐5H‐benzo[b]pyrimido[5,4‐f]azepin‐8‐ol, C18H23N3O2, (II), was formed by reaction of the corresponding 6‐chloro compound with butanol, and (RS)‐4‐dimethylamino‐6,11‐dimethyl‐6,11‐dihydro‐5H‐benzo[b]pyrimido[5,4‐f]azepin‐8‐ol, C16H20N4O, (III), was formed by reaction of the chloro analogue with alkaline dimethylformamide. (6RS)‐N‐Benzyl‐8‐methoxy‐6,11‐dimethyl‐6,11‐dihydro‐5H‐benzo[b]pyrimido[5,4‐f]azepin‐4‐amine, C22H24N4O, (IV), (6RS)‐N‐benzyl‐6‐methyl‐1,2,6,7‐tetrahydropyrimido[5′,4′:6,7]azepino[3,2,1‐hi]indol‐8‐amine, C22H22N4, (V), and (7RS)‐N‐benzyl‐7‐methyl‐2,3,7,8‐tetrahydro‐1H‐pyrimido[5′,4′:6,7]azepino[3,2,1‐ij]quinolin‐9‐amine, C23H24N4, (VI), were all formed by reaction of the corresponding chloro compounds with benzylamine under microwave irradiation. In each of compounds (I)–(IV) and (VI), the azepine ring adopts a conformation close to the boat form, with the C‐methyl group in a quasi‐equatorial site, whereas the corresponding ring in (V) adopts a conformation intermediate between the twist‐boat and twist‐chair forms, with the C‐methyl group in a quasi‐axial site. No two of the structures of (I)–(VI) exhibit the same range of intermolecular hydrogen bonds: different types of sheet are formed in each of (I), (II), (V) and (VI), and different types of chain in each of (III) and (IV).  相似文献

Six closely related pyrazolo[3,4‐b]pyridine derivatives, namely 6‐chloro‐3‐methyl‐1,4‐diphenylpyrazolo[3,4‐b]pyridine‐5‐carbaldehyde, C20H14ClN3O, (I), 6‐chloro‐3‐methyl‐4‐(4‐methylphenyl)‐1‐phenylpyrazolo[3,4‐b]pyridine‐5‐carbaldehyde, C21H16ClN3O, (II), 6‐chloro‐4‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐3‐methyl‐1‐phenylpyrazolo[3,4‐b]pyridine‐5‐carbaldehyde, C20H13Cl2N3O, (III), 4‐(4‐bromophenyl)‐6‐chloro‐3‐methyl‐1‐phenylpyrazolo[3,4‐b]pyridine‐5‐carbaldehyde, C20H13BrClN3O, (IV), 6‐chloro‐4‐(4‐methoxyphenyl)‐3‐methyl‐1‐phenylpyrazolo[3,4‐b]pyridine‐5‐carbaldehyde, C21H16ClN3O2, (V), and 6‐chloro‐3‐methyl‐4‐(4‐nitrophenyl)‐1‐phenylpyrazolo[3,4‐b]pyridine‐5‐carbaldehyde, C20H13ClN4O3, (VI), which differ only in the identity of a single small substituent on one of the aryl rings, crystallize in four different space groups spanning three crystal systems. The molecules of (I) are linked into a chain of rings by a combination of C—H...N and C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds; those of (II), (IV) and (V), which all crystallize in the space group P, are each linked by two independent C—H...O hydrogen bonds to form chains of edge‐fused rings running in different directions through the three unit cells; the molecules of (III) are linked into complex sheets by a combination of two C—H...O hydrogen bonds and one C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bond; finally, the molecules of (VI) are linked by a single C—H...O hydrogen bond to form a simple chain.  相似文献

