Reactions of [Ni(tren)(H(2)O)(2)]X(2) (tren = tris(2-aminoethyl)amine; X = Cl (1a), Br (1b); X(2) = SO(4) (1c)) with mannose-type aldoses, having a 2,3-cis configuration (D-mannose and L-rhamnose), afforded {bis(N-aldosyl-2-aminoethyl)(2-aminoethyl)amine}nickel(II) complexes, [Ni(N,N'-(aldosyl)(2)-tren)]X(2) (aldosyl = D-mannosyl, X = Cl (2a), Br (2b), X(2) = SO(4) (2c); aldosyl = L-rhamnosyl, X(2) = SO(4) (3c)). The structure of 1c was confirmed by X-ray crystallography to be a mononuclear [Ni(II)N(4)O(2)] complex with the tren acting as a tetradentate ligand (1c.2H(2)O: orthorhombic, Pbca, a = 15.988(2) ?, b = 18.826(4) ?, c = 10.359(4) ?, V = 3118 ?(3), Z = 8, R = 0.047, and R(w) = 0.042). Complexes 2a,c and 3c were characterized by X-ray analyses to have a mononuclear octahedral Ni(II) structure ligated by a hexadentate N-glycoside ligand, bis(N-aldosyl-2-aminoethyl)(2-aminoethyl)amine (2a.CH(3)OH: orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 16.005(3) ?, b = 20.095(4) ?, c = 8.361(1) ?, V = 2689 ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.040, and R(w) = 0.027. 2c.3CH(3)OH: orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 14.93(2) ?, b = 21.823(8) ?, c = 9.746(2) ?, V = 3176 ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.075, and R(w) = 0.080. 3c.3CH(3)OH: orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 14.560(4) ?, b = 21.694(5) ?, c = 9.786(2) ?, V = 3091 ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.072, and R(w) = 0.079). The sugar part of the complex involves novel intramolecular sugar-sugar hydrogen bondings around the metal center. The similar reaction with D-glucose, D-glucosamine, and D-galactosamine, having a 2,3-trans configuration, resulted in the formation of a mono(sugar) complex, [Ni(N-(aldosyl)-tren)(H(2)O)(2)]Cl(2) (aldosyl = D-glucosyl (4b), 2-amino-2-deoxy-D-glucosyl (5a), and 2-amino-2-deoxy-D-galactosyl (5b)), instead of a bis(sugar) complex. The hydrogen bondings between the sugar moieties as observed in 2 and 3 should be responsible for the assembly of two sugar molecules on the metal center. Reactions of tris(N-aldosyl-2-aminoethyl)amine with nickel(II) salts gave the tris(sugar) complexes, [Ni(N,N',N"-(aldosyl)(3)-tren)]X(2) (aldosyl = D-mannosyl, X = Cl (6a), Br (6b); L-rhamnosyl, X = Cl (7a), Br (7b); D-glucosyl, X = Cl (9); maltosyl, X = Br (10); and melibiosyl, X = Br (11)), which were assumed to have a shuttle-type C(3) symmetrical structure with Delta helical configuration for D-type aldoses on the basis of circular dichroism and (13)C NMR spectra. When tris(N-rhamnosyl)-tren was reacted with NiSO(4).6H(2)O at low temperature, a labile neutral complex, [Ni(N,N',N"-(L-rhamnosyl)(3)-tren)(SO(4))] (8), was successfully isolated and characterized by X-ray crystallography, in which three sugar moieties are anchored only at the N atom of the C-1 position (8.3CH(3)OH.H(2)O: orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 16.035(4) ?, b = 16.670(7) ?, c = 15.38(1) ?, V = 4111 ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.084, and R(w) = 0.068). Complex 8 could be regarded as an intermediate species toward the C(3) symmetrical tris(sugar) complexes 7, and in fact, it was readily transformed to 7b by an action of BaBr(2).  相似文献

The stabilization of unsupported Ti-M (M = Fe, Ru, Co) heterodinuclear complexes has been achieved by use of amidotitanium building blocks containing tripodal amido ligands. Salt metathesis of H(3)CC(CH(2)NSiMe(3))(3)TiX (1) and C(6)H(5)C(CH(2)NSiMe(3))(3)TiX (2) as well as HC{SiMe(2)N(4-CH(3)C(6)H(4))}(3)TiX (3) (X = Cl, a; Br, b) with K[M(CO)(2)Cp] (M = Fe, Ru) and Na[Co(CO)(3)(PR(3))] (R = Ph, Tol) gave the corresponding stable heterobimetallic complexes of which H(3)CC(CH(2)NSiMe(3))(3)Ti-M(CO)(2)Cp (M = Fe, 6; Ru, 7) and HC{SiMe(2)N(4-CH(3)C(6)H(4))}(3)Ti-M(CO)(2)Cp (M = Fe, 12; Ru, 13) have been characterized by X-ray crystallography. 