| Abstract: | An efficient total synthesis of decarestrictine J has been achieved using ring-closing metathesis and Yamaguchi esterification as key steps. The stereogenic centres were generated by means of iterative hydrolytic kinetic resolution (HKR) of racemic epoxides. |
