当高功率激光通过Kerr非线性介质传输时,Kerr效应会严重影响激光的传输特性.实际应用中常遇到像散光束.迄今为止,像散光束传输特性的研究大都局限于在线性介质中的传输,而在非线性介质中传输的研究较少,且还未涉及像散激光束通过含光学系统的Kerr非线性介质传输变换的研究.本文主要研究Kerr效应对聚焦光束像散特性和焦移特性的影响,以及聚焦像散高斯光束的自聚焦焦距和光束焦点调控.在光束扩展情况下,推导出了聚焦像散高斯光束在Kerr非线性介质中传输的束宽、束腰位置和焦移的解析公式,研究表明:在自聚焦介质中,随着自聚焦作用增强(如光束功率增强),光束像散越强,但焦移越小;在自散焦介质中,随着自散焦作用增强(如光束功率增强),光束像散越弱,但焦移越大.另一方面,在光束自聚焦情况下,推导出了自聚焦焦距的解析公式,研究表明利用光束像散可以调控光束焦点个数.  相似文献

Diffraction phenomena accompanying the propagation of narrow directed beams of coherent radiation in a medium with anisotropy of absorption and gain are theoretically analyzed. A quasi-optical equation is obtained, which differs from the traditional equation by the complexity of the diffraction coefficient, and this leads to effective diffusion of radiation in anisotropically absorbing media. Because of this, the intensity of minima observed in the far-field region in the case of diffraction of coherent radiation by a slit does not vanish, but has a finite value. The solution for Gaussian beams is constructed. It is shown that the beam width increases as the square root of the path length in an anisotropic medium, whereas the angular divergence varies in inverse proportion to the square root of the path length.  相似文献

本文从理论上分析了高斯光脉冲在非线性增益介质中的传播特性,从而解释高斯光脉冲的压缩及展宽和形成光孤子的机理。用计算机模拟了不同参数的高斯光脉冲在非线性增益介质中的传播过程,并获得了脉宽沿传播方向变化的定量关系。结果表明,以不同能量向增益介质中注入高斯脉冲,有可能产生各阶光孤子,但由于增益的存在,光孤子的传输距离受到限制。  相似文献

This paper presents propagation of two cross-focused intense hollow Gaussian laser beams(HGBs) in collisionless plasma and its effect on the generation of electron plasma wave(EPW) and electron acceleration process,when relativistic and ponderomotive nonlinearities are simultaneously operative. Nonlinear differential equations have been set up for beamwidth of laser beams, power of generated EPW, and energy gain by electrons using WKB and paraxial approximations. Numerical simulations have been carried out to investigate the effect of typical laser-plasma parameters on the focusing of laser beams in plasmas and further its effect on power of excited EPW and acceleration of electrons. It is observed that focusing of two laser beams in plasma increases for higher order of hollow Gaussian beams,which significantly enhanced the power of generated EPW and energy gain. The amplitude of EPW and energy gain by electrons is found to enhance with an increase in the intensity of laser beams and plasma density. This study will be useful to plasma beat wave accelerator and in other applications requiring multiple laser beams.  相似文献

Solutions of the parabolic equation which describes propagation of Bessel–Gaussian beams along the axis of an axially-symmetric medium having quadratic inhomogeneity have been obtained and investigated. It is shown that in the process of propagation the parameters of the beams change nonmonotonically. In the case of a transparent medium the beams periodically recover their initial structure.  相似文献

基于瑞利-索末菲衍射积分理论,利用交叉谱密度函数推导出双半高斯空心光束在湍流大气中传输时的解析表达式,并主要研究了湍流介质折射率结构常数C2n对空心光束传输特性的影响,得到了双半高斯空心光束在不同条件下传输时的光强分布.研究表明,C2n的增大加剧了近场中传输的空心光束的衍射效应,这不仅缩短了空心光束完全演变成为高斯光束时所需的传输距离,而且还增加了此后高斯光束向外扩展的程度.  相似文献

The polarization properties of vectorial coherent nonparaxial Gaussian beams are studied. It is shown that, when the source of a nonparaxial Gaussian beam is completely polarized, the degree of polarization of the propagation field maintains a constant value of 1. However, when the source is completely unpolarized, the degree of polarization does not maintain a constant value of 0. In the far field, vectorial nonparaxial Gaussian beams can become partially polarized, except on the propagation axis, and are spatially nonuniform across a typical cross section of the beam even though the source field is completely unpolarized.  相似文献