6: monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 15.496(3) ?, b = 12.983(3) ?, c = 29.219(3) ?, beta = 104.52(2) degrees, Z = 8, V = 5690.71 ?(3), R = 0.070. 7: monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 12.977(3) ?, b = 12.084(3) ?, c = 18.217(3) ?, beta = 91.33(2) degrees, Z = 4, V = 2855.91 ?(3), R = 0.048. 12: monoclinic, I2/c, a = 24.660(4) ?, b = 15.452(3) ?, c = 20.631(4) ?, beta = 103.64(3) degrees, Z = 8, V = 7639.65 ?(3), R = 0.079. 13: monoclinic, I2/c, a = 24.473(3) ?, b = 15.417(3) ?, c = 20.783(4) ?, beta = 104.20(2) degrees, Z = 8, V = 7601.84 ?(3), R = 0.066. (1)H- and (13)C-NMR studies in solution indicate free internal rotation of the molecular fragments around the Ti-M bonds. Fenske-Hall calculations performed on the idealized system HC(CH(2)NH)(3)Ti-Fe(CO)(2)Cp (6x) have revealed a significant degree of pi-donor-acceptor interaction between the two metal fragments reinforcing the Ti-Fe sigma-bond. Due to the availability of energetically low-lying pi-acceptor orbitals at the Ti center this partial multiple bonding is more pronounced that in the tin analogue HC(CH(2)NH)(3)Sn-Fe(CO)(2)Cp (15x) in which an N-Sn sigma-orbital may act as pi-acceptor orbital.  相似文献

Reaction of LRu(III)Cl(3) (L = 1,4,7-trimethyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane) with 1,2-phenylenediamine (opdaH(2)) in H(2)O in the presence of air affords [LRu(II)(bqdi)(OH(2))](PF(6)) (1), where (bqdi) represents the neutral ligand o-benzoquinone diimine. From an alkaline methanol/water mixture of 1 was obtained the dinuclear species [{LRu(II)(bqdi)}(2)(&mgr;-H(3)O(2))](PF(6))(3) (1a). The coordinated water molecule in 1 is labile and can be readily substituted under appropriate reaction conditions by acetonitrile, yielding [LRu(II)(bqdi)(CH(3)CN)](PF(6))(2) (2), and by iodide and azide anions, affording [LRu(II)(bqdi)I](PF(6)).0.5H(2)O (3) and [LRu(bqdi)(N(3))](PF(6)).H(2)O (4), respectively. Heating of solid 4 in vacuum at 160 degrees C generates N(2) and the dinuclear, nitrido-bridged complex [{LRu(o-C(6)H(4)(NH)(2))}(2)(&mgr;-N)](PF(6))(2) (5). Complex 5 is a mixed-valent, paramagnetic species containing one unpaired electron per dinuclear unit whereas complexes 1-4 are diamagnetic. The crystal structures of 1, 1a.3CH(3)CN, 3, 4.H(2)O, and 5.3CH(3)CN.0.5(toluene) have been determined by X-ray crystallography: 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/m, Z = 2, with a = 8.412(2) ?, b = 15.562(3) ?, c = 10.025 ?, and beta = 109.89(2) degrees; 1a.3CH(3)CN, in the monoclinic space group C2/c, Z = 4, with a = 19.858(3) ?, b = 15.483(2) ?, c = 18.192(3) ?, and beta = 95.95(2) degrees; 3, in the orthorhombic space group Pnma, Z = 4, with a = 18.399(4) ?, b = 9.287(2) ?, and c = 12.052(2) ?, 4.H(2)O, in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, Z = 4, with a = 8.586(1) ?, b = 15.617(3) ?, c = 16.388(5) ?, and beta = 90.84(2) degrees; and 5.3CH(3)CN.0.5(toluene), in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, Z = 4, with a = 15.003(3) ?, b = 16.253(3) ?, c = 21.196(4) ?, and beta = 96.78(3) degrees. The structural data indicate that in complexes 1-4 the neutral o-benzoquinone diimine ligand prevails. In contrast, in 5 this ligand has predominantly o-phenylenediamide character, which would render 5 formally a mixed-valent Ru(IV)Ru(V) species. On the other hand, the Ru-N bond lengths of the Ru-N-Ru moiety at 1.805(5) and 1.767(5) ? are significantly longer than those in other crystallographically characterized Ru(IV)=N=Ru(IV) units (1.72-1.74 ?). It appears that the C(6)H(4)(NH)(2) ligand in 5 is noninnocent and that formal oxidation state assignments to the ligands or metal centers are not possible.  相似文献

