| Abstract: | A high pressure differential thermal analysis (DTA) apparatus is described which is capable of operation in the pressure range up to 500 MPa and at temperatures from 25 to 300°C. The requirements for quantitative DTA are examined. The apparatus enables the determination of heat of transition under high pressure by using small samples. |