对双曲余弦高斯光束通过有硬边光阑的一阶ABCD光学系统的传输进行了研究,采用将矩形域函数表示为复高斯函数叠加的技巧,推导出了解析的传输公式,在特殊情况下,该公式简化为在无光阑情况下的传输公式,对双曲余弦高斯光束通过有光阑限制的薄膜镜聚焦进行了数值计算,计算结果与直接由柯林斯(Collins)公式所得结果一致,且此解析方法便于进行物理分析,可节约大量机时。  相似文献

Benefiting from the earlier derivations for the Gaussian beam, we formulate beam wander for dark hollow (DH) and flat-topped (FT) beams, also covering the annular Gaussian (AG) beam as a special case. Via graphical illustrations, beam wander variations of these beams are analyzed and compared among themselves and to the fundamental Gaussian beam against changes in propagation length, amplitude factor, source size, wavelength of operation, inner and outer scales of turbulence. These comparisons show that in relation to the fundamental Gaussian beam, DH and FT beams will exhibit less beam wander, particularly at small primary beam source sizes, lower amplitude factors of the secondary beam and higher beam orders. Furthermore, DH and FT beams will continue to preserve this advantageous position all throughout the considered range of wavelengths, inner and outer scales of turbulence. FT beams, in particular, are observed to have the smallest beam wander values among all, up to certain source sizes.  相似文献

利用偏心高斯光束相干叠加方法,建立了柱坐标系下环状平顶光束模型.采用广义强度二阶矩定义,推导出环状光束广义M2因子的解析表达式.利用广义衍射积分理论,给出环状光束经过近轴ABCD光学系统的传输公式,并进一步给出了环状平顶光束修正的菲涅耳数定义.分析了环状平顶光束在自由空间的传输规律.研究结果表明,该模型可统一描述基模高斯光束、环状高斯光束以及环状平顶光束.环状平顶光束的广义M2因子和环状平顶光束的传输特性与其阶数及遮拦比有关.  相似文献

In this paper, a more generalized beam containing an elegant Hermite Gaussian beam and a cosine Gaussian beam, which is called elegant Hermite cosine Gaussian (EHcoG) beam, is introduced and studied. The propagation properties of the EHcoG laser beams through a first-order paraxial optical system are demonstrated analytically and numerically. The recurrence propagation equations of the EHcoG beams through a first-order paraxial optical system with and without aperture are derived, from which the analytical propagation expression for EHcoG beams of any order can be obtained by means of the recursive procedures. The validity of the analytical results is confirmed by the numerical results.  相似文献

Gaussian beams provide a useful insonifying field for surface or interface scattering problems such as encountered in electromagnetics, acoustics and seismology. Gaussian beams have these advantages: (i) They give a finite size for the scattering region on the interface. (ii) The incident energy is restricted to a small range of grazing angles. (iii) They do not have side lobes. (iv) They have a convenient mathematical expression. The major disadvantages are: (i) Insonification of an interface is nonuniform. The scattered field will depend on the location of the scatterers within the beam. (ii) The beams spread, so that propagation becomes an integral component of the scattering problem. A standard beam parameterization is proposed which keeps propagation effects uniform among various models so that the effects of scattering only can be compared. In continuous wave problems, for a given angle of incidence and incident amplitude threshold, there will be an optimum Gaussian beam which keeps the insonified area as small as possible. For numerical solutions of pulse beams, these standard parameters provide an estimate of the smallest truncated domain necessary for a physically meaningful result.  相似文献

Based on the extended Huygens–Fresnel Principle and the unified theory of coherence and polarization, the analytical formulas for the polarization degree and spectral coherence degree of partially coherent electromagnetic elegant Laguerre–Gaussian (PCEELG) beams through turbulent atmosphere are obtained theoretically in detail. It is found that the polarization degree of PCEELG beams tends to the value of its source plane after a sufficiently long propagation distance in turbulent atmosphere. Furthermore, this value is independent of the beam orders, the correlation length in the source plane and the structure constant of the turbulent atmosphere ( $C_{n}^{2}$ ). The polarization degree of PCEELG beams also acquires a particular value at a certain distance in free space, which is different from the value in the source plane. The spectral coherence degree of PCEELG beams has an oscillatory behavior for different propagation distance, beam orders and  $C_{n}^{2}$ .  相似文献

