Let φ be a primitive Maass cusp form and t φ (n) be its nth Fourier coefficient at the cusp infinity. In this short note, we are interested in the estimation of the sums ${\sum_{n \leq x}t_{\varphi}(n)}$ and ${\sum_{n \leq x}t_{\varphi}(n^2)}$ . We are able to improve the previous results by showing that for any ${\varepsilon > 0}$ $$\sum_{n \leq x}t_{\varphi}(n) \ll\, _{\varphi, \varepsilon} x^{\frac{1027}{2827} + \varepsilon} \quad {and}\quad\sum_{n \leq x}t_{\varphi}(n^2) \ll\,_{\varphi, \varepsilon} x^{\frac{489}{861} + \varepsilon}.$$   相似文献

For real ${L_\infty(\mathbb{R})}$ -functions ${\Phi}$ and ${\Psi}$ of compact support, we prove the norm resolvent convergence, as ${\varepsilon}$ and ${\nu}$ tend to 0, of a family ${S_{\varepsilon \nu}}$ of one-dimensional Schrödinger operators on the line of the form $$S_{\varepsilon \nu} = -\frac{d^2}{dx^2} + \frac{\alpha}{\varepsilon^2} \Phi \left( \frac{x}{\varepsilon} \right) + \frac{\beta}{\nu} \Psi \left(\frac{x}{\nu} \right),$$ provided the ratio ${\nu/\varepsilon}$ has a finite or infinite limit. The limit operator S 0 depends on the shape of ${\Phi}$ and ${\Psi}$ as well as on the limit of ratio ${\nu/\varepsilon}$ . If the potential ${\alpha\Phi}$ possesses a zero-energy resonance, then S 0 describes a non trivial point interaction at the origin. Otherwise S 0 is the direct sum of the Dirichlet half-line Schrödinger operators.  相似文献

Given a vector field ${\mathfrak{a}}$ on ${\mathbb{R}^3}$ , we consider a mapping ${x\mapsto \Pi_{\mathfrak{a}}(x)}$ that assigns to each ${x\in\mathbb{R}^3}$ , a plane ${\Pi_{\mathfrak{a}}(x)}$ containing x, whose normal vector is ${\mathfrak{a}(x)}$ . Associated with this mapping, we define a maximal operator ${\mathcal{M}^{\mathfrak{a}}_N}$ on ${L^1_{loc}(\mathbb{R}^3)}$ for each ${N\gg 1}$ by $$\mathcal{M}^{\mathfrak{a}}_Nf(x)=\sup_{x\in\tau} \frac{1}{|\tau|} \int_{\tau}|f(y)|\,dy$$ where the supremum is taken over all 1/N ×? 1/N?× 1 tubes τ whose axis is embedded in the plane ${\Pi_\mathfrak{a}(x)}$ . We study the behavior of ${\mathcal{M}^{\mathfrak{a}}_N}$ according to various vector fields ${\mathfrak{a}}$ . In particular, we classify the operator norms of ${\mathcal{M}^{\mathfrak{a}}_N}$ on ${L^2(\mathbb{R}^3)}$ when ${\mathfrak{a}(x)}$ is the linear function of the form (a 11 x 1?+?a 21 x 2, a 12 x 1?+?a 22 x 2, 1). The operator norm of ${\mathcal{M}^\mathfrak{a}_N}$ on ${L^2(\mathbb{R}^3)}$ is related with the number given by $$D=(a_{12}+a_{21})^2-4a_{11}a_{22}.$$   相似文献

