巴拿赫空间中线性离散时间系统的多项式二分性

本文给出了巴拿赫空间中线性差分方程的两个多项式二分性概念, 使其在相应空间中的范数的增长速度不快于指数型增长. 并用实例阐释了相关概念之间的关系. 借助于指数二分性的研究方法讨论了多项式二分性的特征, 所得结论推广了指数稳定性及指数二分性中的一些已有结果.     

插值三角多项式在Orlicz空间逼近的渐进等式

对于具有等距分布插值结点的三角多项式,借助广义的Minkowski不等式在Orlicz空间内建立了由三角多项式逼近的渐近等式.并对于Orlicz空间内不同的函数类给出不同的结果.     

基于网络聚类的空间分层方法

提出了一种利用空间信息的分层抽样方法.首先,利用多项式回归模型估计各坐标之间的空间相关系数,然后对空间相关系数矩阵进行谱聚类分析,最终依据上述结果对总体进行分层.通过与其他抽样方法的比较证明提出的基于网络聚类的空间分层方法具有比较优良的分层效果.     

矩阵及其多项式的若干问题研究

利用多项式理论、线性空间理论研究了矩阵及其多项式的一些性质.     

一类调和多项式与Poisson核乘积的积分及增长性

本文研究了半空间上的一类调和多项式与Poisson核的乘积的积分及其增长性问题.通过利用已知的收敛条件重新定义测度的方法和相应的增长估计,获得了一类调和多项式与Poisson核乘积的积分的增长性质,推广了关于Poisson积分的结果.     

K理论在实现问题中的应用

我们研究Steenrod代数上的多项式代数能否实现为拓扑空间的上同调环的问题。根据Adams和Hubbuck的思想,我们应用K-理论及Adams运算来研究上述问题,并得到本文的主要结果——定理2.4.它推广了Hubbuck和Wilkerson的结果。     

关于Lucas多项式平方和的恒等式

利用广义Lucas多项式L n(x,y)的性质,通过构造组合和式T n(x,y;tx2),结合Bernoulli多项式的生成函数和Euler多项式的生成函数,采用分析学中的方法,得到两个有关L2n(x,y)的恒等式.并从这一结果出发,得到了两个推论,推广了相关文献的一些结果.     

Banach空间上有界可逆线性变换逆变换的结构

Fillmore在[1]中得到一个定理:设A,T是Banach空间X上的线性变换,A有界,若Lat(A) Lat(T)且AT=TA,则T是A的多项式.在本文里,以此作为引理,讨论了Banach空间上可逆线性变换A在什么情况下,A-1可表示为A的多项式.本文最主要的结论是定理3.4:设X是Banach空间,A是X上的有界线性变换,且可逆,则A-1是A的多项式当且仅当A-1是A的局部多项式.     

一类广义插值在LM^Ba空间中的逼近

先引入了由一列Orlicz空间生成的Ba空间(LMBa)的定义,然后用分数阶α的连续模给出一类广义插值在LBMa空间中逼近阶.     

Orlicz空间中三角多项式倒数对周期可微函数的逼近定理

利用Orlicz空间内有关不等式技巧在Orlicz空间内研究了用三角多项式的倒数逼近周期可微函数的问题.得到了一个逼近定理及其推论.     

On prime representing polynomials

A heuristic method is presented to determine the number of primesp ≤x, represented by an irreducible polynomialf(n), without non-trivial fixed factor (f(y)<∈Z[y]; n∈Z. The method is applied to two specific polynomials and the results are compared with those of the heuristic approach of Hardy and Littlewood.     

On the Polynomials of A. O. Gelfond Having Minimal Deviation from Zero together with Their Derivatives

Some results of A.O. Gelfond concerning monic polynomials of least deviation (uniform) from zero together with their derivatives are extended to certain L_p - norms and to several variables. As an application we extend a recent result of Xiaoming Huang to functions f∈C(n)n)([?1, 1]) which satisfy f⁽ⁿ⁾(x)≥1.     

Extensions of homogeneous polynomials on c 0(l 2 i )

We show that a 2-homogeneous polynomial on the complex Banach space c ₀ l ₂ ⁱ ) is norm attaining if and only if it is finite (i.e, depends only on finite coordinates). As the consequence, we show that there exists a unique norm-preserving extension for norm-attaining 2-homogeneous polynomials on c ₀(l ₂ ⁱ ). Formal orthogonal polynomials revisited. Applications

From some results concerning the formal orthogonal polynomials, already proved in [5], we develop new properties of generalized adjacent polynomials which correspond to a change in the weight function. A new structure of the singular blocks is given. These results have a direct application to Lanczos methods, theG and -algorithms.     

Polynomial Interpolation of the Discrete Logarithm

Recently, Coppersmith and Shparlinski proved several results on the interpolation of the discrete logarithm in the finite prime field by polynomials modulo p and modulo p-1, respectively. In this paper most of these results are extended to arbitrary .     

Computing Derivatives of Jacobi Polynomials Using Bernstein Transformation and Differentiation Matrix

In this paper, we give a new, simple, and efficient method for evaluating the pth derivative of the Jacobi polynomial of degree n. The Jacobi polynomial is written in terms of the Bernstein basis, and then the pth derivative is obtained. The results are given in terms of both Bernstein basis of degree n ? p and Jacobi basis form of degree n ? p and presented in a matrix form. Numerical examples and comparisons with other well-known methods are presented.     

Asymptotics and weighted estimates of meixner polynomials orthogonal on the gird {0, δ, 2δ, ...}

Hankel determinants of some polynomials arising in combinatorial analysis

In this paper we investigate Hankel determinants of the form , where c _n (t) is one of a number of polynomials of combinatorial interest. We show how some results due to Radoux may be generalized, and also show how “stepped up” Hankel determinants of the form may be evaluated. This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.     

Permutation polynomials of the form

Recently, several classes of permutation polynomials of the form (x²+x+δ)^s+x over have been discovered. They are related to Kloosterman sums. In this paper, the permutation behavior of polynomials of the form (x^p−x+δ)^s+L(x) over is investigated, where L(x) is a linearized polynomial with coefficients in . Six classes of permutation polynomials on are derived. Three classes of permutation polynomials over are also presented.     

Asymptotic analysis of the Krawtchouk polynomials by the WKB method

We analyze the Krawtchouk polynomials K _n (x,N,p,q) asymptotically. We use singular perturbation methods to analyze them for N→∞, with appropriate scalings of the two variables x and n. In particular, the WKB method and asymptotic matching are used. We obtain asymptotic approximations valid in the whole domain [0,N]×[0,N], involving some special functions. We give numerical examples showing the accuracy of our formulas.
