| Abstract: | Summary 1. Dioxane lignin has been isolated from mature stems of the cotton plantGossypium hirsutum by mild acidolysis in an atmosphere of nitrogen.2. Its expanded semiempirical formula has been established by elementary and functional analyses.3.