Let ${\Phi}$ be a continuous, strictly increasing and concave function on (0, ∞) of critical lower type index ${p_\Phi^- \in(0,\,1]}$ . Let L be an injective operator of type ω having a bounded H functional calculus and satisfying the k-Davies–Gaffney estimates with ${k \in {\mathbb Z}_+}$ . In this paper, the authors first introduce an Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ in terms of the non-tangential L-adapted square function and then establish its molecular characterization. As applications, the authors prove that the generalized Riesz transform ${D_{\gamma}L^{-\delta/(2k)}}$ is bounded from the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz space ${L^{\widetilde{\Phi}}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^- \in (0, \frac{n}{n+ \delta - \gamma}]}$ , ${0 < \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\widetilde \Phi}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^-\in (\frac{n}{n + \delta+ \lfloor \gamma \rfloor- \gamma},\,\frac{n}{n+ \delta- \gamma}]}$ , ${1\le \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the weak Orlicz–Hardy space ${WH^\Phi(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${\gamma = \delta}$ and ${p_\Phi=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ or ${p_\Phi^-=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ with ${p_\Phi^-}$ attainable, where ${\widetilde{\Phi}}$ is an Orlicz function whose inverse function ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}}$ is defined by ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}(t):=\Phi^{-1}(t)t^{\frac{1}{n}(\gamma- \delta)}}$ for all ${t \in (0,\,\infty)}$ , ${p_\Phi}$ denotes the strictly critical lower type index of ${\Phi}$ , ${\lfloor \gamma \rfloor}$ the maximal integer not more than ${\gamma}$ and ${(p_-(L),\,p_+(L))}$ the range of exponents ${p \in[1,\, \infty]}$ for which the semigroup ${\{e^{-tL}\}_{t >0 }}$ is bounded on ${L^p(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ .  相似文献

We consider the Markov chain ${\{X_n^x\}_{n=0}^\infty}$ on ${\mathbb{R}^d}$ defined by the stochastic recursion ${X_{n}^{x}= \psi_{\theta_{n}} (X_{n-1}^{x})}$ , starting at ${x\in\mathbb{R}^d}$ , where ?? 1, ?? 2, . . . are i.i.d. random variables taking their values in a metric space ${(\Theta, \mathfrak{r})}$ , and ${\psi_{\theta_{n}} :\mathbb{R}^d\mapsto\mathbb{R}^d}$ are Lipschitz maps. Assume that the Markov chain has a unique stationary measure ??. Under appropriate assumptions on ${\psi_{\theta_n}}$ , we will show that the measure ?? has a heavy tail with the exponent ???>?0 i.e. ${\nu(\{x\in\mathbb{R}^d: |x| > t\})\asymp t^{-\alpha}}$ . Using this result we show that properly normalized Birkhoff sums ${S_n^x=\sum_{k=1}^n X_k^x}$ , converge in law to an ??-stable law for ${\alpha\in(0, 2]}$ .  相似文献

Let (T t ) t?≥ 0 be a bounded analytic semigroup on L p (Ω), with 1?<?p?<?∞. Let ?A denote its infinitesimal generator. It is known that if A and A * both satisfy square function estimates ${\bigl\|\bigl(\int_{0}^{\infty} \vert A^{\frac{1}{2}} T_t(x)\vert^2 {\rm d}t \bigr)^{\frac{1}{2}}\bigr\|_{L^p} \lesssim \|x\|_{L^p}}$ and ${\bigl\|\bigl(\int_{0}^{\infty} \vert A^{*\frac{1}{2}} T_t^*(y) \vert^2 {\rm d}t \bigr)^{\frac{1}{2}}\bigr\|_{L^{p^\prime}} \lesssim \|y\|_{L^{p^\prime}}}$ for ${x\in L^p(\Omega)}$ and ${y\in L^{p^\prime}(\Omega)}$ , then A admits a bounded ${H^{\infty}(\Sigma_\theta)}$ functional calculus for any ${\theta>\frac{\pi}{2}}$ . We show that this actually holds true for some ${\theta<\frac{\pi}{2}}$ .  相似文献

We also investigate the case ${q= \frac{N+1}{N-1}}$ . The proofs rely on the existence and uniqueness of solutions of related equations on spherical domains.  相似文献

