We derive the chiral effective Lagrangian for excited heavy-light mesons from QCD under proper approximations. We focus on the chiral partners with j_l~P=3+/2 and j_l~P=3~-/2 which amounts to(1~+, 2~+) and(1~-, 2~-) states respectively. The low energy constants including the masses of the chiral partners are calculated. The calculated spectrum for the excited mesons are found roughly consistent with experimental data. In addition, our results indicate that quantum numbers of B_J(5970) can be identified with 1~-or 2~-.  相似文献

The phenomenological non-relativistic quark model has been employed to obtain the ground state masses of light vector mesons and their radially excited states and their decay widths.The full hamiltonian used in the investigation has kinetic energy,the confinement potential and the one-gluon-exchange potential.A good agreement is obtained with the experimental masses and their leptonic decay widths.  相似文献

A Gaussian wave function is used for detailed study of the mass spectra of the B and BS mesons using a Cornell potential incorporated with a O(1/m) correction in the potential energy term and expansion of the kinetic energy term up to O p~(10) for relativistic correction of the Hamiltonian.The predicted excited states for the B and B_s mesons are in very good agreement with results obtained by experiment.We assign B_2(5747) and B_(s2()5840) as the 1~3P~2 state,B1(5721) and Bs1(5830) as the 1P_1 state,B0(5732) as the 1~3P_0 state,B_(s1)(5850) as the 1~P 1 state and B(5970) as the 2~3S_1 state.We investigate the Regge trajectories in the(J,M~2) and(nr,M~2) planes with their corresponding parameters.The branching ratios for leptonic and radiative-leptonic decays are estimated for the B and BS mesons.Our results are in good agreement with experimental observations as well as outcomes of other theoretical models.  相似文献

The masses, pseudoscalar and vector weak decay constants and electromagnetic form factors of light S-wave mesons are studied in the framework of the relativistic quark model based on the quasipotential approach. We use the same model assumptions and parameters as in our previous investigations of heavy meson and baryon properties. The masses and wave functions of the ground state and radially excited π, ρ, K, K* and φ mesons, obtained by solving numerically the relativistic Schrödinger-like equation with the complete relativistic qq? potential including both spin-independent and spin-dependent terms, are presented. Novel relativistic expressions for the weak decay constants of the pseudoscalar and vector mesons are derived. It is shown that the intermediate negative-energy quark states give significant contributions which essentially decrease the decay constants bringing them in agreement with experimental data. The electromagnetic form factors of the pion, charged and neutral kaon are calculated in a broad range of the space-like momentum transfer. The corresponding charge radii are determined. All results agree well with the available experimental data.  相似文献

The masses of the ground, orbitally and radially excited states of heavy-light mesons are calculated within the framework of the QCD-motivated relativistic quark model based on the quasipotential approach. Both light (q=u,d,s) and heavy (Q=c,b) quarks are treated fully relativistically without application of the heavy-quark 1/m Q expansion. The Regge trajectories in the (M 2,J) and (M 2,n r ) planes are investigated and their parameters are obtained. The results are in good agreement with available experimental data except for the masses of the anomalous $D^{*}_{s0}(2317)$ , D s1(2460) and $D_{sJ}^{*}(2860)$ states.  相似文献

Using the phenomenological relativistic harmonic model (RHM) for quarks, we have obtained the masses of S wave charmonium and bottomonium states. The full Hamiltonian used in the investigation has Lorentz scalar plus vector confinement potential, along with the confined one gluon exchange potential (COGEP). A good agreement with the experimental masses for the ground and the radially excited states is obtained both for the triplet and singlet S wave mesons. The decay properties of the ground state charmonium and bottomonium are investigated.  相似文献

用夸克势模型研究结构相同而自旋和轨道量子数不同的介子之间质量劈裂是检验势模型有效性的重要手段之一. 在以往的用各种夸克势模型计算质量劈裂工作中, 当轻介子和重介子一起计算时, π-ρ很容易劈裂, 而ηc-J/ψ等的劈裂都很 难达到实验值. 这里首先用正规化形状因子μ2/(q22), 对完整的动量空间中的Breit夸克势的第三项实施二次正规化, 除了第一项 库仑势和第七项常数项势, 对其余的项实施一次正规化, 然后用来计算 质量劈裂. 研究计算发现, 只有当屏蔽质量μ取为关于 折合质量μr=mr mj/(mr+mj) 的三阶多项式时, 轻介子π-ρ和重介子ηc-J/ψ, ηb-Υ(1s), 还有χc0c1c2 等的劈裂 精确达到实验值, 同时其他介子质量也都比以往得到较大的改善. 因此, 本文给出了一个有效的夸克势模型.  相似文献

