| Abstract: | The synthesis of new bioisosteric analogues of farnesyl pyrophosphate where a vinyl pyrophosphonate replaced the pyrophosphate moiety is described. These compounds have been prepared using a Horner–Wadsworth–Emmons procedure and a modified Michelson reaction.