The hydrothermal chemistry of the CsVO(3)/methylenediphosphonate system was investigated. Variations in reaction temperatures, heating times, and stoichiometries of reactants resulted in the isolation of mononuclear, one-, two-, and three-dimensional species: Cs[VO(HO(3)PCH(2)PO(3)H)(2)(H(2)O)] (1), Cs[VO(HO(3)PCH(2)PO(3))] (2), Cs[(VO)(2)V (O(3)PCH(2)PO(3))(2)(H(2)O)(2)] (3), and [V(HO(3)PCH(2)PO(3))(H(2)O)] (4), respectively. The structure of the anion of 1 consists of isolated V(IV) octahedra. Phase 2 adopts a chain structure constructed from corner-sharing V(IV) octahedra, forming infinite {-V=OV=O-} linkages. The layer structure of 3 contains trinuclear units of corner-sharing {VO(6)} octahedra with the central V site in the III oxidation state and V(IV) centers at the extremities of the cluster. The diphosphonate ligands serve to link neighboring trinuclear motifs into a layer structure three octahedra in depth. The Cs(+) cations occupy cavities within the layers, rather than the more common interlamellar positions. The structure of 4 consists of isolated {V(III)O(6)} octahedra linked by diphosphonate groups into a three-dimensional framework. Crystal data: for 1, CH(6)O(7)P(2)V(0.5)Cs, monoclinic C2, a = 10.991(2) ?, b = 10.161(2) ?, c = 7.445(1) ?, beta = 92.97(3) degrees, Z = 4; for 2, CH(3)O(7)P(2)VCs, monoclinic C2, a = 10.212(2) ?, b = 10.556(2) ?, c = 14.699(3) ?, beta = 94.57(2) degrees, Z = 8; for 3, C(2)H(8)O(16)P(4)V(3)Cs, monoclinic C2/m, a = 9.724(2) ?, b = 8.136(2) ?, c = 10.268(2) ?, beta = 103.75(3) degrees, Z = 2; for 4, CH(5)O(7)P(2)V, monoclinic P2(1)()/n, a = 5.341(1) ?, b = 11.516(2) ?, c = 10.558(2) ?, beta = 99.89(1) degrees, Z = 4.  相似文献

The kinetics of oxidation of bis(maltolato)oxovanadium(IV), BMOV or VO(ma)(2), by dioxygen have been studied by UV-vis spectroscopy in both MeOH and H(2)O media. The VO(ma)(2):O(2) stoichiometry was 4:1. In aqueous solution, the pH-dependent rate of the VO(ma)(2)/O(2) reaction to generate cis-[VO(2)(ma)(2)](-) is attributed to the deprotonation of coordinated H(2)O, the deprotonated species [VO(ma)(2)(OH)](-) being more easily oxidized (k(OH) = 0.39 M(-)(1) s(-)(1), 25 degrees C) than the neutral form VO(ma)(2)(H(2)O) (k(H)()2(O) = 0.08 M(-)(1) s(-)(1), 25 degrees C). The activation parameters for the two second-order reactions in aqueous solution were deduced from variable temperature kinetic measurements. In MeOH, VO(ma)(2) was oxidized by dioxygen to cis-VO(OMe)(ma)(2), whose structure was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction; the crystals were monoclinic, C2/c, with a = 28.103(1) ?, b = 7.721(2) ?, c = 13.443(2) ?, beta = 94.290(7) degrees, and Z = 8. The structure was solved by Patterson methods and was refined by full-matrix least-squares procedures to R = 0.043 for 1855 reflections with I >/= 3sigma(I). The kinetic results are consistent with a mechanism involving an attack of O(2) at the V(IV) center, followed by the formation of radicals and H(2)O(2) as transient intermediates.  相似文献

Five new vanadium selenites, Ca(2)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(3)(H(2)O)(2), Sr(2)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(3), Ba(V(2)O(5))(SeO(3)), Sr(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), and Pb(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), have been synthesized and characterized. Their crystal structures were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The compounds exhibit one- or two-dimensional structures consisting of corner- and edge-shared VO(4), VO(5), VO(6), and SeO(3) polyhedra. Of the reported materials, A(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)) (A = Sr(2+) or Pb(2+)) are noncentrosymmetric (NCS) and polar. Powder second-harmonic generation (SHG) measurements revealed SHG efficiencies of approximately 130 and 150 × α-SiO(2) for Sr(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)) and Pb(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), respectively. Piezoelectric charge constants of 43 and 53 pm/V, and pyroelectric coefficients of -27 and -42 μC/m(2)·K at 70 °C were obtained for Sr(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)) and Pb(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), respectively. Frequency dependent polarization measurements confirmed that the materials are not ferroelectric, that is, the observed polarization cannot be reversed. In addition, the lone-pair on the Se(4+) cation may be considered as stereo-active consistent with calculations. For all of the reported materials, infrared, UV-vis, thermogravimetric, and differential thermal analysis measurements were performed. The reactions of bis(trimethylsilyl)ated forms of the Schiff base ligands N-(2-hydroxyphenyl)salicylideneamine {(HO)C(6)H(4)N(CH)C(6)H(4)(OH)}, N-(4-tert-butyl-2-hydroxyphenyl)salicylideneamine {(HO)((t)Bu)C(6)H(3)N(CH)C(6)H(4)(OH)}, N-(2-hydroxy-4-nitrophenyl)salicylideneamine {(HO)(O(2)N)C(6)H(3)N(CH)C(6)H(4)(OH)}, and the structurally related ligand 2,2'-azophenol with halogeno- and (trifluoromethyl)halogenophosphoranes yield a series of neutral hexacoordinate phosphorus(V) compounds by means of trimethylsilyl halide elimination. In all of these cases the ligands chelate in a meridional conformation in which bicyclic five- and six-membered chelate rings are formed through structures containing two phenolic P-O bonds and one N-P bond. The hexacoordinate nature of these compounds is evidenced by their high-field (31)P NMR chemical shifts and their characteristic J(PF) coupling patterns and is further substantiated by the crystal structures of {O((t)Bu)C(6)H(3)N(CH)C(6)H(4)O}PCl(3) and {OC(6)H(4)N=NC(6)H(4)O}PF(3). Crystal data for {O((t)Bu)C(6)H(3)N(CH)C(6)H(4)O}PCl(3): triclinic, space group P&onemacr; (No. 2), a = 11.167(1) ?, b = 15.684(1) ?, c = 17.047(2) ?, V = 2840(1) ?(3), Z = 2. Final R and R(w) values were 0.051 and 0.079, respectively. Crystal data for {OC(6)H(4)N=NC(6)H(4)O}PF(3): monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c (No. 14), a = 6.9393(8) ?, b = 12.450(2) ?, c = 13.907(2) ?, V = 1190.7(6) ?(3), Z = 4. Final R and R(w) values were 0.045 and 0.056, respectively. The molecular structures of {O((t)Bu)C(6)H(3)N(CH)C(6)H(4)O}PCl(3) and {OC(6)H(4)N=NC(6)H(4)O}PF(3) show that in both cases the Schiff base ligand chelates occupy the meridional plane about the six-coordinate phosphorus atom. In the case of {OC(6)H(4)N=NC(6)H(4)O}PF(3) the equivalent nitrogen atoms in the chelate rings are disordered to form half-occupancy pairs. The silylated form of the related thiobis(phenol), 2,2'-thiobis(4,6-tert-butylphenol), reacted similarly with pentavalent halides to form the six-coordinate complex [{2-O-3,5-((t)Bu)(2)C(6)H(2)}(2)S]PCl(3) which was also verified by a crystal structure. Crystal data for [{2-O-3,5-((t)Bu)(2)C(6)H(2)}(2)S]PCl(3): monoclinic P2(1)/n, a = 13.989(2), b = 13.594(2), c = 16.483(2) ?, beta = 97.98(2) degrees, V = 3104(2) ?(3), Z = 4; final R and R(w)() values were 0.039 and 0.052, respectively. In contrast to the above six coordinate complexes, this compound possesses a facial structure in which two phenoxy substituents form planar chelates centered on the bridging sulfur and intersecting at the P-S axis. The P-S bond length, 2.331(1) ?, is slightly shorter than has been previously observed in the example wherein the ligand possesses two tert-butyl groups and the phosphorus carries three OCH(2)CF(3 )substituents indicating stronger interaction between P and S in the present case.  相似文献

