A recently developed thin-layer electrophoretic method has been applied to the determination of biomass degradation products comprising mono-, oligo- and polysaccharides and their derivatives as well as phenolic compounds. The separation was carried out using 0.3 M aqueous borate solution as the buffer and silanized silica gel as the support, the surface of the latter being covered with a thin film of octanol-1. For visualization of the carbohydrates, specific sulphuric acid-containing naphthoresorcinol and orcinol reagents were applied. The mobility of hydrolyzed products is determined by the number and position of their reactive sites and, to a less extent, by the size of their molecule. The good separations obtained confirm this method as an alternative to the commonly utilized chromatographic procedures. 相似文献

A simple and sensitive high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method with UV detection was developed for the determination of new diethanolamine derivative complexing agents. The quantitation of three complexing agents was accomplished as their Cu(II) complexes and their separation on a reversed phase C18 column using 0.01 M tetrabutyl ammoniumhydroxide and methanol as isocratic mobile phase. The limit of detection (LOD) ranges from 0.1 to 2.0 mg/l and the method has a wide linear range, from LOD to 150 mg/l. The method was successfully applied for the analysis of lake water and wastewater effluent from pulp and paper mill spiked with studied complexing agents. 相似文献

A method for separation of cytokinins from auxin and abscisic acid, which allows further separation of cytokinin ribotides from cytokinin bases, ribosides and glucosides and their purification on a single Oasis MCX column was developed. Due to the mixed reversed-phase and cation-exchange mode of the Oasis MCX sorbent the cationic cytokinin bases, ribosides and glucosides as well as the anionic auxin, abscisic acid and cytokinin ribotides are retained and can be sequentially eluted by solvents containing different concentrations of methanol and ammonium hydroxide. Characteristics of the method are high recoveries of analyzed phytohormones and their sufficient purity for quantification by HPLC–ELISA (RIA) or HPLC–MS. 相似文献

Summary A simple HPLC method for quali- and quantitative determination of teicoplanin and A40926 in fermentation broths and in biological
fluids is described. The sample is purified on affinity chromatography and then analyzed on a reverse phase column using a
gradient phosphate buffer-acetonitrile as mobile phase and UV detection at 254 nm. No interference from endogenous sources
has been observed. The analytical method, with partial modifications, was also used to isolate on semipreparative scale the

The analytical reactions of bismuth iodide and stannic chloride with cesium and rubidium are used for the radiochemical separation
of these two elements. The method consists in precipitating potassium, rubidium and cesium as their cobaltinitrites, selective
isolation of cesium as cesium bismuth iodide from glacial acetic acid, and subsequent separation of rubidium from potassium
as chlorostannate from conc. HCl. The results obtained by the present method for the rubidium and cesium contents of the different
U.S.G.S. standard rock samples are compared with those reported using methods of comparable accuracy. The suitability of the
method for the analysis of fall-out samples for their radiocesium (137Cs) contents has been demonstrated. 相似文献
