| Abstract: | Chiral phosphoric acid-catalyzed asymmetric C-H functionalization has been achieved. In this process, enantiotopic C(sp(3))-hydrogen is selectively activated by chiral phosphoric acid to afford tetrahydroquinoline derivatives with excellent enantioselectivities (up to 97% ee). |