We consider the degenerate elliptic operator acting on ${C^2_b}$ functions on [0,∞) d : $$\mathcal{L}f(x)=\sum_{i=1}^d a_i(x) x_i^{\alpha_i} \frac{\partial^2 f}{\partial x_i^2} (x) +\sum_{i=1}^d b_i(x) \frac{\partial f}{\partial x_i}(x), $$ where the a i are continuous functions that are bounded above and below by positive constants, the b i are bounded and measurable, and the ${\alpha_i\in (0,1)}$ . We impose Neumann boundary conditions on the boundary of [0,∞) d . There will not be uniqueness for the submartingale problem corresponding to ${\mathcal{L}}$ . If we consider, however, only those solutions to the submartingale problem for which the process spends 0 time on the boundary, then existence and uniqueness for the submartingale problem for ${\mathcal{L}}$ holds within this class. Our result is equivalent to establishing weak uniqueness for the system of stochastic differential equations $$ {\rm d}X_t^i=\sqrt{2a_i(X_t)} (X_t^i)^{\alpha_i/2}{\rm d}W^i_t + b_i(X_t) {\rm d}t + {\rm d}L_t^{X^i},\quad X^i_t \geq 0, $$ where ${W_t^i}$ are independent Brownian motions and ${L^{X_i}_t}$ is a local time at 0 for X i .  相似文献

This paper deals with the initial value problem of type $$\begin{array}{ll} \qquad \frac{\partial u}{\partial t} = \mathcal{L} u := \sum \limits^3_{i=0} A^{(i)} (t, x) \frac{\partial u}{\partial x_{i}} + B(t, x)u + C(t, x)\\ u (0, x) = u_{0}(x)\end{array}$$ in the space of generalized regular functions in the sense of Quaternionic Analysis satisfying the differential equation $$\mathcal{D}_{\lambda}u := \mathcal{D} u + \lambda u = 0,$$ where ${t \in [0, T]}$ is the time variable, x runs in a bounded and simply connected domain in ${\mathbb{R}^{4}, \lambda}$ is a real number, and ${\mathcal{D}}$ is the Cauchy-Fueter operator. We prove necessary and sufficient conditions on the coefficients of the operator ${\mathcal{L}}$ under which ${\mathcal{L}}$ is associated with the operator ${\mathcal{D}_{\lambda}}$ , i.e. ${\mathcal{L}}$ transforms the set of all solutions of the differential equation ${\mathcal{D}_{\lambda}u = 0}$ into solutions of the same equation for fixedly chosen t. This criterion makes it possible to construct operators ${\mathcal{L}}$ for which the initial value problem is uniquely soluble for an arbitrary initial generalized regular function u 0 by the method of associated spaces constructed by W. Tutschke (Teubner Leipzig and Springer Verlag, 1989) and the solution is also generalized regular for each t.  相似文献

We consider the critical focusing wave equation $(-\partial _t^2+\Delta )u+u^5=0$ in ${\mathbb{R }}^{1+3}$ and prove the existence of energy class solutions which are of the form $$\begin{aligned} u(t,x)=t^\frac{\mu }{2}W(t^\mu x)+\eta (t,x) \end{aligned}$$ in the forward lightcone $\{(t,x)\in {\mathbb{R }}\times {\mathbb{R }}^3: |x|\le t, t\gg 1\}$ where $W(x)=(1+\frac{1}{3} |x|^2)^{-\frac{1}{2}}$ is the ground state soliton, $\mu $ is an arbitrary prescribed real number (positive or negative) with $|\mu |\ll 1$ , and the error $\eta $ satisfies $$\begin{aligned} \Vert \partial _t \eta (t,\cdot )\Vert _{L^2(B_t)} +\Vert \nabla \eta (t,\cdot )\Vert _{L^2(B_t)}\ll 1,\quad B_t:=\{x\in {\mathbb{R }}^3: |x|<t\} \end{aligned}$$ for all $t\gg 1$ . Furthermore, the kinetic energy of $u$ outside the cone is small. Consequently, depending on the sign of $\mu $ , we obtain two new types of solutions which either concentrate as $t\rightarrow \infty $ (with a continuum of rates) or stay bounded but do not scatter. In particular, these solutions contradict a strong version of the soliton resolution conjecture.  相似文献

Let $\pi S(t)$ denote the argument of the Riemann zeta-function, $\zeta (s)$ , at the point $s=\frac{1}{2}+it$ . Assuming the Riemann hypothesis, we present two proofs of the bound $$\begin{aligned} |S(t)| \le \left(\frac{1}{4} + o(1) \right)\frac{\log t}{\log \log t} \end{aligned}$$ for large $t$ . This improves a result of Goldston and Gonek by a factor of 2. The first method consists of bounding the auxiliary function $S_1(t) = \int _0^{t} S(u) \> \text{ d}u$ using extremal functions constructed by Carneiro, Littmann and Vaaler. We then relate the size of $S(t)$ to the size of the functions $S_1(t\pm h)-S_1(t)$ when $h\asymp 1/\log \log t$ . The alternative approach bounds $S(t)$ directly, relying on the solution of the Beurling–Selberg extremal problem for the odd function $f(x) = \arctan \left(\frac{1}{x}\right) - \frac{x}{1 + x^2}$ . This draws upon recent work by Carneiro and Littmann.  相似文献

