Many outdoor sound sources, such as aircraft or ground vehicles, exhibit directional radiation patterns. However, long-range sound propagation algorithms are usually formulated for omnidirectional point sources. This paper describes two methods for incorporating directional sources into long-range sound propagation algorithms. The first is the equivalent source method (ESM), which determines a compact distribution of omnidirectional point sources reproducing a given directivity pattern in the far field. This method can be used with any propagation algorithm because it explicitly reconstructs a source function as a set of point sources with certain amplitudes and positions. The second is a directional starter method (DSM), which is developed specifically for the parabolic equation (PE) algorithms. This method derives narrow- or wide-angle directional starter fields, corresponding to a given source directivity pattern, without reconstructing the equivalent source distribution. Although the ESM can also be used for the PE, the DSM is simpler and can be more convenient, especially if the sound propagation is calculated only for one or a few azimuthal directions. While these two methods are found to produce generally distinct starter fields, they nonetheless yield identical directivity patterns.  相似文献

The paper evaluates the human directional resolution of virtual sound sources synthesised with the aid of a generalised head related impulse response (HRIR) library, i.e., an HRIR library measured using a dummy head and torso. The original HRIR set is first expanded using linear interpolation, and then directional resolution measurements are performed for playback through headphones. These results are compared to the results obtained using loudspeakers as sound sources in an anechoic chamber. Directional resolution is the ability of listeners to distinguish two closely-spaced sound sources alternately playing the same signal. Experiments show that two sound sources with insufficient spacing appear as a single source to the listener. Directional resolution for small azimuth changes is relatively high for both virtual and real sound sources. Most test subjects have no problem resolving two sound sources only 5° apart. Compared to real sound sources, detecting changes in elevation of virtual sound sources is much less accurate, which may be the main drawback of using a generalised HRIR library.  相似文献

Computational algorithms that mimic the response of the basilar membrane must be capable of reproducing a range of complex features that are characteristic of the animal observations. These include complex input output functions that are nonlinear near the site's best frequency, but linear elsewhere. This nonlinearity is critical when using the output of the algorithm as the input to models of inner hair cell function and subsequent auditory-nerve models of low- and high-spontaneous rate fibers. We present an algorithm that uses two processing units operating in parallel: one linear and the other compressively nonlinear. The output from the algorithm is the sum of the outputs of the linear and nonlinear processing units. Input to the algorithm is stapes motion and output represents basilar membrane motion. The algorithm is evaluated against published chinchilla and guinea pig observations of basilar membrane and Reissner's membrane motion made using laser velocimetry. The algorithm simulates both quantitatively and qualitatively, differences in input/output functions among three different sites along the cochlear partition. It also simulates quantitatively and qualitatively a range of phenomena including isovelocity functions, phase response, two-tone suppression, impulse response, and distortion products. The algorithm is potentially suitable for development as a bank of filters, for use in more comprehensive models of the peripheral auditory system.  相似文献

The propagation of triply coupled vibrations in a periodic, nonsymmetrical and axially loaded thin-walled Bernoulli–Euler beam composed of two kinds of materials is investigated with the transfer matrix method. The cross-section of the beam lacks symmetrical axes, and bending vibrations in the two perpendicular directions are coupled with torsional vibrations. Furthermore, the effect of warping stiffness is included. The band structures of the periodic beam, both including and excluding the warping effect, are obtained. The frequency response function of the finite periodic beam is simulated with the finite element method. These simulations show large vibration-based attenuation in the frequency range of the gap, as expected. By comparing the band structure of the beam with plane wave expansion method calculations that are available in the literature, one finds that including the warping effect leads to a more accurate simulation. The effects of warping stiffness and axial force on the band structure are also discussed.  相似文献