A concise, efficient and versatile route from simple starting materials to tricyclic tetrahydro‐1‐benzazepines carrying [a]‐fused heterocyclic units is reported. Thus, the easily accessible methyl 2‐[(2‐allyl‐4‐chlorophenyl)amino]acetate, (I), was converted, via (2RS,4SR)‐7‐chloro‐2,3,4,5‐tetrahydro‐1,4‐epoxy‐1‐benzo[b]azepine‐2‐carboxylate, (II), to the key intermediate methyl (2RS,4SR)‐7‐chloro‐4‐hydroxy‐2,3,4,5‐tetrahydro‐1H‐benzo[b]azepine‐2‐carboxylate, (III). Chloroacetylation of (III) provided the two regioisomers methyl (2RS,4SR)‐7‐chloro‐1‐(2‐chloroacetyl)‐4‐hydroxy‐2,3,4,5‐tetrahydro‐1H‐benzo[b]azepine‐2‐carboxylate, (IVa), and methyl (2RS,4SR)‐7‐chloro‐4‐(2‐chloroacetoxy)‐2,3,4,5‐tetrahydro‐1H‐benzo[b]azepine‐2‐carboxylate, C14H15Cl2NO4, (IVb), as the major and minor products, respectively, and further reaction of (IVa) with aminoethanol gave the tricyclic target compound (4aRS,6SR)‐9‐chloro‐6‐hydroxy‐3‐(2‐hydroxyethyl)‐2,3,4a,5,6,7‐hexahydrobenzo[f]pyrazino[1,2‐a]azepine‐1,4‐dione, C15H17ClN2O4, (V). Reaction of ester (III) with hydrazine hydrate gave the corresponding carbohydrazide (VI), which, with trimethoxymethane, gave a second tricyclic target product, (4aRS,6SR)‐9‐chloro‐6‐hydroxy‐4a,5,6,7‐tetrahydrobenzo[f][1,2,4]triazino[4,5‐a]azepin‐4(3H)‐one, C12H12ClN3O2, (VII). Full spectroscopic characterization (IR, 1H and 13C NMR, and mass spectrometry) is reported for each of compounds (I)–(III), (IVa), (IVb) and (V)–(VII), along with the molecular and supramolecular structures of (IVb), (V) and (VII). In each of (IVb), (V) and (VII), the azepine ring adopts a chair conformation and the six‐membered heterocyclic rings in (V) and (VII) adopt approximate boat forms. The molecules in (IVb), (V) and (VII) are linked, in each case, into complex hydrogen‐bonded sheets, but these sheets all contain a different range of hydrogen‐bond types: N—H…O, C—H…O, C—H…N and C—H…π(arene) in (IVb), multiple C—H…O hydrogen bonds in (V), and N—H…N, O—H…O, C—H…N, C—H…O and C—H…π(arene) in (VII).  相似文献

