A series of (NHC)Pd(R-allyl)Cl complexes [NHC: IPr = N,N'-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene, SIPr = N,N'-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-4,5-dihydroimidazol-2-ylidene; R = H, Me, gem-Me2, Ph] have been synthesized and fully characterized. When compared to (NHC)Pd(allyl)Cl, substitution at the terminal position of the allyl scaffold favors a more facile activation step. This translates into higher catalytic activity in the Suzuki-Miyaura and Buchwald-Hartwig reactions, allowing for the coupling of unactivated aryl chlorides at room temperature in minutes. In the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction, aryl triflates, bromides, and chlorides react with boronic acids using very low catalyst loading. In the N-aryl amination reaction, a wide range of substrates has been coupled efficiently; primary-, secondary-, alkyl-, or aryl-amines react in high yields with unactivated, neutral, and activated aryl chlorides and bromides. In both reactions, extremely hindered substrates such as tri-ortho-substituted biaryls and tetra-ortho-substituted diarylamines can be produced without loss of activity. Finally, the present catalytic system has proven to be efficient with as low as 10 parts-per-million (ppm) of precatalyst in the Buchwald-Hartwig reaction and 50 ppm in the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction.  相似文献

The use of second-generation [(NHC)Pd(R-allyl)Cl] complexes for Suzuki-Miyaura and Buchwald-Hartwig cross-coupling reactions involving heteroaromatic halides at room temperature is reported. The first examples of room temperature Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling of deactivated aryl chlorides with alkenyl boronic acids are also disclosed. Terminal substitution at the allyl moiety of the palladium complex facilitates its activation at room temperature leading to very active catalytic species enabling the present catalytic transformations to be performed rapidly using very mild reaction conditions. Catalyst loadings can be as low as 10 ppm for the Buchwald-Hartwig aryl amination and 50 ppm for the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction.  相似文献

A straightforwardly synthesised complex, [Pd(micro-Cl)Cl(NHC)](2) (NHC = bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene, IPr), has been employed to mediate Suzuki-Miyaura reactions involving aryl chlorides at very low catalyst loadings and at room temperature.  相似文献

The oxidative addition products trans-[Pd(NHC)(2)(Ar)Cl] (NHC = cyclo-C[N(t)BuCH](2); Ar = Me-4-C(6)H(4), MeO-4-C(6)H(4), CO(2)Me-4-C(6)H(4)) have been isolated in good yields from the reactions of ArCl with the amination precatalyst [Pd(NHC)(2)] and structurally characterized. The former undergo reversible dissociation of one NHC ligand at elevated temperatures, and a value of 25.57 kcal mol(-1) has been determined for the Pd-NHC dissociation enthalpy in the case where Ar = Me-4-C(6)H(4). Detailed kinetic studies have established that the oxidative addition reactions proceed by a dissociative mechanism. Rate data for the oxidation addition of Me-4-C(6)H(4)Cl to [Pd(NHC)(2)] compared to that obtained for the [Pd(NHC)(2)]-catalyzed coupling of morpholine with 4-chlorotoluene are consistent with a rate-determining oxidative addition in the catalytic amination reaction. The relative rates of oxidative addition of the three aryl chlorides to [Pd(NHC)(2)] (CO(2)Me-4-C(6)H(4)Cl > Me-4-C(6)H(4)Cl > MeO-4-C(6)H(4)Cl) reflect the electronic nature of the substituents and also parallel observed trends in coupling efficiency for these aryl halides in aminations.  相似文献

A very straightforward one-pot method has been developed for preparation of air-stable CpPd(NHC)Cl complexes 1a-d. This new class of well-defined NHC-Pd complexes exhibits high catalytic activity in Kumada-Tamao-Corriu cross-coupling reaction involving various aryl and heteroaryl chlorides. Notably, the less sterically encumbered NHC ligand around Pd centre showed higher catalytic activity.  相似文献

[structure: see text]. A Pd(OAc)2/diazabutadiene system has been developed for the catalytic cross-coupling of aryl halides with arylboronic acids. A combination of the diazabutadiene DAB-Cy (1, N,N'-dicyclohexyl-1,4-dizabutadiene) and Pd(OAc)2 was found to form an excellent catalyst for the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling of various aryl bromides and activated aryl chlorides with arylboronic acids.  相似文献

The bigger the better: The new well-defined [Pd(IPr*)(cin)Cl] pre-catalyst is described. This complex proves to be highly active in the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling for the synthesis of tetra-ortho-substituted biaryls under mild conditions. IPr* is reported as the largest N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) to date for [Pd(NHC)(cin)Cl] complexes, explaining the high reactivity observed for this complex in this challenging transformation.  相似文献

The influence of aryl substituents in dibenzylidene acetone (dba) ligands, for Pd(0) complexes, has been evaluated for Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions. Electron-withdrawing substituents such as NO(2) or CF(3) deactivate the catalyst species whereas strongly donating substituents such as OMe increase catalytic activity over that of unsubstituted dba ligands. [reaction: see text] A stable and efficient Pd(OAc)2/DABCO (triethylenediamine) catalytic system for Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction has been developed. In the presence of Pd(OAc)2 and DABCO, coupling of aryl halides with arylboronic acids was carried out smoothly to afford good to excellent yields and high turnover numbers (TONs) (the maximal TONs were up to 960,000 for the reaction of 1-iodo-4-nitrobenzene with phenylboronic acid) using PEG-400 as the solvent. Moreover, the Pd(OAc)2/DABCO/PEG-400 system could be recycled and reused five times without any loss of catalytic activity for aryl iodides and bromides.  相似文献

