Let k be a field and An(ω) be the Taft's n2-dimensional Hopf algebra. When n is odd, the Drinfeld quantum double D(An(ω)) of An(ω) is a ribbon Hopf algebra. In the previous articles, we constructed an n4-dimensional Hopf algebra Hn(p, q) which is isomorphic to D(An(ω)) if p ≠ 0 and q = ω?1 , and studied the irreducible representations of Hn(1, q) and the finite dimensional representations of H3(1, q). In this article, we examine the finite-dimensional representations of Hn(l q), equivalently, of D(An(ω)) for any n ≥ 2. We investigate the indecomposable left Hn(1, q)-module, and describe the structures and properties of all indecomposable modules and classify them when k is algebraically closed. We also give all almost split sequences in mod Hn(1, q), and the Auslander-Reiten-quiver of Hn(1 q).  相似文献

Let 𝔭 q (1 + 1) be a nonstandard Poincaré Hopf algebra, we characterize all finite dimensional completely E-semisimple modules of 𝔭 q (1 + 1). We also classify all finite dimensional E-semisimple modules of 𝔭 q for a special quotient algebra of 𝔭 q (1 + 1). Moreover, the decomposition of tensor product of two finite dimensional E-semisimple indecomposable modules is obtained.  相似文献

We consider noncommutative line bundles associated with the Hopf fibrations of SUq(2) over all Podle? spheres and with a locally trivial Hopf fibration of S3pq. These bundles are given as finitely generated projective modules associated via 1-dimensional representations of U(1) with Galois-type extensions encoding the principal fibrations of SUq(2) and S3pq. We show that the Chern numbers of these modules coincide with the winding numbers of representations defining them. To cite this article: P.M. Hajac et al., C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris, Ser. Let H be a Hopf algebra in a rigid symmetric monoidal category C then the evaluation map τis a convolution-invertible skew pairing. In the previous paper, we constructed a Hopf algebra D(H)=H ? r H ?cop in C. In this paper, we first show that D(H) is a quasitriangular Hopf algebra in C. Next, let H be an ordinary triangular finite-dimensional Hopf algebra. Then one can form quasitriangular Hopf algebras B(H,H) and B(H,D(H)) (in a rigid braided monoidal category) by Majid’s method associated to the ordinary Hopf algebra maps HH and iH HD(H), where D(H) is the Drin-fePd quantum double. We show that D (B(H,H)) and B(H,D(H)) are isomorphic Hopf algebras in the braided monoidal category.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Let k be a field, char k ≠ 2, F = k(x), D a biquaternion division algebra over k, and σ an orthogonal involution on D with nontrivial discriminant. We show that there exists a quadratic form ? ∈ I 2(F) such that dim ? = 8, [C(?)] = [D], and ? does not decompose into a direct sum of two forms similar to two-fold Pfister forms. This implies in particular that the field extension F(D)/F is not excellent. Also we prove that if A is a central simple K-algebra of degree 8 with an orthogonal involution σ, then σ is hyperbolic if and only if σ K(A) is hyperbolic. Finally, let σ be a decomposable orthogonal involution on the algebra M 2 m (K). In the case m ≤ 5 we give another proof of the fact that σ is a Pfister involution. If m ≥ 2 n?2 ? 2 and n ≥ 5, we show that q σ ∈ I n (K), where q σ is a quadratic form corresponding to σ. The last statement is founded on a deep result of Orlov et al. (2000) concerning generic splittings of quadratic forms.  相似文献

We prove that certain algebra quotients of Hopf algebras are twisted Hopf algebras. On the other handuq (sl(2)) is a crossed product of a central subalgebra with a quotient [Ubar], when q is a root of 1. Using the cocycle involved in this crossed product we construct non-trivial complex cocycles τ and we find the isomorphism classes of the corresponding twisted Hopf algebras τ [Ubar]. These provide complex projective representations of [Ubar] which are not ordinary representations.  相似文献