In the molecules of both methyl (1RS,3SR,3aRS,6aSR)‐1‐methyl‐3‐(3‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)‐4,6‐dioxo‐5‐phenyloctahydropyrrolo[3,4‐c]pyrrole‐1‐carboxylate, C25H24N4O4, (I), and methyl (1RS,3SR,3aRS,6aSR)‐5‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐1‐methyl‐3‐(3‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl)‐4,6‐dioxooctahydropyrrolo[3,4‐c]pyrrole‐1‐carboxylate, C25H23ClN4O4, (II), the two rings of the pyrrolopyrrole fragment are both nonplanar, with conformations close to half‐chair forms. The overall conformations of the molecules of (I) and (II) are very similar, apart from the orientation of the ester function. The molecules of (I) are linked into sheets by a combination of an N—H...π(pyrrole) hydrogen bond and three independent C—H...O hydrogen bonds. The molecules of (II) are also linked into sheets, which are generated by a combination of an N—H...N hydrogen bond and two independent C—H...O hydrogen bonds, weakly augmented by a C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bond.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of three new dispiro[indoline‐3,3′‐pyrrolizine‐1′,5′′‐thiazolidine] compounds are reported, together with the crystal structures of two of them. (3RS,1′SR,2′SR,7a′SR)‐2′‐(4‐Chlorophenyl)‐1‐hexyl‐2′′‐sulfanylidene‐5′,6′,7′,7a′‐tetrahydro‐2′H‐dispiro[indoline‐3,3′‐pyrrolizine‐1′,5′′‐thiazolidine]‐2,4′′‐dione, C28H30ClN3O2S2, (I), (3RS,1′SR,2′SR,7a′SR)‐2′‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐1‐benzyl‐5‐methyl‐2′′‐sulfanylidene‐5′,6′,7′,7a′‐tetrahydro‐2′H‐dispiro[indoline‐3,3′‐pyrrolizine‐1′,5′′‐thiazolidine]‐2,4′′‐dione, C30H26ClN3O2S2, (II), and (3RS,1′SR,2′SR,7a′SR)‐2′‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐5‐fluoro‐2′′‐sulfanylidene‐5′,6′,7′,7a′‐tetrahydro‐2′H‐dispiro[indoline‐3,3′‐pyrrolizine‐1′,5′′‐thiazolidine]‐2,4′′‐dione, C22H17ClFN3O2S2, (III), were each isolated as a single regioisomer using a one‐pot reaction involving l ‐proline, a substituted isatin and (Z)‐5‐(4‐chlorobenzylidene)‐2‐sulfanylidenethiazolidin‐4‐one [5‐(4‐chlorobenzylidene)rhodanine]. The compositions of (I)–(III) were established by elemental analysis, complemented by high‐resolution mass spectrometry in the case of (I); their constitutions, including the definition of the regiochemistry, were established using NMR spectroscopy, and the relative configurations at the four stereogenic centres were established using single‐crystal X‐ray structure analysis. A possible reaction mechanism for the formation of (I)–(III) is proposed, based on the detailed stereochemistry. The molecules of (I) are linked into simple chains by a single N—H…N hydrogen bond, those of (II) are linked into a chain of rings by a combination of N—H…O and C—H…S=C hydrogen bonds, and those of (III) are linked into sheets by a combination of N—H…N and N—H…S=C hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

In the crystal structures of the two imidazole derivatives 5‐chloro‐1,2‐dimethyl‐4‐nitro‐1H‐imidazole, C5H6ClN3O2, (I), and 2‐chloro‐1‐methyl‐4‐nitro‐1H‐imidazole, C4H4ClN3O2, (II), C—Cl...O halogen bonds are the principal specific interactions responsible for the crystal packing. Two different halogen‐bond modes are observed: in (I), there is one very short and directional C—Cl...O contact [Cl...O = 2.899 (1) Å], while in (II), the C—Cl group approaches two different O atoms from two different molecules, and the contacts are longer [3.285 (2) and 3.498 (2) Å] and less directional. In (I), relatively short C—H...O hydrogen bonds provide the secondary interactions for building the crystal structure; in (II), the C—H...O contacts are longer but there is a relatively short π–π contact between molecules related by a centre of symmetry. The molecule of (I) is almost planar, the plane of the nitro group making a dihedral angle of 6.97 (7)° with the mean plane of the imidazole ring. The molecule of (II) has crystallographically imposed mirror symmetry and the nitro group lies in the mirror plane.  相似文献

