| Abstract: | The complete system of field equations for a polarized medium with internal spin in interaction with an arbitrary set of fields is derived from a four-dimensional action integral. The general results are then specialized to the interaction with an Einstein-Maxwell field. The application to ideal spinning fluids is discussed. |
