Abstract: | Hyaluronic acid is a promising coating for imparting biocompatibility to nanodiamond–antibiotic composites. It has been found that the adsorption of Miramistin on nanodiamonds with an initial negative zeta-potential increases the adsorption of hyaluronic acid, which remains lower than on positively charged nanodiamonds that are not affected by the pre-adsorption of Miramistin. The highest adsorption of hyaluronic acid is observed when Miramistin neutralizes the surface charge of nanoparticles. |
