This paper classifies the simple modules of the cyclotomic Hecke algebras of type G(r,1,n) and the affine Hecke algebras of type A in arbitrary characteristic. We do this by first showing that the simple modules of the cyclotomic Hecke algebras are indexed by the set of “Kleshchev multipartitions”. In this paper, the cellularity of twisted semigroup algebras over an integral domain is investigated by introducing the concept of cellular twisted semigroup algebras of type JH. Partition algebras, Brauer algebras and Temperley-Lieb algebras all are examples of cellular twisted semigroup algebras of type JH. Our main result shows that the twisted semigroup algebra of a regular semigroup is cellular of type JH with respect to an involution on the twisted semigroup algebra if and only if the twisted group algebras of certain maximal subgroups are cellular algebras. Here we do not assume that the involution of the twisted semigroup algebra induces an involution of the semigroup itself. Moreover, for a twisted semigroup algebra, we do not require that the twisting decomposes essentially into a constant part and an invertible part, or takes values in the group of units in the ground ring. Note that trivially twisted semigroup algebras are the usual semigroup algebras. So, our results extend not only a recent result of East, but also some results of Wilcox.  相似文献

We prove that every Ariki–Koike algebra is Morita equivalent to a direct sum of tensor products of smaller Ariki–Koike algebras which have q–connected parameter sets. A similar result is proved for the cyclotomic q–Schur algebras. Combining our results with work of Ariki and Uglov, the decomposition numbers for the Ariki–Koike algebras defined over fields of characteristic zero are now known in principle. From the viewpoint of higher dimensional Auslander–Reiten theory, we introduce a new class of finite dimensional algebras of global dimension n, which we call n-representation infinite. They are a certain analog of representation infinite hereditary algebras, and we study three important classes of modules: n-preprojective, n-preinjective and n  -regular modules. We observe that their homological behaviour is quite interesting. For instance they provide first examples of algebras having infinite Ext1Ext1-orthogonal families of modules. Moreover we give general constructions of n-representation infinite algebras.  相似文献

We show how the treatment of cellularity in families of algebras arising from diagram calculi, such as Jones’ Temperley-Lieb wreaths, variants on Brauer’s centralizer algebras, and the contour algebras of Cox et al. (of which many algebras are special cases), may be unified using the theory of tabular algebras. This improves an earlier result of the first author (whose hypotheses covered only the Brauer algebra from among these families).  相似文献

The well-known list of Happel-Vossieck of tame concealed algebras in terms of quivers with relations, and the list of A. Seven of minimal infinite cluster quivers are compared. There is a 1-1 correspondence between the items in these lists, and we explain how an item in one list naturally corresponds to an item in the other list. A central tool for understanding this correspondence is the theory of cluster-tilted algebras.  相似文献

The category of modules over a string algebra is equipped with a tensor product defined point-wise and arrow-wise in terms of the underlying quiver. In the present article we investigate how this tensor product interacts with the classification of indecomposables. We apply the results obtained to solve the Clebsch-Gordan problem for string algebras. Moreover, we describe the corresponding representation ring and tensor ideals in the module category.  相似文献

Suppose k is a field. Let A and B be two finite dimensional k-algebras such that there is a stable equivalence of Morita type between A and B. In this paper, we prove that (1) if A and B are representation-finite then their Auslander algebras are stably equivalent of Morita type; (2) The n-th Hochschild homology groups of A and B are isomorphic for all n≥1. A new proof is also provided for Hochschild cohomology groups of self-injective algebras under a stable equivalence of Morita type.  相似文献

In this paper, we first introduce a notion of semisimple system with parameters, then we establish Lusztig's isomorphism theorem for any cellular semisimple system with parameters. As an application, we obtain Lusztig's isomorphism theorem for Ariki-Koike algebras, cyclotomic q-Schur algebras and Birman-Murakami-Wenzl algebras. Second, using the results for certain Ariki-Koike algebras, we prove an analogue of Lusztig's isomorphism theorem for the cyclotomic Hecke algebras of type G(p,p,n) (which are not known to be cellular in general). These generalize earlier results of [G. Lusztig, On a theorem of Benson and Curtis, J. Algebra 71 (1981) 490-498.] on such isomorphisms for Iwahori-Hecke algebras associated to finite Weyl groups.  相似文献

An integro-differential algebra of arbitrary characteristic is given the structure of a uniform topological space, such that the ring operations as well as the derivation (= differentiation operator) and Rota–Baxter operator (= integral operator) are uniformly continuous. Using topological techniques and the central notion of divided powers, this allows one to introduce a composition for (topologically) complete integro-differential algebras; this generalizes the series case, viz. meaning formal power series in characteristic zero and Hurwitz series in positive characteristic. The canonical Hausdorff completion for pseudometric spaces is shown to produce complete integro-differential algebras.The setting of complete integro-differential algebras allows us to describe exponential and logarithmic elements in a way that reflects the “integro-differential properties” known from analysis. Finally, we prove also that any complete integro-differential algebra is saturated, in the sense that every (monic) linear differential equation possesses a regular fundamental system of solutions.While the paper focuses on the commutative case, many results are given for the general case of (possibly noncommutative) rings, whenever this does not require substantial modifications.  相似文献

This paper introduces an analogue of the Solomon descent algebra for the complex reflection groups of type G(r,1,n). As with the Solomon descent algebra, our algebra has a basis given by sums of ‘distinguished’ coset representatives for certain ‘reflection subgroups.’ We explicitly describe the structure constants with respect to this basis and show that they are polynomials in r. This allows us to define a deformation, or q-analogue, of these algebras which depends on a parameter q. We determine the irreducible representations of all of these algebras and give a basis for their radicals. Finally, we show that the direct sum of cyclotomic Solomon algebras is canonically isomorphic to a concatenation Hopf algebra.  相似文献

We prove that the cell modules of the affine Temperley-Lieb algebra have the same composition factors, when regarded as modules for the affine Hecke algebra of type A, as certain standard modules which are defined homologically. En route, we relate these to the cell modules of the Temperley-Lieb algebra of type B, which provides a connection between Temperley-Lieb algebras on n and n−1 strings. Applications include the explicit determination of some decomposition numbers of standard modules at roots of unity, which in turn has implications for certain Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials associated with nilpotent orbit closures. The methods involve the study of the relationships among several algebras defined by concatenation of braid-like diagrams and between these and Hecke algebras. Connections are made with earlier work of Bernstein-Zelevinsky on the “generic case” and of Jones on link invariants.  相似文献

A famous result by Drozd says that a finite-dimensional representation-infinite algebra is of either tame or wild representation type. But one has to make assumption on the ground field. The Gabriel-Roiter measure might be an alternative approach to extend these concepts of tame and wild to arbitrary Artin algebras. In particular, the infiniteness of the number of GR segments, i.e. sequences of Gabriel-Roiter measures which are closed under direct predecessors and successors, might relate to the wildness of Artin algebras. As the first step, we are going to study the wild quiver with three vertices, labeled by 1, 2 and 3, and one arrow from 1 to 2 and two arrows from 2 to 3. The Gabriel-Roiter submodules of the indecomposable preprojective modules and quasi-simple modules τiM, i≥0 are described, where M is a Kronecker module and τ=DTr is the Auslander-Reiten translation. Based on these calculations, the existence of infinitely many GR segments will be shown. Moreover, it will be proved that there are infinitely many Gabriel-Roiter measures admitting no direct predecessors.  相似文献