为了给双耳听力设备佩戴者带来更好的语音可懂度,提出了一种利用双耳时间差与声级差的近场语音增强算法,该方法首先利用这两种差异来估计语音的功率谱和语音的相干函数,然后计算干扰噪声在左右耳间的头相关传输函数的比值,最后构造两个维纳滤波器。客观评价的参数显示该算法去噪效果优于对比算法而目标语音的时间差误差和声级差误差低于对比算法。主观的言语接受阈测试表明该方法能有效提高语音可懂度。结果表明,该算法在能够有效去除干扰噪声的同时,保留了目标语音的空间信息。   相似文献

为实现在工况变化条件下对旋转机械的故障预测, 提出使用相空间曲变和平滑正交分解理论在变工况条件下跟踪旋转机械的故障演化过程. 首先在对目标系统的观测时间序列相空间重构的基础上, 通过量化相空间曲变构建信号损伤演化的跟踪函数, 为弥补累积模型误差和相空间点局部分布概率差异造成的误差, 将时间序列和相空间进行分割, 并以此构建跟踪矩阵; 再利用平滑正交分解方法将跟踪矩阵中分别由实际损伤劣化和工况变化造成的演化趋势进行分离, 根据平滑正交特征值提取出其中能够反映实际故障演化趋势的平滑正交分量; 最后以变转速情况下轴承外环故障退化的仿真信号为例验证算法的有效性. 计算结果表明: 本文提出的算法能够对旋转机械故障的演化趋势实现有效跟踪, 基本排除转速波动造成的工况变化影响. 关键词: 相空间曲变 平滑正交分解 变工况 故障跟踪  相似文献

This article describes techniques used to synthesize headphone-presented stimuli that simulate the ear-canal waveforms produced by free-field sources. The stimulus synthesis techniques involve measurement of each subject's free-field-to-eardrum transfer functions for sources at a large number of locations in free field, and measurement of headphone-to-eardrum transfer functions with the subject wearing headphones. Digital filters are then constructed from the transfer function measurements, and stimuli are passed through these digital filters. Transfer function data from ten subjects and 144 source positions are described in this article, along with estimates of the various sources of error in the measurements. The free-field-to-eardrum transfer function data are consistent with comparable data reported elsewhere in the literature. A comparison of ear-canal waveforms produced by free-field sources with ear-canal waveforms produced by headphone-presented simulations shows that the simulations duplicate free-field waveforms within a few dB of magnitude and a few degrees of phase at frequencies up to 14 kHz.  相似文献

提出了一种用于实时快速合成多个虚拟声源的头相关传输函数(HRTF)模型。首先对水平面的头相关脉冲响应(HRIR,头相关传输函数的时域形式)数据进行两层小波包分解,然后用一组子带滤波器和综合滤波器建立模型。子带滤波器的系数由HRIR小波系数的零插值得到,综合滤波器的系数由小波函数计算得到。通过使用阈值法对小波系数进行压缩,即可达到简化模型、减小运算量的目的。计算表明,只需要使用30点的小波系数建模,可使模型的重构误差控制在1%的量级。而心理声学实验表明,使用35点的小波系数,模型可得到和原始的HRTF滤波器相当的听觉效果。在同时合成多个虚拟声源的实时计算中,模型的运算量明显小于普通的HRTF滤波器。   相似文献

混沌信号所固有的非周期、宽带频谱和对初值极度敏感等特性使得对这类信号进行盲分离极为困难. 针对这一问题, 提出一种新的盲分离方法, 该方法通过相空间重构来构造代价函数, 将混沌信号的盲分离转化为一个无约束优化问题, 并利用人工蜂群算法进行求解. 不同于现有的独立成分分析方法仅使用混合信号的统计特性来解决分离问题, 该方法能充分利用混合信号内在的动态特性, 因而在处理混沌信号这种确定性信号时能获得更好的分离效果. 此外, 正交矩阵的参数化表示有效地降低了盲分离问题的复杂性, 使优化过程能快速收敛. 实验结果表明, 该方法具有较快的收敛速度和较高的数值精度, 在分离混沌信号时其整体性能优于现有的几种盲分离方法. 同时, 在分离混沌-高斯混合信号的实验中该方法也展现出优异良好的性能, 这表明该文的方法有应用潜力.  相似文献

