The peak effect (PE) in the critical current density of type II superconductors has been related to an order-disorder transition in the vortex lattice (VL), but its underlying physics remains a controversial issue. Intrinsic to the PE are strong metastabilities that frequently mask the stationary VL configurations. We follow shaking and thermal protocols in NbSe2 single crystals to access these configurations and examine them by linear ac susceptibility measurements that avoid VL reorganization. Tunneling and theoretical studies have suggested that Andreev bound states form at certain surfaces of unconventional superconductors. Through studies of the temperature and field dependence of the in-plane magnetic penetration depth lambda(ab) at low temperature, we have found strong evidence for the presence of these states in clean single crystal YBCO and BSCCO. Crystals cut to expose (110) surfaces show a strong upturn in lambda(ab) at around 7 K, when the field is oriented along the c axis. In YBCO this upturn is completely suppressed by a field of approximately 0.1 T.  相似文献

YBCO薄膜材料作为电阻型高温超导限流器的限流元件具有单位通流长度耐压高,失超后不易损毁等优点.本文设计一套实验设备,在不同幅值交流电源条件下,对YBCO薄膜过电流失超特性进行了测量.实验得到了在不同过电流作用下YBCO薄膜的阻抗及电压随时间的变化关系.大量实验数据表明,YBCO对短路电流有很好的限流效果.并且动作迅速,失超后有效限流电阻大.结合实验数据,文中将YBCO薄膜的过电流失超过程分为三个不同阶段.对应于不同幅值的交流电源,分析了不同阶段YBCO的电阻发展过程.本文得到的结论对YBCO薄膜限流元件的建模及失超传播分析有着重要的参考意义.  相似文献

应用二维约瑟夫逊弱连接网络模型 ,讨论了磁场引起的二维超导体系中磁通“涡旋反涡旋”束缚对的激发问题 ,给出了自由涡旋分布 n( T,H )的分析表达式 ,对比 YBCO颗粒膜样品的非平衡微波响应测量数据发现 :两者具有相似的分布特征。该结果表明 ,高温超导颗粒膜的非平衡微波响应机制与磁通“涡旋反涡旋”束缚对的激发态可能存在某种内在联系。  相似文献

A superheating YBa2Cu3O7-δ (YBCO or Y123) thin film was applied as a seed layer to grow Pb[(Zn1/3Nb2/3)0.91Ti0.09]O3 (PZNT) films by a liquid phase epitaxy (LPE) process. In the present work, the YBCO thin film underwent a growth temperature of 1050 °C, which was about 40 °C higher than its peritectic temperature. It is very interesting that the superheated YBCO seed film could be used to grow not only Nd1+xBa2-xCu3O7-δ (NBCO) films with similar compositions but also PZNT films with completely different compositions. The XRD analysis confirmed that the PZNT film grown on the YBCO seeded MgO substrate had a good epitaxial relationship of [100](001)PZNT//[100](001)YBCO//[100] (001)MgO. Compared with the PZNT films directly grown on MgO substrates, the LPE PZNT film on YBCO/MgO presented a better surface morphology. It was found that the superheating YBCO seed film plays a crucial role for the LPE growth of PZNT in the process. We have studied the variation of transverse magnetoresistance of underdoped YBCO(6.6) crystals, either pure or with reduced T(c) down to 3.5 K by electron irradiation, in fields up to 60 T. We find evidence that the superconducting fluctuation contribution to the conductivity is suppressed only above a threshold field H(c)'(T), which is found to vanish at T(c)' > T(c). In the pure YBCO(6.6) sample, H(c)' is already 50 T at T(c). We find that increasing disorder weakly depresses H(c)'(0), T(c)', and T(nu), the onset of the Nernst signal. Thus, these energy scales appear more characteristic of the 2D local pairing than the pseudogap temperature which is not modified by disorder.  相似文献

