| 摘 要： | A direct way to construct integrable couplings for discrete systemsis presented by use of two semi-direct sum Lie algebras. As theirapplications, the discrete integrable couplings associated withmodified Korteweg--de Vries (m-KdV) lattice and two hierarchies ofdiscrete soliton equations are developed. It is also indicated thatthe study of integrable couplings using semi-direct sums of Liealgebras is an important step towards the complete classification ofintegrable couplings.
