IMPROVED DAMAGE IDENTIFICATION METHOD BASED ON MODAL INFORMATION   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
In this paper, a newly derived algorithm to predict locations and severities of damage in structures using changes in modal characteristics is presented. First, two existing algorithms of damage detection are reviewed and the new algorithm is formulated in order to improve the accuracy of damage localization and severity estimation by eliminating erratic assumptions and limits in the existing algorithms. Next, the damage prediction accuracy is numerically assessed for each algorithm when applied to a two-span continuous beam for which pre- and post-damage modal parameters are available for only a few modes of vibration. Compared to the existing damage detection algorithms, the new algorithm improved the accuracy of damage localization and severity estimation results in the test beam.  相似文献

The BETACOOL program, developed by electron cooling group of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), is a set of algorithms based on common format of input and output files. The program is oriented toward simulation of the ion beam dynamics in a storage ring in the presence of cooling and heating effects. The version presented in this report includes three basic algorithms: simulation of root-mean-square (rms) parameters of the particle distribution function evolving in time, simulation of the distribution function evolution using the Monte Carlo method, and a tracking algorithm based on a molecular dynamics technique. The general processes investigated with the program are intrabeam scattering in the ion beam, electron cooling, and interaction with residual gas and an internal target.  相似文献

在分析了双激光束干涉条纹特点的基础上 ,提出了基于遗传算法的最小二乘非线性曲线拟合法 ,以实现对双激光束干涉条纹的高精度细分定位。该算法以高斯调制余弦平方函数为拟合模型 ,为克服目标函数在参数空间上存在多极 (小 )值现象 ,引入了具有全局优化能力的遗传算法以实现对目标函数寻优。仿真及实验研究表明 :该方法用于双光束干涉条纹处理具有很好的鲁棒性和自适应能力  相似文献

The principle of automatic beam tuning of accelerator based on genetic algorithms(GA) is expounded. Designing method of the automatic beam tuning system is introduced. A novel three-dimensional wide-angle beam propagation method based on the split-step fast Fourier transform is developed. The formulation is based on the three-dimensional Helmholtz wave equation. Each propagation step is performed by utilizing both the FFT and split-step scheme. The solution of Helmholtz wave equation does not make the slowly varying envelope and one-way propagation approximations. To validate the efficiency and accuracy, numerical results for a propagation beam in a tilted step-index optical waveguide are compared with other beam propagation algorithms.  相似文献

This paper introduces a wavepacket-transform-based Gaussian beam method for solving the Schrödinger equation. We focus on addressing two computational issues of the Gaussian beam method: how to generate a Gaussian beam representation for general initial conditions and how to perform long time propagation for any finite period of time. To address the first question, we introduce fast Gaussian wavepacket transforms and develop on top of them an efficient initialization algorithm for general initial conditions. Based on this new initialization algorithm, we address the second question by reinitializing the beam representation when the beams become too wide. Numerical examples in one, two, and three dimensions demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed algorithms. The methodology can be readily generalized to deal with other semi-classical quantum mechanical problems.  相似文献

This paper describes the construction of the beam 12C+6 transport line for biomedical research at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) Nuclotron accelerator complex. We have studied the scheme and operating modes of magneto-optical elements of the channel. The calculation results are presented for the carbon ion transport channel under study. The control algorithms of the carbon ion beam in the transportation system are discussed. The choice of the magneto-optical system is explained. The beam envelopes in the channel are plotted.  对采用光波波段测量大气湍流强度廓线的湍流廓线激光雷达进行了研究。利用焦点附近的大气瑞利后向散射作为测量信标测量湍流信息,当聚焦高度不同时,可以测得不同高度的整层信息,从而可以得到一系列高度的整层湍流信息,最后通过算法得到分层的大气湍流廓线。介绍了湍流廓线激光雷达系统的组成原理和系统结构,采用像增强器的控制系统使得系统的有效测试距离达到15 km;通过与传统测量方法的对比,得出了可以作为湍流强度廓线测量工具的结论。最后展望了该系统的应用前景。  相似文献

A rod cylinder based pneumatic driving scheme is proposed to suppress the vibration of a flexible smart beam. Pulse code modulation (PCM) method is employed to control the motion of the cylinder's piston rod for simultaneous positioning and vibration suppression. Firstly, the system dynamics model is derived using Hamilton principle. Its standard state-space representation is obtained for characteristic analysis, controller design, and simulation. Secondly, a genetic algorithm (GA) is applied to optimize and tune the control gain parameters adaptively based on the specific performance index. Numerical simulations are performed on the pneumatic driving elastic beam system, using the established model and controller with tuned gains by GA optimization process. Finally, an experimental setup for the flexible beam driven by a pneumatic rod cylinder is constructed. Experiments for suppressing vibrations of the flexible beam are conducted. Theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed pneumatic drive scheme and the adopted control algorithms are feasible. The large amplitude vibration of the first bending mode can be suppressed effectively.  相似文献

In compliance with the commonly adopted small anisotropy approximation, a beam tracing modeling of a 2×2 extended Jones matrix algorithm is proposed, which traces the phase retardation along the geometric beam path, instead of along the normal direction, as the light beam is propagating through a stratified anisotropic structure. Consequently, polarization transformation at interfaces of the structure is unified by rotational operations of the coordinate system for light waves incident at both normal and oblique angles. Numerical simulations on optical transmittance demonstrate rational and consistent results with respect to currently prevailing algorithms.  相似文献