Crystal structures are reported for four related diethyl [(arylamino)(4‐ethynylphenyl)lmethyl]phosphonate derivatives, namely diethyl [(4‐bromoanilino)(4‐ethynylphenyl)methyl]phosphonate, C19H21BrNO3P, (I), diethyl ((4‐chloro‐2‐methylanilino){4‐[2‐(trimethylsilyl)ethynyl]phenyl}methyl)phosphonate, C23H31ClNO3PSi, (II), diethyl ((4‐fluoroanilino){4‐[2‐(trimethylsilyl)ethynyl]phenyl}methyl)phosphonate, C22H29FNO3PSi, (III), and diethyl [(4‐ethynylphenyl)(naphthalen‐2‐ylamino)methyl]phosphonate, C23H24NO3P, (IV). The conformation of the anilinobenzyl group is very similar in all four compounds. The P—C bond has an approximately staggered conformation, with the aniline and ethynylphenyl groups in gauche positions with respect to the P=O double bond. The two six‐membered rings are almost perpendicular. The sums of the valence angles about the N atoms vary from 344 (2) to 351 (2)°. In the crystal structures, molecules of (I), (III) and (IV) are arranged as centrosymmetric or pseudocentrosymmetric dimers connected by two N—H...O=P hydrogen bonds. The molecules of (II) are arranged as centrosymmetric dimers connected by Cmethyl—H...O=P hydrogen bonds. The N—H bond of (II) is not involved in hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

The title isomers, namely 3‐chloro‐N‐[1‐(1H‐pyrrol‐2‐yl)ethylidene]aniline, (I), and 4‐chloro‐N‐[1‐(1H‐pyrrol‐2‐yl)ethylidene]aniline, (II), both C12H11ClN2, differ in the position of the chlorine substitution. Both compounds have the basic iminopyrrole structure, which shows a planar backbone with similar features. The dihedral angle formed by the planes of the pyrrole and benzene rings is 75.65 (7)° for (I) and 86.56 (8)° for (II). The H atom bound to the pyrrole N atom is positionally disordered and partial protonation occurs at the imino N atom in (I), while this phenomenon is absent from the structure of (II). Packing interactions for both compounds include intermolecular N—H...N hydrogen bonds and C—H...π interactions, forming centrosymmetric dimers for both (I) and (II).  相似文献

The reaction of 5‐chloro‐3‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole‐4‐carbaldehyde with phenols under basic conditions yields the corresponding 5‐aryloxy derivatives; the subsequent reaction of these carbaldehydes with substituted acetophenones yields the corresponding chalcones, which in turn undergo cyclocondensation reactions with hydrazine in the presence of acetic acid to form N‐acetylated reduced bipyrazoles. Structures are reported for three 5‐aryloxycarbaldehydes and the 5‐piperidino analogue, and for two reduced bipyrazole products. 5‐(2‐Chlorophenoxy)‐3‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole‐4‐carbaldehyde, C17H13ClN2O2, (II), which crystallizes with Z′ = 2 in the space group P, exhibits orientational disorder of the carbaldehyde group in each of the two independent molecules. Each of 3‐methyl‐5‐(4‐nitrophenoxy)‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole‐4‐carbaldehyde, C17H13N3O4, (IV), 3‐methyl‐5‐(naphthalen‐2‐yloxy)‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole‐4‐carbaldehyde, C21H16N2O2, (V), and 3‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐5‐(piperidin‐1‐yl)‐1H‐pyrazole‐4‐carbaldehyde, C16H19N3O, (VI), (3RS)‐2‐acetyl‐5‐(4‐azidophenyl)‐5′‐(2‐chlorophenoxy)‐3′‐methyl‐1′‐phenyl‐3,4‐dihydro‐1′H,2H‐[3,4′‐bipyrazole] C27H22ClN7O2, (IX) and (3RS)‐2‐acetyl‐5‐(4‐azidophenyl)‐3′‐methyl‐5′‐(naphthalen‐2‐yloxy)‐1′‐phenyl‐3,4‐dihydro‐1′H,2H‐[3,4′‐bipyrazole] C31H25N7O2, (X), has Z′ = 1, and each is fully ordered. The new compounds have all been fully characterized by analysis, namely IR spectroscopy, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. In each of (II), (V) and (IX), the molecules are linked into ribbons, generated respectively by combinations of C—H…N, C—H…π and C—Cl…π interactions in (II), C—H…O and C—H…π hydrogen bonds in (V), and C—H…N and C—H…O hydrogen bonds in (IX). The molecules of compounds (IV) and (IX) are both linked into sheets, by multiple C—H…O and C—H…π hydrogen bonds in (IV), and by two C—H…π hydrogen bonds in (IX). A single C—H…N hydrogen bond links the molecules of (X) into centrosymmetric dimers. Comparisons are made with the structures of some related compounds.  相似文献