提出了一种测定YBCO(YBa2Cu3O7-x)高温超导薄膜湿法腐蚀启动时长的红外热像新方法。该方法的实质是利用YBCO腐蚀时必然有化学热吸收或释放,从而引起YBCO表面液膜温度变化这一特点,通过红外热像实时监测系统,采集液膜温度变化过程的红外热像,从而判断反应启动时长。理论分析和实验结果均表明,YBCO表面2 mm宽线性液膜是较为理想的监测对象,因其同时具备温度变化信息和空间分布信息,可以将线性液膜中心作为理想的观测特征点;由滑动腐蚀液滴形成残留线性液膜具有温度变化灵敏度高的特点,YBCO(衬底为LaAlO3)竖直放置,可以表面避免液膜重力对启动时长的影响,获得更为准确的监测数据。由线性液膜的横向剖面灰度变化得到在本实验条件下YBCO薄膜与体积比H3PO4∶H2O=1∶300腐蚀液的反应启动时长介于0.3~0.4 s之间。  相似文献

MgO衬底上的YBa2Cu3O7-δ(YBCO)台阶边沿型约瑟夫森结(台阶结)在高灵敏度高温超导量子干涉器(superconducting quantum interference device,SQUID)等超导器件研制方面具有重要的应用价值和前景.本文对此类YBCO台阶结的制备和特性进行了研究.首先利用离子束刻蚀技术和两步刻蚀法在MgO(100)衬底上制备陡度合适、边沿整齐的台阶,然后利用脉冲激光沉积法在衬底上生长YBCO超导薄膜,进而利用紫外光刻制备出YBCO台阶结.在结样品的电阻-温度转变曲线中,观测到低于超导转变温度时的电阻拖尾现象,与约瑟夫森结的热激活相位滑移理论一致.伏安特性曲线测量表明结的行为符合电阻分路结模型,在超导转变温度TC附近结的约瑟夫森临界电流密度TC随温度T呈现出(TC-T)^2的变化规律,77 K时JC值为1.4×10^5 A/cm^2.利用制备的台阶结,初步制备了YBCO射频高温超导SQUID,器件测试观察到良好的三角波电压调制曲线,温度77 K、频率1 kHz时的磁通噪声为250μΦ0/Hz^1/2.本文结果为进一步利用MgO衬底YBCO台阶结研制高性能的高温超导SQUID等超导器件奠定了基础.  相似文献

YBa2Cu3O7-x(YBCO)膜存在“厚度效应”: 随着厚度增加, YBCO薄膜的临界电流密度下降, 尤其是YBCO薄膜的厚度超过1 μm时, 它的临界电流密度急剧下降. 本文在YBCO薄膜之间引入极薄的二氧化铈(CeO2)薄膜, 成功制备出结构为YBCO/YBCO/CeO2/YBCO的超导厚膜. 所制备的厚度为2 μm的YBCO膜临界电流密度为1.36 MA/cm2 (77 K, 自场), 其性能比相同厚度的纯YBCO膜有了较大幅度的提升. 研究表明CeO2薄膜起到了传递织构、松弛应力的作用.  相似文献

A study of the physical and chemical changes during processing in MOD-derived YBCO films was performed. Fully processed films were 70–85% of theoretical density. The sintering rate increased substantially in the compositional range F/Ba = 1.8–1.5. The activation energy for sintering decreased above a P(H2O) dependent threshold temperature. XRD indicated this temperature/composition threshold also corresponded to YBCO nucleation, suggesting ex situ YBCO forms in contact with a melt. The ramp rate and P(H2O) were used to control F/Ba trajectories, which were correlated to performance. The nucleation of YBCO was strongly dependent on processing conditions. Nucleation temperature was varied by at least 60 °C in the study. The optimal YBCO nucleation temperature in the 300–800 nm films was around 725 °C. a-axis grains dominated the microstructures of films where YBCO nucleated at <700 °C. Large second phases, but no a-axis grains, were found when the nucleation temperature was >750 °C.  相似文献

We have measured the far-infrared (FIR) transmittance of low conductivity, imperfect YBCO films deposited on Si, at both 300 K and 20 K. Test reflectance measurements were also performed at room temperature. Our aim was both to study YBCO phonons by transmission measurements and to check if FIR spectra of imperfect YBCO films can be described in the framework of the BCS theory. In order to describe our measurements, we provide exact expressions for both transmittance and reflectance, averaged with respect to the interference fringes of the substrate. By modelling the complex dielectric constant of the film, we then study the YBCO phonons which are evident in the measured spectra. The comparison between spectra of normal and superconducting phases shows that the superconducting transition affects our spectra only at very low frequencies. By considering a two fluid model in which only a small fraction of electrons becomes superconducting and by assuming an energy gap of the order of 130 cm−1, we find that our data can be explained in terms of the Mattis-Bardeen theory.  相似文献

