We construct rank varieties for the Drinfeld double of the Taft algebra Λn and for uq(sl2). For the Drinfeld double when n=2 this uses a result which identifies a family of subalgebras that control projectivity of Λ-modules whenever Λ is a Hopf algebra satisfying a certain homological condition. In this case we show that our rank variety is homeomorphic to the cohomological support variety. We also show that Ext(M,M) is finitely generated over the cohomology ring of the Drinfeld double for any finitely generated module M.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the tensor product structure of the category of finite dimensional modules over Drinfeld doubles of Taft Hopf algebras. Tensor product decomposition rules for all finite dimensional indecomposable modules are explicitly given.  相似文献

We derive necessary and sufficient conditions for an ambiskew polynomial ring to have a Hopf algebra structure of a certain type. This construction generalizes many known Hopf algebras, for example U(sl2), Uq(sl2) and the enveloping algebra of the three-dimensional Heisenberg Lie algebra. In a torsion-free case we describe the finite-dimensional simple modules, in particular their dimensions, and prove a Clebsch-Gordan decomposition theorem for the tensor product of two simple modules. We construct a Casimir type operator and prove that any finite-dimensional weight module is semisimple.  相似文献

The exponent of a finite group G can be viewed as a Hopf algebraic invariant of the group algebra H=kG: it is the least integer n for which the nth Hopf power endomorphism [n] of H is trivial. The exponent of a group scheme G as studied by Gabriel and Tate and Oort can be defined in the same way using the coordinate Hopf algebra H=O(G).The power map and the corresponding notion of exponent have been studied for a general finite-dimensional Hopf algebra beginning with work of Kashina. Several positive results, suggested by analogy to the group case, were proved by Kashina and by Etingof and Gelaki.Given these positive results, there was some hope that the Hopf order of an individual element of a Hopf algebra might also be a well-behaved notion, with some properties analogous to well-known facts on the orders of elements of a finite group. In fact we prove that such analogous properties do hold for Hopf algebras satisfying the usual rule for iterated powers; for example, such a Hopf algebra H has an element of order n if and only if n divides the exponent of H. However, in general such properties are not true. We will give examples where the behavior of Hopf powers, Hopf orders, and related notions is rather strange, unexpected, and seemingly hard to predict. We will see this using computer algebra calculations in Drinfeld doubles of finite groups, and more generally in bismash products constructed from factorizable groups.  相似文献

Let Λ be a finite dimensional algebra over an algebraically closed field such that any oriented cycle in the ordinary quiver of Λ is zero in Λ. Let T(Λ)=Λ?D(Λ) be the trivial extension of Λ by its minimal injective cogenerator D(Λ). We characterize, in terms of quivers and relations, the algebras Λ such that T(Λ)?T(Λ).  相似文献

This paper introduces an analogue of the Solomon descent algebra for the complex reflection groups of type G(r,1,n). As with the Solomon descent algebra, our algebra has a basis given by sums of ‘distinguished’ coset representatives for certain ‘reflection subgroups.’ We explicitly describe the structure constants with respect to this basis and show that they are polynomials in r. This allows us to define a deformation, or q-analogue, of these algebras which depends on a parameter q. We determine the irreducible representations of all of these algebras and give a basis for their radicals. Finally, we show that the direct sum of cyclotomic Solomon algebras is canonically isomorphic to a concatenation Hopf algebra.  相似文献

Two Hopf algebras are called monoidally Morita equivalent if module categories over them are equivalent as linear monoidal categories. We introduce monoidal Morita invariants for finite-dimensional Hopf algebras based on certain braid group representations arising from the Drinfeld double construction. As an application, we show, for any integer n, the number of elements of order n is a monoidal Morita invariant for finite group algebras. We also describe relations between our construction and invariants of closed 3-manifolds due to Reshetikhin and Turaev.  相似文献

A laycle is the categorical analogue of a lazy cocycle. Twines (introduced by Bruguières) and strong twines (as introduced by the authors) are laycles satisfying some extra conditions. If c is a braiding, the double braiding c2 is always a twine; we prove that it is a strong twine if and only if c satisfies a sort of modified braid relation (we call such cpseudosymmetric, as any symmetric braiding satisfies this relation). It is known that the category of Yetter-Drinfeld modules over a Hopf algebra H is symmetric if and only if H is trivial; we prove that the Yetter-Drinfeld category HYDH over a Hopf algebra H is pseudosymmetric if and only if H is commutative and cocommutative. We introduce as well the Hopf algebraic counterpart of pseudosymmetric braidings under the name pseudotriangular structures and prove that all quasitriangular structures on the 2n+1-dimensional pointed Hopf algebras E(n) are pseudotriangular. We observe that a laycle on a monoidal category induces a so-called pseudotwistor on every algebra in the category, and we obtain some general results (and give some examples) concerning pseudotwistors, inspired by the properties of laycles and twines.  相似文献

Let k be a field and A n (ω) be the Taft's n 2-dimensional Hopf algebras. When n is odd, the Drinfeld quantum double D(A n (ω)) of A n (ω) is a Ribbon Hopf algebra. In the previous articles, we constructed an n 4-dimensional Hopf algebra H n (p, q) which is isomorphic to D(A n (ω)) if p ≠ 0 and q = ω?1, and studied the finite dimensional representations of H n (1, q). We showed that the basic algebra of any nonsimple block of H n (1, q) is independent of n. In this article, we examine the infinite representations of H 2(1, ? 1), or equivalently of H n (1, q)?D(A n (ω)) for any n ≥ 2. We investigate the indecomposable and algebraically compact modules over H 2(1, ? 1), describe the structures of these modules and classify them under the elementary equivalence.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the Green ring (or the representation ring) of Drinfeld quantum double D(H 4) of Sweedler’s four-dimensional Hopf algebra H 4. We first give the decompositions of the tensor products of finite dimensional indecomposable modules into the direct sum of indecomposable modules over D(H 4). Then we describe the structure of the Green ring r(D(H 4)) of D(H 4) and show that r(D(H 4)) is generated, as a ring, by infinitely many elements subject to a family of relations.  相似文献

