Brilliant blue FCF‐modified glassy carbon electrodes have been prepared by cycling the Nafion (or poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDDAC)) coated electrodes repeatedly 15 cycles in brilliant blue FCF (BB FCF) dye solution. The BB FCF molecules are incorporated into Nafion coating by cycling the film‐covered electrode between +0.3 to 1.2 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) in pH 1.5 BB FCF solution while PDDAC‐coated electrode cycled between 0 to ?1.0 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) in pH 6.5 BB FCF solution to immobilize the dye. Electrostatic interaction between dye molecule and PDDAC was predominant in PDDAC coating whereas immobilization of dye in Nafion film attributed to the combined effect of electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions. The voltammetric features of BB FCF‐modified electrodes resemble that of surface‐confined redox couples. The peak potentials of BB FCF‐incorporated PDDAC‐coated electrode were shifted to more positive potential region with decreasing pH of contacting solution. BB FCF‐modified electrodes showed electrocatalytic activity towards reduction of oxygen and oxidation of L ‐cysteine with significant decease of overvoltage compared to unmodified electrode. The BB FCF‐modified Nafion‐coated electrode was tested for its analytical applications toward determination of L ‐cysteine. The linear range of calibration plot at BB FCF‐modified Nafion‐coated electrode is 10 to 100 μM, which coincides with L ‐cysteine levels in biological fluids. Sensitivity and detection limit of the electrode are 111 nA μM?1 and 0.5 μM, respectively.  相似文献

An amperometric glucose biosensor based on multi‐walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) modified glassy carbon electrode has been developed. MWCNT‐modified glassy carbon electrode was obtained by casting the electrode surface with multi‐walled carbon nanotube materials. Glucose oxidase was co‐immobilized on the MWCNT‐modified glassy carbon surface by electrochemical deposition of poly(o‐phenylenediamine) film. Enhanced catalytic electroreduction behavior of oxygen at MWCNT‐modified electrode surface was observed at a potential of ?0.40 V (vs. Ag|AgCl) in neutral medium. The steady‐state amperometric response to glucose was determined at a selected potential of ?0.30 V by means of the reduction of dissolved oxygen consumed by the enzymatic reaction. Common interferents such as ascorbic acid, 4‐acetamidophenol, and uric acid did not interfere in the glucose determination. The linear range for glucose determination extended to 2.0 mM and the detection limit was estimated to be about 0.03 mM.  相似文献

Abstract

The voltammetric determination of rutin in 0.04 mol l?1 B‐R buffer (pH 4.0) by square wave voltammograms (+0.41 V vs. Ag/AgCl(sat.)) at a poly glutamic acid modified glassy carbon electrode was found to be several orders of magnitude lower than that on a bare glassy carbon electrode. Rutin can be preconcentrated on the films of poly glutamic acid and presented linear relationship from concentration of 7×10?7 to 1×10?5 mol l?1 in 0.04 mol l?1 B‐R buffer pH 4.0. The method was successfully applied to the determination of rutin in pharmaceutical formulation without any pretreatment.  相似文献

The voltammetric behavior of ramipril (RMP), an angiotensin‐converting enzyme inhibitor, was investigated for the first time in the literature on a boron‐doped diamond electrode (BDDE) using cyclic (CV) and square‐wave voltammetry (SWV). Its behavior was also considered in the presence of a thiazide diuretic, hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ), for the simultaneous determination. The performance of BDDE and glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was compared, since RMP provides a high oxidation potential. It was observed that the anodic peak potentials for HCTZ and RMP at the BDDE were 1.23 and 1.67 V (vs . Ag/AgCl (3.0 mol L‐1 KCl)) by CV in BR buffer solution (pH 2.0), respectively. The influence of supporting electrolyte, pH and scan rate in the current response of these both drugs was examined to select optimum experimental conditions. By this way, the determination of RMP and its association with HCTZ using SWV and a BDDE was successfully applied in real samples (single and combined dosage forms), with results in close agreement at 95% confidence level with those obtained using high‐performance liquid chromatography.  相似文献