We investigate the temperature dependent of magnetizations, hysteresis properties and present the superconducting phase diagrams of the YBa2Cu3O7–δ (YBCO) by an Ising model within the effective-field theory. We obtain the magnetizations of the YBCO and its components (Cu1, Cu2, O1, O2, O3, O4, Ba, Y, CuO-shell, YBa-core, and total YBCO) versus the reduced temperature and external magnetic field. We find that the copper atoms have two different magnetizations (Cu1 and Cu2) and oxygen atoms have four different magnetizations (O1, O2, O3, O4) but yttrium and barium has one magnetization. The differences in the magnetizations of the copper and oxygen atoms result from the lattice location of them on the YBCO lattice. The magnetization of the Cu1 atoms is the lowest and the yttrium is highest than those of the others; hence magnetizations of the YBCO increase from the corner to inner of the orthorhombic YBCO lattice. We also find that the YBa-core, yttrium and barium atoms of the YBCO exhibit superconductivity behaviors. Therefore, Y–Ba core, yttrium and barium atoms have the superconducting phase diagram and it has Meissner, vortex, and normal states. It is also found that the upper critical coercive field (Hc2) and the critical vortex temperature (Tv) of the Ba are high than those of the Y and YBa-core.  相似文献

Based on previous calculations of the isotope effect (IE) in superconductors, we present a detailed study of the influence of non-adiabaticity and magnetic impurities on the value of the isotope coefficient (IC). We focus on the combined effect of these factors and examine how their relative weight affects the IC. The isotope effect of the superconducting critical temperature T c, and of the penetration depth δ are discussed. It is shown that both non-adiabaticity and magnetic impurities have to be taken into account to describe the oxygen isotope effect of Pr-doped and oxygen-depleted YBa2Cu3O7-δ (YBCO). The calculations suggest that the effect of magnetic impurities is stronger for Pr-doped than for O-depleted YBCO. We also present new results for the IC of δ in O-depleted YBCO.  相似文献

We have found two different regimes in the kinetics of the YBCO formation depending on the water partial pressure at a constant temperature and total flow rate of the carrier gas. The first regime at low partial water pressure shows continual kinetics curves until the end of YBCO growth and the reaction is controlled chemically. The second regime at high partial water pressure shows irreproducible steps in the kinetics curves during the thin films YBCO growth. In this work we suggest that there is formation of a boundary layer of water (Nernst layer) when the partial water pressure is higher than 20 hPa at 795 °C for a total gas flow rate lower than 2.4 × 10−2 m s−1. These irreproducible steps dues probably to a water boundary layer formation can be eliminated by increasing the stirring rate of the carrier gas. The reaction order of YBa2Cu3O7−x formation respect to the water pressure is n = 0.5 when the water boundary layer is not formed, but the apparent reaction order respect to the partial water pressure is zero or negative when the gas flow rate of the carrier gas is not big enough for the elimination of this water layer. This work also evidences that there is an intermediate step in the kinetics curves before the formation of YBCO. This step, which starts at low temperature during the heating ramp (400 °C) is attributed to the partial elimination of F from the BaF2 precursor to form oxyfluoride compounds. So, at low total flow gas rates and low partial water pressures, the reaction is controlled by diffusion mechanism due to the formation of a HF boundary layer (Nernst layer), because the apparent order of YBCO formation is one respect to the stirring rate. Nevertheless, at high flow gas rates and low partial water pressures, the YBCO formation is controlled chemically, then the apparent order respect to the stirring rate is zero and the HF Nernst layer is eliminated. The apparent Ea for the oxyfluoride formation at low temperatures is only 18 Kj/mol indicating that this intermediate reaction is controlled by diffusion mechanism even at high stirring rate and relatively low partial water pressure. The apparent Ea for the YBCO formation at partial water pressures higher than 20 hPa for a total flow rate of 2.4 × 10−2 m s−1 is only 32 Kj/mol, indicating that the reaction control is mainly diffusive or mixed (diffusive and chemist).  相似文献