Let p be a prime, and let RG(p) denote the set of equivalence classes of radically graded finite dimensional quasi-Hopf algebras over C, whose radical has codimension p. The purpose of this paper is to classify finite dimensional quasi-Hopf algebras A whose radical is a quasi-Hopf ideal and has codimension p; that is, A with gr(A) in RG(p), where gr(A) is the associated graded algebra taken with respect to the radical filtration on A. The main result of this paper is the following theorem: Let A be a finite dimensional quasi-Hopf algebra whose radical is a quasi-Hopf ideal of prime codimension p. Then either A is twist equivalent to a Hopf algebra, or it is twist equivalent to H(2), H±(p), A(q), or H(32), constructed in [5] and [8]. Note that any finite tensor category whose simple objects are invertible and form a group of order p under tensor is the representation category of a quasi-Hopf algebra A as above. Thus this paper provides a classification of such categories.  相似文献

Let k be an algebraically closed field and Λ a tilted algebra of a path algebra of a Dynkin quiver (of type An, Dn, E6, E7 or E8). We show that every sincere indecomposable Λ-module has at most three Gabriel-Roiter submodules.  相似文献

We discuss properties of Yetter-Drinfeld modules over weak bialgebras over commutative rings. The categories of left-left, left-right, right-left and right-right Yetter-Drinfeld modules over a weak Hopf algebra are isomorphic as braided monoidal categories. Yetter-Drinfeld modules can be viewed as weak Doi-Hopf modules, and, a fortiori, as weak entwined modules. IfH is finitely generated and projective, then we introduce the Drinfeld double using duality results between entwining structures and smash product structures, and show that the category of Yetter-Drinfeld modules is isomorphic to the category of modules over the Drinfeld double. The category of finitely generated projective Yetter-Drinfeld modules over a weak Hopf algebra has duality.  相似文献

Let k be a field and An(ω) be the Taft's n2-dimensional Hopf algebra. When n is odd, the Drinfeld quantum double D(An(ω)) of An(ω) is a ribbon Hopf algebra. In the previous articles, we constructed an n4-dimensional Hopf algebra Hn(p, q) which is isomorphic to D(An(ω)) if p ≠ 0 and q = ω?1 , and studied the irreducible representations of Hn(1, q) and the finite dimensional representations of H3(1, q). In this article, we examine the finite-dimensional representations of Hn(l q), equivalently, of D(An(ω)) for any n ≥ 2. We investigate the indecomposable left Hn(1, q)-module, and describe the structures and properties of all indecomposable modules and classify them when k is algebraically closed. We also give all almost split sequences in mod Hn(1, q), and the Auslander-Reiten-quiver of Hn(1 q).  相似文献

Let Λ be an artin algebra and X a finitely generated Λ-module. Iyama has shown that there exists a module Y such that the endomorphism ring Γ of XY is quasi-hereditary, with a heredity chain of length n, and that the global dimension of Γ is bounded by this n. In general, one only knows that a quasi-hereditary algebra with a heredity chain of length n must have global dimension at most 2n−2. We want to show that Iyama’s better bound is related to the fact that the ring Γ he constructs is not only quasi-hereditary, but even left strongly quasi-hereditary. By definition, the left strongly quasi-hereditary algebras are the quasi-hereditary algebras with all standard left modules of projective dimension at most 1.  相似文献

This paper classifies the simple modules of the cyclotomic Hecke algebras of type G(r,1,n) and the affine Hecke algebras of type A in arbitrary characteristic. We do this by first showing that the simple modules of the cyclotomic Hecke algebras are indexed by the set of “Kleshchev multipartitions”. In this article we develop some of the basic constructions of the theory of Hopf algebras in the context of autonomous pseudomonoids in monoidal bicategories. We concentrate on the notion of Hopf modules. We study the existence and the internalisation of this notion, called the Hopf module construction. Our main result is the equivalence between the existence of a left dualization for A (i.e., A is left autonomous) and the validity of an analogue of the structure theorem of Hopf modules. In this case a Hopf module construction for A always exists. We recover from the general theory developed here results on coquasi-Hopf algebras.  相似文献

We introduce a family of algebras which are multiplicative analogues of preprojective algebras, and their deformations, as introduced by M.P. Holland and the first author. We show that these algebras provide a natural setting for the ‘middle convolution’ operation introduced by N.M. Katz in his book ‘Rigid local systems’, and put in an algebraic setting by M. Dettweiler and S. Reiter, and H. Völklein. We prove a homological formula relating the dimensions of Hom and Ext spaces, study varieties of representations of multiplicative preprojective algebras, and use these results to study simple representations. We apply this work to the Deligne-Simpson problem, obtaining a sufficient (and conjecturally necessary) condition for the existence of an irreducible solution to the equation A1A2Ak=1 with the Ai in prescribed conjugacy classes in GLn(C).  相似文献

For a matrix coalgebra C over some field, we determine all small subcoalgebras of the free Hopf algebra on C, the free Hopf algebra with a bijective antipode on C, and the free Hopf algebra with antipode S satisfying on C for some fixed d. We use this information to find the endomorphisms of these free Hopf algebras, and to determine the centers of the categories of Hopf algebras, Hopf algebras with bijective antipode, and Hopf algebras with antipode of order dividing 2d.  相似文献
