| Abstract: | An aspherical optical system for a rotator to separate compound fringes is proposed, which offers the advantages of large field of view, clearer image, shorter focal length and better utilisation of the laser energy. Based on this principle, a new holographic polariscope with a large field of view (200 mm in diameter) has recently been succesfully developed. Examples of application are given for a diesel engine piston and crankshaft. |