High energy heavy ion lithography was used for modulating through implanted nanostructures the local structural and electrical properties of high temperature superconducting YBa2Cu3O7 films. The controlled reduction of the critical temperature of irradiated films results in a localization into heavy ion patterned micro-regions of the electrical dissipation, viable in a given temperature range and driven by ion fluence, bias current and applied magnetic field. The measurement of the response of such nanostructured YBCO films to electromagnetic radiation in the infrared band (MIR–FIR region) is presented. It turns out that the ion induced structural modification of both superconducting film and substrate is actually enabling the infrared optical absorption of YBCO, so that the viability of low noise THz detection above the liquid nitrogen temperature is shown.  相似文献

近几年,高温超导线材的制造技术已日趋成熟。作为第二代高温超导带材的代表,YBCO在低温下具有的优点使其在超导磁体领域的应用越来越突出。但是在高温超导磁体的运行中会因为受到扰动而失超。为了探讨这个问题,模拟了一个磁体在低温下(20K左右)有加热点扰动时的稳定性情况,即对YBCO线圈在低温下的工作情况进行了模拟仿真。文中根据实验设计的YBCO单饼线圈参数,利用热传导方程和基本电路方程,采用有限元计算方法,模拟出线圈内部的温度分布。分析仿真结果可以为后续实验设计提供参考。  相似文献

低能氩离子束轰击并后退火处理的离子束表面改性,会影响高温超导薄膜的表面结构和超导特性,但是其中的深刻微观机理不清楚.本文通过连续改变离子束轰击时间,系统研究了离子束表面改性对于超导膜结构和临界电流密度的影响.通过扫描电子显微镜、X射线衍射、J_(c-scanning)测试表征样品的结构特性和超导特性,并得出内应变、氧空位缺陷等参量.研究表明,经过表面改性的钇钡铜氧(YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-δ),YBCO)薄膜,随轰击时间增加表面形貌会变得更加均匀致密,a轴晶粒消失,并且临界电流密度有了显著的提高.由化学键收缩配对模型分析得出,临界电流密度的提高与薄膜内应变增大和引发的局部YBCO结构中Cu—O键收缩有关.  相似文献

The effect of magnesium oxide (MgO) surface conditions on in-plane grain orientation and critical current density of epitaxial YBa2Cu3O7 (YBCO) films was systematically investigated. The MgO substrates were either “as received” or stored for some time, cleaned using different methods and lithographically prepared for our step-edge junction devices. The YBCO films were grown via reactive thermal co-evaporation by Theva, GmbH. The surface characterisation of MgO substrates was studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The in-plane grain orientation of the YBCO films was studied by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD) φ-scan and the critical current density was measured for the XRD scanned samples. The surface condition of the MgO substrates was found to have a strong influence on the in-plane grain orientation and the critical current density of the YBCO films. The MgO substrates with a degraded or contaminated surface gave rise to 45° grain misorientation in YBCO films and reduced the critical current density. A final process step using a low energy Ar ion beam etching (IBE) of the MgO substrates prior to the YBCO film deposition was found effective in removing the in-plane grain misorientation and promoting the growth of perfectly aligned c-axis YBCO films.  相似文献

本文采用三氟乙酸盐-金属有机沉积(TFA-MOD)技术在LaAlO3(00l)单晶基片上、在不同的低温热处理条件下制备出不同形貌的前驱膜.从金相显微镜(OM)和扫描电镜(SEM)观察可以看出,低温预分解时造成前驱膜的形貌不完整性在高温处理后并没有消除.对高温热处理后的YBCO成相膜用X射线衍射进行了物相定性分析,用Jc-Scan Leipzig系统对超导薄膜进行了超导性能分析.结果表明,前驱膜的形貌不完整性造成高温成相阶段样品杂相出现和超导性能降低.经过对低温热处理条件的优化,得到表面形貌完整的前驱膜,避免了高温成相阶段杂相出现,提高了涂层导体的超导性能,Jc可以超过1.5MA/cm2.  相似文献
