| Abstract: | Summary. The application of derivatives of the easily decomposing weak bases formamide, semicarbazide, urea, or formamidine in the
synthesis of β-aminoenones is described. These compounds readily undergo transamination with strong bases, thus opening the
way to various heterocyclic compounds.