X-ray crystal structures are reported for the following complexes: [Ru(2)Cl(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2).4H(2)O (tacn = 1,4,7-triazacyclononane), monoclinic P2(1)/n, Z = 4, a = 14.418(8) ?, b = 11.577(3) ?, c = 18.471(1) ?, beta = 91.08(5) degrees, V = 3082 ?(3), R(R(w)) = 0.039 (0.043) using 4067 unique data with I > 2.5sigma(I) at 293 K; [Ru(2)Br(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2).2H(2)O, monoclinic P2(1)/a, Z = 4, a = 13.638(4) ?, b = 12.283(4) ?, c = 18.679(6) ?, beta = 109.19(2) degrees, V = 3069.5 ?(3), R(R(w)) = 0.052 (0.054) using 3668 unique data with I > 2.5sigma(I) at 293 K; [Ru(2)I(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2), cubic P2(1)/3, Z = 3, a = 14.03(4) ?, beta = 90.0 degrees, V = 2763.1(1) ?(3), R (R(w)) = 0.022 (0.025) using 896 unique data with I > 2.5sigma(I) at 293 K. All of the cations have cofacial bioctahedral geometries, although [Ru(2)Cl(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2).4H(2)O, [Ru(2)Br(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2).2H(2)O, and [Ru(2)I(3)(tacn)(2)](PF(6))(2) are not isomorphous. Average bond lengths and angles for the cofacial bioctahedral cores, [N(3)Ru(&mgr;-X)(3)RuN(3)](2+), are compared to those for the analogous ammine complexes [Ru(2)Cl(3)(NH(3))(6)](BPh(4))(2) and [Ru(2)Br(3)(NH(3))(6)](ZnBr(4)). The Ru-Ru distances in the tacn complexes are longer than those in the equivalent ammine complexes, probably as a result of steric interactions.  相似文献

A large variety of oxovanadium(V) complexes, mononuclear VO(2)(+) and VO(3+) in addition to the dinuclear VO(3+), of the structural type (VOL)(2), (VOHL)(2), VOLHQ, K(VO(2)HL), K(VO(2)H(2)L), or (salampr) (VO(2)L) {where L = Schiff base ligand possessing alkoxo group(s); HQ = 8-hydroxyquinoline; salampr = cation of reduced Schiff base derived from salicylaldehyde and 2-amino-2-methylpropan-1-ol}, bound to alkoxo, phenolate and imine groups have been synthesized in high yields and characterized by several spectral and analytical methods, including single crystal X-ray studies. While the mononuclear VO(2)(+) complexes have been synthesized at alkaline pH, the dinuclear VO(3+) complexes have been synthesized under neutral conditions using alkoxo rich Schiff base ligands. The X-ray structures indicate that the cis-dioxo complexes showed longer V-O(alkoxo) bond lengths compared to the monooxo counterparts. The plot of V-O(phen) bond distances of several VO(3+) complexes vs the lmct showed a near linear correlation with a negative slope. The cyclic voltammograms revealed a reversible V(V)/V(IV) couple with the reduction potentials increasing to more negative ones as the number of alkoxo groups bound to V increases from 1 to 2. Moreover, the cis-dioxo VO(2)(+) complexes are easier to reduce than their monooxo counterparts. The solution stability of these complexes was studied in the presence of added water (1:4, water:solvent), where no decomposition was observed, unlike other Schiff base complexes of V. The conversion of the dioxo complexes to their monooxo counterparts in the presence of catalytic amounts of acid is also demonstrated. The reactivity of alkoxo bound V(V) complexes is also reported. Several new organogold(III) derivatives of the type [AuX(2)(damp)] (damp = o-C(6)H(4)CH(2)NMe(2)) have been prepared [X = CN, SCN, dtc, or X(2) = tm; dtc = R(2)NCS(2) (R = Me (dmtc) or Et (detc)); tm = SCH(CO(2))CH(2)CO(2)Na] together with [AuCl(tpca)(damp)]Cl (tpca = o-Ph(2)PC(6)H(4)CO(2)H), [Au(dtc)(damp)]Y (Y = Cl, BPh(4)) and K[Au(CN)(3)(damp)]. The (13)C NMR spectra of these and previous derivatives have been fully assigned. In [Au(dtc)(2)(damp)] and K[Au(CN)(3)(damp)], the damp ligand is coordinated only through carbon, as shown by X-ray crystallography and/or NMR. [Au(detc)(2)(damp)] has space group C2/c, with a = 29.884(4) ?, b = 13.446(2) ?, c = 12.401(2) ?, beta = 99.45(3)(o), V = 4915 ?(3), Z = 8, and R = 0.057 for 1918 reflections. The damp and one detc ligand are monodentate, the other detc is bidentate; in solution, the complex shows dynamic behavior, with the detc ligands appearing equivalent. The crystal structure of [Au(dmtc)(damp)]BPh(4) [Pna2(1), a = 26.149(5) ?, b = 11.250(2) ?, c = 11.921(2) ?, V = 3507 ?