We describe in detail predictions of the QCD string approach for the masses of the heavy—light D, D s , B, and B s mesons, including orbitally and radially excited states. We discuss the role of the proper dynamics of the QCD string in the formation of the spectrum of the heavy—light mesons, with quark self-energy corrections calculated self-consistently in the same picture. We give our predictions in terms of the current quark masses; the string tension—the only dimensional parameter describing the interquark interaction; and the strong coupling constant, which differs for the fine and the hyperfine interactions. The results are compared with the predictions of other models and with the experimental and lattice results.  相似文献

The light hadron spectrum as computed in nonperturbative QCD is reviewed and compared to lattice data and experiment. The mixing of mesons, hybrids, and glueballs is calculated in the field correlator method. The strong decay mechanisms are found in the method and compared to the known phenomenological models. The mass spectra of both light and heavy mesons are studied in the Dirac equation with an equally mixed 4-vector and scalar power-law potential model. This potential provides an excellent fit not only to the mass spectra of, ϕ, Ψ and υ families but also to those ofD, F andB mesons. Heavy-light hadrons are studied in a mass loaded flux tube model. The study indicates that the dynamics of mesons and baryons containing a c quark is described well by the mass loaded flux tube. The hypothesis of good diquark-antiquark degeneracy is found reasonable in heavy-light quark systems. The spectrum of charmed (D) and charmed strange (Ds) mesons is systematically computed. The lowest-lying glueballs are investigated in lattice QCD using N_f = 2 clover Wilson fermions on anisotropic lattices. We simulate at two different and relatively heavy quark masses, corresponding to physical pion masses of mπ~938 MeV and 650 MeV. The quark mass dependence of the glueball masses has not been investigated in the present study. Only the gluonic operators built from Wilson loops are utilized in calculating the corresponding correlation functions. In the tensor channel, we obtain the ground state mass to be 2.363(39) GeV and 2.384(67)GeV at mπ~938 MeV and 650 MeV, respectively. In the pseudoscalar channel, when using the gluonic operator whose continuum limit has the form of ∈_ijkTrB_iD_jB_k, we obtain the ground state mass to be 2.573(55) GeV and 2.585(65) GeV at the two pion masses. These results are compatible with the corresponding results in the quenched approximation. In contrast, if we use the topological charge density as field operators for the pseudoscalar, the masses of the lowest state are much lighter(around 1 GeV) and compatible with the expected masses of the flavor singlet qq meson. This indicates that the operator ∈ijk TrBiDjBk and the topological charge density couple rather differently to the glueball states and qq mesons. The observation of the light flavor singlet pseudoscalar meson can be viewed as the manifestation of effects of dynamical quarks. In the scalar channel, the ground state masses extracted from the correlation functions of gluonic operators are determined to be around 1.4-1.5 GeV, which is close to the ground state masses from the correlation functions of the quark bilinear operators. In all cases, the mixing between glueballs and conventional mesons remains to be further clarified in the future.  相似文献

We report the observation of two narrow resonances consistent with states of orbitally excited (L=1) B_(s) mesons using 1 fb;(-1) of pp[over ] collisions at sqrt[s]=1.96 TeV collected with the Collider Detector at Fermilab II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron. We use two-body decays into K- and B+ mesons reconstructed as B(+)-->J/psiK(+), J/psi-->mu(+)mu(-) or B(+)-->D[over ](0)pi(+), D[over ](0)-->K(+)pi(-). We deduce the masses of the two states to be m(B_(s1))=5829.4+/-0.7 MeV/c(2) and m(B_(s2);(*))=5839.6+/-0.7 MeV/c;(2).  相似文献

First radial excitations of the scalar-meson nonet and of the pseudoscalar mesons η and η′ are described within a nonlocal chiral quark model of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio type with ′t Hooft interaction. In this model, simple form factors are used, which allows us to describe first radial excitations of the mesons and to retain the gap equations describing spontaneous breakdown of chiral symmetry in the standard form. The external parameters of form factors are fixed by the masses of excited pseudoscalar mesons, and the same form factors are used to predict the masses of excited scalar mesons. The strong decays of excited scalar mesons and of η and η′ mesons are described in satisfactory agreement with experimental data.  相似文献

Confined gluons-exchange among relativistically confined quarks is used to calculate the ground state masses and the radially excited states of pseudo scalar and vector mesons. A good agreement is obtained with the experimental masses. Based on the light-cone effective Hamiltonian with confining potential and SU (3) flavor mixing interactions, the flavor mixing mesons on the u, d, and s quark sectors are investigated. Considering the one-gluon exchange interaction and phenomenological quark confinement potential, an improved light-cone effective Hamiltonian for mesons and the corresponding radial mass eigen equations in angular momentum representation is obtained. Solving the J = 0 eigen equations numerically and using a set of adjustable parameters, the obtained solutions for ground states and radial excited states can simultaneously describe both pseudoscalar and scalar flavour-off-diagonal mesons. Some radial excited states are also predicted and wait for experimental test. More results for the vector and axial vector mesons are expected.  相似文献