提出了一种用于衍射光学元件优化设计的混合遗传迭代爬山算法,该算法将迭代量化傅里叶变换算法融入到遗传算法中,然后在整体遗传算法结束后,对找到的当前最优解再用爬山法进行局部寻优,从而得到最优的衍射光学元件表面相位分布.用该混合方法设计了衍射光学元件,可以将入射的高斯光束整形成方形的均匀光斑.模拟结果表明:该混合算法具有收敛速度快、设计准确度高等优点.相比于其它设计方法,本文提出的方法能较好地改善整形效果,特别适用于光束整形的衍射元件设计.  相似文献

轨道校正是加速器束流调节最基本的步骤之一,也是目前各加速器实验室共同面对的问题之一。在传统方法中,线性代数工具被应用于各种类型的响应矩阵,以解决响应矩阵的奇异性等问题。提出一种基于机器学习的加速器轨道校正方法,可以避免处理响应矩阵的问题通过直接读取BPM数据和校正磁铁强度值实时构建机器学习模型快速地对轨道进行修正。对机器学习的轨道校正方法进行了介绍,并从数学公式、算法模型、在模拟和真实数据上的测试等方面对该方法进行了讨论。结果表明,在误差范围内该方法能有效的对加速器束流轨道进行校正。  相似文献

 为了研究大气激光通信中稳定跟踪所采用的器件及有效跟踪方法,分析了光束定位探测器件(电荷耦合器件和四象限光电探测器)的灵敏度特性,结合影响大气激光通信跟踪系统性能的五种大气湍流效应,分别讨论了光束漂移、光强起伏、光斑弥散、到达角起伏及光束扩展的原理.对质心跟踪算法和形心跟踪算法定位准确度的影响进行分析,得到在大气条件下形心算法的跟踪误差小于质心误差的结论,并通过实验进行了验证.  相似文献

The importance of characterizing beam quality for technical applications by suitable parameters is pointed out. An approach to quality diagnostics of concave spherical surfaces by a grazing X-ray beam is considered. Errors of the approach in locating defects and finding their sizes are estimated. The algebraic method of experimental data reconstruction is considerably modified to obtain a surface distribution of defects attenuating the grazing beam. Simulation of charged-particle beam devices using particle-in-cell methods in (r, z) cylindrical coordinates can be extremely efficient, incorporating a majority of the physics and yielding high resolution with minimal computational costs. However, accuracy requires adjustment of solution coefficients and particle/current weights with radius, especially near the cylindrical axis. Prior algorithms have been based on special models and approximations with no consistent method for computing coefficients in general cases. The Local Taylor Polynomial (LTP) technique presented in this paper provides a general framework for determination of coefficients and development of PDE solution algorithms. The LTP method employs a local (polynomial) solution of the continuum PDE to construct numerical algorithms. As a result, LTP systematically generates accurate coefficients and incorporates fields and sources on an equal basis. This paper focuses on the scalar Poisson PDE in cylindrical coordinates to illustrate the LTP technique, coefficient derivation, electric field calculation and handling of space charge effects. Application of LTP to non-conformal boundaries and non-uniform grids is presented. Although focused on cylindrical coordinates in this paper, the LTP technique has general applicability to other PDE’s and geometries, and is broadly applicable to problems in beam/field simulation.  相似文献

6G – sixth generation – is the latest cellular technology currently under development for wireless communication systems. In recent years, machine learning (ML) algorithms have been applied widely in various fields, such as healthcare, transportation, energy, autonomous cars, and many more. Those algorithms have also been used in communication technologies to improve the system performance in terms of frequency spectrum usage, latency, and security. With the rapid developments of ML techniques, especially deep learning (DL), it is critical to consider the security concern when applying the algorithms. While ML algorithms offer significant advantages for 6G networks, security concerns on artificial intelligence (AI) models are typically ignored by the scientific community so far. However, security is also a vital part of AI algorithms because attackers can poison the AI model itself. This paper proposes a mitigation method for adversarial attacks against proposed 6G ML models for the millimeter-wave (mmWave) beam prediction using adversarial training. The main idea behind generating adversarial attacks against ML models is to produce faulty results by manipulating trained DL models for 6G applications for mmWave beam prediction. We also present a proposed adversarial learning mitigation method’s performance for 6G security in mmWave beam prediction application a fast gradient sign method attack. The results show that the defended model under attack’s mean square errors (i.e., the prediction accuracy) are very close to the undefended model without attack.  相似文献

定义了激光光束衍射远场光斑压缩前后的能量比以及能量密度比来衡量超衍射极限激光光束的质量。通过利用反向传递算法设计了合适的补偿相位板,不但对准直放大的单一横模激光光束进行小于光学衍射极限的发散度的压缩,同时又保证光束能量集中于压缩后的远场衍射主瓣中,使压缩后的远场衍射光斑的能量密度增加。给出了相应的实例。这一结论不但解决了光学超分辨中光束压缩与能量损失不可避免这一矛盾,而且为发散度小且能量密度高的超衍射极限激光光束的实验工作以及该类光束的实际应用提供了理论基础。  相似文献

Based on the hierarchy of mathematical models with regard to parallel algorithms and effective systems, the interaction of a femtosecond-laser pulse with a transparent dielectric medium (fiber-optic glass) is numerically simulated. The features of this interaction are studied for the initial Gaussian and ring distributions of the laser beam. The critical powers at which a local collapse of the beam takes place are determined for the Schrödinger equation. A comparison of the results obtained using various models is presented.  相似文献