建立了空心锥状双高斯光束的模型.在空心高斯光束模型的基础上,由初始光场的光强分布,利用柱坐标下的柯林斯公式,导出了空心锥状双高斯光束经过傍轴光学系统的解析传输变换式由传输变换式计算分析了空心锥状双高斯光束在自由空问的可控传输特性,及在1,10和60 m的截面光环的光强分布.用KNbO3双轴晶体进行实验,获得了空心锥状双高斯光束,外锥折射的锥角等于入射光会聚角.实验表明,当空心光束处于锥状发射状态时,空心光束的光环内黑斑面积随传输距离的增加而增加,实验结果与模型吻合较好.该研究为进一步设计制备基于空心锥状舣高斯光束的新型激光元件提供了理论依据和设计参量.  相似文献

 从广义惠更斯-菲涅耳衍射积分出发对厄米-余弦-高斯光束的传输特性作了研究,给出了厄米-余弦-高斯光束通过近轴ABCD光学系统的解析传输公式,以厄米-余弦-高斯光束通过自由空间和薄透镜系统为例做了数值计算和分析,结果表明厄米-余弦-高斯光束在自由空间传输时不能保持其形状不变。厄米-双曲余弦-高斯光束、余弦-高斯光束、厄米-高斯光束的传输公式可作为厄米-余弦-高斯光束的特例得出。  相似文献

We study the scintillation aspects of partially coherent Lorentz Gaussian (LG) beams via numerically integrating the average and average squared intensity expressions. Within the examined range of input and propagation medium parameters, the LG beams are generally found to offer less and less scintillations against the pure Gaussian beam, particularly when the Lorentzian feature of the beam is emphasized more. This lower scintillation property is exhibited for collimated coherent beams with different Lorentz widths and at on-axis and off-axis positions of the receiver plane. When focusing is introduced, at shorter propagation distances the ordering of the beams remains as described above, but at longer propagations distances a complete reversing of the beam order is observed. Raising the turbulence levels by increasing the structure constant inevitably causes rises in scintillations, while preserving the advantage of LG beams over the pure Gaussian beam. Partial coherence reduces scintillations as expected, at the same time nearly eliminating the scintillation differences between the beam types.  相似文献

Propagation of circular and elliptical anomalous hollow beams in a turbulent atmosphere is investigated in detail. Based on the extended Huygens–Fresnel integral, analytical formulae for the average irradiance of circular and elliptical anomalous hollow beams propagating in a turbulent atmosphere are derived. The irradiance and spreading properties of circular and elliptical anomalous hollow beams in a turbulent atmosphere and in free space are studied numerically. It is found that circular and elliptical anomalous hollow beams at short propagation distance in turbulent atmosphere have similar propagation properties to those of free space, while at long propagation distance, circular and elliptical anomalous hollow beams eventually become circular Gaussian beams in a turbulent atmosphere, which is much different from their propagation properties in free space. The conversion from an anomalous hollow beam to a circular Gaussian beam becomes quicker and the beam spot spreads more rapidly for a larger structure constant, a shorter wavelength and a smaller waist size of the initial beam.  相似文献

研究了一维(1D)线阵离轴高斯光束通过湍流大气的传输特性,推导出了其光强传输方程. 研究表明,1D线阵离轴高斯光束通过湍流大气传输经历了三个阶段,即在近场其光强分布为类似于入射光的锯齿状分布,随着传输距离的增加逐渐变为平顶分布,最后在远场成为类高斯分布. 湍流的增强会使光束传输经历三阶段的进程加快. 并且,湍流使得不同子光束数的1D线阵离轴高斯光束的归一化光强分布相接近. 此外,子光束数越多的1D线阵离轴高斯光束受到湍流的影响越小;1D线阵离轴高斯光束较高斯光束受到湍流的影响要小. 关键词: 一维(1D)线阵离轴高斯光束 湍流大气 传输特性  相似文献

根据光束传播的独立性和叠加性原理,引入了一组能够产生第一类(2n+2阶)奇型Mathieu-Gaussian光束的虚光源点.利用虚源点技术和格林函数法,计算得到第一类奇型Mathieu-Gaussian光束的严格解析积分表达式.利用该表达式得到了轴上光场分布的积分解析解.以三阶非旁轴修正为例,得到了第一类奇型Mathieu-Gaussian光束保留到三阶非旁轴修正项的轴上光场分布精确解.  相似文献