The electrochemical oxidation of the three fluoroquinolone drugs FQs: gatifloxacin GTF, moxifloxacin MXF and sparfloxacin SPF, at the bare and DNA‐modified glassy carbon electrodes has been studied by voltammetric techniques. The three FQs showed one irreversible oxidation peak at potential range 0.85–0.91 V vs. Ag‐AgCl, in phosphate buffer of pH 7.0. Differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and UV‐absorption spectroscopic techniques were employed to probe the interaction between the FQs and calf thymus double stranded deoxyribonucleic acid (ds CT‐DNA). From electrochemical data, the binding constant between DNA and the gatifloxacin, moxifloxacin and sparfloxacin are calculated to be 3228, 2596 and 2857 M?1 respectively. Based on electrochemical and spectroscopic results, the mode of binding of fluoroquinolone to DNA through combined effect of intercalation and electrostatic interaction was concluded. A detection scheme based on a preconcentration and differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) determination at dsDNA modified glassy carbon electrode (DNA/GCE) was proposed for the trace determination of the studied analytes. The developed method was successfully applied to the determination of the FQs in pharmaceutical formulations.  相似文献

Glucose oxidase showed direct electrochemical transfer at glassy carbon electrodes immobilized with carbon nanotube‐gold colloid (CNT‐Au) composites with poly(diallydimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA) coatings. The modified electrode (GC/CNT/Au/PDDA‐GOD) was employed for the amperometric determination of glucose. Under optimal conditions, the biosensor displayed linear response to glucose from 0.5 to 5 mM with a sensitivity of 2.50 mA M?1 at an applied potential of ?0.3 V (vs. Ag|AgCl reference).  相似文献

Square‐wave voltammetric detection of dopamine was studied at a copper (Cu)‐(3‐mercaptopropyl) trimethoxy silane (MPS)‐complex modified electrode (Cu‐MPS). The modification of the electrode was based on the attachment of MPS onto an electrochemically activated glassy carbon electrode (GCE) by the interaction between methoxy silane groups of MPS and surface hydroxyl groups and followed by the complexation of copper with the thiol groups of MPS. The surface of the modified electrode was further coated by a thin layer of Nafion film. The surface of the Nafion coated MPS‐Cu complex modified electrode (Nafion/Cu‐MPS) was characterized using cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR) spectrometry. The modified electrode exhibited an excellent electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of dopamine, which was oxidized at a reduced potential of +0.35 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) at a wider pH range. Various experimental parameters, such as the amount of copper, the pH, and the temperature were optimized. A linear calibration plot was obtained in the concentration range between 8.0×10?8 M and 5.0×10?6 M and the detection limit was determined to be 5.0×10?8 M. The other common biological compounds including ascorbic acid did not interfere and the modified electrode showed an excellent specificity to the detection of dopamine. The Nafion/Cu‐MPS modified electrode can be used for about 2 months without any significant loss in sensitivity.  相似文献

Poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) film was prepared on glassy carbon electrode from 0.1 M LiClO4 aqueous solution containing 3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) monomer and hydroxypropyl‐β‐cyclodextrin (HP‐β‐CD), by multiple scan cyclic voltammetry. The effect of oxidation potentials on electropolymerization of EDOT was examined by chronoamperometry and cyclic voltammetric techniques. The results of potentiostatic experiments show that optimum potential range to obtain compact stable film was 0.9 to 1.05 V (vs. Ag/AgCl). At higher positive potential, i.e. above 1.05 V, polymer growth was hindered by passivation effect. The PEDOT film exhibited a strong absorption at 550 nm in the UV‐vis region and also a multicolor electrochromism in different buffer solutions (sky blue‐purple red). Cyclic voltammetric features of PEDOT‐coated electrode in pure supporting electrolyte suggested that charge transfer of the film resembles that of surface‐confined redox species. Finally, the electrocatalytic behavior of PEDOT‐modified electrode was tested towards oxidation of sulfur oxoanions and nitrite using cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