The phase of cross-correlation function of two different normal modes contains source range information, which can be extracted by warping transform due to the dispersive characteristics of the shallow water waveguide. The autocorrelation function of the received pressure or particle velocity contains both modal autocorrelation component(MAC) and modal cross-correlation component(MCC), with the former part usually treated as interference for source ranging. Because the real part of the vertical intensity flux(RPVIF) only contains MCC, a passive impulsive source ranging method based on the frequency warping transform of RPVIF with a single vector receiver in shallow water is presented. Using a waveguide-invariant-based frequency warping operator, the cross-correlation components of two different modes in the vertical intensity flux are warped into separable impulsive sequences, the time delays of which are subsequently used for source ranging. The advantages of source ranging based on warping the vertical intensity flux compared with warping the pressure autocorrelation function are pointed out, and the experiment results are also presented.  相似文献

The propagation of coupled flexural-torsional vibration in the periodic beam including warping effect is investigated with the transfer matrix theory. The band structures of the periodic beam, both including warping effect and ignoring warping effect, are obtained. The frequency response function of the finite periodic beams is simulated with finite element method, which shows large vibration attenuation in the frequency range of the gap as expected. The effect of warping stiffness on the band structure is studied and it is concluded that substantial error can be produced in high frequency range if the effect is ignored. The result including warping effect agrees quite well with the simulated result.  相似文献

The multifrontal method is applied for solving a large system of linear equations resulting from the use of edge-based finite element method (FEM). The finite element method combined with the perfectly matched layers (PML) is given for simulation of microwave filters and the algorithm of multifrontal method is described in detail. The reflection and insertion losses of millimeter wave filter are analyzed as the examples and the obtained results are compared with those obtained from literature. In order to demonstrate the efficiency of the multifrontal method, the computational time is compared with that of both symmetric successive overrelaxation (SSOR) preconditioned conjugate gradient (PCG) and conjugate gradient methods (CG) for the thick-iris waveguide bandpass filer.  相似文献

In some situations of active noise control, infinite impulse response (IIR) filters are more suitable than finite impulse response (FIR) filters owing to the poles in the transfer function. A number of algorithms have been derived for applying IIR filters in active noise control; however, most of them use the direct form IIR filter structure, which faces the difficulties of checking stability and relatively slow convergence speed for noise composed of narrow-band components with large power disparity. To overcome these difficulties along with using the direct form IIR filters, a new adaptive algorithm is proposed in this paper, which uses and updates the lattice form adaptive IIR filter in an active noise control system. Full mathematical derivations of the proposed algorithm are presented, and the comparison between the proposed algorithm and the commonly used filtered-u LMS and filtered-v LMS algorithms shows the superiority of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a palmprint recognition method based on the representation in the feature space. The proposed method seeks to represent the test sample as a linear combination of all the training samples in the feature space and then exploits the obtained linear combination to perform palmprint recognition. We can implement the mapping from the original space to the feature space by using the kernel functions such as radial basis function (RBF). In this method, the selection of the parameter of the kernel function is important. We propose an automatic algorithm for selecting the parameter. The basic idea of the algorithm is to optimize the feature space such that the samples from the same class are well clustered while the samples from different classes are pushed far away. The proposed criterion measures the goodness of a feature space, and the optimal kernel parameter is obtained by minimizing this criterion. Experimental results on multispectral palmprint database show that the proposed method is more effective than 2DPCA, 2DLDA, AANNC, CRC_RLS, nearest neighbor method (NN) and competitive coding method in terms of the correct recognition rate.  相似文献