An inexpensive and highly efficient Pd(OAc)(2)/Dabco catalytic system has been developed for the cross-coupling of aryl halides with arylboronic acids. A combination of Pd(OAc)(2) and Dabco (triethylenediamine) was observed to form an excellent catalyst, which affords high TONs (turnover numbers; TONs up to 950 000 for the reaction of PhI and p-chlorophenylboronic acid) for Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling of various aryl iodides and bromides with arylboronic acids. The catalytic activity of benzothiazole-based Pd(II)-complexes was evaluated in Suzuki-Miyaura and Heck-Mizoroki C-C cross-coupling reactions of aryl chlorides and bromides with olefins and arylboronic acids both under thermal as well as microwave irradiation conditions in water. The factors affecting the optimization of such reactions as well as the reusability of the Pd-precatalysts are studied.  相似文献

A variety of triazole-based monophosphines (ClickPhos) have been prepared via efficient 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of readily available azides and acetylenes. Their palladium complexes provided excellent yields in the amination reactions and Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions of unactivated aryl chlorides. Ligand 7i, which has a 2,6-dimethoxybenzene moiety, provided good results in Suzuki-Miyaura reaction to form hindered biaryls. A CAChe model for the Pd/7i complex shows that the likelihood of a Pd-arene interaction might be a rationale for its high catalytic reactivity.  相似文献

A highly efficient cross-coupling of diarylborinic acids and anhydrides with aryl chlorides and bromides has been effected by using a palladium catalyst system co-supported by a strong σ-donor N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC), N,N'-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl) imidazol-2-ylidene, and a strong π-acceptor phosphite, triphenylphosphite, in tert-BuOH in the present of K(3)PO(4)·3H(2)O. Unsymmetrical biaryls with a variety of functional groups could be obtained in good to excellent yields using as low as 0.01, 0.2-0.5, and 1 mol % palladium loadings for aryl bromides and activated and deactivated aryl chlorides, respectively, under mild conditions. A ligand synergy between the σ-donor NHC and the π-acceptor phosphite in the Pd/NHC/P(OPh)(3) catalytic system has been proposed to be responsible for the high efficacy to arylchlorides in the cross-coupling. A scalable and economical process has therefore been developed for synthesis of Sartan biphenyl from the Pd/NHC/P(OPh)(3) catalyzed cross-coupling of di(4-methylphenyl)borinic acid with 2-chlorobenzonitrile.  相似文献

A series of unsymmetrical 1,3-disubstituted benzimidazolium chlorides were synthesized as N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) precursors. These compounds were used to synthesize of the PEPPSI-type palladium NHC complexes. The structures of all compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FT-IR spectroscopy and elemental analyses. The catalytic activity of the PEPPSI-type palladium–NHC complexes has been evaluated with respect to the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions of phenyl boronic acid with various aryl halides in aqueous media.  相似文献

The catalytic activity of a 2-pyridinealdoxime-based Pd(II)-complex covalently anchored via the oxime moiety to a glass/polymer composite material was evaluated in Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions of aryl and heteroaryl halides, including arylchlorides, with aryl and heteroaryl boronic acids both under thermal as well as microwave irradiating conditions in water. The stability and reusability of this Pd-precatalyst is part of the present study.  相似文献

PEG-400 [poly(ethylene glycol-400)] was found to improve the Pd(OAc)2/DABCO-catalyzed aqueous Suzuki-Miyaura and Stille cross-coupling reactions. In the presence of Pd(OAc)2, DABCO, and PEG-400, a variety of aryl halides were coupled with arylboronic acids or organotin compounds efficiently to afford the corresponding cross-coupled products in moderate to excellent yields. The turnover numbers was up to 900,000 for the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction and up to 9800 for the Stille reaction. The catalyst system was also effective for Heck and Sonogashira cross-coupling reactions to some extent.  相似文献

The complex (IPr)Ni(allyl)Cl (IPr = 1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazolidene) catalyzes the cross-coupling reactions of heteroaromatic chlorides with aryl Grignard reagents. Catalyst loadings as low as 0.1 mol % have been used to afford the products in excellent yields. This nickel-based catalytic system also promotes the activation of the C(Ar)-O bond of anisoles in the Kumada-Tamao-Corriu reaction under fairly mild conditions.  相似文献

Aromatic amide-derived phosphanes (Aphos) are hemilabile P,O-coordinating ligands, which, when combined with a Pd precursor, yield a promising precatalyst system for Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions. A focused library of Aphos ligands has been constructed for structural optimization, with the target of improving catalytic efficacy. By using microwave irradiation at accurately regulated temperature, an expeditious and reproducible one-pot synthesis and screening protocol was designed and experimentally validated. The success is based on a unique self-assisted molecular editing (SAME) process in which both the substrate and the product molecules catalyze formation of the product. Thus, starting from a 4-chlorobenzamide-derived Aphos as the substrate, parallel reactions with a selected set of arylboronic acids, in the absence of an added external phosphane ligand to Pd, produced a family of structurally edited Aphos ligands. The resultant reaction mixture containing the new Aphos, the Pd species, and the base could be used for in situ screening of the Aphos efficacy in a reference Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction. The structures of all Aphos ligands were characterized by 31P NMR spectroscopy and their catalytic profiles in the reference reaction were evaluated by HPLC analysis. These data allowed the identification of an efficient Aphos ligand, capable of promoting room-temperature Suzuki-Miyaura coupling of unactivated and sterically hindered aryl chlorides with arylboronic acids under mildly basic conditions.  相似文献