We consider the problem $$\begin{aligned} -\Delta u=\varepsilon ^{2}e^{u}- \frac{1}{|\Omega |}\int _\Omega \varepsilon ^{2} e^{u}+ {4\pi N\over |\Omega |} - 4 \pi N\delta _p, \quad \text{ in} {\Omega }, \quad \int _\Omega u=0 \end{aligned}$$ in a flat two-torus $\Omega $ with periodic boundary conditions, where $\varepsilon >0,\,|\Omega |$ is the area of the $\Omega $ , $N>0$ and $\delta _p$ is a Dirac mass at $p\in \Omega $ . We prove that if $1\le m<N+1$ then there exists a family of solutions $\{u_\varepsilon \}_{\varepsilon }$ such that $\varepsilon ^{2}e^{u_\varepsilon }\rightharpoonup 8\pi \sum _{i=1}^m\delta _{q_i}$ as $\varepsilon \rightarrow 0$ in measure sense for some different points $q_{1}, \ldots , q_{m}$ . Furthermore, points $q_i$ , $i=1,\dots ,m$ are different from $p$ .  相似文献

Let ${\pi=(d_{1},d_{2},\ldots,d_{n})}$ and ${\pi'=(d'_{1},d'_{2},\ldots,d'_{n})}$ be two non-increasing degree sequences. We say ${\pi}$ is majorizated by ${\pi'}$ , denoted by ${\pi \vartriangleleft \pi'}$ , if and only if ${\pi\neq \pi'}$ , ${\sum_{i=1}^{n}d_{i}=\sum_{i=1}^{n}d'_{i}}$ , and ${\sum_{i=1}^{j}d_{i}\leq\sum_{i=1}^{j}d'_{i}}$ for all ${j=1,2,\ldots,n}$ . If there exists one connected graph G with ${\pi}$ as its degree sequence and ${c=(\sum_{i=1}^{n}d_{i})/2-n+1}$ , then G is called a c-cyclic graph and ${\pi}$ is called a c-cyclic degree sequence. Suppose ${\pi}$ is a non-increasing c-cyclic degree sequence and ${\pi'}$ is a non-increasing graphic degree sequence, if ${\pi \vartriangleleft \pi'}$ and there exists some t ${(2\leq t\leq n)}$ such that ${d'_{t}\geq c+1}$ and ${d_{i}=d'_{i}}$ for all ${t+1\leq i\leq n}$ , then the majorization ${\pi \vartriangleleft \pi'}$ is called a normal majorization. Let μ(G) be the signless Laplacian spectral radius, i.e., the largest eigenvalue of the signless Laplacian matrix of G. We use C π to denote the class of connected graphs with degree sequence π. If ${G \in C_{\pi}}$ and ${\mu(G)\geq \mu(G')}$ for any other ${G'\in C_{\pi}}$ , then we say G has greatest signless Laplacian radius in C π . In this paper, we prove that: Let π and π′ be two different non-increasing c-cyclic (c ≥ 0) degree sequences, G and G′ be the connected c-cyclic graphs with greatest signless Laplacian spectral radii in C π and C π', respectively. If ${\pi \vartriangleleft \pi'}$ and it is a normal majorization, then ${\mu(G) < \mu(G')}$ . This result extends the main result of Zhang (Discrete Math 308:3143–3150, 2008).  相似文献

Given a strictly increasing sequence ${\Lambda = (\lambda_n)}$ of nonnegative real numbers, with ${\sum_{n=1}^\infty \frac{1}{\lambda_n}<\infty}$ , the Müntz spaces ${M_\Lambda^p}$ are defined as the closure in L p ([0, 1]) of the monomials ${x^{\lambda_n}}$ . We discuss how properties of the embedding ${M_\Lambda^2\subset L^2(\mu)}$ , where?μ is a finite positive Borel measure on the interval [0, 1], have immediate consequences for composition operators on ${M^2_\Lambda}$ . We give criteria for composition operators to be bounded, compact, or to belong to the Schatten–von Neumann ideals.  相似文献

