摘    要:小区搜索是LTE移动通信系统中的重要过程,移动终端通过小区搜索实现与基站之间的时间和频率同步,在这个搜索过程中通过主同步信号(Primary Synchronization Signal,PSS)检测和辅同步信号(Secondary Synchronization Signal,SSS)检测完成小区ID的识别。传统的SSS检测算法,需要遍历所有可能序列,复杂高。针对这一缺点,提出一种利用辅同步序列特点,缩小候选序列的新算法,该算法能显著降低搜索范围和计算复杂度。同时,在FPGA硬件实现时,采用1 bit量化和计算单元分时复用策略可进一步降低辅同步信号检测复杂度。仿真结果表明,设计和实现的SSS检测算法能够很好地完成小区搜索的辅同步检测过程。

Abstract:The cell search is an important process in the 3GPP long term evolution (LTE) system.The mobile terminal performs cell search to achieve time and frequency synchronization between itself and a base station by Primary Synchronization Signal ( PSS ) and Secondary Synchronization Signal (SSS) detection. The traditional SSS detection algorithm is required to traverse all possible sequences, which has high complexity.In view of this disadvantage, this paper proposes a new algorithm which uses the characteristics of SSS to reduce the number of the candidate SSS sequences. This algorithm can significantly reduce the search range and calculation complexity.For FPGA implementation, it uses lbit quantization and computing unit time division multiplexing to further reduce the complexity of SSS detection. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can complete the SSS detection process of cell search.
