| Abstract: | The effect of partial wave interference on angular distributions is examined. We find that monotonic changes either in backward or sideways scattering are not entirely due to contribution of small orbital angular momenta. The occurrence of the sideways reactive scattering of F + H2 at higher incident energies is consistent with observation. |