Let V be a convex subset of a normed space and let a nondecreasing function α : [0, ∞) → [0, ∞) be given. A function ${f : V \rightarrow \mathbb{R}}$ is called α-midconvex if $$f\left(\frac{x+y}{2} \right)\leq \frac{f(x)+f(y)}{2}+\alpha(\|x-y\|) \quad \,{\rm for}\, x,y\in V.$$ It is known (Tabor in Control Cybern., 38/3:656–669, 2009) that if ${f : V \rightarrow \mathbb{R}}$ is α-midconvex, locally bounded above at every point of V then $$f(tx+(1-t)y)\leq tf(x)+(1-t)f(y)+P_\alpha(\|x-y\|) \quad \,{\rm for}\, x, y \in V,t \in [0,1],$$ where ${P_\alpha(r):=\sum_{k=0}^\infty \frac{1}{2^k} \alpha(2{\rm dist}(2^kr, \mathbb{Z}))}$ for ${r \in \mathbb{R}}$ . We show that under some additional assumptions the above estimation cannot be improved.  相似文献

A locally convex Lie group G has the Trotter property if, for every $x_1, x_2 \in \mathfrak{g }$ , $$\begin{aligned} \exp _G(t(x_1 + x_2))=\lim _{n \rightarrow \infty } \left(\exp _G\left(\frac{t}{n}x_1\right)\exp _G\left(\frac{t}{n}x_2\right)\right)^n \end{aligned}$$ holds uniformly on compact subsets of $\mathbb{R }$ . All locally exponential Lie groups have this property, but also groups of automorphisms of principal bundles over compact smooth manifolds. A key result of the present article is that, if G has the Trotter property, $\pi : G \rightarrow {\mathrm{GL}}(V)$ is a continuous representation of G on a locally convex space, and $v \in V$ is a vector such that $\overline{\mathtt{d}\pi }(x)v :=\frac{d}{dt}|_{t=0} \pi (\exp _G(tx))v$ exists for every $x \in \mathfrak{g }$ , then the map $\mathfrak{g }\rightarrow V,x \mapsto \overline{\mathtt{d}\pi }(x)v$ is linear. Using this result we conclude that, for a representation of a locally exponential Fréchet–Lie group G on a metrizable locally convex space, the space of $\mathcal{C }^{k}$ -vectors coincides with the common domain of the k-fold products of the operators $\overline{\mathtt{d}\pi }(x)$ . For unitary representations on Hilbert spaces, the assumption of local exponentiality can be weakened to the Trotter property. As an application, we show that for smooth (resp., analytic) unitary representations of Fréchet–Lie supergroups $(G,\mathfrak{g })$ where G has the Trotter property, the common domain of the operators of $\mathfrak{g }=\mathfrak{g }_{\overline{0}}\oplus \mathfrak{g }_{\overline{1}}$ can always be extended to the space of smooth (resp., analytic) vectors for G.  相似文献

Given a function $\mathbb{L}_2 $ (?), its Fourier transform $g(x) = \hat f(x) = F[f](x) = \frac{1} {{\sqrt {2\pi } }}\int\limits_{ - \infty }^{ + \infty } {f(x)e^{ - ixt} dt} ,f(t) = F^{ - 1} [g](t) = \frac{1} {{\sqrt {2\pi } }}\int\limits_{ - \infty }^{ + \infty } {g(x)e^{ - ixt} dx} $ and the inverse Fourier transform are considered in the space f ε $\mathbb{L}_2 $ (?). New estimates are presented for the integral $\int\limits_{|t| \geqslant N} {|g(t)|^2 dt} = \int\limits_{|t| \geqslant N} {|\hat f(t)|^2 dt} ,N \geqslant 1,$ in the vase of f ε $\mathbb{L}_2 $ (?) characterized by the generalized modulus of continuity of the kth order constructed with the help of the Steklov function. Some other estimates associated with this integral are proved.  相似文献
