Applicability of the Hydrodynamic Approach to the Electron Component in Plasmachemical Reactors of a Beam Plasma Type

In the present work the question of the possible use of the hydrodynamic approach for describing a plasma beam discharge is investigated. It is shown that the condition ν_ei > (ν_ei + ν_en) X W/nT is the Maxwelliazation criterion of moderate energy particles in a plasma beam discharge. In this case the value of moderate energy is less than 3÷4 values of plasma electrons thermal ernergy. The influence of the tail of the distribution function on electron heating is considered qualitatively.