In both 2,5‐dimethyl‐6,7‐dihydrobenzo[h]pyrazolo[1,5‐a]quinazoline, C16H15N3, (I), and 2‐tert‐butyl‐5‐methyl‐6,7‐dihydrobenzo[h]pyrazolo[1,5‐a]quinazoline, C19H21N3, (II), which crystallizes with Z′ = 2 in the space group P, the non‐aromatic carbocyclic rings adopt screw‐boat conformations. The molecules of (I) are linked into chains of rings by a combination of C—H...N and C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds, while in (II) there are no hydrogen bonds of any kind.  相似文献

2‐Amino‐4‐chloro‐5‐formyl‐6‐[methyl(2‐methylphenyl)amino]pyrimidine, C13H13ClN4O, (I), and 2‐amino‐4‐chloro‐5‐formyl‐6‐[(2‐methoxyphenyl)methylamino]pyrimidine, C13H13ClN4O2, (II), are isostructural and essentially isomorphous. Although the pyrimidine rings in each compound are planar, the ring‐substituent atoms show significant displacements from this plane, and the bond distances provide evidence for polarization of the electronic structures. In each compound, a combination of N—H...N and N—H...O hydrogen bonds links the molecules into sheets built from centrosymmetric R22(8) and R66(32) rings. The significance of this study lies in its observation of the isostructural nature of (I) and (II), and in the comparison of their crystal and molecular structures with those of analogous compounds.  相似文献

In (1R,3S)‐6,7‐dimethoxy‐3‐(methoxydiphenylmethyl)‐1‐phenyl‐1,2,3,4‐tetrahydroisoquinoline, C31H31NO3, (I), and (1R,3S)‐2‐benzyl‐3‐[diphenyl(trimethylsiloxy)methyl]‐6,7‐dimethoxy‐1‐phenyl‐1,2,3,4‐tetrahydroisoquinoline, C40H43NO3Si, (II), the absolute configurations have been confirmed to be R and S at the isoquinoline 1‐ and 3‐positions, respectively, by NMR spectroscopy experiments. Both structures have monoclinic (P21) symmetry and the N‐containing six‐membered ring assumes a half‐chair conformation. The asymmetric unit of (I) contains one molecule, while (II) has two molecules within the asymmetric unit. These structures are of interest with respect to the conformation around the exocyclic C—C bond: (I) displays an ap (antiperiplanar) conformation, while (II) displays an sc‐exo (synclinal) conformation around this bond. These conformations are significant for stereocontrol when these compounds are used as catalysts. Various C—H...π and C—H...O bonds link the molecules together in the crystal structure of (I). In the crystal structure of (II), three intermolecular C—H...π hydrogen bonds help to establish the packing.  相似文献

