Abstract: | Natural convection of the fluid in a thin porous ring on whose boundaries steady temperature distributions are maintained is considered. For this problem on the basis of the two-dimensional equations an integrodifferential equation is obtained in the zeroth approximation in terms of a small parameter, namely the relative thickness of convection. A parametric numerical investigation of the flow and temperature fields is carried out.Makhachkala, Kaspiisk.
