| Abstract: | A formula for determining the reactions of Lagrange-ideal constraints when using arbitrary linear quasi-velocities is obtained. An example of rolling of a sphere along a pair of skew lines is considered with different assumptions regarding whether stick or slip occurs at the points of contact. |