Four imidazo[2,1‐b][1,3,4]thiadiazoles containing a simply‐substituted 6‐aryl group have been synthesized by reaction of 2‐amino‐1,3,4‐thiadiazoles with bromoacetylarenes using microwave irradiation and brief reaction times. 6‐(2‐Chlorophenyl)imidazo[2,1‐b][1,3,4]thiadiazole, C10H6ClN3S, (I), 6‐(2‐chlorophenyl)‐2‐methylimidazo[2,1‐b][1,3,4]thiadiazole, C11H8ClN3S, (II), 6‐(3,4‐dichlorophenyl)imidazo[2,1‐b][1,3,4]thiadiazole, C10H5Cl2N3S, (III), and 6‐(4‐fluoro‐3‐methoxyphenyl)‐2‐methylimidazo[2,1‐b][1,3,4]thiadiazole, C12H10FN3OS, (IV), crystallize with Z′ values of 2, 1, 1 and 2 respectively. The molecular skeletons are all nearly planar and the dihedral angles between the imidazole and aryl rings are 1.51 (8) and 7.28 (8)° in (I), 9.65 (7)° in (II), 10.44 (8)° in (III), and 1.05 (8) and 7.21 (8)° in (IV). The molecules in (I) are linked by three independent C—H...N hydrogen bonds to form ribbons containing alternating R22(8) and R44(18) rings, and these ribbons are linked into a three‐dimensional array by three independent π‐stacking interactions. Both (II) and (III) contain centrosymmetric dimers formed by π‐stacking interactions but hydrogen bonds are absent, and the molecules of (IV) are linked into centrosymmetric R22(8) dimers by C—H...N hydrogen bonds. Comparisons are made with a number of related compounds.  相似文献

The biological potential of compounds of the tricyclic dibenzo[b ,e ]azepine system has resulted in considerable synthetic efforts to develop efficient methods for the synthesis of new derivatives of this kind. (9RS ,15RS )‐9‐Ethyl‐11‐methyl‐9,13b‐dihydrodibenzo[c ,f ]thiazolo[3,2‐a ]azepin‐3(2H )‐one, C19H19NOS, (I), crystallizes as a kryptoracemate with Z ′ = 2 in the space group P 21, with one molecule each of the (9R ,15R ) and (9S ,15S ) configurations in the asymmetric unit, while (9RS ,15RS )‐9‐ethyl‐7,12‐dimethyl‐9,13b‐dihydrodibenzo[c ,f ]thiazolo[3,2‐a ]azepin‐3(2H )‐one, C20H21NOS, (II), crystallizes with Z ′ = 1 in the space group C 2/c . Ethyl (13RS )‐2‐chloro‐13‐ethyl‐4‐oxo‐8,13‐dihydro‐4H‐benzo[5,6]azepino[3,2,1‐ij ]quinoline‐5‐carboxylate, C22H20ClNO3, (III), exhibits enantiomeric disorder in the space group P such that the reference site is occupied by the 13R and 13S enantiomers, with occupancies of 0.900 (6) and 0.100 (6). In each of the two independent molecules in (I), the five‐membered ring adopts an envelope conformation, but the corresponding ring in (II) adopts a half‐chair conformation, while the six‐membered ring in the major form of (III) adopts a twist‐boat conformation. The conformation of the seven‐membered ring in each of (I), (II) and the major form of (III) approximates to the twist‐boat form. The molecules of compound (I) are linked by two C—H…O hydrogen bonds to form two independent antiparallel C (5) chains, with each type containing only one enantiomer. These chains are linked into sheets by two C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bonds, in which the two donors are both provided by the (9R ,15R ) enantiomer and the two acceptor arene rings form part of a molecule of (9S ,15S ) configuration, precluding any additional crystallographic symmetry. The molecules of compound (II) are linked by inversion‐related C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bonds to form isolated cyclic centrosymmetric dimers. The molecules of compound (III) are linked into cyclic centrosymmetric dimers by C—H…O hydrogen bonds and these dimers are linked into chains by a π–π stacking interaction. Comparisons are made with some related structures.  相似文献

4‐Chloro‐5‐(2‐phenoxyethoxy)phthalonitrile, C16H11ClN2O2, (I), and 4‐chloro‐5‐[2‐(pentafluorophenoxy)ethoxy]phthalonitrile, C16H6ClF5N2O2, (II), show different types of electrostatic interaction. In (I), the phenoxy and phthalonitrile (benzene‐1,2‐dicarbonitrile) moieties are well separated in an open conformation and intermolecular C—H...π interactions are observed in the crystal packing. On the other hand, in (II), the pentafluorophenoxy moiety interacts closely with the Cl atom to form a folded conformation containing an intramolecular halogen–π interaction.  相似文献