Let H = X? R A denote an R-smash product of the two bialgebras X and A. We prove that (X,A) is a pair of matched bialgebras, if the R-smash product H has a braiding structure. When X is an associative algebra and A is a Hopf algebra, we investigate the global dimension and the weak dimension of the smash product H = X? R A and show that lD(H) ≤ rD(A) + lD(X) and wD(H) ≤ wD(A) + wD(X). As an application, we get lD(H 4) = ∞ for Sweedler's four dimensional Hopf algebra H 4. We also study the associativity of smash products and the relations between smash products and factorization for algebras.  相似文献

We derive explicit equations for the maximal function fields F over 𝔽 q 2n given by F = 𝔽 q 2n (X, Y) with the relation A(Y) = f(X), where A(Y) and f(X) are polynomials with coefficients in the finite field 𝔽 q 2n , and where A(Y) is q-additive and deg(f) = q n  + 1. We prove in particular that such maximal function fields F are Galois subfields of the Hermitian function field H over 𝔽 q 2n (i.e., the extension H/F is Galois).  相似文献

Abstract

Let G a simple group of type 2 B 2(q) or 2 G 2(q), where q is an odd power of 2 or 3, respectively. The main goal of this paper is to determine the multiplicity free permutation representations of G and A ≤ Aut(G) where A is a subgroup containing a copy of G. Let B be a Borel subgroup of G. If G = 2 B 2(q) we show that there is only one non-trivial multiplicity free permutation representation, namely the representation of G associated to the action on G/B. If G = 2 G 2(q) we show that there are exactly two such non-trivial representations, namely the representations of G associated to the action on G/B and the action on G/M, where M = UC with U the maximal unipotent subgroup of B and C the unique subgroup of index 2 in the maximal split torus of B. The multiplicity free permutation representations of A correspond to the actions on A/H where H is isomorphic to a subgroup containing B if G = 2 B 2(q), and containing M if G = 2 G 2(q). The problem of determining the multiplicity free representations of the finite simple groups is important, for example, in the classification of distance-transitive graphs.  相似文献

Let A be a finitary algebra over a finite field k, and A- \textmod\text{mod} the category of finite dimensional left A-modules. Let H(A)\mathcal{H}(A) be the corresponding Hall algebra, and for a positive integer r let D r (A) be the subspace of H(A)\mathcal{H}(A) which has a basis consisting of isomorphism classes of modules in A- \textmod\text{mod} with at least r + 1 indecomposable direct summands. If A is the path algebra of the quiver of type A n with linear orientation, then D r (A) is known to be the kernel of the map from the twisted Hall algebra to the quantized Schur algebra indexed by n + 1 and r. For any A, we determine necessary and sufficient conditions for D r (A) to be an ideal and some conditions for D r (A) to be a subring of H(A)\mathcal{H}(A). For A the path algebra of a quiver, we also determine necessary and sufficient conditions for D r (A) to be a subring of H(A)\mathcal{H}(A).  相似文献

In this article, we prove a conjecture of J. G. Thompson for the finite simple group 2 D n (q). More precisely, we show that every finite group G with the property Z(G) = 1 and N(G) = N(2 D n (q)) is necessarily isomorphic to 2 D n (q). Note that N(G) is the set of lengths of conjugacy classes of G.  相似文献

In this article, we provide an alternative approach to the definition of a weak Hopf algebra (WHA). For an associative unital algebra A with a coassociative comultiplication Δ ∈Alg u (A, A ? A), the set of homomorphisms from A to A ? A, which do not preserve the units. If the linear maps Ξ1, Ξ2 ∈ End(A ? A), defined by Ξ1(a ? b) = Δ(a)(1 ? b), Ξ2(a ? b) = (a ? 1)Δ(b), are von Neumann regular elements in the ring End(A ? A) of endomorphisms of A ? A satisfying some appropriate assumptions, we call the A a Hopf-type algebra. We show the existence of a target, a source, a counit, and an antipode of A as in the usual WHA.  相似文献

Let D be an F-central division algebra of index n. Here we present a criterion for the triviality of the group G(D) = D*/Nrd D/F (D*)D′ and thus generalizing various related results published recently. To be more precise, it is shown that G(D) = 1 if and only if SK 1(D) = 1 and F *2 = F *2n . Using this, we investigate the role of some particular subgroups of D* in the algebraic structure of D. In this direction, it is proved that a division algebra D of prime index is a symbol algebra if and only if D* contains a non-abelian nilpotent subgroup. More applications of this criterion including the computation of G(D) and the structure of maximal subgroups of D* are also investigated  相似文献