(3), Z = 4, R = 0.073, 1772 reflections] shows both ligands to be bidentate in the cation, but the two Au-S distances are nonequivalent. The crystal structure of [Au(tm)(damp)] has also been determined [P2(1)/n, a = 18.267(7) ?, b = 9.618(3) ?, c = 18.938(4) ?, beta = 113.45(3)(o), V = 3053 ?(3), Z = 8, R = 0.079, 1389 reflections]. The tm is bound through sulfur and the carboxyl group which allows five-membered ring formation. In all three structures, the trans-influence of the sigma-bonded aryl group is apparent. [AuCl(2)(damp)] has been tested in vitroagainst a range of microbial strains and several human tumor lines, where it displays differential cytotoxicity similar to that of cisplatin. Against the ZR-75-1 human tumor xenograft, both [AuCl(2)(damp)] and cisplatin showed limited activity.  相似文献

A series of novel organically templated metal sulfates, [C(5)H(14)N(2)][M(II)(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2) with (M(II) = Mn (1), Fe (2), Co (3) and Ni (4)), have been successfully synthesized by slow evaporation and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction as well as with infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and magnetic measurements. All compounds were prepared using a racemic source of the 2-methylpiperazine and they crystallized in the monoclinic systems, P2(1)/n for (1, 3) and P2(1)/c for (2,4). Crystal data are as follows: [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Mn(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 6.6385(10) ?, b = 11.0448(2) ?, c = 12.6418(2) ?, β = 101.903(10)°, V = 906.98(3) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Fe(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 10.9273(2) ?, b = 7.8620(10) ?, c = 11.7845(3) ?, β = 116.733(10)°, V = 904.20(3) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Co(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 6.5710(2) ?, b = 10.9078(3) ?, c = 12.5518(3) ?, β = 101.547(2)°, V = 881.44(4) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Ni(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 10.8328(2) ?, b = 7.8443(10) ?, c = 11.6790(2) ?, β = 116.826(10)°, V = 885.63(2) ?(3), Z = 2. The three-dimensional structure networks for these compounds consist of isolated [M(II)(H(2)O)(6)](2+) and [C(5)H(14)N(2)](2+) cations and (SO(4))(2-) anions linked by hydrogen-bonds only. The use of racemic 2-methylpiperazine results in crystallographic disorder of the amines and creation of inversion centers. The magnetic measurements indicate that the Mn complex (1) is paramagnetic, while compounds 2, 3 and 4, (M(II) = Fe, Co, Ni respectively) exhibit single ion anisotropy.  相似文献

A general synthetic approach to rationalize the solution preparative chemistry of oxovanadium phosphates containing organic species as structural directing agents is presented. Careful attention is payed to the hydrolysis and condensation processes involving the ionic species in solution, and a simple restatement of the partial charge model (PCM) has been used in order to organize the experimental results. The structure of a new V(IV)-Fe(III) bimetallic oxovanadium phosphate, [H(3)N(CH(2))(2)NH(3)](2)[H(3)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2)] [Fe(III)(H(2)O)(2)(V(IV)O)(8)(OH)(4)(HPO(4))(4)(PO(4))(4)].4H(2)O, has been determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction methods. This compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n and the cell dimensions are as follows: a = 14.383(3) ?, b = 10.150(2) ?, c = 18.355(4) ?, and beta = 90.39(3) degrees (Z = 2). The existence of a complex intercrossing channel system, including a very large channel of 18.4 ? of diameter (in which both water molecules and ethylenediamine species are located), is the more interesting feature of this structure. Thermal decomposition, including the dehydration/rehydration process, has been studied by thermal analysis and variable temperature X-ray powder diffraction techniques. A complementary SEM study of the different intermediate decomposition products is presented.  相似文献