The aim of this study is the development of a miniaturized voltammetric method for the determination of an antimycobacterial agent 1‐hydroxy‐N‐(4‐nitrophenyl)naphthalene‐2‐carboxamide (HNN) in a single drop (20 μL) of a solution by cathodic and anodic voltammetry at a glassy carbon electrode. Cyclic voltammetry was used to investigate its redox properties followed by the optimization of differential pulse voltammetric determination in a regular 10 mL volume. The optimal medium for the analytical application of both cathodic and anodic voltammetry was found to be Britton‐Robinson buffer pH 7.0 and dimethyl sulfoxide (9 : 1, v/v). HNN gave one cathodic peak at around −0.6 V and one anodic peak at around +0.2 V vs. Ag|AgCl (3 mol L−1 KCl) reference electrode. Determination of HNN in a 10 mL volume gave the limit of quantification around 10 nmol L−1 by both adsorptive stripping anodic and cathodic voltammetry. Afterwards, miniaturized voltammetric methods in a single drop of solution (20 μL) were investigated. This approach requested some modifications of the cell design and voltammetric procedures. A novel method of removing dissolved oxygen in a single drop had to be developed and tested. Developed miniaturized voltammetric methods gave parameters comparable to the determination of HNN in 10 mL. The applicability of the miniaturized method was verified by the determination of HNN in a drop of a bacterial growth medium.  相似文献

The determination of Pb and Cd with a Nafion‐modified glassy carbon electrode and Cu‐DPABA complex (Cu‐DPABA–NA/GCE; DPABA is methyl 3,5‐bis{bis‐[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methyl]amino}methyl‐benzoate) as an alternative electrode for anodic stripping voltammetry was described. Pb and Cd were accumulated in acetate buffer pH 4 at a potential of ?1.4 V (vs. Ag/AgCl electrode) for 120 s followed by a DPASV scan from ?1.2 to ?0.2 V. Under optimum conditions the calibration curves were linear in the range of 4.8×10?9–5.0×10?5 and 5.0×10?9–5×10?5 mol L?1 for Pb and Cd, respectively. Detection limits were 1.8×10?9 and 1.2×10?9 mol L?1 for Pb and Cd, respectively. Different parameters and conditions, such as membrane ingredients, accumulation time, potential and pH value were optimized. A study of interfering substances was also performed. A significant increase in current was achieved at the modified electrode in comparison with the bare glassy carbon electrode. The validation of the proposed method was made by Pb and Cd determination in the certified reference material Groundwater CRM 610 (BCR, Community Bureau of Reference, Brussels, Belgium). The electrode was successfully applied for determination of Pb and Cd in river water with a high content of organic contaminants without any pretreatment.  相似文献

The use of a thin thiol‐functionalized silica film modified glassy carbon electrode in the determination of Hg(II) ions in a natural water sample is described. A typical measurement involves two successive steps: a glassy carbon electrode coated with a thin mesoporous silica film containing 10% of mercaptopropyl groups, according to the MPTMS/TEOS ratio in the starting sol‐gel, was first immersed into the accumulation medium for 15 min, then removed, and finally transferred into a detection solution containing KCl 1.0 mol L?1 where detection was performed by anodic stripping voltammetry. In this medium the previously accumulated Hg2+ species complexed by the thiol groups in an open circuit preconcentration step is then directly reduced at ?0.6 V during 60 s prior to be quantified by a differential pulse anodic scan from ?0.6 to 0.3 V (vs. Ag/AgCl). A stripping peak appeared at about ?0.01 V, which is directly proportional to the quantity of the analyte previously accumulated into the film. The best results were obtained under the following conditions: 100 mV pulse amplitude and 10 mV s?1 scan rate in 1.0 mol L?1 KCl solution pH 2.0. Using such parameters a linear dynamic range from 1.00 to 10.0×10?8 mol L?1 Hg(II) was observed with a limit of detection of 4.3 nmol L?1 for an accumulation time of 15 min. Hg(II) spiked in a natural water sample was determined between 97.0 and 101.4% mean recovery at 10?8 mol L?1 level. The results indicate that this electrode is sensitive and selective for the Hg(II)determination.  相似文献