Let H be a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra and A a finite-dimensional H-simple left H-module algebra. We show that the smash product A#H is isomorphic to End A(V ? H*), where V ≠ 0 is a finite-dimensional left A-module and (A′, V′) the stabilizer of (A, V). As an application it is proved that A#H is isomorphic to a full matrix algebra over A′ when H is semisimple and dim V|dim A.  相似文献

When the base connected cochain DG algebra is cohomologically bounded, it is proved that the difference between the amplitude of a compact DG module and that of the DG algebra is just the projective dimension of that module. This yields the unboundedness of the cohomology of non-trivial regular DG algebras. When A is a regular DG algebra such that H(A) is a Koszul graded algebra, H(A) is proved to have the finite global dimension. And we give an example to illustrate that the global dimension of H(A) may be infinite, if the condition that H(A) is Koszul is weakened to the condition that A is a Koszul DG algebra. For a general regular DG algebra A, we give some equivalent conditions for the Gorensteiness. For a finite connected DG algebra A, we prove that Dc(A) and Dc(A op) admit Auslander-Reiten triangles if and only if A and A op are Gorenstein DG algebras. When A is a non-trivial regular DG algebra such that H(A) is locally finite, Dc(A) does not admit Auslander-Reiten triangles. We turn to study the existence of Auslander-Reiten triangles in Dlfb(A) and Dlfb (A op) instead, when A is a regular DG algebra. To any right comodule coalgebra C over a Hopf algebra H we associate a left H-comodule algebra A. Under certain conditions, in particular in the case where H has nonzero integrals, we show that the category of right C, H-comodules is isomorphic to a certain subcategory of the category of Doi–Hopf modules associated to A. As an application, we investigate the connection between C and the smash coproduct C ? H being right semiperfect.  相似文献

The main aim of the paper is to study infinite-dimensional representations of the real form U q (u n, 1) of the quantized universal enveloping algebra U q (gl n + 1). We investigate the principal series of representations of U q (u n, 1) and calculate the intertwining operators for pairs of these representations. Some of the principal series representations are reducible. The structure of these representations is determined. Then we classify irreducible representations of U q (u n, 1) obtained from irreducible and reducible principal series representations. All *-representations in this set of irreducible representations are separated. Unlike the classical case, the algebra U q (u n, 1) has finite-dimensional irreducible *-representations.  相似文献

I construct a generalized twisted smash product A H B, which gives an abstract structure of Cibils-Rosso's algebra X associated to a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra H, for the H-bimodule algebra A and H-bicomodule algebra B. I show that the Doi-Koppinen Hopf (H, B, D)-bimodules are modules over a certain algebra which is of this type. Moreover, if D is finitely generated projective as a k-module, there exists a k-module-preserving equivalence of categories between the category of Doi-Koppinen (H, B, D)-Hopf bimodules and the category of left (D *op ? D *) H?H op (B ? B op )-modules.  相似文献

In two-dimensional lattice spin systems in which the spins take values in a finite group G, one can define a field algebra F which carries an action of a Hopf algebra D(G), the double algebra of G and moreover, an action of D(G;H), which is a subalgebra of D(G) determined by a subgroup H of G, so that F becomes a modular algebra. The concrete construction of D(G;H)-invariant subspace A H in F is given. By constructing the quasi-basis of conditional expectation γ G of A H onto A G , the C*-index of γ G is exactly the index of H in G.  相似文献

Let U q + be the “upper triangular part” of the quantized enveloping algebra associated with a symetrizable Cartan matrix. We show that U q + is isomorphic (as a Hopf algebra) to the subalgebra generated by elements of degree 0 and 1 of the cotensor Hopf algebra associated with a suitable Hopf bimodule on the group algebra of Z n . This method gives supersymetric as well as multiparametric versions of U q + in a uniform way (for a suitable choice of the Hopf bimodule). We give a classification result about the Hopf algebras which can be obtained in this way, under a reasonable growth condition. We also show how the general formalism allows to reconstruct higher rank quantized enveloping algebras from U q sl(2) and a suitable irreducible finite dimensional representation.