A basic bismuth(III) nitrate with the composition [Bi(6)O(4)(OH)(4)](0.5)[Bi(6)O(5)(OH)(3)](0.5)(NO(3))(5.5) formed in a slow crystal growth mode has an ordered crystal structure with the monoclinic space group P2(1) and lattice parameters a = 15.850(3), b = 14.986(3), c = 18.230(4) ?, β = 107.329(17)° and volume V = 4133.6 ?(3) (Henry et al. 2003). In a very fast crystal growth mode the complex ions disorder in another P2(1) cell with slightly different lattice parameters a = 15.8404(1), b = 15.1982(1), c = 18.3122(1) ?, β = 106.829(1)° and V = 4219.8 ?(3). This cell can be related to two smaller cells: a monoclinic C2/m cell with a = 13.7161(1), b = 15.1943(1), c = 10.2399(1) ?, β = 98.586(1)° and V = 2110.1 ?(3) and a trigonal R3 cell with a = 15.18650(6), c = 15.8416(1) ? (hexagonal setting) and V = 3164.1 ?(3). These smaller cells correspond to average structures and hence the X-ray data do not account for the difference in the structures of the two different complex ions. However, when analysing neutron powder diffraction data, it is possible to distinguish between the two complex ions using a trigonal R3 cell with a = 15.1865(1) and c = 15.8416(1) ? (hexagonal setting). In a Rietveld type structure model refinement with a total of 28 atom sites (4 Bi, 3 N, 15 O and 6 H), the composition of this sample is determined to be [Bi(6)O(4)(OH)(4)](0.54(1))[Bi(6)O(5)(OH)(3)](0.46(1))(NO(3))(5.54(1)).  相似文献

Synthetic methods for [Et(4)N](4)[W(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)] (1), [Et(4)N](4)[Mo(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)] (2), [W(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)(CuTMEN)(4)] (3), and [Mo(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)(CuTMEN)(4)] (4) are described. [Et(4)N](2)[MS(4)], [Et(4)N](2)[MS(2)O(2)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and KBH(4) (or Et(4)NBH(4)) were used as starting materials for the synthesis of 1 and 2. Compounds 3 and 4 were produced by reaction of [Et(4)N](2)[WOS(3)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and TMEN and by reaction of [Me(4)N](2)[MO(2)O(2)S(8)], Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and TMEN, respectively. Crystal structures of compounds 1-4 were determined. Compounds 1 and 2 crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 14.264(5) ?, b = 32.833(8) ?, c = 14.480(3) ?, beta = 118.66(2) degrees, V = 5950.8(5) ?(3), and Z = 4 for 1 and a = 14.288(5) ?, b = 32.937(10) ?, c = 14.490(3) ?, beta = 118.75(2) degrees, V = 5978.4(7) ?(3), and Z = 4 for 2. Compounds 3 and 4 crystallized in the trigonal space group P3(2)21 with a = 13.836(6) ?, c = 29.81(1) ?, V = 4942(4) ?(3), and Z = 3 for 3 and a = 13.756(9) ?, c = 29.80(2) ?, V = 4885(6) ?(3), and Z = 3 for 4. The cluster cores have approximate C(2v) symmetry. The anions of 1 and 2 may be viewed as consisting of two butterfly-type [CuMOS(3)Cu] fragments bridged by two [MOS(3)](2-) groups. Eight metal atoms in the anions are arranged in an approximate square configuration, with a Cu(4)M(4)S(12) ring structure. Compounds 3 and 4 can be considered to consist of one [M(4)Cu(4)S(12)O(4)](4-) (the anions of 1 and 2) unit capped by Cu(TMEN)(+) groups on each M atom; the Cu(TMEN)(+) groups extend alternately up and down around the Cu(4)M(4) square. The electronic spectra of the compounds are dominated by the internal transitions of the [MOS(3)](2-) moiety. (95)Mo NMR spectral data are investigated and compared with those of other compounds.  相似文献