A new disposable sensitive voltammetric sensor for the determination of Fe(III) based on a graphene (G) and piroxicam (Pir) modified screen printed carbon electrode (Pir/G/SPCE) has been developed. The developed method is based on accumulation of Fe(III) on the surface of the prepared sensor strip, formation a complex with Pir and subsequent reduction the adsorbed chelated Fe(III) at ?0.03 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) coupled with the catalytic enhancement of bromate. Characterizations of the modified electrode surface were performed by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE‐SEM), energy dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDX) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Electrochemical behavior of the modified SPCEs was investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). Under the optimum conditions, the catalytic voltammetric method exhibited linear calibration plot in the concentration ranges of 1–100 ng mL?1 and 100–3500 ng mL?1 Fe(III) with a limit of detection of 0.3 ng mL?1. The sensor strip displayed good reproducibility with 1.7 % relative standard deviation (RSD%). The developed method was successfully applied for the determination of iron in food samples such as vegetables, fruit, and cereal.  相似文献

A new glassy carbon electrode modified with novel calix[4]‐arene derivative was prepared and then applied to the selective recognition of lead ion in aqueous media by cyclic and square wave voltammetry. A new anodic stripping peak at ? 0.92 V (vs. Ag/Ag+) in square wave voltammogram can be obtained by scanning the potential from ? 1.5 to ? 0.6 V, of which the peak current is proportional to the concentration of Pb2+. The modified electrode in 0.1 mol/L HNO3 solution showed a linear voltammetric response in the range of 2.0 × 10–8–1.0 × 10–6 mol/L and a detection limit of 6.1 × 10–9 mol/L. In the modified glassy carbon electrode no significant interference occurred from alkali, alkaline and transition metal ions except Hg2+, Ag+ and Cu2+ ions, which can be eliminated by the addition of KSCN. The proposed method was successfully applied to determine lead in aqueous samples.  相似文献

Based on preliminary voltammetric investigations at unmodified and modified electrodes in aqueous solutions buffered at different pHs, a profitable thin layer dual‐electrode detector was developed for the selective and simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid (AA) and hydrogen peroxide present in the same samples. It consists of a small thickness (0.1 mm) cell, used as a detector for a flow injection system, in which a glassy carbon (GC) and a polyeugenol coated Pt electrode are encased. The GC electrode is selective for AA, thanks to the potential applied (0.3 V vs. Ag/AgCl,Cl?sat), while H2O2 alone can be oxidized at the Pt electrode (0.75 V), thanks to the size selectivity and electrostatic screen properties displayed by the polyeugenol coating layer which prevents oxidation of ascorbate anions. Repeatable sharp peaks (±4.5 %) were detected for both analytes over wide linear ranges (0.005–1.000 mM) and detection limits of about 10?6 M (176 ppb) and 5×10?7 M (16 ppb) were inferred for AA and H2O2 respectively. This flow injection approach was applied to the analysis of some orange‐taste soft drinks, used as prototype real samples, spiked with controlled amounts of both analytes, thus inferring good recoveries which pointed out that deviations never exceeding 5 % affected the relevant accuracy.  相似文献

A new voltammetric sensor based on molecularly imprinted poly(acrylic acid)‐MWCNT nanocomposite (MIP‐MWCNT) drop‐coated onto glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was developed and applied to tramadol (TR) determination in pharmaceutical samples. The voltammetric sensor prepared by suspension of MIP‐MWCNT at 1 : 1 (w/w) ratio show an improved performance compared to unmodified GCE. The electrochemical method is based on preconcentration of tramadol onto MIP‐MWCNT modified GCE surface at ?1.5 V vs Ag/AgCl for 180 s in 0.1 Britton‐Robinson buffer (pH 8.0) at stirred solution. Upon preconcentration, the differential anodic voltammogram was recorded under the optimized condition giving rise to an analytical curve varying from 9.0 up to 30.0 μmol L?1 (R2=0.997) and limits of detection and quantification of 1.4 and 4.8 μmol L?1, respectively. The method precision was assessed in terms of intraday (n=6) and interday (two consecutive days) precision, giving relative standard deviations (RSD%) values between 2.8 to 7.4 %. Excipients usually found in pharmaceutical pills (magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, starch, and silica) and paracetamol were evaluated as potential interferents, however no interference was evidenced in TR determination. The method applicability was evaluated by TR analysis in pharmaceutical samples. Moreover, the method accuracy was attested by comparison of addition and recovery assays with a reference technique (high‐performance liquid chromatography).  相似文献