以二维三角晶格光子晶体为研究对象,在该光子晶体中引入两行以一行耦合介质柱为间距的平行单模线缺陷波导.通过分析和研究光子晶体波导耦合结构的耦合和解耦合特性,发现在不同频率下耦合波导的耦合长度不同.利用平面波展开法和定向耦合原理计算了在不同入射光频率下,缺陷波导间耦合波导的耦合长度,设计了一种新型超微光子晶体波导耦合型三波长功分器,实现了归一化频率分别为0.369、0.394、0.435的光波的分束效果.采用时域有限差分法验证了该功分器具有很好的功率分配效果.本文结果有助于光子晶体新型滤波器、定向耦合器、波分复用器、偏振光分束器以及光开关等光子器件的研究.  相似文献

Two approaches to the optimal design of FIR beamformers with frequency invariant patterns using second-order cone programming (SOCP) are proposed. The first approach is a two-step method, which is implemented via separately optimal array pattern synthesis and optimal FIR filters design. The array weights for each frequency bin within the working frequency band are designed to insure that the array patterns approximate the reference ones. And the FIR filter corresponding to each sensor is designed to insure that the frequency responses approximate the array weights. The second approach is a direct method, in which the beam response is expressed as a linear function of FIR filter tap weights and the filters are designed by jointly optimizing the spatial and frequency responses to achieve the desired array patterns. All the optimal design problems (array pattern synthesis, FIR filter design and joint optimization) are formulated as the SOCP, which can be solved efficiently using the well-developed interior-point methods. Results of computer simulations and lake experiment for a twelve-element semicircular array confirm satisfactory performance of the two approaches proposed in this paper.  相似文献

The Incomplete Cholesky factorizations preconditioning scheme is applied to the conjugate gradient (CG) method for solving a large system of linear equations resulting from finite element method (FEM) analysis of millimeter wave filters. As is well known, the convergence of CG method deteriorates with increasing EM wave number and in millimeter wave band the eigen-values of A are more and more scattered between both the right and the left half-plane. The efficient implementation of this preconditioned CG (PCG) algorithm is described in details for Complex coefficient matrix. With incomplete factorization preconditioning scheme in the conjugate gradient algorithm, this PCG approach can reach convergence in 20 times CPU time shorter than CG for several typical millimeter wave structures.  相似文献

Synthesis of directional patterns varying only slightly in a wide frequency band is considered for continuous linear arrays of arbitrary configurations. It is assumed that a linear array lies in a plane, has a convex shape, and is described by a single-valued function y(x). It is shown that, for such an array, stabilization of the width of its directional pattern is possible in a frequency band exceeding several octaves, provided that the required directional pattern is broader than the directional pattern of the array with phase compensation.  相似文献

We abstract the bus transport networks (BTNs) to two kinds of complex networks with space L and space P methods respectively. Using improved community detecting algorithm (PKM agglomerative algorithm), we analyze the community property of two kinds of BTNs graphs. The results show that the BTNs graph described with space L method have obvious community property, but the other kind of BTNs graph described with space P method have not. The reason is that the BTNs graph described with space P method have the intense overlapping community property and general community division algorithms can not identify this kind of community structure. To overcome this problem, we propose a novel community structure called N-depth community and present a corresponding community detecting algorithm, which can detect overlapping community. Applying the novel community structure and detecting algorithm to a BTN evolution model described with space P, whose network property agrees well with real BTNs', we get obvious community property.  相似文献

This paper presents a technique for damage detection in structures under unknown periodic excitations using the transient displacement response. The method is capable of identifying the damage parameters without finding the input excitations. We first define the concept of displacement space as a linear space in which each point represents displacements of structure under an excitation and initial condition. Roughly speaking, the method is based on the fact that structural displacements under free and forced vibrations are associated with two parallel subspaces in the displacement space. Considering this novel geometrical viewpoint, an equation called kernel parallelization equation (KPE) is derived for damage detection under unknown periodic excitations and a sensitivity-based algorithm for solving KPE is proposed accordingly. The method is evaluated via three case studies under periodic excitations, which confirm the efficiency of the proposed method.  相似文献