The reactions of Ga(CH(2)CH(3))(3) with variable amounts of elemental sulfur, S(8), in toluene or benzene at different temperatures result in the insertion of sulfur into the Ga-C bonds to form the compounds Ga[(S-S)CH(2)CH(3)](3) (I) and Ga[(S-S-S)CH(2)CH(3)](3) (II). Compound I was isolated from the reaction at low temperature while at room temperature; compound II was the major product. Compound II exhibited the maximum extent of sulfur insertion even when the reactions were carried out with more than 9.0 equiv of sulfur. The reactions of Ga(CH(3))(3) with various amounts of sulfur in toluene or benzene only result in the formation of compound III, Ga[(S-S)CH(3)](3). In pyridine at -30 degrees C, deinsertion of the sulfur atoms from Ga-S-S-C bonds was observed for the first time from compounds I and III resulting in formation of the six-membered Ga-S ring compounds IV, [PyEtGaS](3), and V, [PyMeGaS](3), respectively. Compounds IV and V were characterized by (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR, elemental analyses, thermogravimetric analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound IV crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, with a = 9.288(2) ?, b = 14.966(2) ?, c = 19.588(3) ?, beta = 90.690(10) degrees, and Z = 4. Compound V crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, with a = 10.385(1) ?, b = 15.300(2) ?, c = 15.949(2) ?, beta = 107.01(1) degrees, Z = 4, unit cell volume = 2423.5(5) ?(3), R = 0.030, and R(w) = 0.026. The sulfur insertion reaction pathway was investigated by time-dependent and variable-temperature (1)H NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

The syntheses of the water-soluble, chelating phosphines 1,2-bis(bis(hydroxybutyl)phosphino)ethane (1, n = 3; DHBuPE) and 1,2-bis(bis(hydroxypentyl)phosphino)ethane (1, n = 4; DHPePE) are reported. These ligands (and, in general, other 1,2-bis(bis(hydroxyalkyl)phosphino)ethane ligands) can be used to impart water solubility to metal complexes. As examples of this, the [Ni(DHPrPE)(2)Cl]Cl (2), [Rh(DHPrPE)(2)][Cl] (3), and [Ru(DHBuPE)(2)Cl(2)][Cl] (4) complexes were synthesized; they are indeed soluble in water (>0.5 M). The sulfates Nb(2)O(2)(SO(4))(3), MoO(2)(SO(4)), WO(SO(4))(2,) and two modifications of Re(2)O(5)(SO(4))(2) have been synthesized by the solvothermal reaction of NbCl(5), WOCl(4), Re(2)O(7)(H(2)O)(2), and MoO(3) with sulfuric acid/SO(3) mixtures at temperatures between 200 and 300 °C. Besides the X-ray crystal structure determination of all compounds, the thermal behavior was investigated using thermogravimetric studies. WO(SO(4))(2) (monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 7.453(1) ?, b = 11.8232(8) ?, c = 7.881(1) ?, β = 107.92(2)°, V = 660.7(1) ?(3), Z = 4) and both modifications of Re(2)O(5)(SO(4))(2) (I: orthorhombic, Pba2, a = 9.649(1) ?, b = 8.4260(8) ?, c = 5.9075(7) ?, V = 480.27(9) ?(3), Z = 2; II: orthorhombic, Pbcm, a = 7.1544(3) ?, b = 7.1619(3) ?, c = 16.8551(7) ?, V = 863.64(6) ?(3), Z = 4) are the first structurally characterized examples of tungsten and rhenium oxide sulfates. Their crystal structure contains layers of sulfate connected [W═O] moieties or [Re(2)O(5)] units, respectively. The cohesion between layers is realized through weak M-O contacts (343-380 pm). Nb(2)O(2)(SO(4))(3) (orthorhombic, Pna2(1), a = 9.9589(7) ?, b = 11.7983(7) ?, c = 8.6065(5) ?, V = 1011.3(1) ?(3), Z = 4) represents a new sulfate-richer niobium oxide sulfate. The crystal structure contains a three-dimensional network of sulfate connected [Nb═O] moieties. In MoO(2)(SO(4)) (monoclinic, I2/a, a = 8.5922(6) ?, b = 12.2951(6) ?, c = 25.671(2) ?, β = 94.567(9)°, V = 2703.4(3) ?(3), Z = 24) [MoO(2)] units are connected through sulfate ions to a three-dimensional network, which is pervaded by channels along [100] accommodating the terminal oxide ligands. In all compounds except WO(SO(4))(2), the metal ions are octahedrally coordinated by monodentate sulfate ions and oxide ligands forming short M═O bonds. In WO(SO(4))(2), the oxide ligand and two monodentate and two bidentate sulfate ions build a pentagonal bipyramid around W. The thermal stability of the sulfates decreases in the order Nb > Mo > W > Re; the residues formed during the decomposition are the corresponding oxides.  相似文献