Sodium montmorillonite was prepared via a colloidal chemical approach and deposited onto glassy carbon electrodes (GCE). Myoglobin was immobilized on the clay membrane modified electrode by spontaneous adsorption. Characterization of the myoglobin/clay/glassy carbon electrode (Mb/clay/GCE) showed a quasi‐reversible, electrochemical redox behavior of the adsorbed protein with a formal potential of ?0.380±0.010 V (vs. Ag/AgCl). The heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant was found to be strongly influenced by the buffer concentration. The Mb/clay/GCE was stable for several days in solution. The interaction of the immobilized Mb with nitric oxide (NO) is characterized by coordination chemistry. The reaction was found to be reversible and could be applied for NO detection in the nanomolar concentration range by a voltammetric analysis. In addition a mixed protein electrode with co‐immmobilized myoglobin (Mb) and cytochrome c (Cyt.c) was developed. By choice of the electrode potential both proteins can be addressed independently.  相似文献

A reliable and simple electrochemical method has been proposed for the simultaneous determination of paracetamol (PAR) and p‐aminophenol (PAP) in pharmaceutical formulations. The oxidation and reduction peak potentials in cyclic voltammetry (CV) for PAR on carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) were occurred at 370 and 225 mV vs. Ag/AgCl, respectively at pH 7.0, while those for PAP on CILE appeared at 128 mV and 68 mV, respectively at the scan rate of 0.05 V s?1. In comparison to the conventional carbon paste electrode, the apparent reversibility and kinetics of the electrochemical reactions of PAR and PAP were significantly improved on CILE. In differential pulse voltammetric technique, the peak potentials for PAR and PAP appeared at 345 and 130 mV, respectively, with the peak separation of 215 mV, sufficient for their simultaneous determination in samples containing these two species. The proposed method was used for simultaneous determination of PAR and PAP in tablets. PAR and PAP can be determined in the ranges of 2.0×10?6–2.2×10?3 M and 3.0×10?7–1.0×10?3 M, with the detection limits of 5.0×10?7 and 1.0×10?7 M (calculated by 3σ), respectively. The relative standard deviations for the determination of PAR and PAP were less than 2%.  相似文献

This paper reports the construction, characterization and use of copper solid amalgam electrode in the study of the electrochemical behavior of atrazine and ametryne herbicides by square‐wave voltammetry. This study was used as basis for the development of sensitive analytical methods for the determination of these herbicides in natural water, avoiding the use of mercury, by means of a solid electrode that presents high sensitivity and minimizes any environment contamination with mercury residues. The experimental and voltammetric conditions were evaluated and the results showed a reduction peak for atrazine at ?0.98 and at ?1.1 V vs. Ag/AgCl 3.0 mol L?1 for ametryne, both with characteristic of an irreversible electrode reaction in an electrochemical diffusion controlled process, involving two electrons for each herbicide reduction. Based on voltammetric studies, it has been demonstrated that the most possible mechanism for the reduction of herbicides involved reduction of bond carbon‐chloride for atrazine and the reduction of bond carbon–SCH3 for ametryne. The detection limit of herbicides obtained in pure water (laboratory samples) was shown to be lower than the maximum limit of residue established for natural water by the Brazilian Environmental Agency, demonstrating that this methodology is very suitable for determining any contamination by atrazine and ametryne residues in different samples, proving a good substitute for mercury electrodes.  相似文献
