| Abstract: | The structures of the antimalarials dihydroqinghaosu (2) , artemether (3) , and artesunic acid (7a) derived from qinghaosu were elaborated by 1 H-NMR spectroscopy, and supported with X-ray data obtained for 2 and 3 . Several new derivatives, useful for the chemical characterization of dihydroqinghaosu (2) and artesunic acid (7a) , were prepared. |
