Complementary use of neutron and synchrotron X-ray scattering for problems of interest in condensed matter physics

Abstract:We discuss the relative advantages and disadvantages of neutron and synchrotron X-ray scattering for studying problems in magnetism, highly correlated systems and superconductors, and problems where both techniques can be applied to obtain complementary information.