In the molecule of 4‐(2‐chlorophenyl)pyrrolo[1,2‐a]quinoxaline, C17H11ClN2, (I), the bond lengths are consistent with electron delocalization in the two outer rings of the fused tricyclic system, with a localized double bond in the central ring. The molecules of (I) are linked into chains by a π–π stacking interaction. In (4RS)‐4‐(1,3‐benzodioxol‐6‐yl)‐4,5‐dihydropyrrolo[1,2‐a]quinoxaline, C18H14N2O2, (II), the central ring of the fused tricyclic system adopts a conformation intermediate between screw‐boat and half‐chair forms. A combination of N—H...O and C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds links the molecules of (II) into a sheet. Comparisons are made with related compounds.  相似文献

3‐tert‐Butyl‐7‐(4‐chlorobenzyl)‐4′,4′‐dimethyl‐1‐phenyl‐4,5,6,7‐tetrahydro‐1H‐pyrazolo[3,4‐b]pyridine‐5‐spiro‐1′‐cyclohexane‐2′,6′‐dione ethanol hemisolvate, C30H34ClN3O2·0.5C2H6O, (I), its 7‐(4‐bromobenzyl)‐ analogue, C30H34BrN3O2·0.5C2H6O, (II), and its 7‐(4‐methylbenzyl)‐ analogue, C31H37N3O2·0.5C2H6O, (III), are isomorphous, with the ethanol component disordered across a twofold rotation axis in the space group C2/c. In the corresponding 7‐[4‐(trifluoromethyl)benzyl]‐ compound, C31H34F3N3O2·0.5C2H6O, (IV), the ethanol component is disordered across a centre of inversion in the space group P. In each of (I)–(IV), the reduced pyridine ring adopts a half‐chair conformation. The heterocyclic components in (I)–(III) are linked into centrosymmetric dimers by a single C—H...π interaction, with the half‐occupancy ethanol component linked to the dimer by a combination of C—H...O and O—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds. The heterocyclic molecules in (IV) are linked into chains of centrosymmetric rings by C—H...O and C—H...π hydrogen bonds, again with the half‐occupancy ethanol component pendent from the chain. The significance of this study lies in the isomorphism of the related derivatives (I)–(III), in the stoichiometric hemisolvation by ethanol, where the disordered solvent molecule is linked to the heterocyclic component by a two‐point linkage, and in the differences between the crystal structures of (I)–(III) and that of (IV).  相似文献

Compounds containing the tricyclic dibenzo[b,e]azepine system have potential activity in the treatment of a number of diseases. Continuing with our studies on the synthesis of new small and potentially bioactive molecules, a synthetic route, involving acid‐catalysed intramolecular Friedel–Crafts cyclization, to the readily separable diastereoisomers of 11‐ethyl‐6,11‐dihydro‐5H‐dibenzo[b,e]azepine‐6‐carboxamide, a potentially useful precursor in the synthesis of analogues of some anti‐allergenic, antidepressant and antihistaminic drugs currently in use, has been developed starting from 2‐allylphenylamine and methyl 2‐bromo‐2‐phenylacetate and proceeding via racemic methyl 2‐[(2‐allylphenyl)amino]‐2‐phenylacetate (A) and racemic 2‐[(2‐allylphenyl)amino]‐2‐phenylacetamide (B), to give the two diastereoisomers (I) and (II), C17H18N2O. Isomers (I) and (II), and their precursors (A) and (B), have all been fully characterized spectroscopically. Structure analysis of the minor isomer (I) shows that it has the (6RS,11RS) configuration, and that the azepine ring adopts a conformation intermediate between the boat and twist‐boat forms, with the carboxamide and ethyl substituents both occupying quasi‐equatorial sites. The molecules of (I) are linked by a combination of N—H…O, N—H…π(arene) and C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bonds to form complex sheets. Comparisons are made with the structures of some related compounds.  相似文献
